Myself, dr. Lakshmi unnikrishnan, booked oyo room - raj guru residency, ambal nagar chennai for a period of 04 days, from may 4 - may 7, 2017. I checked into the hotel on may 4, 2017 at 05.30 pm and stayed there till may 7, 2017, 04.00 am. During check out, i made the payment and asked for the bill. They refused to give any bill or even money receipt, claiming that i will receive the bill through mail from oyo site since it was an online booking. Even after so many requests, they were stubborn on not giving any bill or even a money receipt. The very same day at around 09.30 am, i received a message from oyo stating that my booking has been cancelled because i did not stay there. Now, this was really shocking and an eye opener towards the unprofessional approach of the hotel staff. I would request to kindly intervene in this matter and help me get an authentic receipt for the payment i had made. I have also registered complaint with oyo customer support. Hoping to get the issue resolved.
