I booked a Oyo room on Feb '22 and stayed for 3 months as I read the rules of 3 month stay for total security deposit refund. I checked out on May '22. As per policy the refund was suppose to be initiated after 15 days of checkout, It's been 2 months, I haven't received any amount or any kind of delay on payment notice. Even when tried to call customer service they keep hoping call from one person to another and in the end just cut the call and sometimes don't even pick the call.
I am very frusted with their service.
Just give a proper date and real reason on delay of refund.

Hoping by doing this I get my refund soon and please do this for all the people who really need there deposit money back, I am sure I am not alone.

    Hotel name: OYO 84234 Jayam Residency, Chennai.
    I booked this hotel for me and my family and after reaching the hotel, the manager told me to wait till 3pm for non-AC room even though the standard check-in time was 12pm and the room I booked was a classic one with AC as a standard amenity in it. And If I want to check-in on 12pm then I'll have to pay rs.2100 additional for AC room...
    So, In-short you've to pay additional charges for on time check-in and for AC service that you've already paid for.
    After complaing about this issue to oyo customer service, the oyo executives called the manager where the manager was declining calls from their base department in front of me. After some time the oyo executives managed to get on call with the manager and the manager started to arguing in hindi (language) where as with me he was arguing in Tamil and English only and pretending that he don't understand nor can speak in hindi.
    My problems just didn't ended here. The oyo executive told me that he is unable to accommodate/shift me and my family to nearby hotels as there were no hotel available for shifting.
    So I booked another cab and paid rs.1617 for cab fare to travel to another nearby hotel. And had to book a filthy dirty room for rs. 3900 as I had no other choice remaining. OYO Services and rooms are getting just worse and worse. This is the 2nd time I faced issue with OYO rooms in these recent 4 months. I never felt this much devastated and embarrassed in front of my family like this.
    If you're unfortunate enough then the manager will tell you there's a tariff issue with the OYO app that's why it shows hotels at so much cheaper rates so that you have to pay more than fixed rates.

    Cab fare to hotel that got canceled- rs. 820 (wasted)
    Hotel that got canceled- rs. 1863
    Cab fare to other hotel- rs. 1617 (wasted)
    Amount paid at other hotel- rs. 3900
    [protected]= 2037 (wasted)
    2037+820+1617= 4474 (wasted)

        As I have booked a hotel in oyo rooms whose name was Capital O 84066 Hotel Damodar Palace. I had booked the hotel on 6th of August, 2022 but due to my travelling issues I cancelled my booking on 7th August, 2022. And still I have not received my Refund amount yet which was an INR-2418. My Booking ID is- OMPW0192.Kindly look into the matter as soon as possible and take necessary action and please initiate my refund as soon as possible.

          Sir on 06 aug 2022 I booked a room through OYO app .. I submitted payment before I reached lodge via Google pay of rs 900… after reaching at reception they said online payment made by you was not reached to us and they have taken money 1100… and said u can contact OYO. I tried calling OYO customer care but no response from their side .. I tried more times but no reply or respond … plz file a case of cheating by OYO and hotel partner ….

              I have stayed in Oyo affiliated building in Bangalore NRV hospital Airport Road Bangalore. The attendants are not at all helpful . Secondly I have booked the room for 859 approx when I came in for check in I was asked to pay 206 extra. I was left with no other options and I paid for it. Thirdly water scarcity is an issue in bathrooms. When we inform them they take it casually. After multiple calls they turned on their water motor. Very pathetic service from these guys

                I made online payment after i reached the hotel i was asked to pay more than double the paid amt to get a room.
                So i did not stay at the hotel and demanded for a refund. Oyo CS is terrible. They have marked as no show at the hotel which is a false info.
                I want my money back.

                  I have booked a room through oyo app on 11 th july and paid Rs.2295. But the hotel refused to give me a room for that price and asked me to pay extra and I paid an extra amount Rs.1049. When i contacted OYO regarding this they said they would refund the extra paid amount upon submitting the bill. But now they arent returning to my emails and contacting OYO seems impossible on this matter. My booking ID is RRBM3824. IT LOOKS LIKE WE CANNOT TRUST OYO AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT NO ONE IS BOOKING THROUGH OYO.

                    Let's say blunder team or blunder developers 🙏

                    I made a booking on 26th July with booking id JJPR3198 for Oyo 8281AJ palace for 13-15 August

                    Now yesterday after 10days of booking i got a call from oyo that if you don't cancel your booking then you will face issue with check-in. I said what the hell!!!

                    Customer support girl said due to some technical glitch on site on that day amount was not right... that's not my issue, that's yours... keep your sorry on your mouth.. don't give it me

                    I insisting to give me proper reason not some bloody hell cheap reason.

                    I somehow understand that booking i got at lower price but now prices for same place same date is 3x... is it a joke

                    Oyo has come to such level now they forgot what to do with customer to treat them well

                    You are running a company or circus, just to get some extra money you call CUSTOMER, ask them to cancel and redo booking and new booking rate is 3x. I mean who the hell you think you are?

                      I had made a booking on oyo vide booking id KMF79215 on 30/07/22. But I got a message from oyo that there is no room in the hotel that booked. And Oyo gave me 2 options one is that I can shift to another hotel or I can cancel it and full refund for the same would be initiated. So, I choose to cancel my booking and booked another room offline. But I have not received any refund for my booking till now. I am trying to contact from last 7 days but through Voice call, Email, WhatsApp and Yo! but not able to contact through any medium and haven't got any response regarding my issue. Sir/ Madam, please kindly help me in this regard and please help me for geeting my money refund as early as possible. I am also sharing the screenshots of messages from Oyo for your reference.

                          I made a booking with Oyo booking ID LP3W7514 on 15th June to 17th June. I have been doing follow up since then for refund whereas the helpline executives at [protected] either kept the call on hold for infinite time or does not give any response. I have made about 30 calls however no one is giving proper support. Once an executive did confirm that refund is showing in the system and is under process. But almost 2 months are going to passed and there has not been any refund received. Customer support is pathetic and only doing time pass in the name of support.

                            Dear Team

                            This is regarding my booking reference # ISOQ2127!!

                            Last night, I contacted OYO customer care to assist in booking an accommodation which accepts a soft copy of ID proof, as the travel was made for a medical emergency and the hard copy/original ID proofs were left at home. After checking with 2 hotels, OYO customer care made a booking with "OYO Flagship 75558 The Gour Lazeez Hotel Near Lajpat Nagar Metro Station" for 2 nights & applied a discount coupon. Payment was made online and the booking ID was shared on WhatsApp.

                            However, the below issues cropped up the moment I entered the hotel premise for a Check-in:

                            When I reached the hotel, the lady at reception mentioned that online bookings are not considered & that too with OYO. She outrightly refused to honor the reservation and asked to contact OYO customer care. Upon multiple requests, the owner agreed to take a fresh booking as per the actual room tariff. I had to pay an additional INR 1500 on top of what was paid last night at the time of online booking. With this, the per night room cost came to be INR 1200. Further, while OYO confirmed that breakfast will be available as a part of the package, however, the hotel confirmed that they do not have a kitchen at all. Me being in my maternity, had no choice but to agree to the terms of the hotel as in my condition in an alien city, it is very inconvenient to look out for an accommodation without a prior booking.

                            In addition to this, the hotel room is way too dirty with no toiletries & is absolutely not worth INR 1200 per night. There's no phone to call the reception, for every request, I have to call the hotel using my cell-phone. TV is disconnected, the toilet is hazardous, bed linens are dirty with men's hair, cigarette smoke on them.

                            The owner was also extremely hesitant to allow me accommodation knowing I am in my maternity. This is so unfair! He said, pregnant women come with a lot of medical risk.

                            The hotel owner also added that OYO has been applying discounts on their tariffs without even a prior discussion. They have an "EP" contract with OYO which does not include breakfast or any additional services to be an "add-on" in the room tariff. Even the ironing comes as a separate paid service.

                            I have attached all necessary proofs & evidences in lieu of my above grievance. I request OYO to:

                            1. Stop fooling customers this way as it causes super inconvenience. People travel within cities & rely on OYO as their accommodation partner. If such incidents keep happening & OYO overlooks the quality of the hotels, most importantly hygiene & does not facilitate food then the business better be closed!

                            2. I'd need OYO to return the full payment (online booking amount + the additional payments made to the hotel off record) and find me a clean accommodation ASAP. A healthy person might fall sick if they stayed in this hotel!

                            I look forward to an immediate resolution!

                              I booked a hotel from oyo and when I reached the hotel, they asked me my booking ID, and instantly asked for 500 extra, I already paid the full amount still he said you can contact oyo, it is only 70% you paid, I checked the booking and no where it is written that it is 70%.I tried calling oyo number of times and yet no response as usual. Finally I paid extra to get the room. Nover gonna book via oyo again.

                                  sorry to bother you but im having a problem .
                                  I booked this certain room right . and now I've been here 2 hours earlier than checkin . they have multiple rooms of the same kind and I don't understand why don't let me pick a room that's the same room I booked.
                                  am I not allowed to pick a room since I was here first?
                                  they said whoever booked first, the system gets to pick the room they will be. I find that to be very unfair. the person who is here first no matter who booked ahead, should be able to pick a room first.

                                  can you pls tell them to re assign me to a different room location. its the same room category anyways...

                                  im really having a hard time these past few days and all I've been desiring is to have a room with at least a nice view or location.. not a room beside a water tank? im so sad why god can't just give me a freaking break...
                                  could you pls help me out. they told me if I ask you, they would be able to change it, , , .

                                    I was charged rupees 893 on 6th of August, 2022 at 1:48am, I did the booking through OYO app directly, it redirected me to UPI payment screen of Paytm. I made the payment, it shows payment completed to merchant. The OYO app shows NO BOOKING on app, no sms, no whatsapp message, no email, nothing. I have called oyo helpline atleast 14-15 times in the span of 2 hours and they have proven to be nothing but useless. I donot have a booking id to show because no booking is generated. No resolution, no followup from their side, nothing. I haven't received a refund either. This is what i call a cheat, a thief. Neither will they help you nor will they take the initiative. Highly disgusted by the service they're offering. Pathetic. It has been 3 hours now and I've been on calls with the helpline back to back, no resolution.

                                      Hi, I have booked an property in Oyo got Jun 30th and payment done pre-checkin! And property manager informed me rooms are full and denied my chekin for pre-paid.

                                      I spoke to oyo and they informed I got to cancel this and intiate it refund and promised me amount will be received within 14days! But not received the amount again I spoke to customer care and requested for refund again asked for 14days but did not get my refund! And this pattern happened for third time the customer care guys hear the whole story and after a long wait time they just disconnect the call! It's waste of our time and energy.

                                      They even don't reply to mail after continous followups! Also they made me stand in street for two hrs for pre-booked property. Grow up OYO! DON'T ALLOW SUCH PROPERTY AND TREAT YOUR CUSTOMER PROPERLY.

                                      Also, Under mail they created a ticket without resolving the issue and refund they just mark it is done.

                                        I booked a room for 3 night from 28th august to 31st august, I paid online 1257 Rs on 26th july. I cancelled my booking on 5th august but refund money not received.
