I face very bad experience with Pepperfry team. They are not professional and prompt to help. I contacted many times in last 6 days to update my shipping details and to follow-up with courier company but they failed to do the needful and product dispatched to wrong location. However to resolve the issue I also contacted courier company to update the details and they raised complaint in their system. Due to Pepperfry team's unresponsiveness the product which should have delivered in 2 days is still not receive and I don't know how many days it still take. My feedback for Pepperfry is: Unprofessional company, irresponsible customer support and ineffective processes and rules. With all these combine this is not recommended shopping portal for customers who want smooth and quick shopping experience. More importantly the product quality still to be check once it receive ...

    1. This is a complaint against the non delivery of goods against Order Number[protected] KITCHEN QUEEN STORAGE CONTAINER SET -- 58 PIECES.
    2. This is after repeated calling the Pepper Fry numbers and speaking to Arpit who kept talking smoothly and finally tells that nothing can be done. Repeated request to speak to the Senior officials in the Company have been replied to as " We will arrange for a call back" which is yet to fructify.

      I had placed an order for wardrobe against which full amount was paid. To know the status of delivery I had called several times to customer care rather than somebody from pepper fry updating me and let me add the attitude of the representatives was also unacceptable. Finally I have received an uninstalled wadrobe with no way forward for installation. With whom to follow? Is it customers to follow up, write mail, do multiple request call for an installation which is pepperfry job whom I have paid. This is nothing but consumer haraasment.

        We ordered Housefull George book case from Pepperfry on 22nd March 2014 worth Rs 8355. We received the product on 12th April i.e. 20 days after placing the order.
        The product description mentioned the product to be made of Engineered wood, but when we received the product, the back was made of very thin cardboard sheet.
        We called the customer support on 13th april (within 24hours of receiving the product), but the customer support representative Pratik started giving lame reasons to not take the product back. Few reasons cited are:
        1. Any furniture a consumer buys from Pepperfry even big wardrobe, the back will be made of cardboard sheet.
        2. He said furniture are made to order and Pepperfry does not accepts return of furniture. But the product home page, http://www.pepperfry.com/housefull-george-book-case-1102003.html?pos=1:1, does not mentions this policy. It says products can be returned within 24hours and at some penalty after that.

        I called customer support once more, a lady picked up the call. She gave me a different reason and said there is no return policy. Website says products can be returned within 4 days upon receipt of order. how can a customer place a return order when he or she has not received the product.

        When I called pepperfry third time, same guy Pratik picked up the call and now he gives us a different reason of not returning the product.

        Pepperfry in this way is cheating a lot of customers. I hope this complaint will guide other customers. Please do not buy any furniture from Pepperfry.

          I have purchased SKU#AK1001092-S-PM1511 Item#Famous / Flora / Apex All in One Fruits & Vegetable Juicer with order number #[protected] with cost#399. The picture showing it contains steel juice peeler. But, they provided glass peeler inside of juice maker. Which is of less quality & less efficient to extract juice. This will not worth what they are collecting from us. Please take sever action on this company & ban it from marketing.

            Sir, Its been 3 months since i am trying hard to get my query resolved. I had purchased an earphone for Rs 1600.The product was good but there was no warranty card in the package. After using that earphone for 2 months, i stated facing issues. It worked correctly on one side but the other side went numb. When i tried to claim my warranty, they are asking for my warranty card. Since i don't have anything except for my product and my e-bill. The service center is true to their sides as they would be needing a warranty card for providing service.But this online merchant www.pepperfry.com is delaying to answer. They have stopped replying my emails. Neither do they answer my calls properly. I am submitting my order details. Sir please take time to go through it once. It has all the required details available. The service center denies the ebill which i have . They say that I dont have a proper warranty card. Since my earphone is too expensive, I have to get it corrected within my warranty cycle. Please help. I am fed up with my online shopping experience. Regards Piyush Narkhede

              Hello.

              I have ordered Nakasa Minijet 12 stage water purifier which I paid by Credit Card.

              1. While accepting delivery, I could here loose parts noise but outer packaging was proper. I called Customer Support, they advised me to accept the delivery as packaging isnot a problem. If I do'nt accept the product then, I will be charged 5% of the cost. So I accepted the product.

              2. After opening the outer packaging, I found that the product box was wait on one side and soiled too. I again called customer support. They told me to open the box and send the photos of product.

              3. I opened the product and to my horror, I found the completely used, old, dirty product inside. I took snaps and sent it to Pepperfry.com email id - [protected]@pepperfry.com which I did.

              4. Now they are saying, you package it properly and send it back and we will pay you Rs 150 whereas actual shipping cost is Rs 600.

              I have checked with local Police Station, they told me to file the FIR against cheating. Not sure what to do.

                The Cayenne Classic entertainment unit displayed on the website, only had the main dimensions of the piece - the length X Breadth X height displayed (no dimensions of shelf sizes for gadgets given). When we received the unit we realized that the shelves do not fit a standard size 16 inch DVD player (most DVD players in the market are of this size). We called Pepper Fry to exchange this item for another item that would suit the dimensions that we require, and they said that they could cancel the order, take back the item and we can place a fresh order for a separate item. 10 days later, after continously following up with them (they never call back, respond to emails etc), they finally say they cannot take back the item, and keep giving different reasons each time we speak to them - their range of reasons being - 'there are no 'standard size' DVD players in the market, the 'shelves' are not for gadgets specifically center, I have to keep screaming at them to escalate the call. I have finally managed to speak to a 'Manager' after again a further 1 week of screaming at them, and even he tries to argue that if the piece was 'damaged' they can send a carpenter to fix it, but if the shelf dimensions are not as we expected (obviously we expected 'standard ' dimensions since the dimensions were not given anywhere on the website) - they cannot take back the item.And all of this when I as a customer, do not even want a refund - just to return in exchange for another item, because of their website not giving specific information.This is extremely unprofessional especially in the area of online shopping as they have neither displayed relevant info on their website, nor made the goods to standard specifications, nor are willing to even exchange as per the customers requirements. To add to all of this, they are extremely unresponsive, either over email or phone, and have even mis-represented facts - their call center records, seem to carry the statement 'damage during transit which can be fixed by carpenter' and they have also stated this reason over email, through in all my communication - email and phone, I have mentioned that my issue is with the non-standard sizes of the shelves.(then why would they have holes in the back for cables??), etc etc, and each time I manage to get through their call center, I have to keep screaming at them to escalate the call.                   COMPLAINT NUMBER 00520915 This is regarding order number[protected]. I ordered a 'Springfit Posture Collection DX Gold 6 Inches Bonnel Spring Mattress-King - 75 x 72 x 6' for which the stated MRP was Rs. 18, 544/- on which i used a coupon code BASANT25 which gave me a discount of Rs. 4636, after which the price came to 13, 908. The mattress which I received is the ''Springfit Posture Collection DX' (not GOLD) has a printed MRP of Rs. 14244/-. Which would have come to We were grossly overcharged. What we purchased: MRP: 18, 554 Discount: 25% Net Price Paid by us: 13, 908. What we received MRP: 14, 244 Discount: 25% Net Price payable: 10, 683 Refund Amount: 13, 908 - 10, 683 = Rs 3225. I spoke their customer care representatives Deep, Wajid and tahira and sent countless emails.. I also sent a picture of the label of the mattress. Since the mattress which sent is of the MRP 14, 244/-, we should be refunded me the promised 25% discount (Rs. 3255) on this price from the price we have already paid. Wajid called me 4 days back promising a replacement with the actual product in 10-15 days, after which i wrote to them expressing I am not comfortable with that considering how unresponsive they have been.. I was promised a response in a maximum of 48 hours. It has been 3 days now. I called them again and spoke to tahira and mentioned that I dont want a replacement now, i am exhaused chasing them. I ordered the mattress for visiting guests, but now that purpose is not being solved as by the time they promise to send the actual mattress (if at all they do), our guests would have left. I don't want to deal with this pathetic organization for any longer, I don't want a replacement.. i only want a refund of the amount I have been cheated of.. Rs 3225/-.. the difference in the price of what I paid for and I got after a 25% discount.

                    I will give no stars if I could for pepper fry. I bought 50, 000 worth furniture from this website. When the item arrived almost 1 month after I ordered, It looked different than online pictures. I contacted their customer service to see what the return policy is. They said they don’t take returns on furniture. I contacted their customer service several times before buying, Nobody mentioned that to me. I did not even see any information about return policy on their site. Now I am stuck with furniture I did not like at all. Over all a very bad experience. Will never buy from this website in future.

                      I have ordered through pepperfry.com for the Picano chair - 2 nos, paying Rs.4300 online on the 20th Jan 2014. My order No. is[protected]. On 30/01/2014, I received the parcel through the Blue Dart Courier service. While I unpacked, I was shocked to see one chair damaged very badly and the other one was also looking quite old & untidy. Immediately I called up Pepperfry Customer care and conveyed the details. The same day I have also emailed all the photographs of the condition of the consignment received. Though there was a Customer relation Manager Ms. Suchitra who was assigned for my order, when I tried to reach her several times, I got only a recorded message that either she is busy with some customer or out of office. There was no clear feedback as to what is the status of my complaint till 1st Feb 2014 where I received a mail from Ms. Suchitra stating that she was trying to reach me and asking for what needs to be done. I have asked her to suggest a suitable action for my loss of time, money and mental peace. She came back on phone only on 6th Feb 2014 and demanded that if I need replacement, I need to send back the chairs first to them and after 20 days they would ship the replacement or If I claim replacement, they would do so only after taking back the products from me. When I have trusted Pepperfry, paid the full amount & waited for the delivery, I should get the replacement or refund first before taking back the damaged goods. But my request is denied bluntly. This is my first transaction with PEPPERFRY and I am strongly of the opinion that I have fallen in the trap of a fraudulent online shopping company.

                        I booked Cassia Alluring King Size Bed vide above order reference number on 30th Dec, 13 and got it delivered within 24 days i.e. on 23rd Jan, 2014 and I was happy that goods reached me before committed time

                        When the box was opened for assembly, noticed visible crack on exterior side and various other issues like nuts jumping thread, 3'x6'.5" two-sheets provided was of poor quality, the wood texture and colour was not ok. I reported the issue with photographs on same day at email_ids: [protected]@pepperfry.com, [protected]@pepperfry.com, customer.[protected]@pepperfry.com, [protected]@pepperfry.com. The first two were relationship managers contact_id

                        I tried to reach @[protected]releationship managers ) and found it to be always on voice message with assurance to call back which never happened. I tried to reach on[protected]customer service) and several other contact numbers but in vain

                          Hi, I had ordered my product from Pepperfry & it was delivered in broken & damaged condition. It was not at all fit for use so I called up the customer care immediately to lodge a complaint. My complaint was registered & I was asked to mail them the pics of the damaged product at their customer care email id. Upon reviewing those pictures they requested me to courier the product back to their New Delhi store, which I did by DTDC on 13th Dec'13.I kept requesting them for confirmation of reciept & refund initiation. Till date they are asking me to wait as they are still to get confirmation of receipt from their Delhi office. I have provided them the dispatch details from DTDC which clearly indicates the delivery & receipt by their office staff with seal on 20th Dec'13. I am continuosly following for refund but same pretyped robotic answers, This is totally unacceptable. I have never experienced such a lack luster & negligent response. It has already been 3 weeks since I couriered the material back and the DTDC confirmation already confirms the delivery at your store on 20th Dec'13 which is already 2 weeks back. I cant understand how long it will take for them to get confirmation from their own store in today's world. I must admit the response from their side & my overall experience has been worst till date. I cant take anything positive to anybody from this purchasing experience. Hope to get the refund ASAP. Order #[protected]

                            Its very poor company. First time i ordered 2 items from pepperfry and got only 1 item from those. And the item I received was damaged. When I logged complaint to replace the item then pepperfry said we can not replace. They send me form and said to courier us back the item we will refund or keep the item we will give u 100 Rs. Pathetic company what I will do with that 100 Rs. ???? Should I put that 100 rs. on damaged item then item will be fine??? Its your duty if item is damaged then you replace it or check before sending. I am very upset with pepperfry. My complaint no is[protected] Why should I take pain & hassle to send u back damaged item and send u courier and receipts??? Its ur duty pepperfry. I will never erver purchase any item from this site and will say to my frnds also to never purchase from this site. Other site like flipkart are very much better then pepperfry. They change the item if its damaged.

                              I have ordered Sheesham Wood Slanted Backrest Chair from Order#[protected]. This was a prepaid order, when then chairs were delivered after 3 week delay from scheduled time, there were minor chippings on corners. I raised a complaint and the vendor said m you get them repaired and we will pay back the charges. I got the repairs done but did not claim the charges as it was minor repairs. Later the joints and now the back have started giving up, one of the back row is broken and is irreparable . The chairs were seldom used ( not more then 10 mins a day even ) the company does not offer warranty or returns . Absolutely substandard product. Beware

                                I've purchased one set of 6 face towels of company retro pool. The offer at that time was displayed on the website that the product is sold at 82% off i.e. Rs. 79 (MRP displayed was Rs. 445). After getting the product I feel product is nota even worth Rs. 79. I ordered is assuming that if it's MRP is Rs. 445, it must of some good quality and I'm getting a good deal by purchasing it at just Rs. 79. But the product is just similar to what we get on road side shops and there we get face towel at Rs 10 each.

                                  I placed an order of Nilkamal Freedom shoe cabinet on 14 oct 2013 through Pepperfry.com. I made the payment via net banking.I received just a sms with order confirmation no[protected] but they didn't email me the order invoice. Initially pepperfry displayed 24th oct as approx. delivery date which they changed to approx. dispatch date as soon as i made the payment.Anyways i waited till 24th oct but there was no update on the order. Then i started calling their customer service.I made multiple STD calls when they put me on hold for an unlimited time and kept telling me that they will call back soon with order info but they never did.After few more days i received a sms with the courier tracking id- red express courier AWB#C0009293D42885. But when i tried to contact the courier service i was told that they don't have any shipment from pepperfry for my name and address.I tried to clear this up with pepperfry staff but they made a very bizarre excuse that my order was not shipped because my address ( Dharampur, Dehradun) is in rural area.Since when centre of a city like dehradun become rural.If it were the case how did i manage to receive courier from international sites like amazon and mango and that too in time. Pepperfry is a fraud company full of lying, corrupt, deceitful, irresponsible staff whose sole purpose is to dupe people of their money.Once they get the payment they don't care to deliver the product.I even sent emails to pepperfry with my complaint but no reply whatsoever.                                     i have bur one induction cooker from Pepper Fry online shopping on 15th Sep, 2013, .
                                    i have make payment through credit card and after 7 days even i have not received my product.
                                    as many time i call to their customer care, everyone commit me for 3 days.
                                    on 1st october i have registred my case from their customercare who told that i will get status after investigation in 48 hrs.
                                    even after 72 hrs they have not acknowledge my status and as i call once again they ask me to wait still 48 hrs.

                                    i do not want my payment and if they want to chhose that option i want my payment with interest.

                                    i will prefer my product reach me asap.

                                      my order no. is[protected].. it becomes so many days.. but it is not delivered yet.. neither it is reported to me the reason of this... I tried to contact several times to pepperfry but they are not responding... I mailed too but there was no reply... I need a reply.. regarding this issue..                                         the worst packing like -spoons had to be taped together following a sheet under each spoon so that they do not scratch, the same applies to bowls which were all single handed pushed into the box directly with no tapes and sheet to protect from scratch.all plates cracked,which means the order was thrown from despatch this is the case of a local courier to cut down on expense ,even when fragile was marked on the pack. .......... worst service.
