I ordered "Linden 4 Door Wardrobe with External Drawer in Wenge Colour by Spacewood" from Pepperfry on 1st April 2022.

When the carpenters from pepperfry arranged the wardrobe, I found some gaps and faulty lock in the wardrobe. I filed a complaint with Pepperfry. To respond to my complaint, a carpenter assessed the wardrobe and gave the report that the wardrobe was a faulty one. When I requested for a replacement of the product, initially pepperfry agreed for the full replacement later disagreed and was ready to give part replacement. As this wardrobe is made of engineer wood, removing part and replacing will even more damage to the product.

I sent a notice to the pepperfry for either full replacement or refund the money, but didn't receive any reply from Pepperfry.

I have been struggling with Pepperfry for almost a year for a responsible response but till date Pepperfry is so irresponsible and don't care about customer and their pain.

I am attaching the mail conversation and the notice served to Pepperfry for your verification.

Pepperfry as promised over telephonic conversation, initiate the full refund and take the product back. Its been a year since you are harassing customer by not responding to the issue.
I heard from a pepperfry representative name "Vibhav" that they will initiate a refund and will arrange to pick up the product. After that I tried to reach that person in the same mobile no. but no answer or response from that person or Pepperfry.

    We had purchased 3 sets of Huckleberry Solid Wood Dining Chair In Walnut Colour (Set Of 2), By ESTRE from the Kirti Nagar, New Delhi Branch.

    DATE OF PURCHASE : 15th April 2023
    DATE OF DELIVERY : 21st April

    We wanted beige / off-white color and chair sample was not there. The Store manager confirmed the off-white color, and we bought on his recommendation.

    The chairs are GREY. The legs are not sturdy and the finish is sub quality.

    There was no call fromCustomer Service. Finally Golf Course Road Gurgaon store emailed an escalation. CS called and said I cant return the chairs

    The chairs are still in ORIGINAL PACKING. IT IS AN ONLINE STORE and the WEBSITE says RETURN IS POSSIBLE
    Then why am I being hasssled.

    THE CS person said I should go talk to Kirti Nagar as she cant solve this!! Extremely bad service by Pepperfry.

    RESOLUTION WANTED - Please take these chairs back. I am also open to STORE CREDIT FOR ONE YEAR duration.

      Pepperfry delivered a broken mirror on 24th Feb. since then I asked for either a refund or exchange. Their customer service team is the worst. I have been calling them and sending them emails since then, but they haven’t done anything. All they keep saying is we are experiencing technical issues, and now they have closed my case, without doing anything about it.

        Hi, I placed an Order SKU. FN2074825-S-PM35904 on 24-April-2023 and cancelled the same order within few minutes. However, customer care charged 2.5% as cancellation charge, even though the order is not confirmed or order not packed or order not dispatched.

        This is unfair. For what reasons are they charging cancellation fee. This is very wrong means of making money.

        Kindly look into it.

          I had purchased a gift card worth Rs. 20, 000 as a birthday gift for my friend. My friend has not been use the gift card to make payments for her purchases made online from Pepper fry.

          We both have been chasing Pepper fry since yesterday morning. Have written details mail to their customer service. spoken to 5 different people and narrated the same story just to her that they will get back in 24 hrs. already 36 hours have elapsed.

          Attached is copy of invoice and error message from their website.

            I have ordered an product kuruma 2 door wardrobe with order no[protected]. Later I cancelled the order die to quality issues.I have payed full amount and opted for monthly emi.When cancelled, emi should be cancelled and full amount should refund.But pepperfry has not cancelled my item fully.Intead it cancelled partially and it opted for partially emi and full amount not refunded to me. when I contacted customer care, they are telling one story daily.

            I want full refund my order.

              I bought a table last summer from Pepperfry online (Order ID-SKU ID :[protected]FN1936472-P-WH37595, Order Date: 22 July 2022) and it has been developing some white patches on the table top (attached pics).
              Request item to be serviced as it is still under warranty. Cant reach out to the customer service of Pepperfry.

                I bought a bed last summer and the supporting ribs broke in a few days of purchase. I got it repaired by complaining it to Pepperfry.

                Now the same issue has happened and I have been denied any repair/return as Pepperfry claims the bed has been damaged due to usage, which does not make sense.

                Since this is a recurring issue, I request to initiate a return of the bed.

                    HI,

                    I ordered a bed and mattress both bough form pepperfry on 4th April 2023. I have received the bed on 6th April and mattress on 11th April
                    The mattress was bigger than the bed and on the same day i reported the situation to the pepperfry customer care with photos. After that I have been asked to provide video with measuring tape and some more photos which I have provided on 13th April 2023. then I have been told my issue will be resolved in 48-72 hours.. and till today 5 days later there is nothing has been done from pepperfry or mattress vendor. on17th April I had a long call with customer representative from pepperfry who assured me she will get back to me within 24 hours. But today even I called them twice and there was no response from their side.

                    It is harassment and a very bad experience from pepperfry customer care, as there is no other authority board sitting in customer care who is monitoring the response. Now I would like to cancel the bed and create a new ticket for bed refund. But at the same time, I would like to put this issue in consumer court. requesting consumer care society to help in assist with the same.

                      My name is Mrs. Bini Mathew and had purchased a bed and mattress for the first time from Pepperfry store at Velachery, vide order number[protected].

                      We were helped by Mr. John from the store, who was very helpful and guided us. We were to pay full cash for the purchase, but he informed us of emi options, which were of nil cost. We decided to avail it, after being assured that there was no cost in having it converted to 6 month emi.

                      After availing it, after two days, the credit card Bank, ICICI Bank, informed of a processing fee of INR 199. On raising this with the Pepperfry store, I was informed by Mr. Jagdish, that this is a Bank induced cost. When i asked him why this was not informed, he reverted by saying that it was charged by the Bank and not by Pepperfry and hence, was not informed to us. I told him that when you are advertising an EMI scheme for a product purchased from the company, it is their responsibility to inform on all costs involved, including interest and any fees, but he kept on stating that they are not responsible for charges levied by Bank They are not willing to accept that when EMI is availed through them, they are responsible to inform consumer on all costs and charges, and that Bank is responsible only if we approach the Bank to convert a purchase to EMI Plus, Bank is even charging GST on the interest from my account, despite the interest being absorbed by Pepperfry and which is an additional cost. Repeated mails to Pepperfry customer care has led to same response that they are not responsible for informing their clients on costs of their Banking partners. This has led to me being charged in excess, due to the fact that Pepperfry was not transparent and withheld information on the EMI costs that was being offered by them. Please help to address this matter and company to be highlighted on the need to inform client on all costs for schemes that they are advertising.

                        I placed an order with Pepperfry on 12 April 2023 with an amount of 44844 Rupees. As a part of their “CASHBACK OFFER” i received 8338 credits. The site claims that 1 credit = 1 Rupee. The credits also had an expiry period of 14 days. However when you try to use the credits to place an order, you are only allowed to use credits worth 25% of the price of the product you are trying to purchase. The hidden terms and conditions don’t end there, the maximum credits used per transaction are only 500. Which means i will have to place a minimum of 16 orders from Pepperfry each with a minimum value of 2000 Rupees, for the credits to be actually beneficial.

                        After finding all of this out I cancelled the order in frustration of being cheated. The scam doesn’t end there, you are levied a 2.5% Cancellation Charge for cancelling the order. I cancelled the order within 30 minutes and i was unnecessarily charged a fee of 1122 Rupees. Why should i be charged when none of the “Cashback” usage policies are clearly mentioned while placing the order, or even in the confirmation mail you receive after placing the order.

                        This “CASHBACK SCAM” is meant to trap users to buy expensive furniture and get stuck in a relentless cycle of buying from Pepperfry.

                          I am very badly trapped and deceived by pepperfry team.

                          I bought lots of furniture for my new house. Had issues with all products. It seems like all used products are getting sold by pepperfry.

                          I raised issue regarding Virsko leather upholstered armchair in brown by amberville (order no[protected]

                          The legs had cracks and were also unbalanced. Also the leather had many wrinkles and scratches. By looking at product, it clearly looks like a used product.

                          I raised many complaints for which they took chairs for repairs. They are so unprofessional that they painted the cracks and send it to us again. On raising complaint again, they took the sofa again to repair. I have been trying to get resolution since 2 months, but didn’t get any reply.

                          The customer care either don’t call back or just gives excuses.
                          They also don’t reply on mails.

                          I am totally blank what to do. The total cost of the product is rs 65000.

                          I feel it is a complete scam. They do Nice sale advertisements but don’t have any quality check. And complain, return or refund mechanism is just an eyewash.

                          I strictly recommend not to buy any product from pepperfry.

                            when i have purchased a product " Vesta study table " from pepperfry they said if any defects on the table they will replace the product.
                            There are huge cracks appeared last year on the table after file a complaint to customer support team they have asked to share photo and the technician visited and confirmed it is not repairable they exchange the product by the time the replacement product came to Bangalore warehouse i have went back home due to medical reasons so they have closed the case and now after asking the pepperfry team to send the replacement product to deliver they has sent technician again and technician said they will replace the product but today the customer support team has not agreed to replace instead of getting the product repaired.
                            The team is so unprofessional with a brand like Pepperfry.

                              I am really disappointed the way your customer care team has handled the issue. There is a manufacturing defect in the delivered product and its been more than 15 days but pepperfry team just keeps telling me that within 24 hours it will be resolved. But after every 24 hrs again 24-48 hrs are added. Its just running in a loop.
                              The technician visit arranged by your team also happened 15 days back where Pepperfry’s technician himself agreed that there is a defect and it should be returned. Still there is no action taken, every time I myself have to reach out to customer support who are not empowered to do anything else other than adding couple more days for resolution.
                              It has been going into a loop, I think thats the strategy of Pepperfry team, one day the customer herself will give up as no one has so much of time and energy.
                              Please check this issue on priority

                                We have given our flat interior work at pepper fry, gachibowli hyderabad. We have ordered in January 2023. There is no clarity of time line of work to be completed. Nobody from pepper fry team is responding. Neither they attend the calls nor respond. We have paid the whole amount for the interiors.
                                Still there is no clarity when they will complete the work. Its been more than a month they started the work. Still not yet completed. Kindly request the team to take forward and fasten the work.

                                  Needless to quote one of the worst customer care service of the brand. I knew must be quite a habitual for the brand as while going through " consumer complaints website" see numerous issue against the portal, really cursing as what compel us to buy furniture from the site . However as a SOP, being a second phase of escalation chart to opt for the option .

                                  Synopsis :-
                                  Pathetic customer care interactions / no call back for weeks / even had to change mobile number to ensure call back
                                  Engineer visited after complaining for broken chair.
                                  Admitted by the concern visiting, that issue is associated with poor manufacturing quality and defect .
                                  The photos shared with the brand of the commodity.
                                  No resolution provided till time and on the top of that customer care interacted into from different number put all blame for the broken on us to escape liability.
                                  He was singing a different tone from the technician visited.
                                  Where is the guarantee / warranty policy standing of the company don"t know ?

                                    I purchased a bed from pepperfry in Jan which they were not ready to cancel earlier then this bed is broken and they are denying service as my location is changed but I am in same city just 2 km from pervious location and bed is in warranty and they never told that they will give service on same location as delivered neither its written in terms and conditions when I asked where it's written they said they dont mention its policy

                                      I bought King size bed after visiting the studio, trusted you guys and booked it.

                                      It got delivered on time but of poor quality.I haved placed return request and it is still pending from last one week .

                                      Simran Rasika case manager just delaying the things.they are not properly responding and they have asked for another 24 hours.seems that will not help.

                                      Is there a way can some one look into it and I can get my money back.

                                      Sorry to say this, it's really worse experience that I had with Pepperfry.I will never ever buy from Pepperfry.

                                      Last help take.return request and reimburse my amount.
