Hello, my name is neijalam misao and i have booked room (Oyo - 8598) with booking id zupa2978 for hotel ocean heritage at kanyakumari, tamil nadu on 26/12/2017 at 0114 hrs i. E. 1.14 am but the oyo app from which i booked the room took check-in date as 25/12/2017 and check-out date 26/12/2017 by default and my booking was confirmed after making payment of rs.4688/- through credit card. When i contacted the said hotel authorities, they said that the booking was cancelled due to non-reporting at the hotel on 25/12/2017.
Since my booking for above oyo was done on 26/12/2017 at 1.14am, how can i check-in on 25/12/2017 i. E. Before the booking date? How is it possible? When this is not possible then why your (Oyo) system confirmed my booking on 25/12/2017 when room was booked on 26/12/2017 at 1.14 am? Hence the incorrect booking should have been turned down/cancelled automatically by the system but it functioned the other way which caused financial loss and mental agony to me.
I promptly took up the matter with oyo customer care on 26/12/2017 itself as hotel authorities cancelled by booking but the customer care representative was very impractical and miserably failed to understand and address my grievance/problem. Since it is none of my fault for the booking as your system did not function properly at the time of booking of oyo, i request/demand refund of rs.4688/- back to my credit card immediately as i never expected such shortcoming in the oyo rooms and will appreciate if my grievance/problem is resolved expeditiously.

    So, i have been with oyo from a long time. And it's really good to be a customer of oyo. And specially from last 4 days i have been staying in different oyo's in gurgaon and the experience was really good as the price of the room was also very cheap, it was around 600 to 800. Today i needed a better room as comparable to the old one so i thought of booking a room of little higher price so that i can get some extra services. So i looked for a hotel which was costing me 1000 and it was quite amazing as per the pictures which were there on the website. I came to this hotel this morning and when the receptionist showed me the the room it was totally different with the pictures which i saw on the website so i told the receptionist guy that it is really not good i'm going to file a complain on your hotel name's as it is laying a bad impact on oyo and the moment i said this he got scared and his accent changed totally and he said "okay please hold for 15 minutes i will get you the exact room which you saw on the oyo app", i said, "fine i can wait as long as i can get a perfect room for myself. Then after 20 minutes he sent me to a room which was exactly like the room which i saw on the app and i got happy and i paid the amount as well via my debit card.
    But then when i came in the room i saw that there are 5 lights in the room which is not working and 6 switches which is totally broken as if someone stabbed a knife on it and the smell of the the room is horrible. And the flush of the wc is not working which is quite annoying for me. I called on the oyo helpline number and i talked with 4 different people who assured me that they will transfer me to the nearest hotel to my location within 1 hour and they promised me about a call back which i was suppose to get within half and hour and that also which i didn't get. So in the end i decided of claiming a complain on this website and in social network as well so that people can know the real fact of oyo and get known with the truth that what people shows on website that it totally fake.

      We three friends booked an oyo room for three people pmlo5076 in newtown kolkata in name of aditi roy. We contacted oyo captain regarding booking. We were one girl two boys office colleagues. The hotel receptionist denied our entry and oyo captain denied to listen to our problem and even customer care executive denied regarding hotel booking and said that only people with blood relations are allowed for three adult booking. It was nowhere mentioned in oyo room policies while making booking and even nobody intimated us immediately after booking. Straight forward we are taking this issue to consumer court. Oyo you are abig cheater nothing else. You and your executives are cheaters.

      It was midnight and we have to just wander on the roads whole night due to your carelessness.

      Thanks you have to face consequences for this.

        We have booked 2 rooms for 6 persons for 26th and 27th of dec 2017. The booking was made through oyo. The booking was confirmed. When we reached the hotel at 10 pm on 26th, then the hotel staff tried to check us in one room with 4 beds. When we refused to accept that, because we were two families with 6 adults, hotel staff informed us that due to technical problem, they had rented out excess rooms.

        We were offered that we should stay in another hotel for a day, i. E. On 26th; and we will be given accommodation on 27th in this hotel. Since it was almost midnight, we accepted the proposal.

        We were accommodated in a nearby hotel, sri krishna residency. The rooms were stinking. However we stayed there as there were no other option.

        Next day, we were informed that periyar birds nido is not available even on 27th. We were told that we should stay in sri krishna residency on 27th too. Since the condition of the rooms were pathetic and unhygienic, we changed our plans and curtailed our stay in the city by 1 day and left.

        Our overall experience was:
        1. Staff of periyar birds nido are rude and unprofessional.
        2. Oyo hasn't got control over the property and it is not sure that you will get the accommodation, which you have booked. Then the hotel staff tried to check us in one room with 4 beds. When we refused to accept that, because we were two families with 6 adults, hotel staff informed us that due to technical problem, they had rented out excess rooms.

        We contacted oyo customer care. They talked to hotel staff but to no avail.

        We were offered that we should stay in another hotel for a day, i. E. On 26th; and we will be given accommodation on 27th in this hotel. Since it was almost midnight, we accepted the proposal.

          Dear sir/ mam
          1) refer telecommunication with nitin (Operation), shirshir (Operation), kapil and harshvardhan between 7th december to 22nd december wherein we had booked a hotel named the kingdom at havelock island, from 7th december to 9th december.
          2) i had informed mr harshvardhan before booking that the reviews of this hotel is bad so you are requested to provide someother resort/hotel.
          3) mr. Harshvardhan assured us that this is the best property in havelock island and there will not be any issue.
          4) on his assurance we paid the sum of 32 thousand and six hundred for two rooms and transportation.
          5) on 7th december 2017 we went to hotel the kingdom where we found following issues
          A) rooms were stinking
          B) no arrangement of hot water
          C) flush were not working in the bathrooms.
          D) stains on bedsheet.
          6) we informed the manager about the state of the room. After finding the condition of the room, he showed us other rooms which were far more worse than the rooms we were offered.
          7) the bathroom was stinking so badly that even the manager refused to go inside. Even the bellboy was himself agreed that the rooms were not in state to live in.
          8) after that we called up “oyo customer service” and informed about the conditions of rooms offered to us which were not worth living therefore we are checking out and please refund the amount.
          9) since 7th december 2017 customer service told us that we are processing your case for refund but till date it has not been refunded.
          10) mr harshvardhan has spoken rudely to me. He does not know how to talk to the lady.
          11) being a regular customer of “oyo”. I have high regards for the functioning of oyo.
          12) but it is a shame that how some of the staff of oyo is defaming oyo.
          13) it is humble request to you to kindly refund an amount of 32 thousand as soon as possible.
          14) waiting for positive and quick reply.

            Terrible condition of common area since construction is going on in the building. Very poor condition of cleanliness. No lifts available so difficult for elderly people. Hotel food in terrible; found worms in the mouth freshners. Light switches are not all in working condition, tv remote batteries are not checked to be working. Overall poor experience. Stayed from dec 28 to dec 31 2017.

            Continuing to stay in the hotel as i update the comments. We came back today after an wntire day out, just to find that the rooms have not been cleaned, even though we put the 'clean my room' board on the door. The manager mr. Smrutiranjan Satpathy, who says he has 10 yrs exp. says we did not give the keys so no cleaning was done. He knows no concept of master key. Such lame excuses for an OYO CERTIFIED hotel - oyo no. 3599

              I booked an ac room for 3 from oyo. The amount was 4500 per night. I have booked much better hotels at a cheaper price and this amount could have given me a 3 star deluxe room. But what i got was a 10×10 room with jammed basin, no space at all for luggage, small bed and no assistance from the hotel. They didn't even have rooms for drivers which was a shock for me as all other hotels do. At such a high price, i expected it to be good but it was not even close. Highly disappointed 0/10.

                I have booked two rooms for 5 guest in oyo 8731 bell flower with booking id: snmw8795. Check-in - 27th dec'17. Check-out - 28th dec'17
                Address - governor salai road, thettukkal, ooty
                Landmark - jss interntional school. Full payment was done while booking through credit card. When the customer reach the hotel for check in, the hotel manager told the customer that all the rooms are sold out and you have to contact oyo or make alternate arrangements.

                  Since we checked in hotel arvi on sat 23rd dec, there has been no power in this hotel and staff giving reasons which they donot seem to be sure off. We had to manage with cold water, no lift.
                  Come evening, initially no power, then they seem to put gen set on and power came back. However when we went to sleep, power went off and we struggled and just could not sleep. I called up hotel and then oyo at 3 am to check and log complaint.

                  Finally power came around 6.30 with gen set. We are just wondering, why no power when whole area had power?
                  If hotel was dependent on gen set, why was it put off causing so much inconvenience?
                  Why operate such hotel when there is no power?
                  Is customer safety and convenience of no value?

                    Hello,

                    I had booking for 2 days in jodhpur in the indra inn with group of 11 people including 2 children. I trusted oyorooms as i had booked rooms earlier and never faced any issue. But when i checked in i found beddings were used, no soap/toothpaste/tea/coffee pouch, toilets not maintained or usable and so on. We complained oyorooms with case id 3996320, called 5 times they said you'll get call from us but we never got response from them. It really painful like how oyo is playing with loyal customers. I dont know if this posting would do anything but atleast someone would get help from this.

                        Hi this was our first time with oyo in udaipur. We were staying at hotel deep palace. I was with my old in laws and 3 small kids. The linen was dirty. Staff member used the lift with us irrespective of seeing my mother in law was waiting to go to room. The linen had stains of blood lipstick... I agree for price i can't expect five star but least it has to b clean... Towels i think we're being used since 10 years. This hotel is ruining your reputation... Please look into this to avoid inconvenience for others

                          My father got heart attack on 21/12/17. Due to this i tried for
                          Cancellation of my bookings and also talked customer service. But no
                          Cancellation is done and no refund was done. At least on medical reasons
                          Tkt cancel and refund will be allowed.
                          Kindly do needful so that i can have some money back which also help in
                          Medical treatment.

                            I am sohil babbar, I had payed Rs 893/- throught my ICICI debit card on 10th November for booking a room in hyderabad through Oyo app Booking Id XEZV4107 at hotel majestic international. Later when i reached the hotel, oyo had not confirmed the payment, I was in touch with the oyo customer service and Repationship team. They said the amount was not received even tough the amount was debited from my account and confirmed by my bank. I payed the whole amount again during checking out of hotel and was assured of the refund. My bank has confirmed Oyo withdrawing the amount and have filed a case against the merchant OYO. Its been over 1 month and my money has not received. Soon i am going to file a consumer case against oyo for pathetic service and fraud.

                              I and my partner both booked couple room through OYO. As previously we got good experience with OYO, therefore we decided to book again for Kolkata. But this time it was totally intolerable.
                              We booked hotel referring to the pictures provided of the hotel. But when we reached that hotel we found that no such room actually exists there. Even the manager told us that the rooms are not of this hotel. It was kind of harassment as it was late by 11 pm. So we called OYO team to arrange another hotel nearby urgently.
                              As a service organizations, you should not mislead to customer by showing fake pictures and rates. I'm afraid of booking next time.

                                  This is with regards to my booking, i just wanna say it was waste of my money as no wifi, no geyser and used bed sheet provided to me nothing is upto mark as commitment given by oyo rooms. I can provide you pics if you want . Even when i come from my exam and request for my breakfast as it is in my booking they said you are late . I told them that please provide me wifi for study but they don’t they only said that we will let you know when issue resolved

                                    i booked room in goa from OYO, according to image room was very nice and they charged me around 1500/-INR. but when i reached to the hotel, they gave me different room.
                                    i reached in night and i was with my family so couldn't take chance and i stayed in that room.
                                    Room was different and it was very dirty with leakage in bathroom and no place to sleep, bed was broken and they didn't provide breakfast also.
                                    The soap and shampoo they given was used.
                                    Now Oyo is not refunding my money back
                                    i have taken the image of that room which is attached below.

                                      Sir i have booked a room in gem 92 hotel in delhi and had opted for early sun rise check in but at the time of checkin the manager denied the booking and said we cant check in before 12pm and we have to wait for regular check in time. When i made a call to oyo rooms customer care, the representative told me i haven't made early sunrise check in and when the call was transfered to senior team he accpeted that the charge was charged for early check in and they had promiced me for early check in and its not all about refund.
