Sub. : question mark on quality of panasonic brand
Ref. : purchased two panasonic window a/cs.

This is to inform you about some discrepancies have been found in your service of panasonic -
1.in a very short period i. e., completion only 2 (Two) years from date of purchase - pcb & display board both are not working?
2. Gas is leaking each year inspite of blue coating in panasonic a/c, which puts a question mark on quality of panasonic product?
3. We are facing regular problem in panasonic acs since the date of purchase till date (Available all the evidences).
It’s put a queston mark on quality of panasonic, a reputed brand.

I am suffering mental agony and harassment due to irresponsible and negligence in service of panasonic which could not be compensated in the terms of money, so look in to this matter seriously and replace all the faulty/defective pcb and display board by new (Ok) piece without any cost/charges at the earliest, otherwise matter will be forwarded to all concerned higher authorities including legal department also, which will affect the goodwill of panasonic, a reputed brand.

    Had made a many times complaint regarding the dysfunctioning of the ac's i had bought a[protected] your co. Intimated me the contact number of the authorised officer of the company for resolving the issue. The number provided to me was[protected]. When i told about the issues to the said person, he promised to send the service provider to solve them and assured that each and every ac would be checked thoroughly and all issues will be fixed be it gas leak or any other problem.

    But, the service provider who visited the site, he analysed only one ac and said that the gas.
    without examining the condenser or other parts. When i asked him to check the other parts due to which the gas was leaked, he refused to examine. Also his behaviour was completely unprofessional and rude. Hence the commitment of the company is not at all honoured.

    We are completely unsatisfied with the product as well as with the service and the commitment of the company. It's not just the matter of 1 ac. We trusted the company and purchased the bulk of ac's and refrigerators also, but, feel completely betrayed and disappointed. Now, i have no other alternative except proceeding towards the court.

      I, being a consumer, writing this mail to bring to light the PATHETIC SERVICE REDRESSAL THAT I AM FACING WITH MY PANASONIC AC.

      Since your system can update you that I had earlier written of how my complaint wasn't being resolved by your service agency even after 30 hours.

      I HAVE A PANASONIC INVERTER AC WHICH DOESN'T COOL. SO I DID DO A SELF ASSESSMENT TO FIND ERRORS AND FOUND THE A.C. HAVING THE FOLLOWING ERROR :

      F-90

      The series of incidents go as follows :

      1. My call to the TOLL FREE HELPLINE was made on MONDAY, 30TH APRIL 2018 AT around 1500 to 1600 hours. To which they said that the service personal will visit in the next 24 hours.
      Neither did I receive any call from the service person nor did they turn up the next day.

      2.Following which I again made a call to TOLL FREE on TUESDAY, 1st MAY 2018 AT 2000 HOURS informing about the same. ( WHICH WAS PAST 24-HOUR LIMIT THAT YOU CLAIM THE PROBLEM WILL BE SOLVED)

      3. Two people visited, had a look at the AC for 2 MINUTES, only to say that they will turn up next day to solve the problem.

      4. WEDNESDAY EVENING, 2 DAYS AFTER MY COMPLAINT, SOME OTHER TWO PEOPLE ENTER FOR THE REPAIR, AGAIN HAD TO EXAMINE THE A.C SINCE IT WAS THEIR FIRST TIME. SAY THE MOTOR IS FAULTY AND THEY WILL HAVE TO TAKE THE MOTOR TO REPAIR IT.

      5. SUNDAY, A WEEK AFTER MY COMPLAINT WAS MADE, NEXT DIFFERENT PAIR OF SERVICE PERSONAL ENTER, TO FIT THE "REPAIRED" MOTOR.
      AFTER FITTING THE SO-CALLED REPAIRED MOTOR, THE AIR COOLING DOESN'T IMPROVE SO I CHECK FOR ERRORS AGAIN.

      THE UNIT NOW DISPLAYS THE ERROR CODE H-28
      AS OPPOSED TO THE EARLIER F-90

      THESE TWO SERVICE GUYS, SO CALLED PROFESSIONALS, DID NOT EVEN KNOW A SINGLE THING ABOUT ERRORS !!
      AS A MATTER OF FACT, HE HAD TO CALL UP HIS SENIOR TO ASK HOW TO CHECK ERRORS IN THE UNIT.

      AFTER A WHILE OF CONVERSING WITH HIS SENIOR OVER THE PHONE, HE SAYS I HAVE TO TAKE THE SENSOR AS THE SENSOR IS FAULTY. HE WILL COME TOMORROW TO REPAIR IT.

      6. MONDAY EVENING, 7TH MAY 2018, ANOTHER TWO PEOPLE COME TO FIT THE SENSOR, NOW THIS WAS THE 4TH SET OF SERVICE PERSONS TO COME IN FOR REPAIR. BECAUSE THE EARLIER ONES WERE ALL NONPROFESSIONALS, THEY HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THE ISSUE.

      THEY FITTED THE SENSOR AND AS USUAL, I CHECKED FOR ERRORS ( BECAUSE THESE TWO DIDN'T HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE TO CHECK ERRORS FROM THE REMOTE CONTROL AS WELL)

      THE ERROR REMAINED, TO WHICH THEY SAID ITS THE PCB THAT IS FAULTY AND TOMORROW HE WILL REPAIR IT.

      8 DAYS AFTER THE ORIGINAL COMPLAINT WAS MADE, I AM STILL WAITING FOR IT TO BE RESOLVED.

      AND NOW I KNOW FOR SURE, THIS WILL GO ON FOREVER UNTIL I HAVE TO CHANGE MY AIR CONDITIONER TO ANOTHER BRAND BECAUSE OF THE UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL APPROACH OF PANASONIC IN DEALING WITH COMPLAINTS.

      ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF IT WAS THE PCB THAT WAS FAULTY, WHAT WERE THE EARLIER SERVICE PERSONS DOING ?

      WHY DID ONE OF THEM CAME IN AND CHANGE THE MOTOR?

      WHY DID THE NEXT SET OF THEM CAME IN AND CHANGED THE SENSOR ?

      IS THIS THE POLICY OF CHANGING "ANYTHING ONE SERVICE GUY FEELS LIKE" ONLY TO MINT MONEY ?

      HOW CAN A BIG BRAND COMPANY BE SO NEGLIGENT AND IRRESPONSIBLE WHEN IT COMES TO CONSUMER COMPLAINTS AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.

        Had made a complaint regarding the dysfunctioning of the ac's i had bought a year ago and your co.         But, the service provider who visited the site, he analysed only one ac among the 13 and said that the gas has to be filled at our own cost, which is 3000/- rupees, without examining the condenser or other parts. When i asked him to check the other parts due to which the gas was leaked, he refused to examine. Also his behaviour was completely unprofessional and rude. Hence the commitment of the company is not at all honoured.

        Also, as these acs underwent service in the month of february, 2018 and we started operating the ac's now and observed that it is already out of order. So, if we analyse, then the service was completely faulty. And the manufacturing defects were also not resolved such as condenser problem which we got fixed/repair from a local body. We also suffered a huge loss in our business.

        We are completely unsatisfied with the product as well as with the service and the commitment of the company. It's not just the matter of 1 ac. We trusted the company and purchased the bulk of ac's and refrigerators also, but, feel completely betrayed and disappointed. Now, i have no other alternative except proceeding towards the court.

        Panasonic dealer provide false information during selling of product.i purchase window ac of one ton at that time dealer tells that 3 services are free for 3 years but now dealer said that free services is only for 1 year. Panasonic customers misguide there customers.Liars.
        The speaker doesn't work properly. Also the camera quality is pretty bad. The speaker doesn't work while calling someone. Also, the speaker volume varies while receiving the call.

          I had purchased panasonic eluga mobile six month before online through snapdel now from last 15days its not charging so now its very bad service provided by panasonic to me, which lost entire trust on panasonic i am trying to reach care center but there is no any authorised service center i have to access... Please provide me center detail otherwise i will file a case against panasonic company in consumer court...

            I had raised a complaint to repair my panasonic tv on april 14th and till now the tv issue is not fixed.

            Today the panasonic service department has confirmed they can neither repair or replace the tv as its is more than 5 years old.

            Panasonic customer care is the worst customer care support i have ever experienced in my life, i have been through all your technical staffs within this 15 days.

            I need a written confirmation from your that "panasonic product will become end of life in 5 years, neither you can repair or replace the tv after 5 years"

              Dear Sir/Madam,

              This is to inform you that your service partner, M/s Instant Solution Point, Gurgaon had charged 28% GST on the Sparepart for Panasonic Washing Machine. I had enquired with them to understand why they are overcharging but couldn't explain the reason.

              Refer attached invoice. This is totally non-compliance as per my information.

              Kindly look into this case and resolve the issue here.

                I purchase refrigerator 5/04/2018 when i torn off packing of ref. The compressor of ref. Totally damaged. After two days 14/04/2018 service man comes to my home and comment for replacement and after that service center request for extra amount for replacement charges, freight charges etc i call several times (Tool free no. [protected]) but not responding till date 29/04/2018. No replacement, no warrant, no service just like chinese item.

                  I am shubhayu chakraborty, register mobile-[protected], within warranty, machine, problem - not start compressor, your service engineer not attend the complain till now. Complain date 16.04.2018.
                  1st time come your person and tell me capacitor defective 40+2uf/400volt ac but till now he did not attend and rectify the problem. Till i am suffering the problems. Pls. Attend as early as possible. I am not happy your service. For last 5 days i am suffering the problem.

                    We had purchased a Panasonic Split Air conditioner last year on 8th April 2017 from Girias 100 Ft. Road Indira Nagar Bangalore.

                    Model CU-US18SKY-1 / [protected]

                    We had used the air conditioner last year after it was installed and it was used hardly for some 20 - 25 days during April - May 2017.

                    This month when we started using the AIRCON for the first time, we realized that something was wrong as the cooling was not happening. We stopped using the system, unfortunately since we were out of town we could not register a complaint.

                    I registered a complaint on 17th April 2018 # R[protected] and the technician visited my place on 18th at 8.00 PM.

                    On checking the system, he informed me that there was no GAS in the equipment, and that it has leaked off. According to him, he has to first check where the gas is leaking from and then repair it and refill the gas. All this will cost Rs. 3500/-
                    I am utterly disappointing by this, I had purchased a brand with a belief and trust that it will work without any issue at least for a few years. Here in this case, I have hardly used the equipment for 20 - 25 days and it has failed. In fact the equipment has failed during the warranty period, only that I registered a complaint 10 days later. I am also surprised that how the gas has leaked off without anyone touching the system, this means at the time of installation itself, the equipment was not correctly installed by the technician.
                    Like I mentioned, the equipment has failed not because of my heavy usage but due to faulty installation by the engineer when the equipment was installed last year. This unit has cost me over 41, 000 INR, I expect it to work with out any complaints for a few years (at least), I am sure you would also expect the same from a brand like Panasonic.
                    I have been a Panasonic customer since many years and because of the trust in this brand I had purchased the aircon without any hesitation

                    I expect that Panasonic treats this as a malfunction of their unit within the warranty period and provide me a service without charging me anything

                    The technician is expected to visit my place on 21st April to rectify this, appreciate if you can do the needful and instruct the service center not to charge

                      In replace of my 2 old lg split ac -2 tones, purchased 2 split air-conditions on 17.04.2018 from m/s. Khosla electronics pvt. Ltd., dalhousie branch, invoice no. 02924/1819/00519 and 02924/1819/00522. Panasonic installation person came to install the ac but denied to install it and told that i have to place all the cable wires, copper pipes and waste pipes from the beginning as new and for the purpose i have to brake my 2 room’s whole wall and given me the quotation for charges that will levied. I didn’t agree with him and from starting he is asking me that it is inverter ac or not and it is not possible to install in same place where old one was and have to brake the ceiling also otherwise it will not fit here, he wants that i have to brake my whole house for making him space to install 2 panasonic split acs. Further, he told me to do installation from outside person.

                      Please do needful and take necessary action.

                        Even though i bought your premium model of split ac (Panasonic), you are not able to provide me the basic wet service of my ac when i am ready to pay for it. Given you repeated reminders but you are not responding. Therefore if you donot come and complete my wet service of ac then i will have no other option but to approach the consumer court.                           I have purchased a Panasonic 42 inch LED smart tv on 20th February 2018. After using it for a month the TV got some display issue. I immediately contacted the dealer from where i purchased the TV and they raised a complaint with Panasonic regarding the same(Reference No : R[protected].

                          The technician visited my place and checked the TV and said that the display is broken and you will have to get a paid replacement for the same.

                          i was watching the TV when this display issue happened and there was no physical damage from our end but still i was told that the warranty wont cover this.

                          This is really unfair as there was some issue with the TV because of which this happened.

                          I tried to speak to the customer support team about this but they just disconnected the call.

                            Few weeks back i purchased a new panasonic 32' tv in exchange of my old tv of 56'. The customer care in-charge of panasonic at bhadson road patiala, punjab, advised me to exchange your old tv from a prescribed show room at sirhind road in patiala with 4000 deduction. I purchased a new tv from the said show room but the owner of the showroom, in contact with the customer care, told me that he can reimburse only 2000 rs. And you get the remaining amount from the customer care.

                            When i contacted him he asked me that he would send the money at your residence. But when after many days i contacted him to reimburse the said amount, with dilly-dallying attitude, asked me to first send back the stand and remote of the tv which was never discussed earlier.

                            As the matter is of just 2000 rs., i don't need the money. However, i request you to please advise your customer care officer to not to harass the people on fake ground.

                              I m mahnoor shawl from srinagar i have purchased panasonic p99 mobile on december 2017 so i have battery issue and not working in headset. Battery is not charging good many time going to full charge like 3- 4hrs so, what can i do my phone i can go for sevice centre but they are like an # because my phone problem is one and they are returned to my phone many problem like no working of my headset

                                Dear sir,
                                I am an old client of you vide my earlier ticket no: 1314646 dated 12-jan-2014 regarding service problem of eureka forbes vaccum cleaner and thank you very much for the service rendered. Now, recently, on 10-march-2018, i have purchased a smart tv, make panasonic, and model no: 49cx700d. On installing and switching on the tv, we found a vertical line on the centre of the screen. On asking about it, the sales person said that it must be for separating the double pictures or other wise due to non updation of the app on tv or it may go-off after 3-4 days o[censored]se. Even after 4 days o[censored]se, the vertical line has not gone and the same sales person could not get the problem resolved and then we have raised a complaint through him. The sales person had said that, if the problem does n't get resolved, by the panasonic technician, it would be replaced with another piece of same model. After 3-4 days one technician came and opened the back side panel, checked and took some photographs of the panel and sent to the service team. Now they are saying that they will pay back the same amount or asked us to select another model and pay the difference of amount. They are saying that our purchased model is not available and hence, to select another model. Our purchased model is a smart tv and has got 3d, 4k, wifi and net facility available. There is another model 49ex600d, which does n't have the 3d feature and rest all the other features available. Even i was ready to take that model. But they are asking me to pay the additional amount as it is costing more than our model. Request suggest and help me resolve the issue.

                                I had purchased a 49"LED Smart TV on 10-March-2018 from Telangana Agencies, Khammam of Telangana State. Make : Panasonic and Model: 49CX700. After installation by the technician at home, we found a green vertical line appearing on center of the screen. On asking the, the sales person and technician said that it might be due to non updation of the App. or it may go-off after usage. But it has not gone after 4 days o[censored]sing and then we had raised a complaint through the sales person. At the time of buying the TV, we were informed that if any defect or problem on performance of the product, it would be replaced. But now they are saying that the particular model is an old model and it is not available and hence either the amount would be refunded or another model would be issued on charging the additional amount of difference of price. My point is either they should replace it with another piece of same model or if the same model is not available, they should give us another model with same features, without charging the difference of price amount. I had bought this model for Rs.54, 500/- and it has got 3D, 4K with smart TV features and there is another model : 49EX600D, which has same fearures of my present model TV except the 3D and it is costing more than our model and asking me to pay the additional difference of amount. Request help me resolve the issue in the interest of justice.

                                My complaint has not yet been resolved and Mr. Janardhan Pulla of branch Service Manager had spoken to me on my mobile No. and asked me to pay an amount of Rs. 6, 000.00 to get another model : TH-49 EX600D which has all the features same as existing model except 3D, for which I dis agreed to pay the extra amount.
                                I gave my mobile at panasonic care in haryana, rohtak on 9, march 2018 to repair it. but at yet it is not repaired.because company is not sending folder of my phone. i need my phone urgently. plz send folder in care as soon as possible.folder send in two days.otherwise i case on you in court.

                                  We purchased two windows ac (Serial # [protected] & [protected]) in 2017, with extended warranty, and three free ac service during extended warranty from vijay sales, laxmi nagar, delhi.
                                  We logged the service call and mr. Wasim from appserve appliance pvt. Ltd came for servicing on 5/4/2018. Inspite of informing him that the said acs were in extended warranty, he refused to service them unless we pay up-front to him. He charged rs. 708/- towards service of 2 windows acs. During service time my wife was alone at home.
                                  In the evening on 5/4/2018, i noticed that vent leaver of one of the acs was broken and i immediately logged the complaint by sms to the feedback message sent to my mobile # [protected] confirming that the vent lever was broken during service of ac.
                                  I got back call from panasonic 3 - 4 times that they are sending engineer to replace it, but so far no one visited our house.
                                  Today i got call from mr. Wasim from mobile # [protected], that he is coming and his visiting fee of rs. 300/- needs to be paid to him.
                                  I am not able to understand the logic of paying visiting charges to mr. Wasim, as he broke the part during the service and left without even informing.
                                  I cannot expect such poor level of service from a renowned company like panasonic.

                                    We bought inverter model ac 2 years back it was told that warranty includes compressor for 3 years, but now they said some board in the compressor is problem and that doesn't cover under warranty. They say it costs 15000 for a new board and its just 2 years since we bought one. What is this poor quality product? Does that hold a warranty? Do clarify this issue soon

                                      We had purchased slit acc in last year january 2017 along with washing machine.
                                      The company duty is to get record of date and time of service and maintanence.
                                      Here the first three service are free within the period of one year.
                                      The company didn't made proper and even all three service any blaming to customer that it's costumer duty to keep service track and record. The panasonic company and department are not responsible the keep record and schedule of service

                                      On 12th Aug 2017 I received mobile from flipkart. 1st day mobile getting restart then I request a replacement they gave a replacement but after one month replacement mobile also same problem. No proper response from Panasonic still I am helpless..

                                        I purchased Panasonic 1.5 ton window AC (5Star-KC1816YA) last year March, i.e. March, 2017. The last free service was due and i lodged a request to the Customer Care of Panasonic for last free service of my AC on 27.03.2018 and also requested them to provide service on 29.03.2018 as it was a holiday for me. On 29.03.2018 after waiting till 12 noon, i called again to the CC, they informed that the details/ route of service Engineer is not known and gave the Service Manager's mobile no. I called the service Manager and she said that there was some important meeting in the office and the Engineer will visit in the 2nd half. I requested to visit my place by 5.30 PM. Engineers (two persons) came to my house at about 5.15 PM and done servicing of my AC and left by 6.30 PM. I have to go to the market and also visit Doctor's clinic for my daughter’s treatment at 7.00 PM (prior appointment fixed). At the time of going to market, i saw that my wallet was not available in the drawing room. Immediately i asked my wife and daughter about my wallet. They were also confused where is the wallet? We searched all the possible areas of my house and then called the Service Engineer (He has called from the same no.) and tell him about the missing wallet. He (the older one) said that i am searching the pocket of other young person (as the young person was spent some time in my drawing room and the other one was with me in the bed room for servicing the AC). They returned to my house and said that nothing is with them and also showed their bag, tiffin box etc. I requested both of them that if you want then take some money but in my wallet my driving license, RC, Aadhar card and all the debit cards are there, it will be very difficult and time consuming to recover all the important documents again. Both of them left the place then. After that both o[censored]s (wife & me) also went to search the road in front of house and other probable area. After 15 mins, the service Engineer (older one) rang me and said that from the pocket of young one he got Rs.200 (new note) and asked me that i have any new Rs. 200 in my wallet. I said that i have one Rs.200 new note in my wallet (collected and not spent for last few days) and i said i am quite sure the young one has stolen my wallet from my home. After half an hour the older Engineer alongwith another service Engineer of Panasonic and the young one (three) has reached my home and returned my wallet. They said the young one has stolen the purse and taken the money and hide the money in his turban and thrown the wallet near the house where they had done servicing after finishing my AC servicing. Most of the cards and money (so far i can remember) has been returned except one ATM/debit card of Post office. Still the card is missing. Next day was holiday (Good Friday). I have tried to block the card from post office on 31.03.2018, the CC was very busy and after trying half an hour the post office assistant has stated to file a written complaint that the card is stolen and they will try to block it from their computer after sometime. It is also informed that it is very difficult to get another new ATM/ Debit card from Post office in near future as that was very limited.

                                        This is my story. I talked to Service Manager and the Area Manager in this regard. I also requested them to provide me the e-mail ID of the higher authority of Panasonic. That is still awaited from them. I am grateful to the service Engineers who helped me to get back my wallet, the Service Manger and Area Manager too.

                                        The pathetic and poor service provided by Panasonic is not expected. I am still very much tensed whether in future i will get proper support from your side or not. It is also requested that the action taken on the employee (who is guilty) by the Company may kindly be intimated. Panasonic may also help me in getting the ATM card i lost. Looking forward for your early response. What kind of remedies has taken by the company so that this type of incidents never happens in future?
