I had booked a room with oyo for three days (8 dec-11 dec) then I decided to cancel the room because of alterations in my plan. My refund payment is pending even after promise of refunding full amount. They cut the phone after promising to call back with a solution but they never do this had happened 5 times when we try to connect to service team there is an loop of press 1 for talk to service team, when we press 1 we automaticly reffered to main menu again. When we connect to customer care they say we are connectig you to service team then we have to wait for more then half houre and then phone is automatically disconected
seriously the team of oyo needs to resolve this issue

    I booked a room in Oyo app and i got the confirmation that the booking has been confirmed. today i got a call from the property stating that rooms are sold out and they are forcing me to pay extra money so that they can give me the room.

    I called oyo but they did not respond to me in a professional way and oyo is asking me to cancel the booking. Really disappointed with oyo and oyo property they are just trying to loot money.

    I am suffering without a hotel now, as i trusted oyo but they cheated me and made me feel unsafe.

    I want oyo to provide with the room or compensate me with the new booking

    So, I am forwarding this issue legally.

      I booked room on oyo app at hotel chandra inn 29392 on dated 25th december.
      But at the time of checkin they denied to accept my booking saying they no more accept booking via oyo. I told them that I have already paid for booking but they insisted to book offline and pay entire floor price. I had no option but to return and find another stay option. I want refund for payment I made on oyo app for booking as I was not been provided with room. I have shared screenshot of my booking. Kindly refund as soon as possible.

        I booked a room in hotel orient flagship 73965 on 25th dec through oyo app. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo. As I had no other option, I had to pay extra charges i.e. 869₹ apart from 331 which I paid while booking, so total bill was summed up to 1200. They also refused to give me bill. Even though I am sharing screenshot of payment done by me. This is totally not expected from oyo. I just want refund for extra money that I paid which is 869₹ as soon as possible. I have contacted oyo service multiple times but it is not worth contacting. Executives are only putting calls on hold for long hours and not responding. Resolve my issue as soon as possible.

        Hello I am jeevan raj, i had reserved 2rooms trough Oyo on[protected] for 6 family members and as per the call center instructions i had paid online trough phone pay if RS 1185, but after reaching to the reserved property of Oyo they demanded and forced us to pay 900 extra, and the behaviour is very bad
        And for the behaviour perpose i came to home with my family...
        This Is very bad experience at pride manyata

        I booked a room in hotel 10264 Hotel midtown Moudhapara Raipur on 4th jan through oyo app. I paid booking amount through app but when I reached hotel, they told me that booking is invalid and if I want to checkin I will have to pay extra tariff charges which is not mentioned anywhere in the oyo.           Hi, My Booking at Oyo 45125(Booking ID IC2O4906) was canceled since manager denied to give room .Hence initiated for refund and it has been 14 Days after that still have not received the refund.have tried to contact customer care, and they say they are transferring the call but have no result - the call does not get transferred and after some time the call gets disconnected.
          Please help me in getting my refund

            I am giving 1 star rating as I can’t give 0 rating .Oyo is truly unprofessional, boycott it. I made hotel room booking before 3 to 4 days of check-in with full amount paid in advance. On the day of check-in while visiting hotel, property owner says Rooms are sold out. Even though i had advance booking. And then took 4 hour to get connect with oyo cuctomer care and they were not able to provide any alternative hotel for stay. After 4 hours of call with approx 8 different customer care executives they said we can’t do anything and will refund you amount. During Christmas week how the hell i get on spot hotel booking if oyo being a hotel chain unable to book hotel for me and refund of same booking amount is not going to worth it. Such a pathetic experience with oyo. I don’t know what kind of business model is follwed by oyo because after bookin with advance payment at oyo application, propery owenr is declining the reservation this seems no proper synchronization with property owner. It’s better to close business if you are unable to manage and giving customer such a pathatic experience .

            Booking id PJJ47607. You are talking about resolving the issue. At max you can refund my booking amount and its already in progress but refund is not point here. My concern is, i struggled 3 hours on road as property owner denied check-in even though it was advance payment booking and after 3 hours got response like oyo can’t do any alternative booking and they asked me to find room. Being hotel chain oyo can’t book alternative hotel than how they can expect me to book the room during Christmas festival. This is really inappropriate business practice and if you can’t handle businesses kindly shut if off.

              I have booked rooms from Booking.com on same day as check-in day December 25 2022. Oyo contacted me and asked to pay half of the amount to confirm booking. I have paid the amount through PhonePe. For some personal reasons, I had to cancel the reservation. But Oyo is refusing to refund the amount because of their policy. They have mentioned that cancellation on the day of check-in after 9 AM will not get any refund. But I have booked after 9 AM and cancelled it before 12 PM afternoon. Both Booking.com and OYO are irresponsible. I want to get refund at any cost within 15 days of cancellation.

                On 1 december 2022, I had booked my room by making the full payment at time of booking in google pay of Rs. 438.When I arrived at the hotel, the hotel owner had intimated me that payment was not made by me and payment details were not reflecting in his OYO online app.So at that moment i had again made the payment of Rs.563 on google pay.
                So I want refund of amount Rs.438 from oyo team.I have tried to reach the OYO customer contact but they are not responding the issue and disconnecting the call.
                So request you to raise the my compliant and look in the matter and make the refund of my money as soon as possible.

                  I, Sqn Ldr Westly Benetto, having a Defence Salary Account with SBI Subroto park, New Delhi with account No [protected]. On 27 Oct 2022, I booked 4 rooms through OYO portal in OYO Capital ‘O’ 11079 Hotel Prestige, 1-7-206, Paradise Road, Hyderabad, for 3 nights i.e., from 09 to 12 Nov 2022.I paid an advance of Rs 9, 331/- out of a total amount of Rs 26659/- and received a confirmation message of WhatsApp. The booking was done for my guests coming to attend my wedding at Hyderabad on 11 Nov 2022.
                  On 09 Nov 2022, I travelled from Trichy to Hyderabad along with with my parents and 30 other relatives and landed Hyderabad airport at 1155 AM. As soon as I landed at Hyderabad and was collecting my luggage, I received a call from a person claiming to be from OYO with Mob No [protected] asking me to pay the balance amount of Rs 17328/- to confirm the booking. I requested the person to give me some time as I have just landed at Hyderabad. Inspite of my request, I received multiple calls from the same number pestering me to pay the amount within next 10 minutes saying it has to be done before 12 pm. I again requested him to give me some more time as I had to manage 30 of my relatives, who came to attend my wedding. He again kept calling me, and I had to tell him to cancel the booking if it was so urgent. He was quiet for some time and again started calling me. To get rid of the nuisance, I said I would pay Rs 10, 000/- and the balance would be cleared on checking in, at the hotel. He then sent me an account number on Wattsapp with OYO symbol as the profile picture and with all the other details as received by me at the time of initial booking and confirmation. I paid Rs 10, 000/- through Gpay and sent him the screen shot through Wattsapp. The account number to which Rs 10, 000/- was transferred is [protected] and IFS Code is HDFC0000368, account of Hotel Prestige.
                  He again called and said that since I had not mentioned my name and booking reference, the system couldn’t identify and is not accepting the payment. He asked me to pay another Rs 9, 999/- mentioning my name and booking reference and also mentioned that the previous amount of Rs 10, 000/- would be refunded immediately. Since I was in a hurry and lot of stress looking after all my relatives, I again paid Rs 10, 000/- into the same account through Gpay and sent him the screen shot mentioning my name and booking reference. The person called me again and informed me that he had asked me to pay Rs 9, 999/-, instead I had paid Rs 10, 000/-, hence the system is not accepting payments of similar amounts. I thought the matter is settled and sat in the car of my father-in-law who had come to pick us up, I called up the person to check about the status of my payments, since I did not get any further confirmation, to which he stated that there was some GST error and could not confirm the payment. I lost my patience and asked him to refund the complete amount and cancel the booking. He then requested me to pay one last amount of Rs 8, 399/- to solve the GST error and send the screen shot. Since my guests were on their way, and I did not want to embarrass my guests, I paid Rs 8, 399/- and sent him the screen shot.
                  In the evening, when I reached the hotel along with my guests, to occupy the rooms, I was informed by the hotel guys that I had complete the payments to get the rooms to which I showed them the screen shots of the payments made through Gpay. The hotel guy told me that no payments have been received by them. I then requested them to atleast give me 1 room since I had already paid an advance of Rs 9, 331/-, to which they flatly refused to give me 1 room also. I then contacted my bank to which I was informed to contact the nearest SBI branch, which was of no help because I was informed that the matter can be resolved by the home branch only which is in Delhi. I had come to Secunderabad for my wedding hence got busy with all the functions and returned to Chennai on the 14 Nov 2022.

                    Booking Id: F52G4269. I had booked Flagship 74334 Hotel Marina, Kolkata for 29th nov and also paid booking amount of Rs 830. After reaching the hotel they denied entry saying the booking details, i.e. number of people registered is not matching with what Oyo is saying their mail and application.

                    I had to book another hotel. I requested for refund on the same day. Its been more than 14 days since the time and I still haven't received the refund amount. I have been calling them up multiple times and every time they say to wait for a few more days.

                    It looks like Oyo is running a scam by showing offers and false booking. Really pathetic service on their end.

                    Please help me get the refund.

                      Oyo Rooms — Haven't received my refund yet
                      I had booked 2 deluxe rooms through my hdfc credit card in oyo flagship 75781 new cresent park, coimbatore for nov 12-13, 2022 using booking.Com. When we reached ther, they denied check-in. We came to know that the rooms were given to somebody else. Instead of apologising, they started threatening and abusing us. The staff were drunk and acted like gundas. I made a complaint to oyo and booking.Com. But i havent received my refund yet. It is more than 4 weeks. Neither do they respond to my emails not be reached on phone. Kindly help. Please ban these agents.

                          I have made an booking through Oyo mobile app on 24th Nov 2022 with Booking ID - JJWX0316 for which i paid Rs.649/-. After check in - denied issue i lodged a complaint and i was assured that amount 649/- has been initiated for a refund with a confirmation mail. Till today, after 14 working days, no refund has been credited to my account.

                          I have been trying to reach oyo service team for the same issue, either customer support team is taking more than 1 hour to connect or cut off the call.

                            OYO townhouse 364 Richmond Road, Bengaluru
                            I made a booking for 2 rooms check in date 15th December 2022
                            I had arrived at the hotel only on 16th December at 4:30 Am
                            Made one day booking advance since I wanted a guaranteed room at 4:30 am
                            The app already showed me checked in around 4 pm on 15th whereas I reached only at 4:30 am on 16th
                            Upon reaching the receptionist asked me for id proof got my signature and number on his book and also a payment of Rs.3054
                            And then while giving the room keys he denied check in saying room had water leak issues and no other room is available and also refused to return my money saying raise a complaint in OYO they will refund entire money
                            Basically denied check in even for one room though booked 2 rooms
                            After that I was asked to leave the property since no rooms were available and it was 5 am in the morning
                            Before I could complain to OYO the receptionist had registered that I had checked out
                            Also customer care is never reachable
                            Charged Rs.6431
                            Paid ₹3376 through OYO app and ₹ 3054 at the hotel
                            No money is yet refunded
                            Being charged ₹6431 for being denied check in
                            Worst experience with OYO
                            I want my refund of ₹6431
                            Did not even stay was denied a room and still charged ₹6431
                            OYO is open scam going on in India

                              I booked a room on 19th November 2022 with booking ID ZJHA6106. I paid Rs 588 for the same. But when I went to the hotel they denied to check in saying that the hotel is already full. So I called to OYO customer care and they suggested to cancel the booking and placed a new booking and I will get the full amount refunded. So I did the same. But Still I didn’t receive any refund amount. After 14 days I called to OYO that why I didn’t get the refund, as it was told to me that the refund amount will credited within 14 working days. They said to wait for 14 more days, there was some technical issue from their side. So I did the same. But still I didn’t get the amount after waiting more than one month. And now call is not reaching to OYO customer care. t

                              still your customer care did not connect to me. How much more day do you need to resolve this small issue. I think now I should file a court case on OYO.

                                Customer care executive made me believe that the hotel they are booking for me is rated high, but in reality it was the worst ever hotel I have ever occupied. OYO flagship 703049 Hotel park avenue. I paid for 2 days, but eventually I had to vacate ASAP, because of the unhygienic and poor standard of hotel and terrifying behavior of hotel staff. I have lost my money and time.

                                  My booking ID: MGJK9256 booked for[protected] to[protected] and checked in as per the date. During my stay I forced to vacate the room with no reason. When I approached customer care they said that they will refund the amount within 14 working days (in email[protected], but after 14 days till to date[protected] no response for refund.
                                  When I am calling to customer ([protected]), they put my call on hold for half an hour saying that they were transferring call to service department. Never I reached the service department, actually that option is not at all there in OYO.
                                  When I am sending number of mail to OYO help, corporate and booking OYO no response.

                                      I have been trying to connect with OYO customer service complaint department regarding the complaint I raised for refund with the booking I did with Hotel Rajdoot on 18th of December.

                                      Booking ID: UW295174

                                      I made prepaid amount of Rs. 1577 and as soon as I called Hotel, they denied checkin saying their Hotel is full and OYO donot even update about the availability of rooms.

                                      Immediately I called customer service to complaint the same. I clicked on Need Help which seems to be OYO chat bot.

                                      I informed on chat saying I am denied checkin.

                                      I got customer service number and I called the customer service number. It got connected to one agent to whom I explained everything. He offered for next booking and for refund of previous booking I can connect with OYO service team.

                                      I agreed and booked another hotel with the help of him, . I also made a payment on the link he shared on my registered whatsapp number.

                                      Later on I tried connecting to service team (IVR option is 2) for complaint which gets automatically disconnected saying high call volume and asking to click on chat.

                                      The call always gets disconnected, no matter whenever you call.

                                      And chat never has option of my query. I clicked on Ask Anything and mentioned my query. There is no response since last 2 days.

                                      The only option for me was to connecting with Booking team (with option 1 on IVR), where they deny for escalation, they deny for any email of service team or escalation matrix email and also simply transfer the call back to IVR.

                                      This loop mode is going on since last 3 days .

                                      I need help in getting back my hard earned money for the booking where I was denied checkin.

                                        Hi Oyo team,

                                        Sid this side. After facing the worst check-in experience of my life post 12 pm mid night I had to pay extra amount in cash (Rs. 1800) to the hotel even after having 2 bookings at the same hotel, BOTH PAID IN ADVANCE.

                                        Felt very cheated, wanted to leverage the situation using my and my friends collective LinkedIn reach, but decided to trust in your system and hoped that will receive the right SUPPORT! Again I made a mistake to stay shut.

                                        Here are my two booking Id's / reply by OYO teams-

                                        1. Dear Siid,

                                        Kindly find my grievances below:

                                        I have two booking id's for which I had to speak to 28 oyo reps and explain my pain points and the whole story every time and have been deserted on hold everytime before finally getting the service desk to call me back. Can you believe how much of my valuable time I have spent. I can send you recording for each one and you can go-ahead an count the cumulative minutes I have wasted and begged just to receive my own money. For a CAREer starter in Bangalore, with a mere salary, and a person trying to meet ends Rs. 3000 is a lot!!!
                                        Understand it is a LOT!!! This kind of experiences destroy the memories. It makes me feel as if it was wrong of me to enjoy a little.

                                        A lot! Not receiving my money is always in the back of my head, every time I spend my money, it feels like ###! and it has been almost a month now since the date of booking!

                                        My friends and family has asked me to write to you one last time. Post that I can freely write a mail to consumer court.

                                        I sincerely request you to refund the said amount within 24 TO 48 hours.
