Recently rs. 1200/- was debited from my account. When i have lodged a complaint in my bank, the following information was given by my bank officials after verification into my account.
I request you to please look into the matter and the check the issue at the earliest.

The disputed transaction was done in a secure environment with vbv password and claimed by the merchant’s bank through visa network. As per visa rules, the cardholder is expected to take up the dispute for refund of the amount with the merchant before we take up the dispute with the merchant’s bank.
Therefore we advise you send an email to paytm for refund of the amount within a specified time, marking a copy to us. We furnish hereunder the transaction details as received from merchant’s bank through visa network.

Sms for blocking debit card-sms to 56161 with message
“cardblock xxxx” (Last four digits of the 15 digit account number)
In case of confirmed debit card transaction fraud, we advise you to immediately get the card blocked by sending mail to [protected]@andhrabank.Co.In.
Advice to be given to all debit card holders:
1. Never share card particulars like card number, expiry date, pin, cvv number with anybody even to calls said to be received from our own bank.
2. Always enter the pin by yourself only. Enter pin secretly so that no one can see the entered pin number.
3. See that card is swiped in your presence only.
4. Register your mobile for alerts. If any unauthorized transaction sms is received, get card blocked immediately by sending sms to 56161 with message “card block xxxx”. (Xxxx in the message is last four digits of account number)
5. Pin no & card should not be kept together.
Kindly contact your merchant for refund of amount.
