We are back from our trip to north east india which covered gangtok, lachung, pelling and darjeeling which was booked by oyo rooms. Oyo promises "hassel free holidays" or rather, "make your stay awesome away from home". Neither was our trip hassel free nor was it awesome. Thanks to oyo rooms, i have now experienced what was probably the worst vacation of my life.

Day 1 - we were travelling from bagdodra airport to gangtok. Our taxi driver wasn't ready to drop us to our hotel claiming that cars from west bengal aren't allowed to go there. He stopped us at a local taxi stand and stuffed the 4 o[censored]s in two cars with our luggage, each of the drivers charging us 200 rs. The taxis then stopped outside the escalating lane of the hotel and then we had to take another taxi to go up who also charged us another 200. All of that was #. The car could've gone till the top of the hotel. This entire lie cost us 600rs. What terrible car service! This should be covered in the money we paid for booking taxis.

Lachung - the hotel, the tenzing retreat, booked in lachung by our travel agent - runal gupta, i have literally no words to describe it! To start of, they gave us 1 room for 4 people. There was one big bed and one small bed and one bathroom.. For 4 people! The hotelier knew there were two rooms available and yet was asking for extra charge for them. The service was even worse. It was freezing in lachung and so we asked for an extra blanket and yet they never complied. They did not even have the decency to say they didn't have it. They just left us hanging. The next morning there was no water. No water!! Is this the quality booking y'all do? By far the worst hotel i've stayed at. Thanks for that.

Gangtok - we came back to gangtok for another night before we left for pelling. Scheduled for the morning on day we left for pelling, we had site seeing in gangtok. The previous night we spoke to our taxi server, mr. Kalpak who assured us that that an inova (The car we paid for) would be outside our hotel by 9am. We were all down and ready by 9 am. And what's this? Our car wasn't there. We waited an hour, still no car. We called kalpak - " oh the car will be there soon" " oh it'll be an inovo, don't worry". Hours and hours went by, we were tired of calling our agent runal who should have been handling the taxi service but instead we were doing his job for him. We couldn't contact him anyway, nor could we contact oyo, nor mr. Ish. Our lovely car finally came by 3pm. 3 pm! 3 pm!! 6 hours we waited at the hotel lobby. You could even call the hotel manager, mr. Yash marda, to confirm if my claims seem to sound ridiculous or perhaps unrealistic. We missed our tour of gangtok and no one picked up our calls. And the lovely car that came was a scorpio. Not what we agreed on and not what we paid for. My mother had fractured her leg and my cousin had spondylitis. The ride to pelling was unbearable for them.

Pelling - experiencing the horrors at the hotel at lachung, we asked our aforementioned agent to give us a better hotel in pelling. As discussed we agreed on hotel phamrong which seemed decent enough. But obviously the time we were reaching the hotel we couldn't get in touch with runal which was the case throughout most of our voyage. By the time we reached he sent us a text saying our hotel was the himalayan retreat. We went there - absolutely average. We went back to phamrong and asked if they had empty rooms and - viola! They unsurprisingly did. Why weren't they booked in the first place when that's what we agreed on? We had to pay 4000 rs extra to stay there. The cost should be included in the amount we previously paid.

Pelling - after the hotel mess, the next morning in pelling our taxi still didnt come. After all the mess we went through in gangtok, missing the tour of the entire city, you had the audacity to do nothing when it came to this in pelling. We called the taxi service guy who gave us a number of another taxi guy who then gave us another number and the loop went on. Runal, whom we obviously called, also who i'm not sure did anything at all. He told us the car would come in the next half an hour, but we waited for 3 hours and no promised inova came. Like any self-respecting group of people, we booked a local cab. Thanks for the help here. We sat in the hotel for 3 hours doing your job. You didn't even do your job well. If there had been a problem with the cars or something, at least tell us about it. But no the same " your car will come in 15 mins" was given. For 3 hours. We paid the local taxi service 2000 rs which should be covered within the amount paid. Confirm it with the hotel owner if you please.

So that's that. Our trip and nightmare finally came to an end.

We'd like a refund of :

Gangtok local taxi : rs. 600

Pelling hotel : rs. 4000

Pelling local taxi : rs. 2000

Total : rs. 6600

I wish i could charge you for how much this booking made us suffer, but unfortunately there can't be a price put to that. The thousands of phone calls we made and the shocks we received, the time we wasted and the sights we weren't able to see of course will make it obvious that oyo'll never hear from me again.

Hopefully you'll get in touch with us about our payment we deserve to receive. Quickly too i hope.

I booked two rooms at Elysee Hotel Dehradun the minimum faselities are not given by the hotel but at the time of booking you have shown many
It shows you deal with coustmer in wrong way
There is no coffee tea maker
There is no hot water supply
And many more complaints

    My booking is:izsj7054

    I booked a hotel in mysore in the afternoon from bangalore for a over night stay. The executive promised us that the property is very good and they allow only families and rated more than 4. I again insisted him to look for a premium and a good hotel for 3 families and he promised this was the best one.
    We reached mysore at 9pm and managed to reach the hotel and to my surprise even the entrance was not inviting and when i went inside and checked it was looking like an hostel converted to hotel and they allow anyone and was not meeting my expectation mainly.

    So i called the executive she promised me to get another hotel and i was on call for about 1 hour to figure out. The time has become 10 pm and am with my family on road. Finally after another attempt i was able to get a decent hotel and the executive was about to book and she asked me to wait so that she can transfer the call to her senior executive for final booking which was 1000rs more that my previous booking and i said ok.

    I waited, waited and waited no one picked for half hour. I got really posses off now time was 10:30. Again i called again the same thing happened so i tried to cancel and book from my side. The complete
    Money was taken as cancellation charge.

    How can you guys do this to people who are in need and with family trying to book a decent accommodation??? And i tried another book to check if my money will be adjusted again 500 rs was detected for new booking??? How can you steal my money without my consent???

    I request your senior management to have a look at this immediately or i will have to meet them directly and complaint.

      I had booked 3 rooms (3+3+2 adults) for two nights stay at oyo 3564 summer breeze from 15th to 17th of may under booking id xblo2148. We arrived at the venue on the 15th at sharp 19:00 hours. The size of the room was extremely small and the quality substandard. On persistent asking, i was told that the bigger rooms on level 1 were given to guests that had extended their stay. Two rooms were to have mattresses for the third guest. I have attached pictures of the mattress, pillows and floor mat. The so called 'mattress' was as thick as only a blanket and pillows out of shape. Out of 8 people, i had 5 senior citizens none who could sleep on mattress with knots to disturb the spine. Water ran out at dawn and i had to call them at 530am. The generator was only turned on that morning after repeatedly enquiring about back up. Adding to that, dirty floor mats. After leaving the keys with them for at least 8 full hours, the rooms were still not swept properly, mopping didn't happen at all and sheets not changed. As a result of all this, we had to suffer a lot.

      Now to establish the pattern, and to tell you how they run this business, i met another family of 3 that had arrived from mumbai at 19:00 hours on the 16th instant. Despite having a booking confirmation from the hotel, they were denied the room booked by them - instead summer breeze chose to allot them a smaller room like how they had given us the previous night. They make wrongful multiple bookings of the same room.

      I called oyo customer care a number of times, many times i couldn't get a response. Those couple of times that someone did say they'll call back, they actually didn't. At least not within a reasonable time.

      We have stayed in a few oyo rooms in the past, but haven't faced this level of service failure anywhere. The owner of summer breeze, amal saji didn't even answer calls for a long time. Finally one of oyo representatives managed to get him on the phone in conference with me, but he just said hello a few times when it was his turn to answer and the call got / was disconnected.

      Now my demand is simple. I expect to be refunded in full because there was zero value for the money i had paid for our stay at summer breeze.

      Oyo had updated my complaint status to issue closed without a resolution.

      Dear OYO Team, Your guest support last reached me on the 22nd of May. I was informed that Summer Breeze had acknowledged the complaints and that they would ensure this didn't happen again. While I wish they maintain a standard going forward, I want you to understand that this was not an isolated mistake. Instead they must believe that this approach is profitable for them and do it quite regularly. I also have the contact details of Mr. Sadanand Athalye who faced similar issues while checking in on the night of 16th May to stand witness when needed and the complete recording of his conversation with Summer Breeze owner Mr. Saji. Five minutes audio sampling will tell anyone whether or not the owner truly cares about providing quality customer service.

      Regardless I paid for my stay in advance trusting in OYO. OYO failed to set the standard and work with the hotel and resolve my issue on 15th and 16th. OYO was fully responsible for all the trouble we went through. Now OYO is answerable to me. I want my refund.

      PS: Please talk to your marketing representatives at Munnar and Thekkady. There is a huge difference in the way Mr. Saji of Summer Breeze Munnar and Mr. Stanley of Periyar Canopy Thekkady provided for the guests, the latter gave us extraordinary value for money during our stay at his homestay on the 18th.
      Oyo rooms Check in and check out time not clear mentioned .
      My suggestion don't booking through oyo rooms. Direct booking for best option.

        I have booked hotel for 3 night in manali but very worst hotel then i informed to oyo then exchange my property by adding some extra charge& then i reach exchanged i. E very very worst, 250 stairs up this property me & my family not unable to up & down there then i informed to oyo but did not give any response & my call is pending on hold, says your call is transfer to seniors bt my call is on hold for 1/2 hours then disconnect. I give 15 times call a day. This is totally missused to costumer prepayment... I want refund my amount... Other i submit file to consumer welfare... I have some call recording if you needed then i send you... Please take strictly action & refund my amount... Now i am staying in thats worst hotel if i me & my family having any problem then only oyo room is responsible..

          I had booked a hotel via oyo under the bioking id-pero6594 for stay on 05.05.2018 till 07.05.18. During checkin, due to maintenance work i was offered another hotel which led to cancellation. I was told that the rwfund amount of rs.9410 will be credited within 10 to 14 working days. But whenever i call the customercare no. [protected] they are saying we had some issue. We will re-initiate refund, and it will take 7 to 14 working days. I have called like 40 times to oyo, but still i havent received the amount. Worst behaviour is they abruptly disconnect the calls.

              Sir, i booked a room in delhi for 2 adults having local id and i also confirmed by oyo customer care that will this hotel (Aura palace delux, paharganj) accept our local id then they replied that yes it will accept but at 12:30 when we reached the hotel then they deny to provide room as we were having local id and i complained regarding this to customer care oyo but they cut my call by saying that it is on hold and at mid night 1:50 am i booked the hotel in vaishali gaziabaad and i was sick at that time and paid rs 1000 for cab and for room rs1354. So total amount is rs 2354 and now i'm going to complaint regarding this to pmo office, ministry of travel and tourism and delhi high court otherwise provide me compensation of rs 2500 or i will file a case for compensation of rs 50000.

I can tell you one thing nicely the ppl will call n cheat us with fake fake infrmtn and never never prfr this oyo application to anyone mstly i dnt prfr my self..                   I booked oyo room in noida near spice mall sec 25. They charged me very high and i was ready to pay amount since it was about comfort.

                  First of all, hotel is running without registration, because it's a residential area, hotels are not allowed. That's why they didn't have any signboard or banner of the hotel. On the website, they have written spice mall, but it's not in spice mall. Its 200-300 meters away from it.

                  Still, somehow i managed to reach the place.
                  Well.. When i reached the hotel, it was under construction building with full of dust and mud. Not even one staff to receive from the gate, no welcome, no complimentary water or tea or coffee. The first thing they asked me is to make entire payment of 4 days immediately (Usually they charge on check out).

                  I rejected to pay entire amount because of rooms and reception condition. Room was not clean, one out of two light was not working. Door lock was not in good condition. Bathroom didn't have the towel, soap shampoo etc.

                  After making complain to the receptionist, he said he can't do anything now and he said: "sir if you want to cancel the booking, you can cancel". Bathroom condition was really bad and there was a hole just above shower (Looked suspicious, the photo is attached).

                  A horrible experience with oyo rooms, i would surely not book rooms with oyo again.

                  On arriving there, the person on the counter told me to cancel the booking as I was willing to stay for 1 day after all this. He created another booking and I told him to send me the invoice but he didn't.

                    Hi,

                    I am writing this complaint to let you know that i am extremely unsatisfied unhappy with the way my bookings were taken care by oyo rooms and its associated hotel. I will never use oyo rooms in future.

                    I did a following booking:
                    Hotel name: hotel jasmine
                    Booking id: uhcq7415
                    Booking made on (Person name): narender kumar
                    Place: dalhousie
                    Total amount paid: rs 16536
                    Check in date: 28th may 2018, 12 pm
                    Check out date: 30th may 2018, 11 am

                    I paid the full amount on 26th may and my bookings were confirmed. Now when i reached hotel the hotel denied the bookings and hotel person told that they don't have any bookings on such booking id/name. We kept on calling oyo rooms customer care and after few hours we were able to speak to oyo rooms customer care agent and they accepted the mistakes and initiated cancellation.

                    I have still not got any communication by when i will receive the complete refund amount. Till now i have not received any notification. I need the entire amount to be refunded in bank amount asap. Please expedite.

                      I am pankaj kumar visited last manali last week. I booked rooms through oyo app. When i go for checked in, hotel refused to take in. Their concern is there is no room available.

                      I contacted oyo guy mr. Jai thakur, he did not helped us and even not took my call. Your customer care cancelled booking and told that i cancelled booking. It’s ridiculous.

                        Please never ever do a booking through land package from oyo. My package id was pkg-bopuo134. I haddone bookings through oyo. It took me a while to understand the oyo rooms and oyo land package are two different identities and the customer care support denies to solve the issue and keep on redirecting to various numbers. My package was done through chandigarh team mr. Suraj thakur, mr abhishek and ms alisha, who then were disconnecting calls and not answering to mails. Theytook 56k for hotel andtravels and 12k for dinner. On the day of travel i got to know my dinner vouchers are cancelled and now they will refund only 11k. Its been more than 10daysi havent received refund yet. They charged extra 1000rs on land package with no good reason for it.
                        Worst experienceat hotel in shimla.. Hotel kapital andamritsar hotel hihland inn. Please dont go through thistravel. Itsacheater travels.

                          I am an annoyed customer. You took my payment online for new bharat hotel in nainital. Hotel refused to provide me the room, saying their terriff was more then what you offered me. Was that my mistake??? I waited for 1 hour at recpetion because there was some communication gap between you and hotel. Me my wife and my 6 years daughter were suffering. After an hour they gave me room which was wet smelly and of sick environment. I called you people and after speaking to 3 advisors and 2 managers, i got a new hotel 4 kms from the current one. There oyo dollsinn hotel asked me to wait because they didnt get confirmation from you. Was it my fault??? My holiday went wasted. Who suffered??? Only me and my family. I lost my time reputation and felt embarressed. Where is the
                          Resolution??? Who would compensate my reputation loss in front of many hotel staff and customers??? My time and holiday was ruined because of your miss management. I thought to write to you first... Then i would speak to the higher authorities.

                            I have booking the package they confirmed my hotel is 3star hotel Black forest, however at last minute after I informed customer care that hotel booking at Black forest is not confirmed, then the Oyo team started shifting me to a normal hotel.
                            Last 15 days I have send couple of mails however there is no response. I like to go for a complaint. Advice need.

                              I have used oyo many times but this time i am highly disappointed. i have booked a room in hotel dimond nest noida sector 66 and must say that the location is like a village. Firstly they make us wait for so long and then give us room keys. The worst part was that there was frequent power cuts and they are dont even bothered. I mean are we paying for power cut rooms?

                              At the time of check out, one of their staff member ask for our mobile and open oyo app and give 5 star rating to themselves. I mean how can you take someones mobile and do this type of misbehave.

                              I told then that there was many power cuts and we have to stay without electricity for so long and they say that we dont know about it.

                              My experience was really pathetic and i will not recommend anyone to stay in that hotel. Also the oyo kit was also not their.

                              I am angry and frustrated and will not leave the matter easily as i have to face such an embarrassment and their misbehavior.

                                We booked the package with oyo to north east for 8 members and unfortunately one of the member could not travel due to emergency. I requested for a refund on cancellation of airfare but oyo said it is not possible. I contacted the airlines directly and they cancelled the tickets and said the refund of nearly 10000 would be refunded to the travels.

                                This was sent as a mail to oyo with no response till date. Also we had a bad experience on the last day of our return when the cab arranged was not in good shape and was taken to the garage for brake failure. Since we had less time to travel, we arranged for a private cab since no response from oyo and the travels. I raised this complaint on may 15th and requested for a refund but still no response from any of your teams, package support, operations or the sales guys.

                                I would like to register this complaint.

                                Worst customer care ever, no proper response from any of the teams.
                                The booking reference numbers for the Cancellation PNR

                                AFHY9KN - Indigo - 7070 Rs.

                                All these for various destinations from Chennai to Bagdogra and return.

                                Also request you to refund the cab cost that was spent by us - Rs 4000

Rahul [protected] and he also replied that no one picking up the phone please cancelled your booking and i will get the refund without any cancelation charges and i cancelled this booking within 15 minutes at 11:53 pm and that time i am with my family and i also asked from mr raul please book another room he replied we donot have rooms.

                                    So i have online payment but hotel property are not accept online payment, therefor refund . Nageswar Rao, [protected].
                                    I booked a hotel and paid online. when I got to the motel it was overbooked so I was told I would get a refund in 7 to 14 days. I just got an email from Oyo Usa Escalations asking for bank account info. because thats the only way they can refund which makes no since because my payment was excepted without an account. I paid with a mastercard linked to my paypal. I do not have a bank account right now. I called customer service and was told I will get a call.                                       I booked at hotel on 8 may @oyo 9033 but due to plan change, i have cancelled by calling to oyo cc team.

                                      Oyo team also sent me a mail regarding refund but after passing 20 days, no refund receive.

                                      Every time oyo team told me that "due to some technical error your money not refunded so we refunding manually from our side."
                                      [they saying same line everyday]

                                      Totally frustrating.. Worst service so far.

                                        I have made numerous calls and even mailed the customer server people of oyo to delete my other account but none of them seem to be bothered. I think i should have the right the delete a account that i created.

                                        The customer service people are extremely rude and not helpful at all.. I so regret using oyo rooms service.

                                        Please help me delete the account as it extremely urgent.

                                        Item not as described. Oyo should closed the App. App is very misleading. Customer service is very rude and unprofessional, they put me on hold for 12 minutes and not respond me.

                                        OYO hold my 3727/-.

                                        Consumer court should ban the oyo from the market.
