I would like to lodge a complaint and share my feedback related to the call handling of the agents who handled my case on 29th-july’2018 regarding hotel amar villa in safdarjung enclave. I had a worst experience with oyo because i didn’t get check in entire night and at last i demanded for full refund as it was oyo’s fault. The case is that i was on my way to the hotel in the evening time on the check in date but got sucked in traffic. So i have called in oyo and asked the agent to inform the hotelier that will reach by late evening. The agent said not to worry as my booking was confirmed, already paid as well and he was confirming the same to the hotel. When i reached at the hotel, the hotel main gate was closed. So i called at the hotel reception and asked for the entry gate. Night shift hotel receptionist asked my booking name and then he told me that we are sold out for today and asked me to call back oyo. I have called oyo guestline number, agent named aman picked up the call, i explained all of the above to him. He said me to wait for his call back after 10min. Meanwhile, agent named abhinav/abhinay called me from the guestline to assist, i again explained entire issue to him, he also said me to wait for 10-20min for the resolution. I was standing outside the hotel amar ville but didn’t get call back from any of the guestline agents on time. So i myself call back on the guestline number, agent named virender singh picked up the call and i explained the entire issue to him as well. This agent was polite enough to help me out and he stayed on call with me so that he can provide me the alternate hotel options on the same call but the call got disconnected in between. I got call back from aman and abhinav after 20-25min, one of them told me to shift in bee for homestay in the same location. I reached at bee for homestay but that hotel was in a very congested street, i stucked there for 20min. Cos i was driving on my own car and there was not even a space to pull back my car. I asked abhinay to check any other hotel cos this bee for homestay was not at all worthy enough to stay. He said me to again wait for call back. Then i got call from virender, he told me to go to hotel kehar palace which was located in nearby location. I reached there and it was on 2nd floor of the building. I checked for the receptionist as virender was unable to coordinate with the hotelier from his phoneline. The receptionist was a very young boy, he was sleeping on the couch and when i tried to wake him up, he woke up for 2seconds, he was still in his sleep and unable to understand anything as he was so much drunk. I felt so unsafe there, so i went downstairs, picked up my car and go back to some safe area. At last, i was so pissed that i asked virender to provide me full refund or shifted me to the hotel which were just nearby hotel amar villa as the location was safe there. Virender said he can make a new booking but it will take some more time. As it was too late night and i was with my fiancé so i prefer not to talk with any hotel receptionist at this late and asked for the refund only. Virender provided me the full refund and told me the refund tat.
So now at last, i request oyo to kindly check the itineraries from the hotelier before marking any booking as confirmed and asked your agents to do call back asap as per their commitment. Because of the liberage and this entire issue, i had to suffer a lot till 1-2a. M.
OYO Rooms customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
The amount of 716rs was debited from my account. And now it's been more then 1month the amount is not refunded yet..
Called you guys several times..mailed you..No results..
Get it checked asap Booking Id GTHQ3584 otherwise going to take it to higher level..
