I cannot believe that a company basing its business on an online model and has this level of customer service. Please be careful in dealing with this company, they can issue a policy and will follow-up with you like crazy till you make the payment and after that you are at their mercy. My policy cover-note has been issued 2 days late than promised, when I recd the cover note it had wrong details and now I am calling them and waiting for their response to resolve the mistake and they are asking for more money.

    Hi,

I have a complaint and bad feedback about my experience with policy bazaar.

I had asked for renewal of my car insurance policy and their customer care executive had sent me the quotes after the discussion. I had agrees to the quotes and one representative had come to collect the documents and cheque.
Now it’s more than 3 week, but I am yet to get any insurance policy document so I contacted the policy bazaar and they told me that they will look into this and will get back to me. I received the call from their representative who had come to my Mumbai address to collect the documents that the amount for the policy will be Rs. 7943 instead of Rs 5707 (Which was agreed and sent in the Quote), I still can’t understand why this huge difference is there.

I was anyway getting the policy renewed from other 3-4 vendors in price range of[protected] but I choose policy bazaar because of cost benefit and ease of renew but now my car policy is already expired, so who will be responsible for this.

I cannot understand how can policy bazaar can give me such quotes and then take a back step after 3 weeks and asking for more than 40% more money from me for the policy. If they are not capable to execute the policy then they should have told me before so that I could have contacted other policy providers to renew my policy. What kind of bad systems and processes they have?

I was expecting policy bazaar to take this matter ahead and as committed to me they should send me the policy on the agreed amount ASAP. I had talked to their customer care executives and even their supervisor and every time they say that we will give you a callback withing 15-20 minutes but never receives any call.

My recommendation here is "DO NOT USE POLICYBAZAAR FOR ANY POLICY AND CONTACT INSURANCE COMPANY FOR ANY INSURANCE AS THEY DO NOT HAVE CAPABLE SYSTEM AND CAPABLE PEOPLE TO EXECUTE THE POLICY PROPERLY"

      Dear Sir/Madam,

I am receiving advertisement mails from Policy Bazaar highlighting the Family Health Policy.
In this advertisement they mentioned "cover your entire family @5.80 per day".
With reference of this advertisement I shown interest to Policy Bazaar for such policy.
I was shocked when the official called me on my mobile phone and asking to pay premium of Rs.5100.00 for my father's health policy and Rs. 6600.00 premium for my wife+son+Myself. When I asked them for the Policy mentioned in the advertisement in the mail received by me from Policy Bazaar;then the caller of Policy Bazaar started laughing and told me that there is no policy as per the advertisement. He also told me that These mails are being sent by Policy Bazaar to just attract the crowd and he is not able to give any details such policy which is mentioned in the said emails.
So I would like complaint you against Policy Bazaar regarding these FAKE ADVERTISEMENT.
For your reference please find enclosed attachment of the screen shot of the advertisement Email from Policy Bazaar.
Also please tell me or guide me where should I file legal complaint regarding the same matter.

      Thanking you.

The payment for health insurance policy Health Booking reference number :PBO_30357 from Apollo Munich Health Insurance through Policy Bazaar for my mother was done by me on 16th Apr 2011. It is now one and a half months, the medical has not been conducted for my mother(SnehLata Sodani) at Indore inspite of repeated follow-ups.They keep on telling my mother to keep fasting and then no one turns up for blood sample collection. I have followed up with Policy Bazaar at-least 25 times and have written at-least 10 mails to them.

I would like to have a full refund of my money paid Rs. 10479.

I had been sold Apollo Munich standard floater Medical Insurance Policy by Policy Bazaar representative - one person named Mr Wasim from Gurgaon.
An amount of Rs. 19085/- dated 4th may 2011was paid through ICICI Bank e-banking and relevant medical documents as well as the forms were sent to Policy Bazaar, Gurgaon Centre.
I had asked for medical check up of me and wife (both in the age range 50-55 years).
I was assured that medical check up will be arranged immediately on my visit to Nagpur, which i did in May- 2nd week as well as last week.
In spite of repeated follow ups, no action was taken with regards to medical check up through PB, resulting into non issue of policy.
It is now almost a month and still following.
I would caution the readers not to avail services of PB which they as middle agency have failed to provide.
I would request also for early resolution of my policy or return the money with interest.

            • That I am a regular policy holder of Reliance Health General.
            • That I had paid a premium of `2520 (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Twenty only) for Reliance HealthWise Policy of sum assured 2 Lakhs (family floater).
            • That I had given a call to Reliance Health General on Jan 4th to know the premium amount due and make the payment. They had informed me that my policy premium is due on March 2011 for which they had sent me SMS on 5th Jan stating: “Dear Customer, Your Reliance HealthWise Policy is due for Renewal in March 2011. Pls Contact your agent or nearest Reliance General Insurance Branch”.
            • That I had got a call yesterday (20th Jan 2011) from Reliance General (phone line# +[protected] informing that my policy has been expired. Am I interested to renew the policy? If yes, then make a premium payment of `7581 (Rupees Seven Thousand Five Hundred Eighty One).
            • When I asked for the change in my premium amount from `2520 to `7581, Mr. Sahil Gandhi told me that there has been many insurance claims and fraud cases of insurance claim because of which we have to increase the premium.
            • That I am surprised and shocked of Reliance Generals communication procedure that I had never got any intimation about my policy renewal. On the other hand, when I did call them for the renewal of my policy, they misguided me by sending the SMS. Now they are calling to pay hefty premium which they had mentioned in the policy document that premium will remain constant for the same sum assured.
            • That this is totally illicit for a customer to be first misguided so that the policy get expired and then insurance company collecting more money to regularize or reactivate the policy.

              Dear Mr.Yashihs,
              good evening.

This is kunal vishwakarma here,Two days back have taken policy through policybazar for apollo.

Yesterday got call from apollo team directly for policy proposal, when I shared with them that have taken policy of apollo from policybazar.com. The response from apollo team was quite surprising,
They said the quality of service will really differ if i take policy from policybazar.com

am really confused. your team has really helped me alot, but still am not convinced with go along with policybazar.com now after listening the fact about QUALITY OF SERVICE difference.

I seek for your intervention and provide me the clarity,Because as per yerterday communication it was very well proveen that there is lack of transperancy, co-ordination, communication failure between Policybazar.com and apollo team.

I am sorry to troube you, but thought let me give try and take your opinion.

              Regards,

                Dear sir,

Policy Bazaar: Acknowledgement For Payment Recieved : Life Booking Reference: PBO_9766

I made a payment of Rs.12500/- to Policy bazaar for Aviva New Pension Plan. The mail received on 24th July 2010 from [protected]@policybazaar.com, contain one clause

"Please be informed that we should receive the self attested proposal form along with the other self attested documents within 7 working days of the payment being made, failure after which the booking will automatically stand cancelled and the amount would be refunded to you in the form of a Demand Draft after deduction of 2.5%."

As on date proposal form along with other attested documents is not given to Policy bazaar, however as per clause money not returned by Policy bazaar.

Numerous mail were sent to [protected]@policybazaar.com, however no one had reverted.

I got call from policy bazaar within 5 min of filling up details. No call received against mail sent for returning of money. Its really pathetic service.

I want my money back, after deduction of 2.5%.

                Regards

                Ashish.

I am also not able connect to their customer care executive as it is showing the number you have called is busy right now.

I just received a mail that shows my reference number for the further communication with Policy Bazaar. However, I have not yet received any reply from Customer care even after mailing them.

Recently I purchased a car insurance from Policy Bazaar, before placing an order I asked for all the facilities I am going to get if I am buying from them .

Till date haven't received original policy document and nor resolution of issues raised by me after placing an order.

Pathetic customer support and lousy behavior. Would suggest ban on such sites an recomed every one not to use this site for any purchases....
