This has been really frustrating and harassment for me, since last week.
I ordered an AC 'Panasonic CS/CU-KC18RKY2 1.5 Ton 5 Star Split AC (White)' from Paytm on 23rd February, 2016, which was scheduled to be delivered on 1st March, 2016.
On 1st of March, 2016, I received only the outer unit of the AC and not the main AC unit, that fits within the room. Also, the delivery people were horrible and they denied to lift the package to my doorstep, which is at 4th Floor. Moreover, the packaging was unexpectedly, pretty unsafe as the outer unit of the AC was just placed within a cardboard cover without any proper padding for protection.
When I contacted their customer service (Paytm Care), and inquired about the missing AC unit, they mentioned that this is not a normal circumstance and will be investigating the matter. They also mentioned, that once the missing unit is tracked and delivered to me, they will proceed to replace the damaged outer unit of the AC. I received the missing AC unit to me on 3rd March, 2016 and then they mentioned repeatedly, over several calls, that they will now proceed to replace the damaged unit.
However, on 4 March, I received an email from Paytm care, where they asked me to contact the vendor and request to replace the AC unit, (the contact details of the vendor was mentioned at the email). This was very frustrating and an absurd situation for me, as being a heart patient, I am repeatedly placed on tensed situations by Paytm. Moreover, this is a real harassment for a customer, as I should not be bothered about whom to contact. This being their internal issue, I expected them to handle the situation from their end. I purchased an AC and all I need and expect, is, they replace the damaged outer unit of the AC, whereby, the replaced unit should be damage free, complete AC product in a working condition, delivered to me.
At this situation, I had no other options, but to send an email to Paytm care, consolidating all the previous communications (that happened over several emails), along-with the present situation, for their one point reference. However, after that, I have not received any satisfactory messages from their part. I am completely frustrated about their course of action and worry whether my money for the order is wasted or not. In this regard, request you to kindly initiate on this issue at the earliest and please update me on the proceeds. I am really very worried and tensed about the situation.
I feel harassed and deprived and would like them to not only, replace the outer unit of the AC, which is non-faulty and non-damaged, but also, would like to claim necessary compensations, for the harassment till date.
