I stayed in ooty space4 resort (Oyo) service was very bad. All the person who was in service was on training. Not even a single person was there who was not in training period

Breakfast was also bad. We had a group of person and each time we had to wait for the things to serve. Only 3 items were there
1. Poori and bhaji
2. Semiya uppuma
3. Kellogs

Tea was served in a very small disposable glass

Restaurant place was not seen good with no table mat/cover

In ooty weather is cold all the time and no hot water was provided. They provided hot water from 7am to 10am and 7 pm to 10pm. So if a person comes after 10 pm after visiting tourist place they had to bath in cold water

Rooms were not maintained well. Step light was in hanging condition sofa had no covers. Cow dung was also seen in front of room

Wifi was very limited inside said lobby.

    I booked a room in oyo rooms 313 koramangala 100ft ring road on 8th july 2017. I went for check in at around 9:45 am and the receptionist told me that you have to pay 30% extra at this point of time and the rooms are available. Up to this point it was fine but the receptionist told me to come back at 10:30 am because at 10:30 am i did not had to pay extra charges. Now if i go by the rules of oyo rooms if i check in at 10 am or after 10 am it is not chargeable. At that point of time i did know this rule and the receptionist also provided me with wrong information due to which i had to wait for around 45-50 mins for the room. Now my concern is that if the receptionist was not sure than i should not be provided with the wrong information and i had to face certain problems because of it. Now i want some actions to be taken because it was because of them i had to wait for a long time.
    Apart from this i have a query "suppose a room is booked for 2 or 3 people so is it necessary that all the 2 or 3 people have to show their id proof or id proof of 1 person is enough?"
    I want an answer for my complaint as well as the query as soon as possible.

      Sir i bm gujrati booked hotel via oyo rooms in shimla for 3 days. Hotel provided by oyo rooms to me was golden nest when i reached there i was given room in which there were three bed were on the floor and oyo rooms charged 5000 for each day so i didn't checked in and tried contacting oyo room but when i failed i leaved hotel after 15 min and registered complaint for returning money.
      But today i got cal from oyo rooms official namely vinay that you have already checked in the hotel and stayed for 3 days this type of rediculous behavi5was unexpected from this type of mnc
      I just want to know that you will return money or not if not i will fill case against you in consumer forum of harassment and cheating...

        The location of hotel gave us a shock, as it ws inside a shopping complex. Though the hotel staff ws cooperative, but their hospitality ws lost in d stinky n congested environment. The experience worsened when coincidently we saw soiled blanket. In morning, d breakfast ws claimed to b complementry but we paid it by our health as both o[censored]s had upset digestion thru out d day.

          Hi, myself dr rajat dogra( not sharma ) . I had done bookings with oyo on 9th june 2017 for a trip to mussorie on 30th june check in and 2nd july checkout.
          On reaching the property i was told that my bookings have already been cancelled as my check in dates did not tally with the information provided by oyo to the property owner. As per his information we were supposed to chek in on 28th june and check out on 30th june.
          I tried to call the oyo person mr dinesh from chandigarh but due to no signals i could not contact that person.

          After 45 minutes of mental harassment we were provided three rooms which were not oyo rooms.

          Rooms were on the ground floor with closed backyard. Only one room had balcony. Rooms were small in size, as promised were bigger rooms. And construction at night was being done on the ground floor because of what we could not even sleep properly.

          I made so many complaints on call after coming back but no one responded appropriately.

          I would request everyone who can see this mail:

          please please please do not do bookings with oyo. They are terrible in services. My complaint number in oyo is 2126789. My contact number is [protected].

          I want my full refund of 18000 rs because of ;
          1. Lack of services as per commitment
          2. Mental harrasment
          3. Negligence in reviewing my case.
          4. Not attending my feedback calls properly.

          i have recieved a call from oyo stating that they are not going to refund my money. they claim that they have done their investigation. can anyone explain to me these points:

          1. how can an investigation team investigate the case without even talking to the complainant i.e me even once??
          2. if my money cannot be refunded then would sorry for the inconvenience is enough??
          3. how my booking dates were changed from the dates i had to check in and out as per oyo??
          4. why did i pay 18000 rs for the accomodation which i did not get at all??
          5. if i required smaller rooms for my family then why did not i opt for a budget hotel with less tariff??
          6. last but not the least what compensation can be given for the mental harrasment i have been facing till date??

          two people Mr Dinesh from chandigarh and Mr ashish from uttaranchal are culprits in my case and they are not being mentioned anywhere.

          Its a humble request to kindly acknowledge my problem as no satisfactory reply is coming from oyo or else i will need to step up to consumer court for further verification

              Hi,

              I need to lodge a complain against the service provided by oyo guys. It is highly intolerable and i am really disappointed by the service provided by you. This hotel.

              Earlier i have done the booking with id - docl3601 & yhvj6051.

              We are total 13 guests and we have done the booking 2 months back only so that it will not create any chaos at the end.

              Yesterday they have cancelled our booking and due to which we have faced so many problems. We need to check in as we are coming from ranchi and at the night hope you guys can understand we have ladies and children.

              At the night where we should go?

              Even after that we have paid extra amount by talking to your customer care and they have availed the room in another property with the booking id "vpdt2978". This is the first inconvenience we have faced.

              Secondly, when we came to next property they have provided some rooms in one property and some rooms in another property. We wants to stay near by then what is the use of doing bulk booking? At the night all were tied and how you guys expects that we have to roam here n there with our luggage's. Nobody was there to assist us and carry our luggage.

              We came there to enjoy the aura of city not only moving our luggage from here to there. Again i am saying i am highly disappointed by the service provided by oyo.

              Please let me know the resolutions.

                It is to inform you that I booked a hotel from Oyo app with booking ID: SZKB1798, with check in date from[protected] to[protected]. As soon as I reached the spot, I found the whole place to be out of order. My issues were:

                1. Entry of the hotel was messed up and whole outlook was like of a post wedding mess rather than being a minimally attractive one.
                2. Rooms were not clean and not matching with the photographs mentioned in the oyo app. The matching ones were presented to me with a luxurious tag and they asked for a higher price for the same and mentioned that these rooms are not under oyo authority.
                3. Lifts were not working properly.
                4. Unprofessional housing staff with safety concerns.
                5. Around 11.58 am, I gave first call to oyo to register my complaint and provide me with an alternative. But even after 8 hours of booking, i recieved no support from oyo team except 'we are working for your problem' tagline. Even after 8 hours, i was told that room has been cleaned up, you can now check in, by Mrs. Kusum. This was not even close to a basic common sense because by that time, I already checked into some other place with the help of my friend.
                6. And till date, no resolution has been provided by the Oyo.
                Now i realize, that its happening with a hugh no. of people and oyo is simply making fool out of them. I demand my full refund and no crap apart from that. I was denied of an alternative and support from oyo and i suffered because of your worst customer support. I criticize oyo for being unprofessional and foe the most low grade service and support. I have lodged my complaint with Consumer helpline and will do the physical registration of the same, as soon as i get free and you will face the consequences of looting the general public, very soon.

                  Recently i had most worst experience with oyo room while i was visiting goa with my family. I booked a room on zinho's beach resort (Oyo room), once i went there they provided me another room at another hotel saying that is their hotel only. The room provided was surrounded by plastic and no air was passing in the room, no one can stay in the room. Moreover the room was situated in front of jungle like place, at night anyone will fear. They had not provided any breakfast although they promised in oyo app.

                    I booked 2 rooms in risikesh on 25 june 2017 but when i contact the hotel authority they said they do not have rooms. I contact customer care and they assured me that they will arrange something but after 2 hours no solution was there. After that in hurry i booked another guest house personally and said customer care executive to cancel the booking but they didn't cancel the booking even they did not initiated the refund. What is this i did not get the accomodation as well i did not get my money back. This was horrible experience with oyo. I am ready to pay cancellation charge but my pending money should be refunded. Please refund my amount.

                      I booked a triple occupancy room in Oyo flagship property 376 at International Airport Andheri East 20th over 21st June. I would like to alert potential customers about the horrible experience my family had to undergo. Except that the property is closer to both the airports in Mumbai, there is no one positive aspect that would be a consideration for selecting this property. The minus points are:
                      - very bad maintenance of the property overall
                      - we had to change 4 rooms due to stink from the bed covers
                      - dirty towels in half white colour
                      - dirty floors
                      They promised to serve tea at 4 am since we were not taking breakfast but no one was available to honour this promise. We spent 3 hours changing rooms from 701 ( lights were not working and no water in toilet) to 101( stinking room with dirty floors) to 102 (again a dirty room being cleaned up for our stay with with very strong smelling perfume used to clean the floor making it impossible to occupy) to finally 201. This was a better room but can accommodate only 2 pax. They squeezed in the 3rd bed and we had finally settle for this since it was already 11 pm in the night and we had to leave at 4 am next morning. So, for just a 5 hour stay we had to pay Rs.3600/-. When I complained to them, all that they could offer was an Apology.. nothing more. Just before this, I had stayed in their flagship property in chembur for 4 consecutive days and had no complaints. I want Oyo to refund me the rent that they had taken from me and i would like to post this on various sites to alert customers so that they can avoid booking this property.

                        I booked a hotel room few days back for 4 days through oyo. I opted for payment on arrival. Today i thought that i must view some review before confirming my stay at that hotel.
                        But what i see is totally different from the polished website of oyo rooms.
                        Soo much complaint and in response oyo has only one thing to say
                        "we're extremely sorry to know that you had a bad experience with us. This is not what we want our guests to go through."
                        After reading complaints, even i felt that i have been cheated. I wasted my time, almost 1 hour to confirm my booking and choosing place of my interest.
                        But thanks to god that no money was spend.
                        Thanks to all unsatisfied customers who opened my eye before paying my charges.
                        I'll be visiting that hotel but not through oyo and if, facility and charges remains the same, i'll again write on that otherwise i'll opt for other hotel. And in this case case also i'll share my experience.
                        Cheaters like oyo should not be encouraged.

                          Very poor experience with oyo. We were 20 family members booked with oyo hotel in mumbai, booking id iexz8309 hotel plaza 484 17th and 18 june. We booked 7 rooms with single bed and extra bed. As per picture shown in oyo website was very nice bed rooms, but in actual it was very small confined room, room have very narrow space, somehow extra bed adjusted.

                          Have reported to oyo customer assistance by multiple times to change the rooms or cancle booked, but they ignored and forced me to stay with the condition.

                            Oyo have worst services and cheated us.
                            Very poor experience with oyo
                            We were 20 family members booked with oyo hotel in mumbai, booking id iexz8309 hotel planet plaza 17th to 18th june. We booked 7 rooms with double bed and extra bed. As per picture it was shown in oyo website was very nice bed rooms, but in actual it was very small confined room, room had very narrow space that even extra bed cannot be put up in the space.

                            Have reported to oyo customer assistance by multiple times to change the room or cancel the booked, but not a single response is received from the oyo help desk even after 48 hours of registration of complaint. And in fact they have snatched our money by not refunding for one reason or another best known to them.

                            My experience was really pathetic. I would not suggest a single person to book hotels by way of oyo. Oyo services is really very deplorable.

                            Oyo is not trustworthy means to go for booking. Very bad experience. Waiting for call from the oyo help desk.

                              On 10th june 2017, i contacted toll free number of oyo rooms at around 10:00 pm, while i was in dharmshala. Because of network issues, i was having problem accessing the internet.

                              Over phone, i had specifically informed the representative of oyo rooms that i am traveling with my family including my father who is 87 years old.in that perspective, i would need three rooms to accommodate my family consisting of elderly persons and kids.in total there were 6 adults and two kids. Since i was traveling for vacations, i would except clean and hygienic rooms with comfortable beds and clean linen including proper bath and toilet.

                              The representative of oyo rooms extended the promise that oyo follows a minimum standard expectation policy, where the rooms are of a particular standard, with comfortable beds (Spring mattresses), clean linen and the hotel partner would be of a good quality and location. The assurance was that the family would enjoy the stay and my father would not have any problem with the facilities provided by the partner hotel. While conversation, i was suggested to book premium rooms and to raise by budget. I was informed that the premium room (Inclusive of break fast) would cost me rs. 5621/- per room per night. The total amount for three rooms for two nights was rs. 33726/-. When i requested for discount as the same was getting out of my budget, i was induced by offering a discount of rs. 8769/-. The total amount for three rooms for two nights between 12.06.2017 (Check in) to 14.06.2017 (Check out) for six adults and two kids was informed to be rs. 24957/-.

                              Since i was in dharmshala and there was internet constraint, i informed that the payment through net banking or debit card may not be possible and i can pay at the partner hotel. To this suggestion the representative again reassured that i need not worry about the quality and the standard of the rooms to be supplied by oyo as before entering into partnership, prior verification and quality check is done. I was also advised to make payment within 12 hours to confirm or the booking would be canceled.

                              I was sent a text message with booking id qnyj8745 at 10:15 pm informing me that my booking is for oyo rooms 032 gandhi chowk, hotel royal regency 032, baloon cantt. Road, dalhousie. The details of charges were also set out in the said attachment.in that attachment the terms did not show that the booking would be non refundable.

                              Induced by the representations i made payment of rs. 24957/- at around 10:30 pm. The booking made by me was confirmed by a text message.

                              On 12.06.2017, when i reached the partner hotel of oyo, named hotel royal regency, i was completely taken aback that the hotel was under construction and renovation and had no reception. The staircase was broken and had no railing which would facilitate my elderly parents and my kids to take the stairs. One person introducing himself as lovely walia, and kshitij walia were the owners of the property asked me to produce the oyo confirmation receipt.in the meanwhile they were attending other people, informing that the room rates were rs. 1650/- per night. The said customers were trying to negotiate that the room being offered are wet and the room sizes were also small and therefore seeking discount.

                              Realising that we were still standing, they instructed the boy to show the rooms. I was informed that we have been allotted 306, 307 & 308. When i informed them about my parents, they offered to accommodate my family in the first floor and suggested that we may take room no. 101, 102 & 103.

                              When i went to check out the rooms, i was completely surprised to see that the rooms were dinjy, without any space. The walls were wet and smelling. The linen quality was extremely bad. The bathroom size was very small (4x4 feet). One of the walls was nailed with plastic sheets and the mattress was of extremely low quality. The mattress of all the rooms were wet and the carpet was also wet.in totality the rooms were unhygienic and were of substandard quality.

                              The representations made by oyo turned out to be false. I spoke to the two people, who claimed to be the owners and expressed that these are the rooms i. E. Available and because payment has been made to oyo, i should sort out the issue with oyo.

                              I had spoken to the various representatives of oyo and they also spoke to the assumed owners and promised me to sort out the inconvenience. I had clearly informed oyo that i would not check in into royal regency, when i was told that the booking is non refundable. I informed the manager that the non refundable issue would arise when the guest has failed to check in.in this case there is a refusal to check in because of the substandard quality of rooms being offered for the money paid on the representations made by oyo, which on physical verification has turned out to be false. This would tantamount to cheating, apart from unfair trade practice.

                              During conversation with the representative of oyo, shri lovely walia informed oyo representative that the complaints may be correct and is below expectation of the customer but it is for oyo to sort out the issue because they can offer what they have and they are governed by their own contract with oyo. He also apprised that one of the guest of oyo who had checked in at 02:00 am (Night) of 12.06.2017, having booking for three days, preferred to check out at 11:00 am on the same day. Why he checked out is known to oyo and he cannot insist the guests to stay.

                              When there was no resolution to the complaints and my family was waiting in the parking for two hours, i informed that the booking be canceled and refund be made. At 04:00 pm i checked in to the adjacent hotel at bear valley resort at baloon cant road, dalhousie. The tariff offered was rs. 4000/- per room per night. I booked three rooms for my family.

                              At around 06:30 pm, one mr. Sanjeev kumar, claiming himself to be team manager for customer satisfaction contacted me to verify as to whether i have checked in at another hotel. After confirmation, i informed him that the resolution can only be by refund or by accommodating me for two days in some other partner hotel where the facility is of standard quality. He promised me to get back after half an hour. He called at around 07:30 pm on 12.06.2017, informing that if i raise my budget slightly more, i would be given accommodation for two nights with check in on 13.06.2017 and check out on 15.06.2017. This offer was not acceptable to me as i was not ready to make any further payments for oyo booking. He then suggested a issuance of credit note for the amount paid, which can be availed in future but money would not be refunded. I told him to confirm booking, to which he promised to call back by 08:00 pm. However, no call was received till 11:30 am of 13.06.2017.

                              On 13.06.2017, one ms radhika malik, claiming to be guest experience manager after extending apologies for the inconvenience, informed that she is trying to resolve the issue of refund. I had clearly informed that in case i don’t get any resolution by 12:00 noon, i cannot accept any other offer but refund of the total amount. I also informed her about the harassment occasioned to me and the offer made by her team mate shri sanjeev kumar the previous day.
                              At around 05:00 pm, ms radhika malik called to inform that the policy of the company does not permit any refund as the booking receipt after payment made, which has been mailed clearly reflect that the booking is non refundable. I requested her to send a email communication setting the grounds and the policy terms and the refusal by the company to make any refund. I apprised her that the booking has already been canceled at 02:00 pm and a message has been sent to me already.in these circumstances, she promised that she will discuss further with her team.
                              At around 07:00 pm, when i tried to contact because of an email communication informing that oyo has possibly failed to connect over telephone, i did not receive any response. As such i sent an email communication in brief setting out the reasons for my refusal to avail the booking requesting for refund.

                              On 14.06.2017, i travel to amritsar. There was no communication from oyo.
                              On 15.06.2017, somebody from oyo called up to resolve the issue and again trying to suggest that since the booking is non refundable as per company policy, no refund is possible. When i told them that the refund was imminent because the present case is not of failure to avail the booking but is a case of refusal to avail, and the facility provided was contrary to representations, this would amount to a clear case of cheating because oyo induced me to part with money on the basis of misrepresentation and have caused wrongful loss to me and has made wrongful gain for itself. The directors and the managing officials would be liable for punishment for cheating. Again no mail was sent and over telephone it was informed that the representative of oyo would get back to me after discussing it internally.

                              On 19.06.2017, one manager, who did not divulge his name, offered over telephone to refund 50% of the amount and put an end to the issue. I clearly told them that the refund has to be 100% as oyo cannot cheat customers and guests by making false promises and delivering substandard quality and make profits for itself by taking shield of business policy. Oyo cannot deliver a wooden bar on the promise of delivering a gold bar and also charging for the gold bar. Some accountability and fairness in business is expected although the end motive can be profiteering.
                              I am posting this complaint with responsibility so that other customers are not cheated in the manner as occasioned to me subject to oyo resolving the issue and making the refund of the entire amount paid by me by making a reverse entry of the amount paid by me. Any other guest or customer of oyo having faced similar situation can join a class action before the competition commission of india for such unfair trade practice. I intend to initiate criminal prosecution of the managing officials and directors in the event of failure of any resolution relating to complete refund by oyo.

                                I booked two rooms in relax inn, udaipur, rajasthan. We reached the hotel early as our train reached the station at 8am. We asked a guy to get us a room atleast so that we can freshen up.
                                He didn't say anything conclusive and made us wait for 40 mins without offer any assistance of any kind. When we complaint to oyo regarding this, the receptionist rained upon with an attitude which was intolerable and unethical.

                                  We had booked four room of oyo room (163) in nainital high court road. There was no sign at the building to indicate oyo rooms, so it took lot of time and trouble to reach to the right place. Further while booking it was shown that breakfast is included in the rent, but it was denied when we went there citing that it is a home stay, which was nowhere mentioned at the time of booking.

                                    I booked a hotel for 25-26 june to coorg, in oyo homes. However while booking it was booked 17-18 (I don't know how it was happened). When i got a confirmation mail, i found the day is appearing as 17. Immediately, called to customer care (Within 5 min of booking) to cancel the same and to reschedule it to 25-26 june. They advised me not to cancel the room but no response i have received yet from oyo on refund. (Booking no-ugdv1302).

                                        I stayed at maharaja resorts, patnitop on 10&11 june 2017, booked 2 rooms @ 3500/- per room through oyo rooms booking id. Mbvy3092 the hotel is a terrible hotel. I have booked 2 separate rooms but the guys at reception told me that they have arranged 1 family room for us which was a not as per the amount i have paid i requested them to allot me 2 separate rooms, we were shown 2 rooms to which we agreed but the guy at the reception started showing attitude and started grumbling, i informed the oyo regarding this they arranged 2 separate rooms for us the bed sheets of those rooms were dirty blood stains on it when informed regarding this to the hotel they said that hotel don't have spare bed sheet as all the sheets r wet which were changed after 2 hours i requested oyo rooms and ask them to tell there city captain to contact us which never happened, we were not provided any towels, toiletries, the carpet in the room was totally wet walls were damp the service in the restaurant was icing on the cake it took almost 1 hour to get our orders the spoons were provided after requesting them for 5 to 6 times only person who was trying to things right was mr vijay kumar (Waiter). Only thing i want to suggest the fellow visitors is don't stay at hotel maharaja resorts, patnitop and never book a hotel through oyo rooms they r a big cheat.
