Hi,
I had purchased a television from Philips, a 39inch LED TV. After almost a year, it started acting up! The colours on the screen were mixed and the brightness was increased. The faces of people started appearing orange and the whites were so bright that we could not see anything in the image.
I contacted the company within the warranty period and they sent a technician. He examined the TV and said that its the fault of the set top box. So i replaced the set top box from my cable provider. The problem persisted. Hence I called Philips again and they sent another engineer.
This man, knew nothing, he seemed uneducated and was uncertain of the problem. He then re-installed my TV. This is what even I had done and after the TV restarted, it had the same problem. After resetting my TV, it gets fixed for about 15mins and the problem persists.
I contacted philips for the third time but they are now refusing to send anyone to fix the TV as they say that the TV has no problem. I know for a fact that the TV is not fixed, but they refuse to help.

    We have purchased Home Theatre of Philips electronics from Croma on 31st Jan'16. While buying they assured us that the cost of installation is including in the price that they have taken from us. After several follow up none of the technician came to install the Home theater at our home. After giving them several reminders, technician came on 15th Feb'16 and after doing installation started clicking pictures of our house on which we defeated. So, he started fighting with my dad. We are really pissed off with the service that Philips has given us. And we are going to take a very very strict legal action against this.

      I have purchased the Philips QT4005 Trimmer ( M - power Play) trimmer about one and half year back from flipkart, upto two months back it was working fine, but on 5th of January 2016 it suddenly stopped working and after that I went to Philips service center 'Heyrambh Electronics' which is present at the Kukatpally Hyderabad . They have checked and told it should be replaced and according that I have given the trimmer, they told that it takes around 15 days for replacement . As per that I have waited for 15 days nothing I got from them either an message nor an call . Later on 5th I called service center they till to wait for few more days (Already an month got over) . Later I also reached the Philips India Customer care but no use even I have talk to Hyderabad Philips support manager no use at all . Please let me know still how many months you guys need for replacement .

        I have purchase an Home Theatre System (Bill attached) on 11.03.2015. After some day its not working properly of which I have given to Service centre on 02.01.2016.Almost a month has gone but still they are not giving us delivery. I call them regularly but no response. First thing I have purchase new machine and get destroy. Secondly, I have given them for repairing and till date they didn't deliver us. Please arrange delivery of machine after repair otherwise I have to take this complain to consumer court.

            The handle of mixie jar purchased just 3 months back sheared off at the bolting area. The dealer Quilon Radio Service Directed me to get replacement on the Warranty from authorised Service centre .But when the centre was approached they send me back by saying they shall contact when they get the stock .No positive date is neither given . Even after a week they are not giving any date of replacement .

                IN RE poor quality product (Philips bikini genie -trim, shave and style) sold by Croma, pala storing centre, Ground floor, Mumbai -400064

                Dear Sir / Madam
                This is to bring to your kind notice that I had purchased Philips bikni Genie trim, shave and style from your store which is located at Malad ; for a consideration of Rs. 1780/- (One thousand seven hundred and eight ) paid by credit card vide your Invoice ;SLPOZA[protected], on 26/12/2015 at 12:48 pm.
                The said goods are suffering from the following defects:-
                (i) Shaver of the said product is malfunctioning.

                I have reported the above matter to your floor representative and to floor manager as well on 1st January, 2016. They promised me to replace the product. After the verbal surety given by them to me to do so, I have left the product with them for further compliance of replacement.
                They also promised the phone call from the store regarding the further procedure of subject matter. It has been almost 20 days and no communication is made from the store in any means. The Croma retail store is always known for its service and a quality product in the retail market. So Croma has been my first choice since the shopping. I feel regrettable after such treatment and unprofessional approach exhibited by the Croma employee to me which is highly unbusiness like.
                On account of your aforesaid dereliction of duty and failure and neglect of commitment and promise I have suffered some mental stress. You are hereby finally called upon to replace the goods with new goods within 5 days of the receipt of this notice failing which I shall be constrained to initiate against you for Redressal of my aforesaid grievances and recovery of the aforesaid goods. Proceedings, both civil and criminal as are warranted by law, besides filing a complaint under the statutory provisions of The Consumer 'Protection Act, 1986 exclusively at your own risk, cost, responsibility and consequences which please note.

                  The product has a warranty purchased from amazon but the refused to refund it .and told to resolve it through u its philips aqua touch AT620/14 men's shaver which has 3 straight big plastic poles to rotate blades one of which has came out from the stick to which its connected and it has a spring to its better u refund me than replace it ok

                      i would like to raise the complain for the led tv philips which i purchase on 19.12.2015 then we have started using the product it display was not working and when we raise the complain for the same with distributor, they said there is a manufacturing defect in the software of the product then i have issued the mail to the philips consumer complain helpline they assured me that i will get my money back but no one from the department has called me to take my account number so that they can refund my money i have no received any response from them.

                          To the respected sir, My name is K Praveen Kumar, I purchased a DVD player from snapdeal on 25th July 2015. Item PHILIPS BLU RAY DVD Model BDP2180/94 PLAYER From[protected] My DVD Player not working and I immediately complained this to customer care by calling toll free number. After this I waited for a week days . There is no response from Philips service Centre. After a lot of trails I got a contact No from the customer care . His name is Mr Khaja (Area service head) . And the very next I spoke to this guy over on the phone and I explained everything to him. He suggested me to hand over the product in service Centre in Kukatpalli, Hyderabad. And did same on 30th November 2015. Still there is no response from the service Centre . More over the person who is working in service Centre is giving me wrong guidance and telling lies every time.                             Dear all, We wish to bring to your notice the recent embarrassment and mental stress that we faced due to the brand PHILIPS and now we have come to a conclusion not to buy “PHILIPS” brand again We purchased a PHILIPS 40” LED smart TV (40PFL6606) in Singapore on 17-Mar 2012 and brought to India. After (8 months) the display faded in one corner and hence we got in touch with the Service center in Kilpauk (Compliant no. PCHN[protected]). Sadly, the engineers were not proficient enough to solve the issue even after multiple attempts. They gave an excuse that the TV is from Singapore and hence they could not get its parts in India. After a long struggle we managed to get a replacement for the LED TV, another 42” LED TV (42PFL6357) by paying the difference in amount Rs. 7000/- to the company, which has turned out to be waste now. Suddenly on 05th Oct 2015, we were not able to switch on the TV and approached the service center in Ayanavaram (Techno smart services) through the PHILIPS call center[protected]. (Compliant no. PCHN[protected]) The engineer Mr. A. Ravikumar attended the compliant and was unable to figure out the issue. He took pictures of the TV to identify the defective parts. He said that defective parts are to be changed and it will cost Rs. 5, 500/- and collected Rs 1, 200 as service charge in advance. We were waiting for 1 month, after which another engineer named Mr. Viji (sent by Mr. Rahul Anandhan (Manager, PE Electronics South Zone) visited us and informed us to bring the TV to Valasaravakkam service center. He also said that the license of the previous service center (Ayanavaram) got cancelled and gave a new compliant no. PCHN[protected]. We carried the TV as advised by him. Now, after 2 full months they are asking us to take the TV back which is in a very bad condition I.e. 75% of display is blurred. If we want the display to be good they are asking us to pay Rs. 42, 365 (the original TV cost itself was only 40, 000) otherwise take the TV back in the same bad condition after paying 1, 200 as service charge (for the second time) and asked us to collect the previously paid 1, 200 from the other service center (Ayanavaram), the license of which got cancelled. Is this the way the customers are meant to be treated? After trusting PHILIPS and buying such an expensive TV this is what we got in return. Thanks so much for this wonderful user experience.                                 Philips TV 39PFL3850 was purcgased by me on 26/6/15. After just 6 months o[censored]sage, the TV started to give trouble. There is clouding of screen and cracking/popping sound in the standby mode. Let me discuss the problems. The clouding of the screen as i understand is because of some layers separating from each other. Online forums have discussed the problem and it happens because of layers separating due to heat production during usage. As far as the cracking/popping sound is concerned in the standby mode, that is also related to heat production and expansion-contraction that happens (maybe in the motherboard) as discussed in some online forums and as predicted by your visiting technicians. The problem of cracking/popping sound is quite rare and unfortunately, my TV has it! Now i wonder why this problem is happening in a TV purchased just 6 months back?? I have been using Sony and Samsung TV's for many years without any issues at all!!! I have realized now that may be it is due to quality difference between the different brands! I really am disappointed that the TV has to be repaired and serviced in such a short time o[censored]sage. I request Philips company to take the issue seriously and think of replacing the product at the earliest as i feel that the product has not performed upto its expected standards!! Repaired products are anytime inferior to the well manufactured and properly performing products. I am not asking for a favour from Philips but it is my right as a customer to claim for a decent product for which i have paid a decent amount.

I'd given my Philips Soundbar Home Theatre to Gibson Innovation Auth Ser Centre (New Prerona Enterprise, 5, GB Dutta rd, Kolkatta (WB) for repair on 23 Oct 15 after registering with Philips Customer Care Dept. For 40 days the product was kept unrepaired for a part (main power unit) which could not be procured/provided by the service centre or the Philips Company. Astonishing. Due to the inability to repair the product it was returned but in damaged condition and when the Manager was informed of it, she bluntly disagreed and didn't care to look into the matter. The matter was reported again online to Philips in 3rd week of Dec 15 on which their Area Head Service Dept, Calcutta assured of looking into the issue but nothing has happened after that. 2. I'm completely unsatisfied with the entire process of pathetic services rendered by Philips and its service centre. Philips needs to overhaul its after sales services less it closes its operation here n elsewhere. 3. My contact No is [protected]. Philips is requested to look into the grievance earliest through the Consumer Complain Forum.
                                    I would like to give my sincere advice to Philips Co, Pvt Ltd to improve their after sale services and also their customer complaint satisfaction level which is shown at 3% on this site, which seems very dismal for a reputed international brand.

                                      I purchased a philips air purifier on 21 december 2025 but after one week it started giving out a burning smell. I submitted a complaint at customer care but service person said that ok.but I can feel that continuously that there is a smoke smell.is this your way to handle the complaints by totally ignoring them?
