:Dont take any course in periyar university this is one of bad university and it plying with students life it to rabish and its controller hopeless fellow, , loffer, everything dont take please i am requsting you (begging you) i attended exam two times i did well at any time i am able to write the exam but you know that peoples doing fail that peoples wants money please hello periyar university peoples you have the ability once you come karanataka i beat you with my slipper or shoe

I agreed your comment. All the waste fellows are working there. My sister done her MSc (CS) in this university. First semester all theory papers are fail and the marksheet is missing the practical result. We send so many letters to them to get the result, but no response. I don't know how. She is 76% in her UG (not in periyar univeristy). We tried for Retotal/Revaluation. But they said not possible for PG. Simply the Periyar university is playing game in so many future pillars of India. It is very same.

Please Don't get any degree from "PERIYAR UNIVERSITY". It is total Waste. Please avoid Periyar university.

Kindly tell me about the result of M.phil Mathematics Examination conducated by Periyar university Pride Study Center Code-1313 and Registration No. 06DCCF2998. This Examination held in JUN/JUL' 2008 and still I didnt get the result.

i have completed my mphil computer science in periyar university. but not yet received my marksheet and provisional certificate.

I have applied for my degree certificates like 3 times, i even went there and wrote a letter to them and still i didnt get my certificates, this has been like 3yrs now...The worst care for students...

As i took admission in M.Phil Course from one of the authorized study centre of the university (IITMH) Hari Nagar. New Delhi in year 2006.
I passed out all the papers and the marks ststement was recieved by me in the year 2007.
Till date i.e. 19/02/2009, i have not recieved my provisional certificate.
The complaint against the same was put in the knowledge of Controller of Examinations Sh. Jayakumar, but in futile.
As the RTI was speed posted to the university in the name of the Public Information Officer, but the university didests the RTI also.
According to me to take admission in this university is to spoil the future of the candidate, because this university never provides the study material to the enrolled candidates in time. As this university never conduct examinations in time. As this university never declare the results in time. As this university started many new courses but they are not having even the detailed syllabus of various courses.

The sysytem of this university is very very very very poor.
The Director of the university never listens to the grievances of the candidates enrolled to the university..

Yes this is one of the worst university i have everseen in my life.
The system of Admission, Examination, declaration of the result, is very very very worst.
The university doesnt provide the marks statement to the candidates after the candidate passes out the examinations.
The university never gives reply to the correspondance made by the candidate in any concern.
If any candidate drafts an RTI to the university the university people dissolves the RTI.

In nut shell taking admission to this university is to burn the fingers.

I am doing II year BBA (English medium). I have not yet rcvd my books from my study centre. I am repeatedly enquiring them in this matter. But all my efforts are in vain. I am working women, only if I get my books in time, Iam able to study. Even in the I yr also I had the same problem. I have not rcvd my Iyr Marksheets also. I have paid all my IIyr and IIIyr Fees properly. Iam very sorry to tell this that your service is very poor. I am not hurting you. Atleast please inform me when will I get the books and marksheet. Send me the books atleast before the examination dates are announced.

India got lots of capable persons but people working in Periyar university in Salem are damn useless. They even can't provide proper exam dates. imagine how they will perform in other field. The education minister should look into this matter and just rid out all those old rotten persons and recruit new knowledgeable persons. So that it can help the lakhs and lakhs of people studying in this university.

Always time the time table is coming late and we are facing a lot of problem and the same thing happen when the result out hope that the university will consider the problem in the coming academic year

I m doin my bba...I dont know how the universities is function unlike others.We hv face lot of problem due to many reason of this university..Lot of problems to be mention but it guite numerous...Here are some defects of this university.
1.Late arrival of exam schedule causing problem to those students from far place at the time of booking rail or flight.
2.Not appropriate while getting results.
3.Mark evaluation basis which really affects to quality education.
Etc..Plz make all this point in consideration..

i greatly agree all the above mentioned comments... i did my PG English in this university... i have never seen a bad university like this... worst in everything... particularly in valuation... that too in English department... they are valuing the paper randomly without seeing the content of the paper... then what is the use of our hardworks? why should we study, when you award marks randomly? we could not tell others the wonderful...! percentage the university have awarded to us... and moreover we cant persue our M.Phil programmes in other universities because of the second class percentage... its not my emotional outburst... but the cry of many students like me..please do consider this and take necessary steps...

My self the student of Periyar university Salem admitted in M.phil CS in 2006-07 session. I gave my paper in nov 2007 first time i got result failed in two paper .i was shocked to see that but again i gather my courage and gave exams in 2008 august . I got result again shocking. I was declared failed again .
I am a service class woman having lot of experience of teaching in college. I cannot imagine such situation again i am suffering from. I am M.COM M.C.A I.C.W.A(inter) . I have experience of various universities but this my experience i got from this university was really very shocking. Kindly help to revaluate these papers held in August 2008.

My self one of the students who took admission under periyar university salem (pride) session 2006-7 through chandigarh centre. I gave exams earlier in nov 2007 and got the result which was shocking i was declared fail in two of the subjects. i gathered courage and gave exams again through this university in august 2008 . Result came in january 25. i got it through the centre by enquiring . I was shocked again to see the same result . I did my paper well and was expecting more than 70% as i attempted full papers.
As i have got degrees of m.com m.c.a. and icwai (inter ) calcutta i never had such an experience as i am having now from this university. as i am in teaching and have the knowledge of the subjects . I was not expecting such type of harrasement i had from this university. Kindly help me to reevaluate the papers. i will be highly obliged.

Sir, I have given M.Phill(cs) exams in aug 08 for re appearing in my paper name "Advance in computer science" and Research Methodology only.
But I have failed .It is request to reevalute papers.Because it cannot be possible, as I have attempted 100% paper. And I have an professional experience also . It can't say that i have written wrong.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I Ganesh Nandkishor Joshi would like to bring in to your kind attention that I being the student of ‘Periyar University’, Salem, Tamil Nadu since April 2009 have not received the Marsheet, Provisional Certificate, Degree Certificate and Migration Certificate till date due to which I am struggling to get admission for higher studies.

I would like to bring in complete case facts according to the dates mentioned below:-

1. April 2009:- I read in the newspaper about degree coursed offered by Saraswati College of Distance Education, Andheri and Thane. I visited Thane branch of Saraswati College of Distance Education and inquired about the degree courses. I was told by one lady there that they have various universities through which they offer courses and one of them is ‘Periyar University’, Salem, University. I took an admission for B.A. (Economics) degree course and paid Rs. 5400 as the fees for first year and books. I received the books from Saraswati College of distance education, Thane and started preparing for Examinatons.
2. July 2009:- I appeared for an examination for the first year B.A Economics and cleared the examination and received one marksheet for the first year B.A Economics examination.
3. Feb 2010:- I appeared for second year B.A Economics examination and cleared the second year examination. I received 3 marksheets for the second year examination.
4. Nov 2010:- I appeared for the third year B.A Economics examination and cleared all the papers. I received the marksheets for the third year in January 2012.
5. Jan 2012:- I had sent a first letter to ‘The Director-Periyar University’ and ‘The Registrar-Periyar University’ asking them about Provisional Certificate, Degree Certificate, Migration Certificate. I had sent attested copies of my marksheets.





6. Feb 2012:- I received a reply from ‘The Director- Periyar University’ and ‘The Registrar- Periyar University’ asking for the ‘Original Transfer Certificate’.
7. March 2012:- I sent my Original Marksheets to ‘The Director-Periyar University’ again asking for
Provisional Certificate, Degree Certificate, Migration Certificate.
8. June 2012:- I received I reply from ‘The Director- Periyar University’ stating they did not receive my Original Marksheets. I lost my Original Marksheets either by DTDC courier company or by the Periyar University. I contacted ‘Saraswati College of Distance Education’ but they were never ready to help me.
9. Feb 2013:- I was totally lost due to the lost of my Original Marksheets. I applied for Duplicate Marksheets by sending cheque no: 436286 for Rs. 5000 to ‘The Controller of Examination’ Periyar University.
10. April 2013:- I received First Year and Second year Duplicate Marksheets from Saraswati College of Distance Education, Andheri, Mumbai as the Duplicate Marsheets were sent to Saraswati College of Distance Education by Periyar University . However I also received a call from the Controller of Examination office(Periyar University) in March wherein the lady said the third year examination which I passed is invalid and I had to appear again. I am not satisfied with the reply and while I was trying to ask her more, she disconnected the call.
11. April 16, 2013: I sent RTI application to ‘The Public Information Officer’ for which the reply letter is still awaited from them.
12. I have made many calls to the Periyar University – Controller of Examination to provide me the third year Duplicate marksheet, Provisional and Degree Certificate but they informed me to come to Salem and settle the issue.
13. I sent another letter in August’2013 asking for Third year duplicate marsheet, provisional and degree certificate but no reply received till date.

Now I am left with Duplicate Marksheet for the First Year and Second year only. I am still waiting for the third year marksshet, Provisional Certificate, Degree Certificate and Migration Certificate.

Sir/Madam, it is my humble request to kindly help me in getting my above certificates and third year marksheets as I have to study MBA for which no college is giving an admission without all complete certificates.

I am B.Noora Begam . I have appread for BCA III rd year in June-2012. After getting result, suddenly without getting my marksheet/provisional I have applied for MBA with paid fees Rs:5000 in Jan-2014 and paid Rs:1200 for pending marksheet+provisoinal. The study centre people told that there is no problem, you will attend the MBA exam. But still I am not getting any news for BCA marksheet/Provisional and MBA. When I am trying to contact 1000 number of times from many new numbers, they are just attending the call and cut when hearing my name.

The most irresponsible university of India. Sometimes, they even say we don't receive the Demand Draft of fees paid. Read from news once that some people working in University en-cashed all the DD by themselves. Those frauds were arrested in 2012 and most of the money paid by students were not entered in to University accounts, so the 2012 exam was considered as invalid and nobody is going to get the certificates. If you really want to get the certificates, then apply for reexam and get your work done. That is the only solution available.

My friend is a M.Phil Student in Periyar university, Salem. He joined in 2006 Batch. He have one arrear paper. But he couldnt get the reexam date, pervious semester's mark sheets, Dessertation & Project Results and proper communication. Still after 2 years, he couldnt get a single evidence from the university for the written examination. Very very assault answers and too late for the results, improper result publication and total irrelevancy is periyar university. Government should cancel this university. I can say this is the worst university in ASIA.

I am doing B Com Examination in periyar university(distance education). I need to know when the exam will start in kerala centre(Payyannur). I appplied for exam 1 year before... please please help me sir.

Me working in Indian Navy and presently posted in Kerala. I & my wife took admission for PGDBM & MSC (Maths) respectively in academic year 2009 and told from study centre (Rewari, Haryana) that the exams will be held some where in the month of December - January but now in December they told us that there should not be any exam scheduled in this time and we have to wait till February or March. Please note that Periyar University of Distance Education has declated the result of the exmanisation held in Dec2010 but the result is incomplete. For few students they declared result of only 10 subjects out of 15 and for few only 8 subjects. Study Center is also not taking any responsibilty and saying that this is university's problem and nothing is in there hand. Study center named Chaitanya Degree College which is located in Kukatpally and Ameerpet and Dilshuk Nagar in Hyderabad has chared more then 30k/40K for course but not giving response.

This is a serious problem. Some action should be taken against such universities who play with students future.

I m also facing the same problem.. I have appeared for BSc Comp Sci in Dec 2010-11 but the result displayed on the website is incomplete.

Kindly let me knw as to where the problem is from?? Why the complete result is not displayed.?

Also on calling the PRIDE office there is no proper response received..

Friends, please join hands to take a serious step for this as its a matter of our feature and i think all are waiting to join further studies etc etc...

Should'nt be write to HRD, Mr. Kapil sibal??

Surely we should write to Mr. Kapil Sibal and inform him for this and I Think we should make every possible attempt to contact Periyar University at the earliest and extract a detailed explanation for this un-professional task performed by them which is affecting many students like us.

i request everyone to write to the university with a CC copy to UGC and Kapil sibal, i am sure it will prompt university to take action or atleast publish the reasons for the same.

I think there are many who are suffering due to this irresponsible behaviour of Periyar university..

I have completed MBA degree in December 2010 exams which was conducted Periyar Univerisity distance education, salem and the results published in end of march2011. All the papers have passed. But so far I am not receive the mark sheet. when I contacting the university about the same, I was not receive the any responsible answer. pl take necessary steps

I finished M.com. As on 2009 course. But till now i have not received in my provisional certificate, and course complete certificate. I am working in private concern. Then i would not get the leave. 06DCCF3002. I have appeared in three paper of M. Phil. Maths Code DYBO DYBP DYCB. The University did not declare the result of result of DYBP.

I have already written many letters (three to C.O.E. and
one to Registrar) to university for releasing the result, but i
did not get any correspondence from university side. besides it
i have written a letter to public information officer of periyar university on 18-5-08 and after that a letter to registrar of periyar university on[protected] for getting information about delay of result and on[protected] a letter to state information commissioner of tamilnadu along with all proof (a photo copy of a letters written to public information officer and to a registrar o[censored]niversity and a receipt of speed post) but i did not any responce from them.
it is my kindly request please solve the matter.

I submited my M.phil Deseration on 31/3/2009...but till now i didn't received my results...pls publish my results as soon as possible...

This is a third class university in every respect. UGC should intervene in this matter and should ban these types of institutions.
