Hi I'm Harish,
Very worst thing happened to me, actually after booking and paying the amount for the hotel room, the hotel denied the check-in. The Oyo team told they will refund my amount within 14 business days, but it's been more than the estimated date for the refund, no support team is able to tell me what the refund status, from 7am till 6pm I'm contacting the helpline team and support team but there was no use except my time waste, it's not a small amount even thought it is I'm not ready to go in vain. I need the refund immediately now

    Address: Spot On Hotel Athithi Rajkot (Booked through OYO rooms)

    I have been waiting for my refund since October and it has been approved and have email to prove that.
    The hotel Spot On Athithi was overbooked so did not get the room so cancelled the booking before the cutoff time.
    Please send me email so I can give you my bank details and have vsent several emails with my bank details.

        I booked hotel room at at www.oyorooms.com on 28th December, 2022 for one day stay in Hyderabad for my parents. After successfully have done the booking and have done the complete payment, my parents were denied check in at 2'o clock in the night. The hotel's name is OYO Townhouse 710 Hotel Regal. Booking Id is QOCI1905.
        I want to complain against this inhuman and fraud work by OYO and the hotel.

          I had a booking in oyo which got cancelled and oyo refunded as oyo rupee which I cant use. I want the money in my bank account.

          Looks like Oyo do not have any policy, the only policy is to acquire customer money by all the scams including lying about hotel price while booking, not refunding after wrong booking, putting money as Oyo rupee without customer consent. However I have got my money refunded from Oyo rupee to back to my bank account. Thanks to the consumer forum site https://consumerhelpline.gov.in Closing this complaint here. They mailed and took bank details and transferred the OYO RUPEE to my bank account.

          Hi Hemant, the amount is transferred to your Oyo rupee account because you selected this option. The app gives you 2 options to choose from, one is in your original source which takes 7-14 working days for the amount to be credited to your account and another is an Oyo rupee wallet which is an instant credit to your wallet. We would like to inform you that once the money is credited to the Oyo rupee, it can not be reversed to the original payment source. Though you can use the entire amount in your next booking with us .~Team OYO

          First of all thanks for responding as your customer care number is impossible to talk regarding any post booking issues.
          About the concern, first of all while cancelling the booking didn't saw the option to get the money in bank else would have choosen that only.
          Secondly I'm closing my account so do not wish to use Oyo services. So it would be great if you could transfer the money back to my bank account then I can start with account closing process.
          I hope you understand and help in the same.

            This is regarding the OYO Refund issue. I have booked rooms in Cochin and I see they had different images in the website and rooms are in worst condition. So I didnt check in and called OYO customer care immediately. They promised for full refund and I sent all required details for the refund.
            I got confirmation email on the same on 12th Dec. I see there is nothing credited to my account till now and when I tried to call customer care, they are just hanging up the call with out any resolution.

            Trust me, this is worst customer care that I have seen so far.

            They asked me to wait 7-14:days on 30th. 14 days completed by today. Money is not yet credited.

            It looks like a BIG SCAM.

              I booked the spot on 703401 hotel prachi by oyo app. booking id CK8T9561 check in from 25/12/22-27/12/22 when i tried to reach hotel address was wrong and i call to hotel manager hotel was 6 km far from the registered address and also hotel hotel manager denied to checkin because they dont have vacant room all the rooms are occupied.

              again i booked the oyo 61719 hotel jumanji booking id FTEF9355 from the date 27/12/22- 30/12/22. when i reached the hotel again the hotel owner denied to check in and said if you need room you can book directly because oyo charged less to you i tried so many call to oyo team but they were not able to do anything. i waited for 5 hour at hotel lobby with my family for the oyo call back and after 5 hr oyo escalate the booking to the next hotel name is oyo town house 510 hotel garnet inn booking id VFC10409 this hotel also 5km far from the jumanji hotel i called to hotel manager they denied to check because they didnt get the amount from Oyo and said when they gave us the amount then you will checkin. otherwise you have to wait but in next 24 hr i didnt get any notification regarding checkin or payment.

              i tried 16call to your oyo team and total call conversation around 2hr but you guys have not yet resolve the issue.

              I dont want refund i want proper solution that i suffered in last few days.

              suffered in cold for 5days. i moved from one hotel to another hotel because of your stupidity and miss management. other hotel charged double or triple charges because of you responsive behaviour.

              and when i called to your manager or representative they having a single solution sorry sir, sorry for facing inconvenience and system is not working why you guys making customers fool. you guys spoiled the whole christmas and new year weekend .

              I will sue in consumer forum regarding the issue.

                I booked room on oyo app at hotel chandra inn 29392 on dated 25th december.
                But at the time of checkin they denied to accept my booking saying they no more accept booking via oyo. I told them that I have already paid for booking but they insisted to book offline and pay entire floor price. I had no option but to return and find another stay option. I want refund for payment I made on oyo app for booking as I was not been provided with room. I have shared screenshot of my booking. Kindly refund as soon as possible.
                Also I lost my email-id password so request you to contact me on this email ID or [protected].

                  Booking ID: C8UD98, I have booked a hotel on 9th Dec 2022, but cancelled within 20 mins after Oyo app was showing not operational for the property, and property manager phone number was also not valid.
                  I applied for refund it is initiated on that day itself through original payment source i.e GPay. But till I haven't received any payment, i have checked bank statement also

                    Oyo is not refunding my money intentionally, instead blaming me that I have selected Oyo wallet as refund account which is total rubbish. Booking ID: C8UD6098 .
                    I paid Rs.4845 through GPay account and expect the same source . It is more than 7-14 days

                      And OYO team said they refund the amount and nothing was credited so far. I am keep trying to call customer care but no resolution.

                        I booked a room in Oyo room but was denied entry. I made another booking in a different hotel and asked multiple times to check with the property owner regarding availability and ensure a peaceful check-in. In the end, I was denied entry at both hotels. I was told by the second property owner that they are not accepting any bookings from Oyo due to tariff issues. Upon checking with the Oyo customer care executive, he confirmed that the booking was rejected due to the low tariff. Along with me, there were 3-4 other people in the queue facing the same issue.

                        I came to Hyderabad from Bangalore for a medical procedure and was just roaming around to check my booked room. The customer care executive still asking me to try 3rd booking.

                        I hope GOI doesn't want to create this kind of image for our nation.

                          I'm a Surgeon from AIIMS, New Delhi.
                          This is to bring to your notice, a very unpleasant experience, we had with OYO rooms.
                          I have booked a room in Mumbai, OYO 79035, Flagship Hotel Kalpana Elite for a period of 3 days from 21/12/22 to 24/12/22 through OYO website.

                          Booking Id: ZPX48295
                          I was attending a Surgical conference, on behalf of AIIMS near Kalina University.

                          Booking was confirmed almost a month back and I had paid the money already.

                          On the 21st when I reached the hotel, the property manager refused to give me a room.

                          I immediately contacted OYO customer care, the customer care tried to speak to the property manager with no vail.
                          The customer care representative was also not able to provide any other rooms nearby!

                          OYO being one of the largest platforms in the country, for providing the lodging services, it was quite surprising they were not able to find a room in a metropolitan area like MUMBAI !!

                          We were left in the middle of the road till midnight, because of the callous attitude of OYO and also the property management!!

                          Had to undergo a lot of mental trauma and also financial loss and had to book another hotel nearby for exorbitant prices!!

                          And all the reply the customer care had was, we will refund your booking money, you can cancel the booking!!!

                          Which in no way covers the physical pain and the financial loss we had to face because of the last minute booking for 3 nights!!

                          I request the management to look into these matters and try to avoid these future mishappenings.

                          I also want the users to be aware of these kind of mishappenings and be ready with alternate plans.

                                We have booked 4 rooms in OYO 88808 Raghunath Palace (Puri, odisha) for the dates 28-Dec-2022 to 31-Dec-2022 .
                                We received a call from OYO one day prior our visit saying that they are cancelling our booking from their end, without our consent.
                                We have repeatedly asked them to not do this as there is no availability of hotels nearby but they are not responding and not picking the call as well. We already paid the booking amount.

                                  I had booked a room with oyo for three days (8 dec-11 dec) then I decided to cancel the room because of alterations in my plan. My refund payment is pending even after promise of refunding full amount. They cut the phone after promising to call back with a solution but they never do this had happened 5 times when we try to connect to service team there is an loop of press 1 for talk to service team, when we press 1 we automaticly reffered to main menu again. When we connect to customer care they say we are connectig you to service team then we have to wait for more then half houre and then phone is automatically disconected
                                  seriously the team of oyo needs to resolve this issue

                                    I booked a room in Oyo app and i got the confirmation that the booking has been confirmed. today i got a call from the property stating that rooms are sold out and they are forcing me to pay extra money so that they can give me the room.

                                    I called oyo but they did not respond to me in a professional way and oyo is asking me to cancel the booking. Really disappointed with oyo and oyo property they are just trying to loot money.

                                      I booked room on oyo app at hotel chandra inn 29392 on dated 25th december.
                                      But at the time of checkin they denied to accept my booking saying they no more accept booking via oyo. I told them that I have already paid for booking but they insisted to book offline and pay entire floor price. I had no option but to return and find another stay option. I want refund for payment I made on oyo app for booking as I was not been provided with room. I have shared screenshot of my booking. Kindly refund as soon as possible.

                                        I booked a room in hotel orient flagship 73965 on 25th dec through oyo app. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo. As I had no other option, I had to pay extra charges i.e. 869₹ apart from 331 which I paid while booking, so total bill was summed up to 1200. They also refused to give me bill. Even though I am sharing screenshot of payment done by me. This is totally not expected from oyo. I just want refund for extra money that I paid which is 869₹ as soon as possible. I have contacted oyo service multiple times but it is not worth contacting. Executives are only putting calls on hold for long hours and not responding. Resolve my issue as soon as possible.

                                        Hello I am jeevan raj, i had reserved 2rooms trough Oyo on[protected] for 6 family members and as per the call center instructions i had paid online trough phone pay if RS 1185, but after reaching to the reserved property of Oyo they demanded and forced us to pay 900 extra, and the behaviour is very bad
                                        And for the behaviour perpose i came to home with my family...

                                        I booked a room in hotel 10264 Hotel midtown Moudhapara Raipur on 4th jan through oyo app. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo. As I had no other option, I had to pay extra charges i.e. 449₹ apart from 400 which I paid while booking, so total bill was summed up to 849. They also refused to give me bill.
