Address: OYO Rooms - Requesting for Refund as soon as possible

Hello, This is Arvind Swamy, Booking ID - GAAB3120, Collection O 84851 Sharma Inn Guest House & Banquet.
I booked 2 rooms for 3 guests on 18 Jun, 12:00 AM to 19 Jun, 11:00 AM.
Booking Amount - Rs. 1075
I booked the room around 3:30 am in the morning because I had no option and no place to stay in Kolkata, WB.
But still somehow i got many rooms nearby through OYO App, and i booked the nearest hotel by paying and booking them in advance because I had to go somewhere to stay till morning.
I reached the location and went near the building, the building was locked from inside, i was waiting there with two more person till 5am, no one responded from inside, i called in the contact number which oyo provided me with, the number was wrong, there was no one to help us at that moment and at that point of time as it was also raining. After payment and the next day when it showed i checked out from the room, it showed me "The OYO is not Operational". I didn't check-in nor i checked-out.
This is how you deal with your prime and regular customers, same problem happened me with 2 weeks ago when i was in Delhi, I was denied check-in from the hotel because oyo showed very low price.
Then i somehow managed to find a room for me at 5:30 am and that was not through oyo, just to stay there for 4hrs till morning and then leave.
I tried contacting the team for the refund and through oyo chat also, there's no option for refund status.
I tried to chat with the team, "I am looking for something else, i have some other concerns, i want to know the status of refund, but there was nothing in particular which would help me at that moment.
the amount i paid is not much but what you people do is nothing less than a harassment. Please improve the communication system. If the customer can't contact you when they need OYO the most, what is the need o[censored]sing this app and becoming a prime member then.

I need the refund in my account as soon as possible.

      Hi, my name is tarandeep singh i have made a booking on oyoapp on 15th june which was prepaid 940rs and the booking id is “M2PK2180” and oyo name is “collection 0 79356 Mahavir enclave “ but when my friend reached the oyo before they told him they got no amount showing in application and you need to pay it so my friend paid the amount and they told that you will get the refund but now its been more than 10days and i have wasted more than 2hours on customer care they are not supportive . Raised a complaint more than 10times emailed them but got no response . So kindly help me out. With this issue

        Hi,

        I went to Kanpur for medical therapy session and booked an Oyo room via app for 7 days and paid for the booking online. After paying the hotel I found out that the elevator was out of service.

        I got the room on 2nd floor and due to my medical condition I couldn't claim the stairs.

        I called Oyo support and they understand my situation and asked me to do an early check out from the hotel and book another hotel from the app by promising me the refund of next 6 days.

        The support asked me to contact them again after checking out from the other hotel where I have stayed for next 6 days and they will initiate the refund.

        I checked out from the other hotel on 27th April 2022 and have been contacting Oyo support to get the refund.

        Oyo representative said they have a policy where they deduct 1 day terrif for early check-out so I my case even after promissing me 6 days refund they are going to give me refund of 5 days.

        I reached Oyo via call, twitter and facebook still my issue is not resolved. So far I have received a few RAC emails from Oyo but none of them was processed by the senior finance team.

        The issue is not resolved. I have been asked to send bank details and a decleration but the refund is not deposited to my account.
        Hi Oyo,

        How many 7- 14 days you'd like me to wait? I have already waited for 3 to 4 time.

        Now the support is saying they have deposited Rs1050 to my oyo wallet which I haven't asked for.

        Why Oyo team is causing so much inconvenience to me?
        The issue is not resolved. Kindly look into this issue

          Hi,
          I have reserved the hotel booking ain OYO app and went to the Hotel along with family. But, I stunned with the hotel response as they can't offer room with the price that I have got at OYO app. I have tried contacting OYO but non of the numbers was working at the point of time. However, I can not go to another hotel as we are almost tired, hence, paid as per their wish. Later contacted OYO customer care and explained the issue, they said they will refund the excess amount charged.

          I have shared all the required details asked by them. But, later on OYO denied me to refund. They stopped respond to me. Could you plz help me out to get my refund as this is completely cheeting as they don't have proper control over their OYO flagship hotels.

            I booked a oyo room in 1033 oyo townhouse ameerpet on 22 Jun I completed my payment and in oyo app under my profile booking is confirmed now I got msg from oyo rooms that due to unavoidable circumstances your booking need to be changed please check a new hotel..what is this after completing the payment at a hotel we selected if we need to change now the hotel prices very high and also we selected the hotel by seeing area and all amenities and reviews of hotel.now if they want us change suddenly what should we do.this is cheating.oyo is real cheating after payment and confirmed booking they can't change without a proper reason and they can't do whatever they want without consenting customer.this is cheating and oyo is worst

              I booked a hotel in oyo and paid full amount on 22nd June. I booked for the dates 25th to 28th June. After paying the full amount I got msg the next that due to unavoidable circumstances your oyo room has to change please select new hotel.what is this without any proper reason or contacting me how can they shift room then what's the point in select the hotel by looking area and hotel amenities.i booked hotel oyo townhouse ameerpet 1033.now oyo has sent that msg I am not sure where to go there or not this so ridiculous that they are doing this

                My amount deducted, but refunded yet..i paid amount via ICICI bank.
                Bank people told clearly amount is paid to Oyo so service disk raised ti ket and told they will resolve.its been 2 weeks not refunded yet.. i want my 750 rupees refund soon.

                  I've booked a hotel at oyo for june 22, 2022 and june 23, 2022 two days prior. At the day of check-in i was informed that my booking was changed to another hotel(without my consent and permission). I can't do anything about that also i was in hurry so, i went for the hotel which I've shifted by oyo. There they denied my check-in saying to cancel and directly book a room. Then I've contacted customer support and spoke to the person for nearly an hour and gave me a choice of 3 low standard hotel for the price I've paid and i chose one property and went there to check-in, there they demanded extra 200rs as i was in hurry for an appointment i did paid 200 extra other than the payment I've done while booking a higher standard hotel.
                  My choice of booking: oyo silverkey 77698 kings court near rela balaji hospital
                  The hotel they shifted me to without my concern: oyo flagship 1246 raaj residency
                  Hotel finally i got and asked 200rs extra for checking in: oyo 78431 flagship belle vagues - chrompet.

                  All these hotels has minimum distance of 1km between them, i had to walk to each hotel to get diverted. Pathetic service.

                    On 21/6/2022 i made a booking through https://www.oyorooms.com/ for 2 adults ( 23/6/2022 to 26/6/2022 ) for Collection O 84531 Auro Castle Residency at Rs 3009 . I received the message from oyo about the confirmation of my hotel. BOOKING ID - AOLQ3229

                    Then later on 22/6/2022 i called the hotel to tell them my check-in time. The hotel manager responded by saying that their hotel is not available for a price range of 3009 and demanded a total of 5400 and asked me to cancel my booking .

                    I called Oyo customer service, they just gave me two choices that was either to cancel my booking and ask for a refund or to book a very low rated hotel for the same price, i tried to explain my situation that i cannot cancel the booking and can't afford to pay more, since the mistake was from their end, they should take care of it . They said either cancel and get the refund or pay the extra amount .

                    I got very frustrated and asked them to cancel my booking and asked for a refund . They promised that i would receive my refund in 10 hours, but it has been more than 20 hours and i don't have any money left to book another hotel .

                    ON THE APPLICATION IT IS SHOWING THAT MY REFUND HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY TRANSFERRED, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE REFUND!

                        I have booked oyo hotel room via app and paid for it yesterday night, and today at the time of check-in the hotel staff denied for the room by excusing maintanence work is going on, and said to cancel the booking at 11.18 Am 22.06.2022, Hotel SJ Pride, Kalinga Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
                        Oyo didn't refunded full amount because it doesn't goes with their cancellation policy.

                            I am Ayush Jain and I have booked Oyo Room from OYO App on 1 June 2022. My booking Id is Z5EQ0369. I was charged an extra amount for availing of the room and I paid the same in case of emergency. I contacted the support team and they assured me that I will be getting the refund for the amount of Rs 730 within 7-14 working days from 2 June. I shared all the proofs of the payment with them and my bank details for receiving the refund. It is now 20 days and I haven't received the refund yet.

                            The tickets which have been raised by my side are [protected], [protected], and [protected], They haven't been resolved and I haven't received the refund but still, they have been closed by your teams.

                            I am attaching the bills and my bank details in this email for your reference.

                            I want you to process my refund as soon as possible otherwise I won't have any option other than raising the same in Indias Consumer Complaint Forum.

                              I booked Oyo last week KZHM3192 and went to the hotel but i was denied checkin saying that they dont accept bookings from OYO. i payed 978 Rs online and my money is still not refunded.
                              i called the OYO customer care multiple times and was told that they are transferring my call to service team and the call never gets connected.

                              Please resolve my issue else i will raise an FIR with police for this issue of fraud

                                  I made a booking through the OYO App for 6th June 2022 under the booking ID YJBT4346 in the hotel OYO TOWNHOUSE 143 HOTEL ROYAL GARDEN. The information mentioned in the policies of the hotel was just to misguide the customers. It was mentioned there that the customer can check in with any local id card but still we were not allowed to check in by the hotel manager. Then I called the customer care and made a complaint regarding the same and in the end they admit that it was their fault and initiated me the full refund of 1706 INR. I received the same regarding the full refund on the same day where it was mentioned that it would be refunded in the next 7-14 days. Also when I checked the app, I noticed that they have initiated a refund of 43 INR. They basically are running scams by providing wrong information in the hotel policies and not allowing the customers to check in. This is the last thing that I could have done.

                                  I received a notification from the OYO on the same day when I posted this complaint mentioning that the rest of the amount has been successfully processed as a refund. It has been almost 4 days but I don't see that refund to be credited in my bank account.

                                    I booked (AEEC6518) the hotel through reservation team of oyo and paid the entire amount through oyo app. Next day when I arrived at the hotel, the hotel guy asked me to pay Rs.8000/- more. I immediately called oyo and they spoke to the hotel guy but the hotel guy still refused to allow us without paying the extra amount. So oyo tried to offer us an alternative hotel but as there are no vacancies they told us that they will cancel the booking and refund us the entire amount. But its been 21 days and I still didn't get my refund of Rs.8042/-.

                                    I like to get my refund back as soon as possible.

                                      I went to the hotel and the hotel manager said there is no such booking and they denied my check in. There was no cashback provided by the oyo and I lost my money paid online. The app asked the option to cancel my booking. So I do so and it seems like they looted my money and no refund.

                                        Booked the room at park palace mumbai for 1408rs. But the hotel manager asked me 600rs extra if i wanted to stay.
                                        Hence i cancelled the booking after speaking with the oyo agent.
                                        Refund initiated by the agent and the app says its successfully refunded but i have not received at my end.
