Updated by Sapjain This is with regard to my complaint with Paytm, even though the matter has been resolved, I would still like to put light to certain aspects of Paytm.
Im a layman, and I didnt know that Paytm has NOT started taking complaints via phone, even though there are hoards of numbers available on the search engine.After making a complaint through the app, they post a mssg that a ticket has been issued as a complaint no.but there is no confirmation on your email.I was left wondering whether its been lodged or not, prompting me to repeat the same procedure 10 times.After a day, still with no response on my email, I was forced to waste another hour or two looking through google to find the right email address of PAYTM.there seems to be a no. Of webpages with their customer care email address, which are not accepted by my email, saying the address is not valid.
Furthermore, I started receiving calls right after midnight from people representing themselves from Paytm, telling me that the matter has been resolved and that I should furnish my debit card no. To re-imburse the said money of conflict.I must have received atleast four calls all through the night, and some more in the morning!
Even though Paytm is everywhere, be it ads on TV or newspaper, or tie ups on e-commerce sites, they have failed to highlight these problems to their customers, when they should given that they have not been able to give a 100% satisfactory and foolproof service.
People can wait to resolve miscripencies, but atleast their should be an acknowledgement on emails and more advertisements bewaring customers of such hackers trying to take you for a ride.
