I tried booking a room through OYO in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.However the amount got deducted from my bank account, when paying through Gpay. But I didn't get a booking ID. I cannot contact the customer care either, as I do not have a booking ID.I would like to get a refund.

    Hi I am Roshan P Raj who had recently made a booking via OYO app, as it was my first booking I received a booking offer, And I had booked Dsquare Silverkeys a property near SIPCOT, Chennai Tamilnadu for the Amount 949/- on June 3-4. I also had mentioned in the app that I will be checking in around 3-6 PM on June 3rd. Based on this I planned my travel. On June 3rd when I reached the property somewhere between 5:00-5:30, I was shocked to realise that the property I booked had been changed without my permission by OYO. And further when I talked to the person at the hotel he informed me that due to overbooking. I was standing there with no room to stay. The worst part was that when I called the team to tell my problem they told me to move to the alternative place which was a cheap and shabby property with low rating, and was away from the place I was staying. Moreover in between the call when I asked for a solution the customer representative Nazrana Khan, was responding and later in the e-mail responded that it was a fault in her headset which I believe is quite surprising considering she is dealing in a client facing role. I hereby want to lodge a complaint on OYO for manipulating more number of bookings than available owing to which I had to spend 3022 Rs. to find a stay in the nearby hotel which was the only one which had available rooms. I want strict action so that no other consumer is suffered in a similar manner.And also changing the booking to another location without my permission is violation of my choice and a 3-party manipulating in my account is also a cyber I believe and infringement on my right to privacy. I hereby request justice to be served

      Booking ID WSH54652, MANORI RESORT, MALAD.
      Yesterday on 3 June 2022 i booked a hotel and payed for it, while heading there we found out we need to take a ferry to reach there and it was 12 am so the ferry business was closed, when we called hotel they said we'll have to change the route and it will take more 2 hours of driving, he got fed up and had to cancel the booking. After cancelling refund was not initiated as they said it's not in their policy, but why should I pay so much cancellation charges when i didn't even stay, even after calling customer service they keep directing to other lines and it gets disconnected. Please initiate the refund I'm tired of calling customer care pathetic service

      Thank you Oyo, The very next day i got an email from oyo saying my refund was initiated and after 2 days it got credited to my acc i liked the quick action they took after complaining here. It would have been so much better if the customer service i called gave me such service

        above are the details of the booking
        The booking was made through oyo contact number ([protected])
        we asked to book rooms in rajamandri but somehow they booked rooms at chennai . we cancelled the rooms immediately .
        BUT due to signals problem the amount has been in processed state and then got debited 3 times. ( the amount debited each time is rs- 916)
        we would really appreciate if the refund is initiated.

            Address: Hotel Niharika guest house, Near Nepali mandir, guwahati - 781008

            I recently booked a hotel (Hotel Niharika Guest House) on Oyo and cancelled it the same day, well before the 100% refund deadline day. The refund status is showing as “Successful” but it is still not reflecting in my account. I made separate payments of Rs. 200 for breakfast and Rs. 1497 for booking and the 200 has been credited back but the second amount has not.
            Please help as I need to make another booking soon.

            The refund has been credited and reflecting in my account now. Also, they have sent a mail in which they have explained the issue. I am pleased with the response.             I am also having the same issue, it's been more than 3 days, i got a refund of 69 remaining amount is yet to be credited, also they do not provide any transaction reference number. They are wasting our times

            I booked my room on 4 June 2022 in hotal royal orbit and i cancell in few hours because receptionist said you are not received hotal call, i give your room to another, this is illogical answer because I made Payment online through UPI, i don't know why hotal given my booked room to another, i need my refund back. It's shows your payment was processed in UPI but i don't received any payment yet.

            I cancelled my booking on may 31 after few hours of booking. Refund of Rs. 910 was processed on june 2 and it has been 9 days since then. It is showing refund successful in the app but it is still not reflecting in my account. I paid through UPI.

              I had booked an oyo through phonepe on 2nd June 2022. I had cancelled the booking due to some unavoidable circumstances. Booking ID- FS0F5901

              As per OYO refund policy I am eligible for a 100% refund. OYO team informed me they have initiated the refund, and from their end refund is successful. But it is not reflecting in my account.

              Please look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest

                I, Soumen Datta, booked two rooms for the date 15th may, when I booked this hotel, i paid Rs. 1098 . But in the time of check in there was shown pending amount rs.2585 in the Oyo app.. I have to pay the extra amount rs. 2585 to the hotel via their QR code forcefully otherwise they didn't provide any rooms. After check out, i contacted with Oyo with this extra payment amount. Oyo customer service said that I want two delux room during check in time, that's why they charged extra amount. But, that is property managers excuse, that is totally false., I never demand that rooms in the check in time.. Rather the extra pending amount was shown before the check in time around 11:00 am in 15th may. After two hours long conversation with Oyo customer services, the problem was resolved and they said they will refund the extra amount within 7-14 working days and they sent a email regarding this.
                But it was almost 18 days, I have not received my refund amount.
                More interestingly, there is no record found in my account in Oyo app's.
                I contacted so many times with Oyo customer services but no one responses.

                  I have already received Rs. 2585 after complaint in consumer forum.
                  But today there is a mail from Oyo, they want to refund the pending amount today. But I don't want this amount because I have already received this amount of money from your side ..

                  My problem is resolved. I have get my Refunded amount back today. I am so happy . Many many thanks for resolving my problem. Thank you.

                    I have booked the room in OYO application and I choose the near by hotel - OYO 80158 MTS Guest house. In the application the rate for the room is just 549Rs and I paid the amount too. When I try to checkin the hotel manager asking me to pay 500Rs extra. I asked why and he said that is how they are running the hotel and all the customer has to pay 500 RS extra or ask me to cancel the booking. I immediately try to reach OYO customer care and there is no response or unable to connect in call. I try to reach through OYO chat and it asking me to cancel the booking and I done that.
                    Here I am forcing to cancel the booking and the OYO company return only 63Rs. Now theyre enjoying my money without even single service. This is one of the cheapest behaviour of company like OYO. I have almost spend 3000RS to reach the hotel and I stand like a jocker in front of my family.

                    I need the my money back and whatever I spend because of this OYO company.

                      I did a booking (ID: S8CD1546) on the OYO app for June 2nd at Collection O 24815. When I reached the hotel they told me that they were full and OYO had given them extra bookings which they could not meet at the time and asked me to call the service line and ask for a relocation. I called them up and everytime I was told that since I've dailed the Reservation helpdesk, they will transfer me to the Service helpdesk and would promptly cut the call, this happened multiple times. The booking was prepaid and I would like a refund.

                        I booked OYO 29692 hotel kalpataru on 2nd June around 4:20 pm. I was asked to make the payment online via OYO app to confirm the booking and I did so to confirm my booking. But when I reached the hotel, the receptionist told me they're not taking online booking from Oyo due to price issues and when I said that I've already made the payment, he told me to talk with customer care. So I denied check-in and it was a very bad experience. After all when I reached the "need help" section on OYO app, I was asked either to shift my booking to a new place or to cancel the booking. I chose to cancel the booking as I decided not to book any hotel right then. But after that, they showed the refund amount as 0 and took whole money as cancellation fees, though I was bound to cancel my booking after paying the price since I denied check-in at the hotel. Basically it was thier negligence and I suffered a lot and even they are not refunding my amount. I tried to talk with their customer care many times, but I couldn't reach.

                        So please help me in getting the right service after knowing all these.

                          Worst experience ever. Oyo said that payment is complete as my booking was done based on Oyo's on-call payment. But still it shows pending payment to the hotel when I arrive there. The hotel doesn't listen anything nor there is communication between Oyo and the hotel. The customer suffers and has to pay extra. Oyo randomly adds breakfast, lunch, dinner to increase the price. Oyo hotels don't even provide soaps these days. Oyo customer care service is a harassing experience. The breakfast amount which was added, was also not refunded to me.

                              Hi i am siddharth singh. my oyo registered mobile No is [protected]. i have made a Booking AT oyo hotel Townhouse 713 oasis yellow courtyard hotel bhopal Booking ID -LMT16015 on 18th may 2022. for this booking I made pre payment Of 3335.00 through UPI transaction ID[protected]. which was successful immediately but In oyo App Booking was not confirmed rather showing processing status which eventually got declined from OYO App . Still money has been debited from my A/C & later on i visited my Bank i.e axis bank they raised a complain Regarding Issue & few Days later Bank replied that Debited money has been credited to merchant Company i.e OYO hotel so its my request to look Into
                              matter as soon as possible Since its been 15 days from 18/05/22, My money has been debited & as a brand Known For It's ethical Business Practices & Quality Goverance Model Plz take swift measure & credit a refund amount 3335.00 ASAP Into My Bank A/C . for reference Trasaction slip image is attached.

                                I have booked a room today through OYO & paid full amount(Rs.611) online. While reached hotel for check in the hotel rejected my booking. They says the booking amount is very less & they ask to cancel the booking & to pay more than double rates.
                                When I tried to cancel it shows the refundable amount is ZERO.I've called the OYO customer care throgh [protected], but didn't get any support. I booked new room for Rs.1200/- in cash & lost the paid amount Rs.611.
                                I need the amount back.

                                  I, Prasenjit Dey, Mobile No. [protected], booked a room at "OYO 80299 Fantasy Stay Fusion, Maa Sarada Nursing Home, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue, North, Rajarhat, Kolkata, West Bengal 700136" from 2nd January to 3rd January, 2022 with booking ID LBML9414. For the purpose, I have paid the amount Rs. 389 via Paytm app(Document provided). However, when visiting the aforementioned location, two receptionist in there said that they can not allow any room with this price to me and asked me to pay "Rs. 1100" hundred rupees to stay in that hotel, charges illegal money. Then, I said, that I have already paid for a room in that hotel and not going to pay any extra money and they can not deny me a room. Then, they said that they will not give me any room and canceled my booking from their end. They did not even refund me any money (Though the OYO app showing Rs 72 refund).
                                  I called OYO customer care (+91 [protected]) and complaint but did not get any positive response. I humbly request you to kindly look into the matter as it is related to the harassment, security and safety of a person. I want full refund of Rs. 389. Furthermore, I would also like to lodge a harassment case against them.

                                    I tried booking a room for 12th-13th of May and for some reason the transaction failed the amount was deducted and the amount wasn't refunded i tried contacting them but all the support employees just kept me on hold for hours this happened more than 5 times then i tried the help button but no reply for the same. It has been almost a month now and the amount still hasn't been refunded. Booking ID - K4FZ4047.

                                      I had booked two rooms on 28th May for the same day and the booking id is KD3U2180. I'm new to the place and wanted to utilize Oyo help there. Oyo app showed the price around 1650* INR and showed a message like pay now and reduce 300* INR. Then I felt its an offer from Oyo and paid the amount via app.

                                      But when I reached the hotel, receptionist mentioned that they don't accept bookings from Oyo. I said then why you listed in Oyo, they said we told them to remove but oyo is not removing. I asked the reason for not allowing me to check in, they said Oyo is giving very low price at which they cannot maintain the hotel, all the discussion is okay.

                                      But I was new to the place and hotel people made me to stand outside for a long of this discussion. I tried to reach oyo service team support multiple times on the same day and the next day but no luck. Call was just playing music(hold) for a long and got disconnected.

                                      I felt this is a pathetic service from Oyo and I lost all the trust because you made me stand on road in unknown city. And no support team helped, they didn't even connected for the discussion.

                                      I just need my money back and the reason why the hotel listed in app not acceped the checkin. Hope you got a feedback for the service resillency.

                                        I have asked for June 5, 6, 7 accommodation in town house 942 pallegeo in vizag. They only booked for 6, 7. I told that day i need booking for 5, 6 as well. They said they are modifying the booking and it will take 48 hrs to reflect in bookings. They told me I can pay on that day at accomodation for 5, 6. Now I checked my status and it was not done. And when I called them, they booked me another hotel which is not really nice. I need booking for two days in same hotel which is town house 942 pallegeo. Thank you
