I visited policy bazar website a few months ago to look at some health insurance options.

Since then i am being harassed daily by multiple calls from telemarketers from Policy Bazaar, calling everyday to force me to buy a policy. This conduct is absolutely abhorrent and might I add, in violation of TRAI guidelines.

I have registered myself on DND list too but they still keep calling.

    I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received not only from Policy Bazaar (PB) but also from Max Life (ML) Insurance regarding my request to increase the sum assured for my ML Term insurance policy of Rs1 Cr, which I initiated all the way back in Aug 2023.

    At that time in Aug, I was told that the changes can only happen during the anniversary period i.e Feb/March so this year in Feb around 20th, I raised a request for the same & at that time, Mr. Arun Kumar from PB contacted me, instructing me to raise a request directly with Max Life, providing the necessary contact details. He had also requested for documents regarding health declaration, covid etc which I also provided promptly.

    As instructed I contacted Max Life as well. From ML, Mr. Manmohan Soti got in touch with me and advised that a medical checkup was required, which he would arrange. On March 12th, I received an email confirming the scheduling of my medical checkup. But despite my availability and readiness for the checkup in entire month of March, I was never contacted further regarding this appointment. During this period, I also informed PB about the status, but no follow-up occurred.

    Now In May, PB reps cared to call me asking for the status. I got a call from Ms Muskan Shukla to whom I explaining the entire situation and eventually was asked to raise another request instead. Subsequently, on the new request Mr. Nitesh, from PB, called me and informed me that it was now too late to make any changes and suggested purchasing a new policy, which is neither a feasible nor a satisfactory solution.

    This entire process has been unnecessarily complex and poorly managed, leading to a failure to address my simple request. The role of PolicyBazaar, as a third-party facilitator, was to streamline communication and processes with Max Life, which did not happen. Instead, I faced repeated delays and lack of coordination, ultimately resulting in the failure of my request. On top of this PolicyBazaar reps are making it look like as if Its my fault for not being available even though for entirety of Feb and March I was available but did not receive a single msg or email for the medical checkup OR any further step required.

    In all of this, the experience has been very dissatisfactory from both PolicyBazaar and MaxLife side. None of the reps even bothered to communicate directly with each other asking whether the medical of our customer has ever been completed or whats the hold-up. Only now they bothered cause my request was still open, which has now been closed without any proper solution, and since old policy cant be changed theres a chance to peddle another policy from scratch.

    I know that expecting anything to change now is futile since the change period is long gone and my medical never happened, but I was expecting Policy Bazaar's support teams to atleast communicate on my behalf especially for request like these otherwise whats the point of having third party? But I also suspect next year as well when I will try to do the whole process again, I would most likely be entrapped in this process which takes weeks just to schedule a simple medical let alone change in my policy.

      Policy purchase from policy bazaar and emi was supposed to be debited from my credit card however my wife saving is used for emi however we have never given consent for the same sales person Rishi singh is not answering my calls and not reverting to any query

        I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment with the handling of my car insurance claim by your company.

        My car was involved in an accident on December'23, and I promptly filed a claim with Policy Bazaar. However, to my dismay, the claim was rejected on the grounds of NCB and I was asked to pay the full amount to the garage. I complied with this request and submitted all required documents to Policy Bazaar on 04th January 2024.

        Since then, I have been met with nothing but delays and excuses. I was informed that I needed to pay a penalty for the NCB, which I promptly paid. It has now been over 3 months since I submitted my documents, and my claim is still pending.

        I have tried to communicate with representative of Oriental Insurance multiple times, but my calls have gone unanswered or rudely disconnected. This lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable.

        I expect my refund, along with interest for the delay, to be processed without any further delays.

        Also i would like to request to all my friends to not to buy any insurance through policy bazar and oriental insurance.

          This is bring to your notice that your customer care executives are harrashing me by calling all times regarding different types of policies and despite my denial they are forcing me to purchase their referred policy .
          I have strong objection against this and to tell you that not to repeat any more other wise i will force to take legal action against your company.

              Cancellation of Proposal and issue of Refund of Premium

              I have booked a health policy for Star health insurance thru policy bazaar (proposal ID[protected], it is a case of porting the existing policy. On 20th Jan-24, I have paid the full amount as the policy bazaar agent (Amit Trivedi) advised me.

              On 30th-Jan-24, I have received a Email from Star health in which they confirmed the receipt of premium payment and generate the Customer Code No:AA[protected] and proposal no R.NO: R/161130/01/2024/812935br...

                I have done the payment to renew the policy but the amount was deducted without -renewing the policy

                They are frauds

                  Policy Bazaar is harassing us, after taking Rs 5291 for Bajaj Allianz car insurance they have not generated any policy and now falsely stating that we have a claim done last year which is absolutely not true as we have verified from Iffcotokio. They are holding our money not generating the policy. It was my biggest mistake in life that I have chosen Policy Bazaar. My car insurance is expiring soon and they are just scamming our hard-earned money. The insurance was bought on 19th Feb 24. We have tried several emails and calls to them and every time they have said it would get resolved within 24 hours and now, they are just replying to us the same thing that we have a previous claim made for whose no reference has been given. Kindly help us getting our money back or generate us the policy we have chosen.

                    Dear Team,

                    On 19th February 2024 I have bought one car insurace for my private car from policy bazaar .com . The insurance company was Bajaj allianz but the third party company where I have made the payment was policy bazaar. Earlier we were told as technical issue, Now they are telling us that we have made claims in our last policy which we have not. They are holding our money Rs 5291 and they are not generating the policy. KIndly help us in getting our money back.

                      The employees name is Digvijay Kumar Das. This man wasted my time first thing, he has been insisting continuously on buying health insurance. The call lasted for 10 minutes, and he has been arguing wanting to know my personal details. Regarding my policy, where have I registered for health insurance. Why will I disclose my personal detail to some customer executive.
                      He has been very rude.

                        I booked a policy for my car in which hypothecation was added and the customer support said that the issue would be resolved in 24 hours but till now 5 days have passed but no official copy has been given and no changes have been made in the policy. I will call you every day to tell you that he will be there in 2 hours, wait till 5 o'clock, do this, it will take you the whole day, he has given you a lot of trouble... I have never told anyone as a policy. I have not given advice on getting insurance from the market.

                          I had paid Rs2074 for bike insurance on 2nd Jan but they didn't shared me soft copy of my policy also I raised complaint on 4th Jan 2074 with ticket I'd: PB[protected] but everyday they are sending a same email that allow us 1 working day.
                          This is a high level of fraud that policy bazaar is doing with customer.

                            Hello my name is Vivek.
                            I been trying to get my money back from policy Bazar and max life insurance. I took a life insurance policy from max life insurance via policy bazar. As I do not live in India I took international life insurance plan but for some reason max life insurance rejected my policy. After that I did not receive any refund of whatever money I have invested. I have emailed them so many times but they do not refund the full amount. Please do help me and let me know what should I do?

                              I renewed my health insurance (no.[protected] at care health insurance via policy bazar Jan 3rd 2023 with Policy Bazar Reference ID Reference ID:[protected].

                              This renewal happened after many conversations with Mr. K Singh (PW40053).
                              He Had Shared with me policywordings.pdf attached to convince me that there is maternity benefit along with the policy. Please Refer to Page No.3 point 1.36. Email screen shot attached.

                              After Renewal i received another email with Care insurance that maternity is permanently excluded.

                              My wife got admitted to hospital after labour pain on November 28th 2023.As part of admission i submitted insurance details. On November 29th I got a rejection email from care health insurance claiming maternity benefit is excluded. I called up policy bazar asking why is there change after i renewed my policy. I have requested them to go through the recordings of my conversations with policy bazar customer service agents. They have not responded until today December 5th 2023. It has been been 5 days now and I had to pay entire hospital charges from my pocket. I request govt officials to intervene in this matter and address my issue and help me get my money refunded. Also help other innocent citizens getting trapped in this vicious insurance sector. I usually get not less than 5 calls per day for renewals but when I ask a question they do not even respond.

                                  Purchased policy on Nov 12th and PB agent has entered wrong gender, and has mentioned while making payment which he told this will be taken care by his manager, as he dont have edit access, and doing the follow up since Nov 16th with no use, PB32938987

                                  Another policy with wrong email id :- doing the followup since it was purchased with no luck

                                  Now following up for cancellation with no proper response,
                                  They respond till we make payment

                                    "Buyers Beware "
                                    Policy Bazaar agent urged and rushed me to pay a higher premium & migrated my policy to earn a higher commission & made a fraud & missold to me.
                                    The pre-existing disease was to be mentioned & it was supposed to be underwritten before issuance but neither PED was mentioned not Pre underwriting was done and the policy was issued without my knowledge just to earn a higher commission they are doing this fraud & misselling to all the customers.
                                    Now they don't even bother to respond & call back and compensate for Fraudulent selling and deficiency in services

                                      I have paid health Indurance premium for 2 years for Care health Supreme plan as per link sent by policy bazar person. I have paid Rs.43234/- as per policy bazar Order NO.PB79493656 and payment also successfully deducted. After receipt of payment we are waited for Polcy copy which generally comes in 5-10 minutes but it won't come so i have contacted to RM Abhi assigned by them "after contacting so many times" he just reply in some day you will get copy soon it is under process so we waited for another 3-4 days and again contacted him also on general desk line also they neither transfer line nor got any call from Policy bazar Rm Abhi some time give reply on whatsapp only wait for 2-3 day it is under process we have also raise complain for not receipt of Policy copy in app but they are not giving reply to my concern and not they are issuing my health Insurance copy after taking payment
