Dear Sir,
I had ordered 48 Gold Coins from Pepperfry.com of 1 Gm Each. I had paid final amount of 3125 INR for each Gold Coin. All orders are made in name of me and my family members. I had placed orders on 26 and 27 November 2012.

The products are not delivered till date. Company send me shipment details of Blue Dart courier and AWB number is [protected], that is common for all orders. I contacted Blue dart, they peoples said that Consignment was hold by sale tax dept in Delhi.

I email many times to Pepperfry customer care and various of their officials, but till date they did not resolve the matter as well as now they stopped replying to me and they are not delivering my order till date and they eated my hard earned money that too 1.5 Lakh...

Pepperfry is 100% a fraud company. Please help me in getting my refund back to my account. Please also stop business of this fraud company who intended to cheat customers again and again. Please also ask Pepperfry to pay me compensation for all the loss and inconveniences occurred to me in dealing with this company

    I bought 7 items from pepperfry on 11 december. On 14 december, they updated me that they shipped the items. amongst them there were 4 deodorants for which they provided me the same AWB no. , which means those are shipped together in a package. I received that package on 20 december, but it contained only 3 deodorants. so, i called the customer care which is not toll free.after 4 minutes they picked the phone and told me they can’t hear me clearly and asked me to call again. Then again I had to wait for 4-5 minutes before they received the call.After hearing my problem they told me ,they will refund the value of the item ( Fogg marco deodorant ) through 180 pepper points. but those points are redeemable only on shopping of more than 1000.so, i told them to’reship’ the item.they told me they are forwarding my complaint to the concerned team and will contact me within 24-48 hrs.but I got a call only on 27th and he told me that the amount will be refunded to my bank account.i was on road then,so i asked him to call me later, but he didn’t. and now, today i received a mail that they initiated a refund of Rs.24.though the item costs Rs.180. I contacted them through ‘chat’. the conversation was:

    Diana: You can go ahead and place a new fresh order for the same if it is available.
    Arnab Pyne: thats why i told u to ship the item
    Diana: Yes right as the paid amount is 24.
    Arnab Pyne: that 24 is ur calculation. i have nothing to do with it. i just want the item which i ordered.
    Arnab Pyne: and i dont know why u r saying that u had shipped that item. the package was not at all tampered. its completely ur ‘fault’, if not your ‘policy’.
    Diana: The item was shipped from our end but as you claimed the item was missing we initiated refund.
    Arnab Pyne: that’s from your perspective. from my point, i ordered an item on 12th decmbr, which is still not delivered.
    Diana: So from your perspective as the item is not delivered we have initiated a refund of the paid amount that is Rs.24

    Diana: As you opted for cash refund it was only the paid amount which was credited.

    Diana: It was a cash refund request from your end so that is the reason a cash refund was initiated.
    Arnab Pyne: i have never requested for a refund.when i lodged the complaint, i was told i will be given 180 pepperpoints, but i knew i can redeem those only on shopping above 1000. so, i told will not take that. then i told him to ship that item. he said , it can be done bt will take some time. still i gone for that option.
    Arnab Pyne: so, i have never requested for any kind of refund.
    Diana: Arnab as per the complaint status there was a cash refund request which was forwarded so the same was initiated.
    Diana: As the cash refund is initiated you can go ahead and place a new order.
    Arnab Pyne: can i get it in 24?
    Diana: The MRP of the item is Rs.180/-
    Arnab Pyne: exactly. you have not all refunded me the value. and i will not spend a single rupee on the same item again.
    Arnab Pyne: and how could u tell me to place order again on your site!
    Diana: Is there anything else that I may help you with?
    Arnab Pyne: you people are so careless, or may be a bunch of organized frauds. i will definitely tell this to all your potential customers.

    Diana: After your request for cash refund we initiated a refund in your bank account for the paid amount.
    Arnab Pyne: i have never requested for refund..
    Arnab Pyne: whatever your system is showing has been entered by your colleague and not me.
    Diana: Yes as the refund from our end is always done in form of pepper points.
    Diana: As per customers request we process for a refund.
    Arnab Pyne: i dont know why are u telling about refunding.i just complained that i have not received the product.
    Diana: Yes but then reshipping becomes a very long process so to avoid delay we initiated refund.
    Arnab Pyne: yes. this refund is completely your decision. and now u accepted it.
    Arnab Pyne: how long will you take to ‘re’ship the item?
    Diana: Initiation of refund in your bank account was as per your request.
    Diana: We wont be reshipping the item.
    Arnab Pyne: is that the last word?
    Diana: Yes..


    I bought those items with 1300 pepper points which i received as a refund of my previous buy which they told me was not available to them, though it said ‘available’ while i bought it.And the remaining amount 201 ,i paid through netbanking.I requested them to ship the remaining deo but they are not doing that.I would like to request others not to buy anything from them, they are extremely careless and there’s even a risk of not getting your item at all.
    Placed an order for a Casio watch via order no. #[protected] on 11 February. Received on 25th february after such a long delay and patience. And when I opened the packet, it was empty!!! Paper and cardboard was stuffed inside a casio case but no watch inside. What the hell is this?? please help me to book this thieves and also prevent them from cheating other customers.

      Pathetic Service & Indefinite Delay in Delivery

      It was to be delivered within 7 days, but I get an email & sms that its delayed - and will informed about further status 3 days later, that is no guarantee if it will be dispatched at all!! this is informed to me on the 9th day!!!       Dear Sir/Madam,
      This is regarding Order Id[protected] made at Pepperfry.com on November 28, 2012. The product – KOMFI COTTON SET OF 2 PREMIUM SOFT PILLOWS – under this order is not delivered to me till date.

      The company Pepperfry mentioned that they send the product through DTDC Courier via AWB number Z77725193 on December 3, 2012. But after not getting product after waiting a long time, I made complaint to both DTDC Courier and Pepperfry. Till date they did not deliver me the product. But I am completely shocked when I see that DTDC courier updated in their Tracking details that consignment is delivered on December 13, 2012, the name of person receiving courier was not mentioned, because the truth is that they did not deliver the consignment and updating fake delivery details on their website. DTDC is thus a big Fraud company and is cheating customers.

      I already reported matter to Pepperfry.com and DTDC by email but till date DTDC or Pepperfry not replied to my email as well as they are not taking my complaint seriously and interested in eating my hard earned money. This is completely a cheating. Since I purchased item from Pepperfry, so its duty of pepperfry to tackle matter with DTDC and deliver product to me, but they are not able to do the same.

      I will wait till December 25, 2012 for the product or the Refund of amount paid with 500 INR as compensation towards all the kind of inconveniences occurred to me in dealing with this company, otherwise I will take strict Legal action against both DTDC courier and Pepperfry.com including firing F.I.R. against them in Police Station, firing Civil Suit against Pepperfry.com and Criminal Suit against DTDC courier as well as reporting complete matter in Media…

          This was the first and the last time I shopped with PEPPERFRY who have been making people nothing more than victims of their scam. And I am not the only one writing such a review about them. I was enlightened about them while googling through reviews. I think I have been duped by them and my ignorance of missing such review for pepperfry. We all I reckon are spending enormous time on the website finding deals but what a waste of energy and money when you come across sites like PEPPERFRY who have a appetite to relish on your money.
          Once you order from them either partial products are delivered or you receive tampered packages which are refunds as points to be redeemed in 15 days. Why not refund the complete amount instead of forcing customers to buy in 15 days time with your points that too isn't foolproof. You might end up ordering a product which isn't available for delivery where you have to wait for another refund credited to your account and then buy something from them in 15 days.
          The most ever pathetic site ever visited in all online shopping sites.
          I had to order something for over 2000 to avail of an offer of a Rs 700 discount. I required diapers for my kid and just to end up over 2000 I ordered "STEELCRAFT FRUIT BOWL -SMALL" which wasnt necessary for me at all. Now the latter was delivered while the one which was desired the most wasn't delivered and without informing me the points were credited to my account.

          STEELCRAFT FRUIT BOWL -SMALL X 1 - Delivered

          Second order was placed from my wife's account

          Adidas Deo Combo For Men (Set Of Five) X 1 - Tampered Empty Box delivered, points refunded, informed as the issue was raised from my end and no money back

          Since not being informed I mistakenly made a similar DEO purchase from the former account without being aware that the points credited were from my other purchase which wasn't delivered. I requested them to either redeliver the diapers and adjust the points from the other account points for the DEO purchase which couldnt happen. The same diapers price has escalated to Rs 100 more than what I paid earlier. Now you dont have anyone to lookout for and what you hear from the customer care is the same old jargon which ends up sounding like "We are quite happy to inform you sir PEPPERFRY has made an addition to the pool of fools".
          I would highly recommend everyone surfing through their site for any purchase to stay away or else become a victim and find yourself writing such a review in vain on this/similar sites or crying your heart out with your money going through the drain. It wont even be doomsday when I might end up on this site again.
          PEPPERFRY great Marketing worst Services.
          I would request all duped by PEPPERFRY to come together and approach the consumer court to file a compliant against them.

            I placed the order of Jacket with Order number :[protected] on www.pepperfry.com and it was supposed to get shipped by tooday, however, since tomorrow the order is showing cancelled , I'm continuously contacting pepperfry via customer support chat assistance , every time I have been provided with incorrect information that order is placed and you will receive it, yesterday one agent told me to contact courier service :SENT VIA: QUANTIUM, when I contacted them replayed that contact the shipper as order not found and today when I again contacted pepprfry they are not helping and giving me run arounds.. very upset and frustrated.. It is my frnd's birthday today and that jacket was suppose to the gift for him which I never received since 7 days now.

              ordered Nature's bounty vitamins for the Hair from pepperfry.com , costing 1099 , Payed money by net banking on 1/12/12 . the item was received by me on 9/12/12.. the packet has 65 capsules and the date of import is 2010..the DATE OF EXPIRY IS 1/2013.. i.e. just after 20 days .same day I lodged a complaint on the website they replied that I need to send the pictures of the product and they will refund the money, which i did , I am sending regular mails to them but now they have stopped responding.

              DEAR Sir/Madam,complaint :this is in reference to order number :[protected], 01/12/12 product NATURE’S BOUNTY VITAMINS FOR THE HAIR- (65 TABS) *SENT VIA:* DTDC *AWB NUMBER:* Z77727993*SHIPPED DATE:* 07/12/12----- I received the packet today on[protected].. and the expiry of the medicine sent to me is 1/13.. i.e just after 20 days from today. it means i have to consume 65 tablets in 20 days….. this is complete fraud on your part..kindly send me a new packed bottle of the same..or I will lodge a case in consumer court by tomorrow….

              EUJ06438319IN - i am trying to track this parcel and am getting the above subject error. Please let me know. It was posted from Agra on 10th September, 2009 and it is seven days now. I am the recipient of the parcel. What is the status of my parcel.

              I am a regular online shopping customer, and till now i have been very satisfied with the online services of various sites but the worst experience of my online shopping is the present status of an order placed with you fraud people.

                I had ordered an product - BIS Hallmarked Yellow Gold 22kt Shiva Chain 16 Inches - from Pepperfry.com on October 5, 2012 (Order Number[protected]. After a long wait and follow-up, they delivered the product very late. When I receive the product, I found it of different in specification to what they mentioned in the product description in their website at time of order.

                The Gold Weight was mentioned 4.00 Gms. I ordered chain of Gold weight as per my budget. But the product they delivered to me weighted 3.85 Grams Gold only, as per the Certificate received along with product. That certificate is also attached to this complaint. It should be noted that Pepperfry had also sended Precious Jewellery Products of Less weight earlier to me also in other orders. This particular product was shown in an offer on their homepage, seeing that i recommended this offer to many of my friends. Every of my friend who order this product from them receive product of less Gold weight ranging from 3.82 to 3.87 Grams. This clears that they intentionally cheating customers first by making offers and second by sending products of less Gold Weight.

                I had complaint to them in time. After a lot of emails and followup, they said that difference in Gold weight is 372 Rs only and they sended me some pepper points for difference in Gold weight. Such Pepper points are useless and not acceptable to me. I clearly mentioned in my complaint to them that i will accept Refund of difference by Credit to bank account only. There is no value of Pepper points, as these peoples sends coupons of 500, 550, etc regularly every 2-3 days to email. As such there is no value of Pepper points...I have maded purchase by hard earned money, so they should refund in Ruppess only...

                Further they also calculated the compensation of very less amount. The product price was 14500 INR at time of order. The Difference in Grammage is 0.15 Gms (22Kt. Gold). They have to refund the Gold cost as well as proportionate cost of Making Charges. The Original product Price (For 4 Gm Gold Chain) at time of order was 14500.

                For 0.15 Gm Gold difference the proportionate amount in Ruppes is 543.75 INR considering both the Gold difference and proportionate making charges.

                They have to refund minimum of 1043.75 INR (543.75 Plus 500 Rs compensation for all the kinds of inconveniences caused to me till date in dealing with them) towards the difference in Product manufactured and delivered by their company, in the original mode of payment and not By Pepper Points. I can wait for same by next 3 days only. In within 3 days, if their company fail to refund the amount, i have to move the matter in Consumer Court. This Refund amount asked by me is only acceptable in within next 3 days, after which i will claim amount in consumer court that will be consisting of every kind of losses occurred to me by transacting with this company...

                It should be noted that The pepper points issued by them were not utilized by me and I already emailed to them that same is unacceptable to me, but they did not replied me by now...

                  I used to receive lot of discount coupons from pepperfry.com in my email. On Nov 26 I tried placing an order for Sandisk 16gb Micro SD Memory card but accidentally placed an order for Silicon Power 16GB MICRO SD CARD (which is a different brand).
                  I used 40% discount coupon and the total price came to Rs.345. Just few seconds after placing the order I realized that I wrongly selected another brand and immediately had a chat session and cancelled the order. The chat person said my amount will be credited as pepperfry points in 48 hrs and I can use that to place another order.
                  Within 2 days I received an email that order is cancelled and refund is made as pepperfry points[protected]LEM1363DE233688).
                  I tried placing an order again but I am not able to use the discount coupon. I had a chat session and I was informed that I cannot use both pepperfry points and discount coupon at the same time. I explained that the pepperfry points are not free points and it was credited as refund. He informed that its company policy and I cannot use both coupon and points at the same time.
                  I would also like to inform that when I placed the initial order it was shown as free shipping but now it shows Rs.59 for shipping.

                  I am definitely not happy with the service and I am not going to make any more orders in this site.

                      i have place a order of two tshirts before 1 month ago from pepperfry.com, but they deliver to me only one tshirt, they have charged for both tshirts through net banking. i have written so many mails to there customer care executive, but they didnt reply to me , now i feeling they have cheated to me, i will never place any order from pepperfry.com, pepperfry.com provide very bad delivery service,

                      I too have same experience. Only difference is pepperfry DID not supply my order at all only one fake awb of bluedart was provided to me in my order no[protected].

                      To my utter surprise they DID not have any courtesy to respond mail. On telphone they only commit that their manager will call back. Which never happened.

                      I fail to understand how reputed bank like axis is endorsing such company. There should be a complete ban on company like these.

                        i had ordered a electric tandoor (inpro) from pepperfry.com, my order no is[protected]. but to my surprise they had sent me a manufacturing defective electric tandoor and more important it is not INPRO brand.
                        height of shamefulness was when i asked them to replace the item they told me to send the product back to them . they were without any answer when i asked them that its your mistake and why should i pay for it.

                        kindly take action against such fraud websites else more people can lose their money

                          Order no.[protected] for a silver coin was placed on 18.10.12 through online payment. Till date material has not been delivered not the status are informing by customer support team. In my accounts it is been written that the material shipped on 26.10.2012 through Blue Dart but the Tracking number provided there is totally wrong , when I tried to track it from Blue Dart courier web page I found that the number is wrong.
                          The Pepperfry informed me on 30.10.2012 over phone and through e-mail on 7.11.2012 & 12.11.2012 to collect my ordered material from Blue Dart office at Sambalpur, accordingly I have visited many times to Blue Dart office at Sambalpur but no material is available to their office till today.
                          In every response to my e-mail/my phone they replied as the status Will updated within 3 business days but unfortunately no updates have been send to me. For last 7 days no response I received from Pepperfry.

                            I had ordered 5 items from online shopping portal Pepperfry.com on October 12th, 2012. The portal had promised to ship products within 7 working days whereas other shopping sites promises 2,3 days delivery time.

                            I did not receive any items for the next one week and when I called then, the first reason they cited was 7 working days which does not include Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays it seems. I waited for 7 "working days" and when I contacted them again there were apologies and "will be shipped soon" dialogues.

                            Finally my first item got shipped only on 18th October and the tracking details showed that the item was offloaded due to security reasons twice and finally it was delivered to us on 25th October . The second item got shipped on 28th October and we got it on 1st November.

                            I am still waiting for the other 3 items and I have not been given any proper response after repeated queries. I have also attached the email from them for reference.

                            I would like to point that I shop frequently online and sites like Yebhi, Jabong, Flipkart etc do an immediate delivery. As an example, I ordered some items on the same day I ordered in Pepperfry.com (12th October) and I received all of them on 14th October. At last I would like to conclude by cautioning online shoppers on not using pepperfry.com.

                              I kept trying on Gati and got invalid number from their website. I called pepperfry to inquire and they blamed Gati for not updating the site due to the Diwali holiday. I chated with Neha from Gati on 15th November, and she asked me to get the scanned copy of the docket copy of Gati from Pepperfry and forward it to [protected]@gatikwe.comwith receiver's number and address. I sent this copy pasted chat transcription to these email addresses [protected]@pepperfry.com and [protected]@pepperfry.com yesterday and I still have not got any reply from them. I have written 7 mails so far and have not received any correct information. I have called them and chated with them everyday, but all for nothing. I think their chat and call centers are outsourced and we will not get anyone who really knows anything.

                                    I ordered for a Beanless Ball from Pepperfry.com on 7th October, 2012 and they have delivered it today but instead they have delivered a China Made LED Torch..I was not home so my mother received the shipment so she couldnt check it at that point. This is utter nonsense and really a big fraud and the best part is they have also send the payment invoice along with it which is clearly mentioning about the beanless ball. I tried getting in touch with their customer support and they had told me to send the pictures on some address which I had requested them to mail me but they declined to do so. I have tried to get back to them again but failed to do so. Now I have this torch and no idea of how to get my money back or get a replacement.

                                      I placed an order for backpack on pepperfry.com on 03-Oct-2012 (order#[protected]. The website mentioned delivery in 7 working days so I did not bother to call them up until 10-Oct-2012. when i did so after 10th Oct, my call was never answered as i was kept on hold for more than 10-15 minutes, but no one answered. It has been now 9 days and they have not shipped my item yet. Pls look into the matter.
