I received a mail from below email ID:
PAYU MONEY
It has asked me to deposit Rs. 1200/- towards cancellation charges to process refund of a fraudulent transaction happened 3 years ago. They have provided bank details also.

I want to know whether the email domain is genuine and should I deposit the amount in given bank account?

Below is the exact text and bank account details that I received.

you are informed that this email is related to the transaction done by you in Jobish company which is a fraud transaction, so this money is being returned to you by Pay U Money payment gateway, for which you have to be determined by the government. Service cancellation GST amount will have to be deposited and then your money will be refunded in the same account, the details of the transaction done by you please check and inform us your money will be credited in your account at the same time, Please give us the transaction number after depositing the amount, after that your file will be processed, for this refund you will have to deposit the GST fee of INR 1200 /- Please inform us by email after the process is completed.

      I have a payment on 14th Aug for Rs 9, 425 via CC using payu as gateway to Marol Acedemy

      but school is saying payment is still not received, neither i received the message or do i have transaction id

          Made online payment of rs.2000/- for IIFT EPGIDB course registration on IIFT website. After making payment next screen showing the message of cm90004-duplicate record message. At the same time money was debited and the payment status also not updated.
          The bank from which payment debited is union bank of india showing transaction id[protected]. Hence it is requested to refund my money of rs.2000/- as soon as possible.

Afterwards I know that this is a Fraud Website so I have to cancel my order and want my money back.

                        It's been about ten days since we filed a complaint about Payumoney not working properly, and no one has bothered to react. We've been pursuing the helpdesk for a week, sharing every screenshot, and the expected TAT was September 10, 2021, yet the status remains in progress.

                        We lose money because the majority of our orders come in the first week of each month. In a nutshell, we are also losing consumers on a daily basis.

                                  Respected Sir/Madam,
                                  As IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) use your payment gateway for Online Exam Payment Fees, That's why I am writing this email for further confirmation from your side. Please give your valuable reply after doing investigation & when you are fully confirmed. Your reply may be used as a proof when I will ask for Refund from either your client or my Bank.
                                  28th September 2019 at 01:00 A.M I received a confirmation message from PayU Payments Private Limited that my transition towards Term end examination of June 2019 form fillup payment is successfully completed.
                                  When I tried to pay that amount 450/- inr for the first time... after putting OTP on the payment page it was redirected to a white blank page & a message was poped up - "Session Timeout". Then I tried to execute for the second time & it was successful. My money was deducted for that previous failed transaction too...

                                  According to your client IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) initially they confirmed that they received two payments but after that they started telling me, there is no excess payment received...

                                  First they told me that they received payment Four Times which was not anyway true...In next reply They Told me that they received payment Twice - Which was CorrectAfter that till date they denied again & again, That they received any extra Exam Fees

                                  Here are two possibilities, Either IGNOU will refund me the excess amount if it was successfully passed through your payment gateway or PayuMoney will release the failed transaction amount towards my bank.

                                  I am requesting you to communicate with your client IGNOU to know whether they received two payments or not through your gateway or it may be stuck in your system unknowingly. Right now it's not the matter of 430/-inr Amount. I really want to know where it lost in the era of online banking which is almost impossible. If there is a flaw or corruption in the system then it's a matter of concern for me & I am exploring legal action. So to arrange the case first we need confirmation from all sides then I can make a decision on how to deal with it...

                                    I sent Rs.3768.00 to https://www.rechargedishtv.in/ for paying my annual subscription for renewing my Dish TV account using my credit card through payU portal. This transaction has been confirmed by my credit card service provider, but no acknowledgement from rechargedishtv or, payU. No trans Id given.
                                    Two complaint tickets raised with payU help (Tkt Id.: FF[protected], dt. 10.09.21 and YV[protected], dt. 11.09.21). So far no solution.
                                    Pl. help to get back my money (Rs.3768) transacted to payU.

                                      There was a website named trademeshop.com on which I order a JIO dongle by paying 1500 rupees. Transaction was processed by PayUMoney. Later that website vanished their phone number email ID anything is not working. Why PayUMoney processes the transaction to a fraudulent website.

                                      I paid via UPI on 30th August and transaction ID is[protected] and it transacted into an Axis Bank Account.

                                      I need refund of this money.

It is a merchant who delivers the services and gives a refund/replacement as per their policy in case of any issues. Please contact your bank to raise a chargeback against your transaction/s if the concerned merchant is not providing the services/refund.
