Dear team,

I booked a hotel oyo 5723 hotel crown jaipur. For 8th and 9th and 10th feb

But i face so fierce problem that i had to call police to get rid of this..

I am likely to approach pan india news channel/news paper to share my experience with oyo hotel,

When i approached hotel and entered in room.. I observed that room is dirty, no adequate light... Wash room was dirty including wash basin, broken and unhiegne bath basin,
Bucket was dirty when i asked hotel staff to replace that they simply exchange with other room which was also dirty... There was no air circulation or ventilation i. Room, i though i can tolerate of ac work but that too out of service. Telephone was dirty,
Drinking glass was so dirty that no one can drink water.. So i felt i can't stay here with my 3 year old daughter and any one fall sick if we stay here.

So we politely inform reception that we can't live here we are going as other room was also like same... And i observed hotel staff were not in uniform but with dirty shoes entering room...

But hotel staff did not allow me leave hotel and asked me to pay money...
I was surprised once i have not availed any service rather i was cheated by showing clean picture unlike original one which amount to cheating to customer under consent right.

Then they fought with me, broke my beg and despite looking that my daughter was crying due to hunger after travelling since 5:45am fro. Gurgaon to till 12pm... They were continue to fight,

They manhandle me by calling 5 odd people

Thus forced my to call 100 and i was forced to lodged fir for making me hostage with hotel by their rude staff.

I am really disappointed with such ridiculous exp and surely never recommend any one to go for oyo... Now i am going to media for such poor exp...in my opinion oyo mush de panel such hotel with huge penalty and an apology letter from hotel manager to guest

    Hi team,

    This is the first time i am using oyo rooms facility. Kindly understand my grievance on the below concern.
    1. While cancelling i got a notification as refund amount - nan. How can i understand this?
    2.in the communication mail dropped to me from oyo,

    "since your reservation was already confirmed, you'll be charged a small amout, as we incur costs from the moment you make your booking

    But,

    Cancellation charges : rs. 1633

    Refund amount : rs 0
    "
    But complete amount is not a small amount, at least i should be notified prior with the refund amout.

    It's not at all a customer satisfactory action. How can i lose my hard earned money?

    As per your policy, refund will be granted if we cancel 24 hr prior to the booking?

    But, i booked at feb 12 evening 5 :30 and cancelled at feb 13 noon immediately after 12 and as per your policy, check in time is 12 noon.

    In this case, how can i cancel 24 hr prior to my booking? Its not at all a feasible option. And, also no intimation was given on the refund amount details.

    Kindly explain from your end, and understand my grievance.

      Dear Sir

      I am Tarun Kumar Shah, resident of Delhi, and I booked OYO Rooms, for my stay in Ahmedabad from 10 Feb, 2018 to 12th Feb, 2018.My booking Id is FPXY4301.
      I paid, Rs 5100 per night, to stay here and you people gave me a Dharamshala room to live in, bloody shame on you people and your fraud organisation.If I would have paid the same amount to some other hotel, would have got a 4 star hotel room with premium quality services.To prove that after paying such a huge amount for per day I got low quality breakfast, poor condition of toilets, and a dirty room in a Dharamshala, I am attaching the pictures in this mail.
      You should be ashamed for deceiving the customer, but better you know that I am not going to just say, I will prove it through my actions, if within 2 days I don't get full refund of my amount, I will post all these pictures with my compliant on all social platforms, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, INSTAGRAM.and will surely do a legal case on you for committing fraud against me, and for giving me such poor quality services despite the fact that I paid so much.
      You better don't consider us customers stupid, and I shall give it in newpaper, that you cheat customers, you take such huge room tariffs in advance and give nothing in the form of services.

      Don't consider me like those stupid customers whom you cheat and they don't react to it.My age is 48 years and I am going on business tours since last 20 years, I have stayed in rooms with tariff from Rs 2, 000 to Rs 4, 000 and have always received premium quality services.This was my worst experience as I did a horrendous mistake by booking a room for the first time from OYO Rooms.
      I am sending you my bank account details, and if I don't receive refund of full amount within 2 days, you better watch it out, because I will not stay silent, even though I would have to spend more funds to get my complaint to the ears of public, I will not let others get fooled by you, so better don't think you would get away with this poor treatment to the customer.

      Listen the video of exhaust fan, see the breakfast see the shower picture, is this what a customer expects to get after paying Rs 5, 100 per night tariff to you, I need quick response from your side, otherwise I know as a customer, I can even go to Consumer courts and your organisation's image shall get tarnished .

      I came to visit my family member in hotel alpine tree mahipalpur new delhi
      The receptionist was very rude and asked me to only meet half hour with my family and was making an excuse that this is not allowed in this place
      it felt like he was making a indecent remark on my wife and my family.

        I have booked a hotel at pune on 17th of march. Booking id ref no zdjn8354.
        I have paid the full amount through online to your website.
        But you have mailed me a confirmation that payment to be made at hotel.
        And advance showing 0.00 on that confirmation.
        Hence i request you to generate a fresh receipt that showing the amount has been paid and balance to be paid as nil.

          I am literally getting harassed in front of hotel on road.
          As after booking still they are denying us to check in.
          My wife's health is not well, we came here for her checkup also, we were made to stand on road.
          We are feeling ashamed of ourselves.
          Shame on oyo, it was not expected from you guys.
          From last 1 and half hour we are being harassed and not getting any room.
          I called oyo and they are saying no rooms are available in delhi area.
          I have prebooked the room and not able to get it.

            Hi sir,

            We went to leh-ladhak fom oyo package last year july 2017 and we have not got receipt till now to submit for lta in office for tax exemption. When i sent mail on 9-jan-18 to swati sharma no response and least bothered to help customer care also. From last 1 week, i am calling to supervisor praveen, gaurav and no one is following up properly. Today (6-feb-18) i am calling from 5 pm evening and no one is bothered to give tax recipt. I guess oyo rooms is doing some illegal business thats why they are not giving the recipts to us. I am going to complent fir tommarrow and go to court for illegal business. So that it helps other customers. While booking package they promised to give bill receipts on 4 passengers name. But now they say its not possible. No one knows the procedure properly.

            Hi,

            I have facing issue from very long time. I have done a payment to OYO for a trip rooms bookings. But at that time i faced some issue thats why i hadnt utilized my paid money. Now when i want to update that amount against my bookings. No body want to help. I dont know who will help me.

              I stayed at oyo rooms, moulivakkam, chennai. During 14-16 december, 2017 they provided nice hospitality. On payment of lodging charges, i was told receipt would be sent by mail. However, the emailed receipt did not have signature and gst details. Our accounts needs signed & stamped receipt with gst no. To refund the amount paid by me. Please do the needful.

                  From last 2 3 days i am getting calls from a guy.. Yest night he called me at 12 and keeps on calling ans speaks rubbish... After checking on watsapp i feel he is the guy who was a staff of oyo hotel room in ghatkopar... Till now we have visited hotel blie sea, blue pearl resi and dhruvs taj palace... We often visit there... Approx 3 4 months ago when we visited blue sea hotel, after that i was getting calls from a person of hotel blue sea... Now again it has started... Kidly take some strict actions or else we'll have to file a case against oyo as you have said it is safe and secured

                    I have booked hotel through oyo rooms in mathura on 6-12-17 oyo rooms hotel no. 9135 hotel is good but after check out on 7-12-17 to till date i continously receveing promotional massages for oyo. I told and complaint so many times on their complaint no. And there telecallers always says that sir i appologise this inconvenince and in future you will not get any massages from oyo but they all are liaer irresponsible and still i getting there massages about there offers and due to that my inbox get full and i missed some important massage.
                    Very poor response from oyo and frustrated me a lot.

                      Respected ceo,
                      Myself zuhaib mir. There are multiple complaitns kindly look into this on priority basis and dont need any robot revert.

                      1. When i called u guys for booking they said it's 1500 and i told the advisor on call that in my app it's showing something around 1200 and change for which he replied and said i will book from my end and it will still be the same 1200 so i said go ahead.
                      I reached hotel with my fiance and gave the id proofs and that person at reception asked me to pay 1500 for which i denied and said i said i will pay only.1200 as promised by advisor over the call. So i called ur customer service department some lady answered a call and she denied so i requested kindly listen to a call recording for which she transferred a call to some other department. That person offered a callback within 10 mins so he can listen to the call recording and me and my fiance were standing on the road at the middle of the night hope u understand this point.
                      Finally no one called back so after 30 mins i decided to go inside the room as it was not safe people on the road were passing comments.
                      I paid 1500 1300 card and 200 by cash.
                      Went to room number 106 and slept off after 15 mins ur reception manager is calling me to come down and move the vehicle to different location from the place where he asked me to park.
                      So i went down and some local guys were fully drink and they shouted at me why i parked my car there, i said hotel manager asked me to do for which it hotel manager was not helpful and they tried to physically assault me. Somehow i managed and apologized and moved the vehicle to different location. Went upstairs. I went to washroom in my room my fiance started banging the door i opened the door and she was literally scared to death. We can hear sounds inside the hotel. Some girls in one of the rooms were having sex they were screaming very loud. As i felt it's unsafe and my fiance got scared i decided to vacate the hotel. And leave that place. I went down and left the hotel but before leaving i asked ur hotel manager is this place for people who want to have sex or for family. He apologized so i wrote feedback comment on some feedback sheet as well...

                      If anycase u think i m lying kindly check the cctv footage of the hotel what time i checked in and checked out and in the middle what happened plz ask ur people to check.. Waiting for ur revert

                        We have been charged too much for mumbai hotel which we had the following issues on 19jan at mumbai

                        1. Rooms was not tidy (Clean) when guest checked in
                        2. There was welcome kit (Mineral water, shampoo, soap) tap water was kept in jug, mr. Santhosh said all the hotels provided by oyo will not have all these facility only selective hotels have those, why didnt you give us the option or why didnt you inform this earlier??

                        3. No restaurant, late preparation of dinner and it was served at the room in plates countable and limited

                        4. Breakfast and dinner was decided by mr. Santhosh and hotel manager what guest should have ie just 1 item poori on the first day and upma on second day

                        5. Though i have mentioned to santhosh about the breakfast should be upma/pongal, bread jam, coffee or tea, and got confirmation for the same but hotel management said they can provide only upma which is not worthable or tasteless, then my tour manager ordered for extra dishes on our cost

                        6. We guess oyo rep and the hotel management work for commission and they force us to take those without any choice

                        7. We was committed with 80k for mumbai hotel and paid 107000/- to oyo without single inr pending but the service was minus, it was not a hotel it seem to be the lodge

                        8. Shirdi hotel on oyo showed 1000 inr for mapi plan but we was charged 2200 per person per room

                        9. Overall on paying 48000+107000=155000/- to oyo we had paid extra 25000/- extra

                        10. Rooming list was not shared to hotel before they checkin

                        11. Only 46plates was given for breakfast and dinner and for extra 10 plates we was charged

                        12. Fixed 1 dish was assigned where oyo and hotel decided what guest should eat (I hope oyo or hotel didnt give us these rooms complimentary for deciding what they need to have), we ordered extra dish and they had charged 7000/- extra for those including water bottle

                        13. We was not given proper intimation on food menu and the services oriented, mr. Santhosh was very clear in supporting the hotel for his commission he is not bothered about the guest, we had already paid extra which could be your commissoin, if he had asked me i would have paid him for better service

                        Overall experience with oyo is zero, oyo is not fit to handle a group of guests, oyo rep is not professional and they not fit to select and get the works done at hotel, the mumbai hotel is worth just 20k for 2 nights and we been charged 107000/- which is oyo and team had eaten our money in total working with oyo is worthless and there is no use, only you guys are fit to take 2 or 3 guests maximum, please dont take 4and above you will not be able to handle and you have no proper staffs to coordinate and satisfy the guests.

                        Who is responsible for 25000/- paid extra for room (Only 23rooms given including tour manager) and for breakfast.??? Same mail will be posted in the feedback and public forums for others safety who should not be affected in future.

                        Oyo team called 4 to 5 times and said they will consider to refund the amount but after a week they said they cant refund any amount instead of that they will provide good service next time, do they think we are fools sitting here???

                        I trust this forum, you will get us justification for the issue happened.

                          To whomsoever it may concern:

                          We had booked one room in oyo flagship 376 international airport (Mumbai) for the duration of 2 nights (12 jan - 14 jan 2018). However, on the morning of the day we were supposed to check in, we received a call from oyo, saying we cannot be accommodated in the oyo we had booked, and were asked to suggest an alternate oyo that we would prefer. We suggested oyo 5012 lakeview residency, and our booking was updated. We had stayed in the suggested oyo before.

                          When we checked in to our room (No. 208, if i remember correctly) the same evening, we found the room to be in a very bad state. There was an unpleasant smell in the room. The paint on the walls was chipping off everywhere. The doormat in near the bathroom was wet and dirty. If that wasn’t enough, we saw two cockroaches. Refer to the attached pictures for some of the above. We reached out to the hotel staff for the cockroach problem, and instead of helping us get rid of it, they handed us a can of hit spray to deal with the problem ourselves.

                          We called the oyo helpline for the same, and on their request, the hotel management showed us two alternate rooms. These rooms stank of alcohol and were no better than the one we were put up in. We called the oyo helpline again, and suggested that we be moved to another property. The oyo customer support staff kept us waiting for nearly an hour and a half before they could suggest a solution. The booking prices on the oyo app for the two properties only differed by about inr 1000, but we were told that we’d have to pay inr 4700 to change the booking, and this was after we already made the cancellation request for the oyo we were in. Tired and frustrated, we asked the staff to re-book us on the oyo we were at, and again we were told that there might be an additional charge that we would be required to pay, but they could not tell us how much exactly. After two hours of sitting in an unwelcoming room, we were told that nothing could be done about our situation and that even staying in the same room would cost us an undisclosed amount of money.

                          Finally, after a long wait, the booking reflected that we would have to pay no additional charge, and we gave in and stayed in the same room. We gave appropriate feedback to the oyo captain on checkout.

                          However, i feel there needs to be a compensation on oyo’s part for the troubles we were put through. One, we were moved from the oyo we booked, through no fault of ours. Two, the oyo we were put up in had sub-standard rooms (Even compared to its own in the past) and uncooperative staff. Three, the oyo customer helpline was of zero help to us despite of repeated calls amounting to over two hours, and the fact that we were going to be charged for demanding the comfort of the oyo we had already booked and paid for.

                          I have been a loyal oyo customer with more than 10 bookings in less than a year. I’ve had some delightful experiences for which i have given the feedback you deserve. But, i believe there need to be reparations for the situation i was put in on jan 12.

                            I called almost 30 times to oyo and there stupid customer support is keep on disconnecting my call everytime.

                            I was in the same hotel from last 15 days and i am making the booking through oyo app. By mistake i made a booking for the same day twice and hotel people have charged me for the same. I am keep on calling for modify my booking but hotel staff and oyo is not resolving my issue.

                                I cancelled my Oyo room booking 3 days prior to the scheduled stay.
                                The Oyo website states that there is 100% refund on cancellation prior to 12 hours of scheduled check jn.
                                Now the Oyo customer care representatives are talking about separate hotel policies.
                                I have been given 0% refund on my booking. Why should I book from Oyo in future and not use independent hotel websites when even the OyO room websites is not reliable.

                                  I had very terrible experience with oyo homes booking for goa. My booking id otgr0613, i had bboked this property 3 months before on 10th oct 2017 for 18 jan 2018 to 20 jan 2018 dates and property name is "oyo 9286 goan heritage 2 bhk villa calangute". This property booking confirmed and paid all amount i. E rs 8292 for 6 members on 10th oct 2017. On 18-jan-2018 morning i have received hotel details and contact person name details for this property. I have replied back saying we will reach in night around 11 pm to 12'c.
                                  Same day after noon i got one call from oyo saying there is problem with maintenance with property "oyo 9286 goan heritage 2 bhk villa calangute", so need to do the changes in the property. I said we have booked 3months ago for property and morning also team confirmed all details. How come now we can change the property. Lot discussion happen and finally they promised to give room in calangute. New property details shared by them "oyo home 10917 2bhk calangute beach". On 18-jan-2018 night after reaching goa called the property captain and asked about direction. By taxi we have started for said direction by captain. We were searching for property in saligao and half an hour roamed on same road where the property is located but didnt find. There is no board at all, no lights nothing and its in-front of cemetery. We didnt know the property is located at this place, its very remote area there is no connectivity only. At this property no one was located, only our family were there. We had discussion with oyo team for room change to same place where we booked that time we got to know that earlier property which we booked its occupied by some other people. We had very bad experience at "oyo home 10917 2bhk calangute beach". Some how we spent the night and morning they told the will settle to some other property but no use. They were asking to pay extra money to change the room.

                                    I'd like to mention i'm a little disappointed with oyo rooms in ghaziabad. I booked a room with oyo yesterday for the very first time with hotel city garden at gt road, ghaziabad and i enjoyed my stay. But due to some discomfort i didn't want to extend my stay there so i chose to book other oyo room for 2 in same locality. I wanted a room for 2, my partner and i booked 3 oyo rooms via oyo app and had to cancel our booking because we denied entry there. I'm complaining about hotel atithi at choti bazaria, hotel redbury at ambedkar road and oyo flagship hotel opulent mall, all three hotels are listed in oyorooms.com and app and located in ghaziabad. It all happened because we didn't mention our religion at the time of online booking? They should include an option of mentioning religion in their app and website to save time and unnecessary trouble. My partner booked 3 hotels today with his oyo id and had to cancel all 3 bookings one by one after denying entry and for which we didn't get any refund and cashback of oyo money and discount. We had valid id proofs and we did thoroughly checked the hotel policies before confirming our booking. They denied our stay mainly because my partner and i don't belong to same religion. The receptionist at one hotel laughed with other staff in our faces and made indecent comments and accussed us for so called "love jihad", he said those inappropriate words himself. Wow! Wonderful! We have seen enough of the proliferation of several absurd political conspiracies about hindu-muslim lovers. This didn't stop there. We got similar reaction from next oyo, finally the third one showed some decency and denied humbly mentioning the reason that is not belonging to same religion. This is what we get in return for trusting a brand name.. Humiliation and defamatory comments hurting our religious sentiments. We wanted to spend some quality time together. But the hotel staff was very rude. Like we are doing something very wrong. It was like a nightmare. Like we had committed a sin. We needed a room, they didn't have to be judgemental. And i'd also like to mention my partner is visiting me for the first time from the state of jammu and kashmir, inspite of having a valid id proof the hotel staff frowned at him, gave unpleasant suspicious looks and made racist and communal comments too!! My partner denied his rights and his identity was quentioned just because he is muslim and from that particular part of the country. They should include this as well in their guest policies. It seems oyo hotels in ghaziabad have forgotten the age-old principle of 'atithi devo bhava (Guest is equivalent to god)'. This is very humiliating and bitter experience. I got a call from their customer care department regarding the same and they apologized to us for not providing services as expected. But the damage was done. I'm dissatisfied with their services because i had high hopes reading reviews about oyo online and i made oyo my top choice for staying because i relied upon their claim of well trained staff and top class customer service. I feel cheated for blindly trusting those words. I heard a few bad reviews from my friends and acquaintances but i want to try by myself. I couldn't agree more with them until now that i had my personal experience with oyo. I chose oyo because of their reputation and claim for trusted and safe hotels. I'm not going to recommend any of my friends to chose oyo again. I can understand they are more concerned about "our safety" rather than the fear of local moral police, despite the absence of any law that forbids two consenting adults regardless of their religion from sharing a hotel room moral police are known to raid the premises of hotels that accommodate interfaith couples on the pretext of going after ‘love jihad-like activities’. Legally, the police have no grounds on which to conduct these raids. But if this is the case they should have at least mention this criteria in their hotel policies or restrictions on app and website as well. And oyo app doesn't provide any contact information to reach the hotel directly before staying. I had to take help from google to get their numbers. We were wandering on roads looking for just one oyo that doesn't have such stupid policy. As a law abinding citizen of india i know nothing is greater than national security and i understand that they were just doing their jobs. I also know my rights and i can sue oyo and those 3 hotels for violation of the fundamental rights given under the constitution of india. Their communal despising face revealed to us. I can drag oyo to consumer court for misinterpretation of their misleading and discriminating policies. It causes a lot of trouble to both o[censored]s. It was my first experience with oyo and i'm pretty much done with oyo. I wasn't expecting such rude and hostile attitude, poor customer service and unprofessional behaviour. I want to share my feedback with others to help them chose a better hotel. I hope authorised persons at oyo take such issue very seriously and act accordingly. And i hope nobody have to face such religious intolerance and discrimination in future. I'm attaching a link of their official website relevant to my grievance.

                                      Hi

                                      I booked a room through oyo in le tara residency, dwarka sector 12, new delhi but the hotel staff told me to cancel the booking and get the room from them at rs 100 cheaper at similar facilities and later misbehaved. Kindly ban these hotels who are getting brand name of oyo and doing cheap stuff. Also look into staff behavior too. They were literally goons

                                        I lost my room key of the room 105 of the hotel pride homes-phg (No. 6 & 7 dodennakundi, behind total mall bangalore 560037- karnataka - india) on 9th january, 2018. While checking out (On 11th january, 2018) the receptionist asked me to submit an amount of rs. 500 which they promised to return once they got back the key. I provided them with the number of the uber driver of the cab in which i left my key. Due to not being familiar with kannada language i requested the staff to contact the driver for the key. I also took a written note from the receptionist for the same.in case the hotel says that they did not get the keys i personally believe that charging rs 500 for making a duplicate key is too much and does not shows a professionalism on the behalf of such a renowned hotel chain. I would like you to look into the process and revert back at the earliest.

                                        I have booked a room through OYO rooms at Hotel Blue Ocean, F53, Kailash Industrial Complex, mumbai from 04-12-17 to 06-12-17 for which the tax invoice is not submitted to us and No physical bill was submitted to us by hotel.

                                        My company asked me to submit the original bill to them for claim but oyo room has denied to provide us the same.
