Hi,

I want to know the refund status of my booking last month. As per our telephonic conversation with Pratima Sah (Guest Experience Team) you had told me that the refund has been processed and it will take 7-14 working days. But it's been more than a month now and I'm still waiting for the refund.
As per our conversation I have already sent you the Receipt invoice from the hotel and also shared you the bank details.
Please do the needful at the earliest and respond as soon as possible.

My booking ID was;
YRBX2773

Please find the attached document of invoice to this email. Before payment at the hotel I had called your customer support as the hotel was asking for extra money more than the booking fee, so your customer support officer said me to pay the extra amount and Oyo will pay you back the extra amount paid by me.

I had already been in contact with you 5 times before for the issue and shared you the bank details. But I'm still waiting for my refund.

Please look into this matter seriously you guy's are not even responding and giving me worst customer service. From 1 month I'm mailing you why are you not responding and giving my refund. Please respond on my email address.

    Hi
    I booked a hotel room in hotel mangal inn in Udaipur. Paid for it in advanced but the hotel staff denied my check in on 2 August 2022. The oyo app shows me that I’ve checked in and even checked out of the room. They didn’t even let me in! I want complete refund of my booking and strict action against hotel.
    Hotel staff says that it’s due to oyo’s auto check in feature and they didn’t allow me to check in!

      Hi there,
      Last month from 3rd July to 6th July we stayed at
      OYO 5584 Hotel Siddharth Inn
      Near Keshav Park, New Vavol, Gandhinagar
      After coming back to Pune, we just asked them to scan the cash receipt in pdf format since we asked them to modify the bill and include GST charges. They did that but sent a mobile photo image of the cash receipt which we could not print clearly and submit to the government office. However, since last month we have been asking them to send me a good scanned image in pdf format, so that i can submit it to the office which they are doing.
      I expect Oyo management to look personally into it and solve the problem.

        I made a booking through OYO, booking ID(CGT05200) For Stay From 13 July to 14 July,
        I was refused my stay when I reached the hotel and oyo support team couldn't accommodate me in another hotel too. I was standing in the road for nearly 2 hrs and was helpless, It was such a horrible experience, After this, I was waiting for my refund I'm not even expecting any compensation, Just a refund of the amount which I Paid for the booking, They are testing my patience here the full amount I paid was 545 I received only 219 rupees when asked the customer care people said the remaining amount will be credited soon, it's been more than 14 working days from the date of booking still I'm yet to receive my refund (the amount which I Paid and not your company money) . I'm frustrated to the core. Oyo rooms customer care don't even transfer calls to the refund department, it simply gets disconnected .

        No action taken.. It's been a month, And it's been 4 days since I shared by bank details for the transfer of the remaining amount, still didn't receive the refund.. How long will It take still to issue the refund ? Don't try to fool me, transferring through NEFT Won't even take an hour.. Above all not picking my calls when contacting the refund department..

          I was refused for entry in a prepaid hotel booking. Hotel staff said they don’t accept reservations from oyo app anymore. I’ve called costumer support several times. I want full amount refund for my booking as I’ve not stayed in the hotel.

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              I booked a hotel for 1 night stay (08/07/22 to 09/07/22) through oyo app against Booking ID - Z2UI8956 Oyo Townhouse 071 Brookefield dated 30.06.2022 and paid the full amount Rs.2347 through UPI (google pay). But due to an emergency, I had to cancel my booking.

              The cancellation was within the time period allotted by OYO and on the app it shows that the amount has been refunded but I still have not received any amount in my bank account.

              From that day I’m calling custumer care and there is no proper response. They keep on hold and disconnect the call.

              If this is the kind of service provided by the OYO, i'll probably not book from OYO ever again however cheap is your pricing.

              So kindly look into the issue and do the needful ASAP and this was my first pathetic service and very much disappointed.

              I got an email from customer care that refund was initiated at the time of cancellation and refund status is showing succesful, but my account has not yet been credited yet. It has been almost 2 months now.
              I have called oyo customer service, and they are not giving any satisfactory reply.
              Is this the kind of service that is provided by the company?

                Oyo has not refunded the amount paid while booking. On reaching hotel they denied room availability and cancelled the booking

                I am waiting for like months now waiting for the issue to be resolved.. even posting the complaint here did not resolved my issue yet.. if the attitude remains same towards customer issues, I don't think Oyo will be able to retain the customers for long now

                  Sir/Madam,
                  I have booked a hotel through oyo app against Booking ID-ZDWE3568 Collection O 87472 Greenland Luxury, Puri on dated 23.07.2022 and paid the full amount Rs.949 through UPI mode, but I got a call from the property representative that they don't have rooms available for the same date of booking and asked me to contact oyo customer care for refund. Then, after several attempts, I was able to contact oyo customer care representative through call where he asked me to shift to a nearby oyo hotel named Oyo 9090 Hotel Balram Palace against Booking Id - D5BN3549 and asked me to pay another extra tariff differential amount of Rs. 113, which I paid through UPI again. But, unfortunately, that was also occupied completely as per property manager, then again after several attempts, I contacted with a customer care representative who advised me to cancel both my bookings from his end and sent me a mail of cancellation and refund on my registered email id as can be seen in the trail mail. Now, it's about 10days passed and I haven't received neither any refund amount nor you people are responding positively on customer care phone number [protected]. It's so harassing towards your esteemed customer. Hope to get a positive response this time.

                    I did booking gor 14 days in a OYO Room and I paid them full amount in advance. The room they provided was not well maintained and I had to checkout on same day of my checkin.

                    I contacted their escalation team and they sent me an email cofirmation of refund of amount by deducting 2 days charge which is ok for me.

                    Email said it will credit in 7 to 14 days. But it is not happened yet. No email response, no enough customer care support.

                    It is first time from OYO for me, but it is not at all acceptable.

                      There are multiple problems with Oyo rooms.
                      I booked for 10 days in Oyo 378 Aira Apartments in Bangalore between 15 July 2022 and 25 July 2022. Booking ID: R6QA8527.

                      1. The hotel denied booking stating the reason that they have cut ties with Oyo. This should have been informed in advance either by Oyo or the hotel, but this is a surprise when I called hotel. Imagine travelling for many hours to a different city and finding that we dont have a place to stay.

                      2. I called Oyo support and requested to book me in different hotel. But the person I am talking to in customer support doesn't have a basic clue of how to book hotels. They said to be there are only 3 hotels available in entire Bangalore (where if I check the same from my side, I could see about 300 available to book). I could have continued staying with Oyo if not for clueless customer support. I requested cancellation and they initiated a full refund of the amount under the reason hotel denied the booking.

                      3. The refund of Rs. 14, 465 is stated to be refunded within 7-14 days which itself is a huge amount of time. But the cancellation is initiated on 15 Jul and even after more than 15 days, the refund is still not processed and credited in my account. This is categorized as financial fraud. No reply even after multiple chase ups through email. No option to check refund status through the useless chat app. No option to talk to customer care support about refunds (IVR only has booking option).

                      Basically, I availed zero service from Oyo, but having no way to get my own money back for the service that I did not avail. No other option to approach them unless through consumer forums.

                        I made a booking on 23/07/2022 and payed advance money (Rs 329) to confirm booking, but due to some reason i canceled the booking an hour later making the same.
                        And its been more than a month I haven't received my refund amount. I tried contacting cc but computerised voice is not letting me to talk to the customer executive and even if i somehow managed to get to customer care executive they just asks to be on hold and after 10 min calls get disconnected. I haven't received my money yet. Kindly help me.

                          On 11th July, 2022 I booked an Oyo room for the dates 20 July-25th July and made a payment of 1, 608r.s which I made through my Paytm UPI, the amount was debited and room booked but due to some unfortunate event I had to cancel the booking and I cancelled it on 13th July, 2022 at 5 PM which according to OYO is the maximum allotted refund period incase of cancellation, and I was told my money will be refunded back to me, after checking the app I was showed my refund is being initiated until now (date: 1 Aug, 2022)and I haven't received any refund in my bank from Oyo, I made multiple tickets regarding this glitch but no response was availed from Oyo's part.

                          So please look into the matter and kindly revert the money back as soon as possible.

                          After this complaint, Oyo contacted me and assured me of the refund but asked me to wait for about 10 days to process the refund. Now it's been 2 days and the refund has not yet been processed for me. I will wait for 10 days. If the refund is not processed for me, I will have to raise another complaint.

                            Please resolve my problem i paid money online through oyo app when i go to check In hotel management deny to check in they said 360₹ you will not get any room in this hotel please cancel your booking so i cancel my booking but 4 days aftet not got refund of 360₹ when i use to call oyo help desk they use to transfer my call to service depart then it will take 20 min hold after they cut the call it is very disappointing and i got mental harassment by oyo company

                              Please refund back my money. Whenever I call in your helpline number within a minute it gets disconnected. I never thought that I'll be facing this issue with the so call brand OYO.
                              I booked a room in Hotel Knight inn for 28th - 29th July but that property got blocked by oyo for some reason
                              And you couldn't find any other suitable hotel for me. So then agent Mayank committed me that Ill get back my refund if i stay there and the extra paid amount will get refunded back and since it was blocked but the condition was that I need to have a proper invoice bill. He also told me that even if I do fresh booking as was told by hotel manager because they're no more linked with oyo anymore, I'll be getting the refund so I paid them advance amount and again I confirmed this from your agent Atif Ali and before check-in I again contacted your team then agent Md Shebaz gave his words and as an assurity mailed me saying they'll refund back my money and after check out i contacted again an agent with the same name Sehbaz he again emailed me and committed that 100% I'll be getting the refund in 7-14 working days but later when I called oyo helpline just to know my refund status I get to know that youre not going to refund back my money and can't do anything about commitment. You didn't apologize for anything

                                I booked a room in Hotel Knight inn for 28th - 29th July but that property got blocked by oyo for some reason
                                And you couldn't find any other suitable hotel for me. So then agent Mayank committed me that Ill get back my refund if i stay there and the extra paid amount will get refunded back and since it was blocked but the condition was that I need to have a proper invoice bill. He also told me that even if I do fresh booking as was told by hotel manager because they're no more linked with oyo anymore, I'll be getting the refund so I paid them advance amount and again I confirmed this from your agent Atif Ali and before check-in I again contacted your team then agent Md Shebaz gave his words and as an assurity mailed me saying they'll refund back my money and after check out i contacted again an agent with the same name Sehbaz he again emailed me and committed that 100% I'll be getting the refund in 7-14 working days but later when I called oyo helpline just to know my refund status I get to know that youre not going to refund back my money and can't do anything about commitment. You didn't apologize for anything

                                  I booked oyo room through app my booking id W2BX3756 and my payment is done before visiting to hotel where i paid 995 rupess.At the time of checkin receptionist asked me to show booking id, its a clear cut intention to watch my paid amount.she insisted me to pay extra 500 saying like bookings below 1000 will charge extra 500.
                                  Also there attitude towards customer is very bad.I also observed my co customers are also asked by this extra amount.Please take action on this.

                                    Hi Team,

                                    Let me tell you yet again another incident of worst Oyo service i have experienced.

                                    1) Booking done on July 5 at Oyo Townhouse 251 Richmond Circle ( Booking ID: INVB9694 )
                                    For 6th July - 7th July .

                                    2) At 11:30 am on check day ( 6th July ) a notification was given by Oyo saying the property i have booked is facing some trouble and is unavailable for the day.

                                    3) Option of modify booking or refund of booking was provided to me. I chose modify booking.

                                    4) Tried to Contact Oyo customer helpline multiple times but to my understanding there is no service team in Oyo. No information on alternative booking recieved until 1:22pm.

                                    5) A new room was booked without confirmation from my end. Hotel which it is booked at had the worst rating and comments under Google reviews. ( Hotel: OYO Flagship 77157 Puttana Chetty Townhall ).

                                    6) Requested for refund in WhatsApp option and no response or not even a single customer care executive contacted me.

                                    7) At 1:45pm a mail came saying my cancellation amount is 1076 and 0rs is the refund.

                                    8) As a customer i have tried my best to contact the team from 7th of July till 31st July and no one was able to provide me with a resolution.

                                    I can guarantee you 100% that if you call the Oyo customer care number [protected] and ask them to connect you to the service team . No one will answer and the call gets disconnected .

                                    That's my hard earned money you have cheated from me . Refund my money back. Not yours it's my money.

                                      Payment of 931 is deducted from my account but booking is not showing in the app and and when I called oyo customer service they are denying it, so kindly proceed my refund of amount 931.
