I just placed an order on pepperfry, but because of payment issue, had to cancel it immediately within 5 mins. But to my surprise it is showing 2.5% cancellation charge, !! This is unethical to say the least and kind of cheating. Nowhere it is mentioned while placing the order about cancellation charges and in small letters mentioned in TnC. Please refund my money asap.

    Order[protected] GIVE MONEY BACK It is not even a month and your products are fully covered by fungus in and out. It all started after a week but I ignored it as much as possible. But it is increasing drastically and now the whole wardrobe is covered by fungus.
    Now even the bed and another cupboard have also started catching fungus which I had ordered by mobile number [protected]. Take everything back. Already I am suffering from fungus because of your quality, now I don't want my baby or anyone else in my house to suffer from such a disease.
    I have attached the photos of your product, the order Id and my child's photo please go through it
    You said you will resolve this issue on Playstore and so I emailed you. Now resolve this issue and until it gets resolved, take your products back urgently because if my 3-month-old baby got any infection or harm from your product, it will be wholly your responsibility.
    Already I got fungus on my body by using clothes kept in your wardrobe.

      I have ordered sleep company Matress from pepperfry app and it was clearly mentioned on product page that if product is damaged it is applicable under 7 day return policy from pepperfry. And the Product which i received was damaged .I filed a complaint on same day on 5 th august and since then they are delaying my request

        Hi,
        I placed the order for Atomberg Renesa 1400mm 32 BLDC Ceiling fan on 27th July 2022 by paying ₹ 3, 854 online completely.

        A wrong product was delivered to my door step in mysore on Tue, 02nd Aug'22 through Xpressbees Tracking ID: [protected](Xpressbees). Just by looking at the Size of the product I was doubtful.

        Once I opened the outer package it was clear, I was cheated and they delivered a wrong product of the same company with fans having 1200mm. I immediately raised the complaint (No:[protected] with customer support for cancellation/ refund.

        Its be marathon calls to no avail ; the seller is not contacting neither I am getting my money back the product is lying at my home with package intact excepted for the outer cover.

        I need all the help to recover my money at the earliest.

        I Already bought the same fan at a local store day before yesterday on independence day sale for lesser price at Rs 3200/- as this is complaint was not going anywhere and I have made up my mind to fight this case and secure my refund.

        Hi,

        I am not getting any resolution. Every time a support person calls he doesn't even has the case background tries to talk whether PCB is wrong or panel is not working. I need to explain my case again and again then he will hang up saying his lead or manager will call up in next 5 minutes. Then again the cycle starts.

        I want this wrong product out of my house and need a complete refund. Its been more than 20 days doing the follow up...

          My order number is[protected]. I have ordered Braco King Size Bed With Box Storage In Wenge Finish By Mintwud and it was defective. I have placed 8-9 complaints for pick up but every time their support team and warehouse team come up with some excuses. Now they stopped responding to emails and calls. I have raised the issue on 31 July 2022 they have get the bed dismantled on aug 1 and till now its laying in my bedroom. Nobody is repsonding. My 18k is strucked with company. Such a pathetic service and zero customer care support. Horrible experience.

            We are extremely disappointed with the order with I sleep seven, supra reversible mattress from pepperfry. They have named a single bed as queen size bed, and after ordering and paying the price they bring a single bed to my house. I never asked them to return, but all I needed was a replacement of mattress from single to queen size and I was more than willing to pay the balance amount. These people have no concern about customers loss, it literally doesn't fit my bed and I will have to shell out my money again to buy a queen size bed. Expected Pepperfry to have good quality vendors. I have lot trust on buying things online. This has been the worst experience! I want this to be replaced with queen size mattress and I shall pay the balance amount.

              This is regarding Queen size bed we had ordered from Pepperfry online portal (https://www.pepperfry.com/) and which got delivered on 14th July.

              There was a defect in the bed delivered . Storage section of the bed was having clear gap and after a week we saw small cockroaches coming from those gaps hence we initiated a return on 29th July 2022.

              A CS agent called and asked me to capture the bed defect in image and a small video and email it on [protected]@pepperfry.com after which a ticket will be created by us and and a technician visit will be assigned and then we can process the return and refund process. Technician visit happened and we explained him the issue . He agreed to the defect, captured it and told the same to his supervisor in front of me and informed that CS team will connect with you for further process.

              CS agent called and said that there is no issue reported by our technician and therefore we will close the ticket . I disagreed and asked CS agents that there is a confusion and called the technician and put him in the conference call . Technician agreed but there was no response from CS agents and call was cut. I received the CS agent call today on 3rd August 2022 and was told to email my issue again so a new ticket will be created as previous ticket got closed because wrong technician feedback was submitted .He also told that we will do a follow up from the previous technician visits only . Few hours later today I received a call from CS agent from Pepperfry and told nothing can be done on this and you have to adjust with the defected product.

              Attached are the pics and short video of the bed highlighting issue faced by us. I have a big problem with the installation of Storage boxes where its lower wooden plates are simply kept on the floor and not fitted to the bed due to which a clear gap is created from where we have experienced the issue. Kindly help us with this issue as there is no accountability being set and customer is being harassed.

              No solution oriented approach from Pepperfry Customer Support Team.
              Not interested in resolving customer concern.
              If product shown and described on there portal is different from what they delivered, than for Pepperfry it is not a a defect and as per there policy it cannot be returned.
              No customer centric or caring policy.

                Misleading Advertising- Cashback Scam

                With regards to the Pepperfry Flash Sale using the coupon code "Flash"
                The advertised message says 100% cashback (see first image).
                I even asked the Pepperfry customer service if there is any catch or hidden clause before making the purchase on order.
                And I was told there is none and that within 24 hours the refund would be made on my pepperfry wallet.
                Tried looking for the terms and conditions which I could not...

                I purchased the product from the pepperfry, but as product was not matching with our room asthetics and doesnt look good as per web image and also width of the product was more than we desired, we wanted to return the product.
                But Product cant be returned . As per executive from the pepperfry
                1. My return request got autoclosed with out any information to me and seems like attempt has been made to exceed 7 days. so that it will come underpolicy to not return the product beyond 7 days.
                2. "Product is same what I ordered, and as per company policy we cant return the product " -- This I hear a standard reply. Every ecommerce delivers the product what we order, what so special about pepperfry!!!
                Where is my opinion.??. I dont like the product, it is no use of me, it is lying packed in a corner of my room, I doesnt matching my room asthetics, dimesions are not proper, thichness I dont like, color of the product looks odd to me...???where are this consideration.?
                3. Please help me to return this product. I swear I will never ever order from such a ecommerce, who just want to extort money and providing very poor quality of service. Very true why economy is falling down because of this practices

                  I have order from pepperfry.My order number is[protected], but at same time my family member made the same order because in order[protected], i was getting the message of transaction fail from pepperfry, so i had order the same product from different account and the order no is[protected]. So, i canceled the previous order[protected]. So, they refunded the amount but they cutted the 2.5% in it, which should not be done because i have already bought the same thing and the other would be useless. You guys can not do that.

                    Unethical and Customer Exploitive tactics - Cancellation charge of 2.5% even if you cancel after 5 minutes.

                    Buying Experience - I have ordered one Mintwood Computer Desk for WFH worth price was Rs. 10, 853. I made the payment with my credit card; and the order was placed immediately.

                    Ordered one analog wall clock . Product dimension mentioned in app was 10.5 inches. But I received it smaller in size. Multiple calls, multiple chats, mails, sent the product pics with measuring tape also . Going thru hell from last 3 days . And today at last got call that the product is right in dimension. Will share images, any one can tell that it's small in size a mentioned by them . It's sheer torture and online theft . Not expected by company well known like them . But highly disappointed and faced trauma, torture by them . Sheer agony . Hope will get some positive solution regarding this soon . 🙏

                      Guys never shop from fraud company named pepperfry as
                      i ordered from pepperfry order no[protected] decorative wall clock worth 5100 rs after discount but I recieved wrong product for which I even have unboxing video as proof and instead of providing resolution they have accused me of lying instead. very poor. i suggest every one to never shop from pepperfry. they are frauds and they have insulted humiliated and mentally harrased me. i m looking forward to file consumer court case against pepperfry as they denied to provide resolution

                        I bought a wardrobe from pepperfry website (order number[protected] which was swiftly delivered to me. Next day I was shocked when I checked the quality of wooden board. It was mere 12 mm board and a thin cardboard supposed to be used as its back. I refused the assembly and immediately made a return/refund request. The customer care executive gave me another shock when he said they can’t do anything about it and it won’t be taken back. Upon asking, he said customer disliking/Dissatisfaction can’t be the reason for product return. I went to furniture
                        Market to check the average size of board used in same type of wardrobe and it came out to be 18mm for the main frame and 10mm for the back. Upon asking why don’t pepperfry mention wooden board size, they said it’s their in house brand and these are their standard measurement (which is itself not sturdy).
                        Please don’t make fool of atleast fresh customer.
                        Please refund my money and take your unused product back.

                        I have made complaint both directly to the company and from this platform but sadly nobody is bother to contact me. Mails are also sent to the pepperfy but no calls from company yet.
                        FYI. The false claims advertised by pepperfry on internet
                        “No questions asked on return”

                        However when I asked for return, instead of asking any questions, they simply denied it

                          I ordered a gaming chair last year on 24th August from pepperfry.com. The order ID for the same was :[protected] and costed me 11076 rupees.

                          A few months back I started having issues with the chair. The upper layer of fabric started to come off. The recliner lock mechanism is also not working which means the back of the chair reclines even with very less force (which means I cannot take back support and started having pain in my lower back).

                          I contacted customer support and they were kind enough to arrange a carpenter visit for me. The carpenter visited me and checked out the chair and told me he cannot fix it. He also asked for 100 rupees to write the same thing in his review and inform his superior this very thing. He told me this is my only chance to get replacement of the defective product.

                          I paid him 100 rupees and contacted back the customer care. He told me there is nothing more he can do and cannot replace the product. When I asked to provide me contact information for their superiors, he refused me.

                            I had purchased a product worth around 25000 in pepperfry and cancelled as it was not required. I was expecting refund in bank account as Amazon kind of ecommerce send refund to Bank account. Pepperfry had put the money in pepperfry wallet which i am not aware. I made a small purchase to check if I can use that wallet amount. So i utilized 200 rupees out of 25000. I then enquired if I can get the available balance in wallet to my bank account. They agreed initially but upon checking during transfer they said since you have utilised 200 rupees we cannot transfer any amount back. So this means i can only utilise the amount for pepperfry purchases now. They are claiming that i since I had utilised partial amount, turning the blame on my end they are unable to refund. No consumer will be aware about these internal rules of pepperfry. This is system issue from their end for which consumer must not be affected.

                              Hi, I placed and order #[protected] on 12-july-2022 at 8.05am and cancelled the same order within 2 hours. However, customer care charged 2.5% as cancellation charge, even though the order is not confirmed or order not packed or order not dispatched.

                              This is unfair. For what reasons are they charging cancellation fee. This is very wrong means of making money.

                              Kindly look into it.

                                I had purchased an Oriel Solid Wood Single Bed with Storage from Pepperfry on 20th February 2020.
                                Item ID is FM1694477-S-WH32491.
                                The amount paid for this product is Rs.25399 including all taxes which also has a warranty of 3 years. On 19th of June, the support between the two ends of the bed broke in between as there appeared a crack. So, on 22th June, a furniture specialist had visited and checked and observed the furniture and then concluded that the damage is irreparable and that it can only be replaced. On 23rd June, we received a mail stating that the product will not be accepted for repair/return as it has been damaged due to our usage. I wonder, How can a wooden cot break due to our usage? This is completely meaningless and baseless claim put forth by Pepperfry Officials, even after the furniture specialist referring for a replacement after thorough inspection. Now, even after sending them multiple mails regarding the same, we aren't getting any response as a matter of solution to this problem.
                                Even though this product was expensive, we had only purchased it thinking that as it came from a reputed company like Pepperfry, it would last longer. This kind of response was not expected from such a company. Hoping that necessary action will be taken by the concerned authorities or else we will be forced to seek legal advice.

                                We had posted a complaint in consumerscomplaints.in regarding the broken support of our Wooden Single Bed. Item ID is FM1694477-S-WH32491 and order number is[protected]FM1694477-S-WH32491.On July 2, 2022 the Pepperfry Customer Care had contacted us and one of their executives had reached us via call and assured us that he will look into the matter. After 2-3 days, we received a call from him and he assured us that the broken part will be replaced and it will be done within 2-3 days approximately .But few days later, we received a call from him and he said that the replacement won't be done by Pepperfry and all the repair and replacement work including the expenditure must be undertaken by ourselves. This is completely unacceptable and irresponsible response from Pepperfry even though our product is still in warranty. We are behind this case since many days and still no solution is being provided. It has been a traumatic experience running behind this case and still getting no positive response.

                                  I just paid an amount of 21820/- on pepper fry, but the order shows cancelled. I did everything to recover the money from them or atleast place my order. They are not helping, 21820 is a very big amount. I trusted this company. I want my money back or the order to be placed. This is such a scam.
