My refund has not been issued since 1 month as the hotel manager has promised me. When we left the oyo rooms the manager has refused to refund and said that i have put the mail to the oyo and they will refund you because you have done bookings from oyo.

1 - the rooms are smelling badly
2 - i have put all the languages in my rooms the workers denied because i had come early in the morning and lift was also not working
3 - the hotel manager has said to my drivers that if you want to take the breakfast you have to wash your plates yourself
4 - i had booked my rooms 1 day earlier and my rooms was like full of guests and after that we are waiting in the lobby and they were cleaning the rooms

We had very bad experience with OYO, we not received the refund and done follow up several times, also exceeded more than 14 business days. While checking with bank not yet received any amount.

    Dear oyo,

    I have made the booking yesterday and went to your oyo property and made the full payment from my credit card

    But instead of recieving the confirmation email from your side i have received the cancellation booking email.

    How come its possible.

    I have to reimburse this cost from my company and they accused me for cheating.

    I need a refund of this payment or else i will escalate this to social media, akosha or mr. Ritesh agarwal.

      Dear team,

      With huge disappointment i am having to write to you as you guys truly managed to # up my wedding ceremony. It was my worst mistake ever to trust oyo to get the job done. But i should've known better.

      I booked your oyo galaxy banquet hall for the 17th of june 2018 as the venue for my wedding. The manager there mr. Mukesh roy made huge promises during the booking and kept sweet talking me till the very day to assure me that everything will be done as promised. And as any human bring i trusted him with it. But on my wedding day i was hugely disappointed when even the basic things like ac for my guests was not taken care of. If any of you have any idea of how hot it gets in new dellhi mid june you will know what effect the no ac problem had on my wedding.
      My guests left early (Most of them left without eating) since there was no ac.

      Your guys (Tapan & harshit) called me on the very next day (18th june2018) of my wedding without any prior coordination because of which i had to explain them both my ordeal seperately; post which tapan told me that harshit will get back to me which never happened.
      Today (30/06/18), i called harshit to check on the status and he had completely even forgotten about all this. I had to introduce myself to him and remind him on the phone who i was again; he told me that tapan is supposed to be taking care of this and not him. So i understood that they both are either not taking their jobs seriously or this is clearly a plan to make a fool out of me.
      Now i understand why you guys charge the full payment before delivering cos you make fake promises and loot your customers.
      Tapan on the phone clearly denied to disclose his capacity in the company today and kept making lame excuses for harsh and himself.
      After screaming and shouting my frustration for 15 mins, tapan has told me that he will close this by monday (02/07/18). If now this is possible to close in 2 days, why has it been left pending for almost 2 weeks??? (Since 18th)???

      Below mentioned are some of my expectations that were not met:
      A) ac on the ground floow was not running throughout the event, it was shut down thrice for no reason and my guests had left by the time i finally got them to get it running again which was around 3 in the morning
      B) mr. Mukesh roy, the mgr at the venue had left the building soon after 11pm, whereas, he was my only contact person for oyo and he was supposed to be there the whole night. Due to which i was left managing things in the middle of my wedding with noone to talk to.
      C) mukesh told me that we could play the dj till 12. However, the dj was packed up withing 30 mins of my party reaching there. I had to call mukesh while he was stll there and get it playing again for 10 mins. After which neither the dj or mukesh was seen. That was the last of mukesh that i saw that night.
      D) there was no 'havan kund' arranged for the manadap at all, and and i had to have my guests trying to arrange for one around 2 am in the morning.
      E) the 'varmala' brought was of very cheap quality, when i had asked mukesh clearly that i want to see all those things before the wedding, which he kept stalling and never showed me.
      F) some food items were stale and tasted really bad, i had asked for a food tasting from mukesh as well, which never happened. He offered me some snacks just one day out of some event that was alreaedy happening there, when i went to make some payment to him before my wedding; and even there the water i was served and clearly visible "dust and hair" in it
      G) when it was made clear that there were 4 rooms booked for my guests at the hotel, then i dont know why the id's were asked from each and every guest separetely.

      There are many other small things that i can get into but dont want to because if you are a company that values its customers and not just the money you guys take from them then the above mentioned points should be more than enough for you to take actions against all the culprits here and give me a compensation for this.
      I will never get back the respect i lost in my guest's eyes at my wedding due to all these things that went wrong at my wedding, but maybe you can refund me the money i paid so i dont feel like i have been cheated, lied to and looted dealing with oyo. I hope someone will look into this quick and really hoping i wont have to take any legal action as it will cause me even more pain and trouble, so i hope i wont be forced to consider that as an option.

        When I call to customercare and guests manager they are saying its not applicable on booking ...
        What the manupulaters in Oyo ...please help me

          I am Jitender Kumar from Faridabad. Early this month on 16th & 17th June, we were in Manali, stayed in Hotel Hillside Valley Naggar Road. Advance payment of Rs.15000/- was made. When we checked in the hotel, the following deficiency in room services was noticed.

          1. No water in bathrooms.
          2. Rude and unprofessional behavior by the staff.
          3. 04 Rooms were booked but instead we were given only 03 rooms causing inconvenience for the family members.
          4. When we decided to check out next day because of poor services inspite of our complaints to the authorities, our grievances were not sorted and when we asked for the refund of our amount as we stayed only for one day, the owner of the hotel threatened and abused us verbally with dire consequences and unfortunately we did not get our refund and "under protest", we had to check out from the hotel. We didn't lodge a police complaint as we were with the families.

          Through this forum, I herewith lodge the complaint for deficiency in services and hope that the appropriate authority will look into this matter and get me justice and the earliest.

            market wise I am a small agent but proud to say that I do not do fraud with my clients, where as this you OYO is just a big FRAUD, I donno If I alone facing these 03 issues than how many issue would be in all India, its fraud on a big level

            don't present yourself as a brand

            I understand that OYO provides rooms in INR[protected] and that is why these kind of disgusting issue comes, its ok I don't need any kind of refund, but only request from fraud OYO is please do not present yourself as a brand, write it down over your website that good lodges are provided by OYO with sometimes good service and some time bad experience, Book at your own risk.

              I had booked oyo 13323 at mussoorie for my two day stay there which was automatically updated to oyo 14467 by the oyo team. I received a text message from them regarding the same at 11:24 am i. E. 36 minutes prior to my check-in time. Even the contact number of the oyo captain was not provided anywhere. We had to waste almost 2.5 hrs to reach the new place. On reaching there, we were welcomed by unhygienic and uncleaned rooms which were dirty to the utmost extent. Even the room heaters and mini fridges which were promised to us weren't provided to us. No buckets or mugs were available in the bathrooms. It was a terrible experience staying at oyo.

                The above mentioned is my booking id, after check in i have changed about 3 rooms it was all mess that happened in the oyo room, there was no air condition, no fan, even i face problem in getting a glass of water, the tv is not functioning properly.. I don't understand the value of your customers, i tried calling the oyo customer care after sharing the problems there shows such a negligence or the lack of professionalism. I will not suggest anyone to this fraud service. (Oyo rooms)

                  I tried to check into an oyo hotel on friday and was denied check in because i am a foreigner. Apparently there are lots of oyo hotels that don't accept foreigners. I paid for the room online via a travel website, which didn't have a disclaimer. Oyo customer service placed me in another hotel nearby, the royal crown. I did not choose this hotel. Then they told me that i would have to pay 1700 rupees more, even though this wasn't my fault. I called the travel website and very quickly, they resolved my issue. I got to the hotel and i moved rooms twice due to issues of dirty bathrooms, fly infestations, ac that couldn't be controlled, etc, and the 3rd room i was put in had all of these issues plus the remotes didn't work, lights didn't work, etc. I did not call oyo customer service to complain about this hotel because i was tired and by that time it was several hours later. The next day, customer service called me to ask about my stay. I told them the truth and the representative told me that he would transfer me to another hotel and 'just give me 30 minutes while i talk to my manager'. An hour went by, and in the meantime i packed my things. After it was clear that he wasn't calling back, i tried calling the number he called from and of course, did not get through, so i had to call the regular number and go through person after person, hour after hour of being on hold, calls dropping, and promise after promise that someone would call me back 'in 15 minutes'. I understand ma'am. I'm sorry for your inconvenience, ma'am. All day. I did not receive a call back that day, nor did i receive a call at all the next day. So at 8pm i called again, going through person after person, hold after hold, meanwhile noticing that no one had any clue what my issue was. Nothing had been recorded, so i was met with responses like 'but you requested to change hotels' which is completely untrue, and 'you were not denied check in', which is also completely untrue. Again, i was promised that someone would call me back. And again, no one called me the next day, so i called back again and had to explain everything again for the 500th time. I was promised that the manager would come to the property and meet me to discuss a refund, but that didn't happen because i am here for work and am not hanging out at the hotel all day. So the night before my check out, still no resolution, still no call back, i called again and was promised again that someone would call me before i checked out. Of course, that didn't happen. The issue is still unresolved. This is completely disrespectful. I have stayed in oyo hotels a lot in india because i am here working and move often. I don't understand what is so hard about resolving this issue. At this point, the room is not my problem (And i'm not there anymore). My problem is this incompetent customer service that calls me to offer me something and just never calls back, ever. I don't even know what to say. There is something seriously wrong with this company.

                    I booked a room in Salt Lake Transit house on 23/6/18 for one day one room through net banking vide booking I'd JEZK9045 at 13:59 Rs. 949.00 INB reference no for Oraval Stay's pvt Ltd IGADULGOBI a successfull txn. When I reached at Tnst Hus then manager told me "your payment is not received by us"So we are unable to allot you room. I traveled 04hours journey and my small children outside the shade, then I paid claim amount to manager by cash Rs. 1118.00 And manager also told me you are not the single one who complain over me regarding online payment. So, It's my request to solve my problems and refund the amount for Rs. 949.00.

                      I recently booked through booking id rknt9835 @ oyo 6425 comfort corporate homes estancia, chennai from 23-26 jun, 2018. It was booked 1 month back (21 may) and i got a confirmation from oyo team however when i reached the place, the front desk manager told booking is not there as all rooms are sold out. They told they had informed oyo team via a mail 19 jun and your team also acknowledged the mail. The only difference in no one called me to inform the same to me. I came here 6 hours drive from bangalore only to realize this. I came here for my son admission to srm and was extremely inconvenienced both from time, money and stress point of view. The help line did token service by telling they are sorry. Hope you can take it up with oyo team and give us the service that we expect from such a great and prestigious brand like you.                           Totally bad experience and very very poor service and worst condition of rooms which i faced during my accommodation. I had booked two rooms in this hotel, both were very bad, in my one room a. C. Was not working and i was complaining to hotel management but they had not any support and help to me so finally i had switched to my second room but whole night we had faced in this room electricity had frequently fluctuate due this electricity line a. C. Was not boot-up. Both rooms was very dirty, room amenities was not available, bathroom was very bad and water was chocking, roof fan was generating humming sound. My family has faced that kind of horrible and painful treatment by your hotel cum management. I hope you will think about my mentally harass and tension which were giving by hotel management and oyo.in midnight i had check in, and i had inform to oyo customer care and communicated my problem but tele-caller also had not support to me in good manner. I inform to you that i am regular customer of oyo and goibibo and routeing basis i have being stay in north region of india.
                          This kind of things will dangerous and trouble to oyo company.

                            As per gst act and rules, no gst registered entity can deny for providing gstin tax invoice specifying customer gstin no and GST amount deducted. Oyo is only providing me the payment receipt, which is of no use to me, and firm where i am working is not accepting my claim since the same cannot be used for taking gst credit.

                            i have called them for many times but in vain, they are again sending that invoice in which only amount is mentioned.

                              Hi Team,
                              On 27th April, I booked 1 room in Rishikesh, as you can see the attached screenshot I have applied a coupon of 75% off and it was applied successfully and after applying coupon I need to pay RS 1945, which I paid but after the booking I got a mail from OYO that your order is pending and you need to pay 1945 more.
                              I called OYO customer care and As per our telephonic conversation with Gurpinder_549268, he has have canceled my booking, but I received the mail that amount refunded will be 0. Cancelation charges are rs 1993/-.
                              And till now my money has not be refunded, Can you please confirm by what time I will get the amount. Please resolve this issue ASAP.

                                Don't book packages from oyo. They are cheater. I have booked one package {PKG-LXEJ7461-Mr.Shashank Shekhar, dated from 23 june to 29 june} for 35000.00 prepaid. In final voucher they have added manikaran but now they are denying. all the customer care representative are blaming each other especially the person who made my package. The customer care are worst they always said we will inform you after resolving the problem but you will never get any call. If anyone wants to go anywhere I am not recommending to take oyo package. After taking full payment they will not entertain you.

                                  I book oyo 21_clouds, mahipalpura for me and my girlfriend to spend some quality time and you know what within 2 hours i had to leave the place for the following reasons :-

                                  1. Threats :- although we both submitted our valid ids he wanted to confirm from my girlfriend and wanted her to say that she is staying with her consent and there were mischievous elements in their conversation sort of harassment and judgmental.

                                  2. High possibility of some tragedy :- as soon as we entered into room we noticed something fishy. They were calling some people. Why? What can be the reason for that? Either you don't provide service accepting couples or if you do then let your 19th century mentality go away.
                                  We both were scared as there were 5-6 guys collected at reception and asking for unnecessary details.

                                  3. Unprofessional ism :- they do not accept card payment and when we paid in cash and wanted to leave the room just after 2 hours they started forcing us to wait for some more time as someone else was coming for the confirmation but this time we lost our patience and left the place anyway. I mean seriously what sort of confirmation?
                                  Were we terrorists?
                                  Two adults staying night is that a big deal?
                                  Were they planning something tragic?

                                  Whatever is the reason or possibility, they ruined our night, threatened (Indirectly) and scared us. We left came back to our college campus and she couldn't even speak till morning.

                                  So this is how we are providing safety to girls? By harassing them and i have very high doubts that they were planning to take advantage of situation.

                                  Worst experience.

                                      Dear oyo team,

                                      Ref:booking id no. - "mold4185"

                                      I had a terrible experience and suffered major inconvenience because of irresponsible behavior of hotel staff and few executives of oyo customer care.

                                      I had a booking for double occupancy room in hotel 'oyo 10585 hotel shubhdeep aashiya 2' on 23-june-2018. When i reached the hotel in night at 10 pm, i was told that double occupancy room is not available and 2 single beds could be arranged for you. When i told the hotel staff to kindly check the issue with oyo team because i had a booking from oyo app, they got irritated and misbehaved and yell out certain bad sentences in hindi language. Finally i was denied check-in in any of the room. When i tried to connect to oyo helpdesk for an urgent support none of the customer care executive could properly assist. Every time they disconnected the call and i had to call again and again and repeat the issue to different persons. I stood for approximately 2 hours on the road outside the hotel in the night. Few customer care executive said they will arrange the nearby property but did not contact once the phone got disconnected and few executive asked me to make a new booking and bear the cost again.
                                      Finally when it was really unsafe standing in the night i located a nearby guest house and checked in there. They charged me rs. 2000. I had a booking in oyo for rs. 981.

                                      Because of these oyo services i had a horrifying experience in the night.
                                      -misbehavior of the hotel staff and denied check-in
                                      -irresponsible behavior of the customer care executives who could not resolve the issue and could not arrange another property.
                                      -stood in night at road for 2 hours.
                                      -ha to pay rs. 1019 extra to another property due to urgency created because of all these trouble.

                                      Name of customer care executives involved - mr. Devender, ms. Deepa, mr. Siddharth, mr. Raj etc. Etc.

                                      All these trouble in one single night is too much to handle.

                                      I would like to take a necessary action in this regards and kindly ensure i am properly compensated for the trouble caused to me due to poor services of oyo.

                                        While i am always proud that someone who belong to odisha has brought a dramatic revolution in hospitality industry and made travellers life smooth, writing you after facing such a horrible experience with oyo, deeply hurt, humiliated and looking for an immediate action to stop this kind of dirty behavior to customer and spoiling oyo's image by property managers.

                                        I booked oyo 8188 vardhamaan inn at karol bagh new delhi on 21st june 2018 (Booking id - qilg0291). Me and my colleague reached hotel for check-in in by 12:00 pm. They gave us key of a room which was too small, on request they showed us 2-3 more rooms and all were of same size and completely differnt than what it showed on app while booking. As i had already paid the fee online so we settled down in room number (Room number-11) only because it was at first floor. The room was too small, no sense of cleanliness, no space to keep baggage, toilet were not cleaned. I lodged a complain against the room in app, but due to lack of time and engagement adjusted for 2 days in the same room.

                                        Again on 23rd i extended my booking for one more day from my another mobile due to some more meetings and engagement (Booking id - rzas9321). On 24th i gave 3 star rating to the room as i did not like the room at all. I was packing after giving the rating, i got a call to the landline of the room and someone asking rudely from reception, "why you gave 3 star rating?". I told let me finish my packing, i will come there and explain the reason. He again told rudely "jaldi aao aur batao kyun kharap rating di". I went down after packing, receiption boy was at his place, another person (Rakesh or rajeev gupta i guess his name was) from owner side was sitting. They gave me food bills, where 10% service charge was mentioned. I asked what this charge is for. The reception boy told this is the fee of waiter and attendant. I asked polietely "why should we pay for waiters, already we are paying 4 times more than regular price in hotels for waiter and other services. And such service charge is invalid and no where in india hardly any hotel will ask to pay for waiters". Now the person, so called rakesh or rajeev gupta says me, "kaha kaha ghume ho yaha beth kar batao zara". I told i am not in a mood to explain or argue with you, i can pay 40/- not a deal but it's not correct. Then he says me "ek kaam karo, bill k piche likh do, india me kahi service charge liya nai jata hai". I wrote, " service charge are not valid, and why customer. Will pay for waiter?"
                                        Now the fellow says to the reception boy, " 40 rupees kam kar do iska aur dhakka mar k nikalo isko". 6-7 more customers were standing there i felt deeply hurt and insulted. I told, " you can't talk like this, i will lodged a complain in oyo. He says, "jo karna hai kar le, complain dena hai de de, main yaha betha hu".

                                        I paid the amount without service charges and gave 70/- tips to the waiters and left the hotel being humiliated, deeply hurt and insulted infront of other customers. He did not give me the food bills also. I have one such food bill that they gave me on 23rd, attached.

                                        I trust in oyo, so i prefer to book hotels by oyo. Now i will think 100 times before booking in oyo. You are trying to make a very good name and improve the hospitality industry, but due to such #s and ill-mannered persons you might loose business and reputation.

                                        I have few questions for you sir,

                                        1. Is it my fault to ask something which is my right?
                                        2. Is it my fault to trust on oyo?
                                        3. Have not i paid to stay in hotel and get words like dhakka mar ke nikalo isko after paying more than the room deserves?
                                        4. What you are going to do to get my trust back on oyo?
                                        5. Are you going to take some action against that # and that property?

                                        Looking forward for your kind response and action against the property. Now it's your call to dismiss the case or take it with utmost seriousness. I trust you are with your customer always.
