I purchased Pigeon Induction for Rs 1700. After using it for 15 days it suddenly stopped working. I sent it for service as it is in warranty for 1 year. After 15 days i got my induction back through vendor and when i opened it and checked, it was working fine but the side panel was broken. My appliance i sent in 1 piece before service and i get it broken in return. I asked them to either change the broken panel or give me the new device. They refused to take responsibility of it and tried to hand me over as it is. Kindly help me in this regard, i am not satisfied with the kind of service they have provided me with.

    Deadly dangerous blast in top glass of Gilma stove

    This Complaint is regarding Gilma Stove which we have taken in 18 months ago. We suddenly found a big Blast on Stove, when cooking is in progress on stove, my Parent just came out of kitchen, or else all the glasses of stove might have pierced into the body. The situation is such a dangerous, it seems like a terrorist blast, all pieces of that top glass spreaded all over the kitchen and hall. Fortunately we were just out of big danger if...

    Hello, I had a Pigeon brand(Stove Kraft) Induction Cooktop which went dead within two days o[censored]sing it. Since then I am following up with them.. The call center does not register the complaint and say they can only take enquiries. The local service center says they are closed and provided me the technician number. Called the technician and he says they dont have service center and he will visit onsite.. Since last one month everyday he is giving false promises that he will visit my house and not have till now. I have a sereis of emails with the customer care and they rarely respond with some positive approach.. Lastly I got a number of Mumbai office who again assured that my equipment will be repaired today and again the same old story. The technician never visited. This has become pathetic now and I am fed up with daily emails and calls to them. No response for the emails or also to my calls.

      Poor guality steel guage, base material for burners not of Brass, and the supply lines for gas to the burners are of a poor guality with streaks of corrosions on the surface area and the smell of leakage of gas at times when not in use. Burners light up with an explosive sound sometimes posing a threat of a potential gas explosion or a fire hazard. Burner rings of cheap steel , rusted and flakes of rust peeling when stove in use.
      Replacement request forwarded to STOVEKRAFT INDIA via mail, Gas dealer from whom the stove was purchased with a replacement warranty in 2 years, has also been notified, as the same product was endorsed for Quality by HP GAS Company, whose approval stamp has been tagged on the product. For record & information.

        Hi,

        I have bought a Mixer and Grinder of pigeon appliances pvt ltd india, two weeks ago. Within one week the body of product got crack at the bottom.
        I asked to the Seller for writing a complaint, but he told me that Pigeon is not good in providing service and Company never serve warranty period as well. And he told me to leave my Mixer and Grinder to his shop and suggest that when ever company person will come , he will ask him for repair this your product. He also give us the mobile number of company person and when I called to him , he also suggest me to leave the product to the sellers shop.
        But when we bought the product the seller confirms that the Pigeon company serves the product in warranty period and give door to door service. But still we have facing the problem and no company person visit us for repair that product.

          I had ordered for a flask from Pigeon store on 13th September 2011 using Pigeon Appliances Online (www.pigeonestore.com).

          The transaction was successful and the payment of Rs.229 was made online. The details provided by the site on email are as follows:

          The site provided information as the product will be delivered in 5-7 working days, but never received any details on delivery. I replied back to them on 5th of October asking them about the status, but no reply was given.

          On 22nd October 2011, I get a mail that the order has been cancelled, without any reason. The amount too hasn't been refunded as yet. When the money has been debited one month back, why hasn't the product been delivered? Secondly, why no reply was given to the mail sent to the customer care, thirdly how can they cancel my order without any reason, On cancellation from their end, why hasn't the refund been provided as yet.

          I have absolutely no hopes from the customer care of pigeon appliances. This is worst than a scam. Little drop of water makes a mighty ocean, even if 100 people are cheated this way every month, they can make more money.

            We informed PHD Markeitng immediately over the phone and they washed their hands off by saying the maintemnace will be done by another company and gave us some tel.no to contact. We called that number many times and nobody bothered to attend to the problem for the last 4 months, despite many reminders calls thereafter.

            finally on 03.11.2010 one person from Manoj Enterprises, Nagarbhavi circle, Bangalore, attended and saw the problem and said he they cannot solve this problem as it is not covered under warranty, and has charged Rs.50/- for his visit also.
            If the entire clamp comes off the filter how could they say that it is not covered under warranty instead of repairing it?

            It is shocking to see such state of handling by a company like Gilma's vendors with such irresponsible attitiude. The plastic clamp assembly and springs seem to be of inadequate strength and quality as a moving part and for a long term use.

            I would like to request you to kindly look into this problem as i'm fed up of dealing with your vendors who, i feel sorry to say this, would only spoil the name of Gilma.

            Have attached the copy of the bills and receipts.

              Please find the below case history. There is a manufacturing defect in Gilma Gas Stove. This gas stove can brust into pieces which can cost life to the users. Even after so many reminders to the concerned authorities of Stove Craft and Gilma they didn't bother to respond. Kindly go through the case history and take appropriate actions aginst Stove Kraft Pvt. Ltd. and Gilma. Manufacturing of Gilma Glass Gas Stove should be stoped in the interest of the users.

              Even after 5 days my problem has not been resolved. One person from Gilma has came today and seen broken stove and told that this stove was not sold by his showroom. As i informed in my previous mail that i dont have any additional gas stove, so because of delay in service I purchased new gas stove. Now I am forced to file a complaint in consumer court against manufacturing defect of gilma glass stove. Gilma should immediately stop manufacturing and selling such type of defective gas stoves which can cost to the consumers life.

              I am looking for the replacement of Gilma glass stove base with metal base.
              I have gone through the history of complaint about Gilma glass solve.
              Similar kind of complaint has been made by several customers which is even filed with consumer court. Such type of manufacturing defect can cause sever injury to the users, which should be immediately rectified in the intrest o[censored]sers safety.               I had purchased Pigeon stove on 02/12/2010. And having a power problem, we gave our induction stove for repair to a customer service on 07th Feb 2011. But Still they give any Solution for that. Each time i called and ask, they told us there is no parts. We have made many phone calls to Banglore and this customer service at chennai. But the Banglore Phone number there is no response.

              Now I have lost the utmost good faith on the Pigeon service center and the product, also I have suffered lot in this regard. I’m highly dissatisfied with the Pigeon induction Stove and service, and I’m not in the position to pursue with your (poor) service. I never seen and heard such a POOR SERVICE in my lifetime.

              i had purchased a gilma chiminey and the produduct name is viva60. i had purchased this chiminey from park wood, madurai. i purchased on 10-sep-2012 and installed on the same date.from the date of installation it has been cerating huge noise during the use. i have been complaining several and repeated complaints but no action is taken so far, not even responded to our complaint. i have also given complaint to the trade enquiry, Mr. Venkatesh. still nobody comes to solve this problem. this is a real distuabence and creats lots of physical strqains and more of mental strains. we are totally diappointed with your service and thought even to the core of aproaching consumer court. hope you understand us and hope you will do the necessary...
              Its been one month I launch complaint against Pigeon Rapido Aspira Hybrid Induction Cooktop, which stopped working within month after purchasing, but still no response from stovekraft, My complaint number is 90091.
              And I launced it on 9/10/2013 and today is 7/10/2013

Though we lodged a complaint, the Hyderabad Divisional Manager Mr. Suresh Is speaking in such a irresponsible manner giving a pathetic bludy coments like "If we drive on road, a small stone might break a car glass what can we do". Is this a comment, does he know that how can a mother/ wife can cook confidently with a lot of trust on gas stove, where we have faced a terrible situation. But Gilma company must aware of their glass material which they have used is a dangerous one, which is not a heat resistant. Please don't trust the gas stoves blindly with glasses, companies are deceiving consumers as a heat resistant Gas Stoves with Glasses, where they will not bare the heat and suddenly blasts into pieces. "GILMA (Sovekraft) Please use the heat resistant glasses and don't play with our lives, we are with families"

                I had purchased the Pigeon-2 Burner Gas Stove-Jumbo Model in "STAR BAZAR" at Rs.1300/- and the same product in the market is at 900/-.But the product is also not good.After meeting the STAR BAZAR supervisor he is telling you can file a case on Gas stove company and he gave me the number of that company(STOVEKRAFT PVT LTD, BANGALORE).So if a poor person purchased a product in STAR BAZAR he may loose his money.

                I had purchased an electric iron of Pegion company 4, 5 months back. It has a warranty period of 1 year. But it showed some problem for which i shown it to the Shopkeepr from which i bought it. He gave it to the Pegion company to repair it. But same problem continued. I again gave it them and they again repaired it. But after 2, 3 days it again gone wrong. And this time shopkeeper told me that he will ask the copmany to replace this. But after 4, 5 days when i again visited the shop to get my iron they gave me one new iron which was looking like a second hand product. It has some scratches on it. And they are not giving me the new warranty card also. I am not sure about the warranty card, if i will get a new warranty card or not, but i have some doubt on that shop keeper. If a compny is replacing his defected product then he should give me a new product as the product is within the waranty period. I tried to the reach the company service center to which i can directly contact and can know wht is exactly happening. But could not find a contact number of the compny. Please help me in this regard

                I purchased a Futura Gas Table manufactured by Stovecraft, Bangalore.
                Recently one of the burners was broken.

                I had purchased a pigeon induction cooker and it stopped working. I gave it for service at the place where i bought it. They had informed that the repair will happen in 2 days. after that I had to do daily follow ups with the dealer for almost 23 days...and finally got the same repaired. The shopkeeper told that he is also following it up with the company and they are not responding.but i don't know the truth.

                My experience was that the after sales service is pathetic for stovekraft.

                My in-laws purchased a Pigeon 3-burner gas stove at Chennai last week. The manual claims that it has a stainless steel body and stainless steel plates, but when tested with a magnet at home, the magnet sticks to the body as well as the plates. This is NOT stainless steel! Magnet should not stick to the body if it is real stainless steel (we also tested it with the old gas stove from Butterfly and it does not stick to it). Fortunately, they had not used it yet and are taking it for an exchange after talking to the dealer (buying another brand, definitely NOT Pigeon).
                purchased Pigeon 68+ HP Gas Recommends, tag embossed, Serial # HCS 02135, from HP Gas Dealer "Colaba Gas Service", claiming #3 Years Warranty+ 2 years Guarantee + 2 Years REPLACEMENT, but the product does not stand to it's reputation as claimed n approved by a leading HP GAS Company.
                The Stainless steel body is of a thin guage, the the 2 burners are of a poor guality make instead of a regular brass ones, the vessel stands are of a thin guage iron, coated with black paint which peels off after regular use and begins to rust/corrode, leaving flakes of rust particles all around the cooking area.
                The base material used for supply of gas is also of an inferior quality, which leads to corrosion after regular use and one can smell the leakage of GAS at times. The burners light up with an explosive sound sometimes, giving a scare of a potential fire hazard.
                Repeated reminders to the dealer for a REPLACEMENT for a better Quality Product with a request to bear the difference in price has also NOT solicited any response.
                Trust the matter is resolved at the earliest before any unforeseen incident transpires due to faulty/ inferior quality product results in damage to life/property.
