Miselling of health insurance policy

I have bought comprehensive car policy by Jan 2025 and claimed car insurance for the year 2025.

However from initial stage of claim approval policy bazzar asked previous year insurance policy of comprehensive I.e 2024 and I have intimated them that I have only third party insurance for previous year not for own damage.

After completion of my vehicle repair DL 7CR 9633 now policy bazzar is refused to make payment...

unresponsive after payment

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from this insurance advisor. While he was prompt and responsive before the payment, his attitude changed entirely once the payment was made.

After that point, he has been completely unresponsive to calls and messages, and has not provided any of the support or follow-up assistance that was expected. This is not just frustrating — it’s a clear failure in basic...

Dear Madam/Sir,

This is to inform you that, I have taken a policy from policy bazaar - Max Smart Total Elite Protection Term plan( policy nmbr[protected] and the email the agent/advisor entered was wrong and I didn't received my policy details over email. Also due to some terms issue, I cancelled the policy and requested for refund over the phone and through mobile application. But they didn't accept and no refund has issued.

I need to file a complaint against their action as they given a policy over phone call but not accepting the cancellation of policy over phone call and through application..

Adding to it, I requested for the email id change and the cancellation of this policy using the registered email id of policy bazaar account. All the email conversation is attached for your references.

Please consider my email and do the needful at the earliest.

    I am Rajeev; I bought health insurance Sarah Uttam for myself and my mother on 12 Mar 2025. Same day I applied for cancel and refund of the policy money as I wish to buy that policies separately. Their policy advisors told me they will refund it by 19th Mar firstly. So I bought and paid for two separate Health Insurance for myself and my mother. Later they told me that they will refund the money by 23 Mar 2025. But still they didn’t refund it. Instead they giving excuses to tell that they will refund it by 29 Mar 2025; which I can’t accept as a consumer and they holding my money without a reason. My ticket ID for payment is PB[protected]. I would like to get my refund as soon as possible and if they making it more hard for me then get an appropriate interest on how many days they hold my money.

      I got car insurance for my car on 08-Jan-2025 at Policybazaar.

      Also, when I took insurance, my previous NCB was 0% and my current NCB should be 20% only. When I got the proposal it was mentioned the same only, but after receiving the policy the NCB is mentioned as 50%. Can you please check and update the same to correct the NCB?

      I have submitted the above complaint on Jan 09th, 2025. I received an update on 24th Jan saying need to pay the extra amount to change the NCB to 20%.

      I spoke to customer care and mentioned as per the proposal submitted and the amount I received it was for the 20% NCB only, now as the mistake is from the PolicyBazaar side or Bajaj Allianz insurance side I could not bear the additional charges.

      They asked me to send an email on the same which the customer care team asked me to resolve the issue.

      They are not responding to emails or resolving after sending the email.

      Now it's more than one and a half months, If I am asking they are asking me to pay the difference amount(Rs. 933.00) to get the updated insurance.

      They are not agreeing it's a mistake from their side and simply telling its a technical glitch so I need to pay the extra amount.

      Please refund the amount or correct the insurance policy as the policy is not valid without the correct NCB.

      Also, the payment link whatever they are sending also not working!

      I have been taking the policy from policy bazaar for over 8 years and this is the first time I have faced this improper customer support.

        The agent who sold insurance told me the payment will be no cost EMI however when I got payment structure a hefty interest was added.

          I purchased car insurance from Bajaj Allianz through Policybazaar. During the purchase process, the app asked whether we had made any claims under our expired policy, to which we marked "No" since no claim was made. It also asked for the No Claim Bonus (NCB) percentage for the previous policy, and we selected 50%, as we believed we were eligible for a 50% NCB. The app confirmed this eligibility.

          However, our claim has now been rejected by Bajaj Allianz, citing an incorrect NCB selection. They mentioned that we should not have selected 50%, as we had made a claim on the policy prior to the last one. Policybazaar did not provide any clear information about this detail or ask for the specifics of previous claims. It only inquired about the last policy's NCB percentage and confirmed our eligibility for 50% NCB.

          As a result, our car has been stuck in the garage for over two weeks, and we are facing significant inconvenience. I am disappointed that Policybazaar did not provide sufficient information to prevent this situation. I request an urgent resolution, as our car has been out of service for an extended period after the accident. My policy number with Bajaj Allianz is OG[protected]-00114142.

            ON 25.09.24, i have taken car insurance policy from HDFC ERGO by paying premium of 4852/- towards OWN DAMAGE PREMIUM and 378/- towards PERSOANAL ACCIDENT COVER premium from GO DIGIT INSURANCE.
            I have received car insurance policy but not PAC from Go Digit nor any confirmation of having received PAC premium.
            When i contacted both cos expressed helplessness by saying that i have to make the PAC premium to insurance company but not through policy bazar.
            Please let me know correct position.

              Baby addition in running health insurance

              I visited the Policy Bazar website a few days ago to look at some health insurance options.

              Since then i have been harassed on call by Maninder singh [protected] from telemarketers from Policy Bazaar, calling everyday to force me to buy a policy. This conduct is abhorrent and might add, in violation of TRAI guidelines.

              It looks like Maninder singh has a habit of speaking nonsense and providing wrong information...

              Dear Sir,

              I herewith registering a complaint against policy bazar as they canvased me for taking a life insurance plan and I paid amount of 200007 Rs on July 7th, 2024. And then the process was begun and it gone as never-ending and cause me so much time loss, effort, leave from job etc. to undergo multiple medical tests, form filling, unwanted calls from policy bazaar from unknown numbers etc. So as of today, 2024, I haven't received any proper information about my money or poly issuance etc. I have raised many tickets, and which are still pending with policy bazar and never resolved also.
              In nutshell very badly i need to escalate this issue and required a compensation amount of not less than 100 Lakhs Indian rupees. The policy bazaar company and team of executives were brain washed and consumed and holding my money for more than 30 days unwantedly as well as created much more problems which now affected mentally and also affected my job stature as well also it created family issues due to this purchase through policy bazaar So i need to resolve this case by getting the above-mentioned compensation asap. Iam attaching the proof of amount deduction, tickets.

                After purchasing the policy on 26th November 2023. They sent the policy via email and after 3 days sent me an email about cancellation request and refund automatically. I didn't request any cancellation and I wan't given any reason for cancellation either. Even after that they still kept showing me that the policy was active on my account and my policy was not cancelled.

                When I went to claim then I got to know that the policy was not activated and even after I got confirmation about no policy against my car they still didn't had any confirmation whether my policy was active or not.

                After parade of calls to their customer care department and to head of customer care I got to know that my policy was not activated and they were showing me false status for past 7 months.

                After the call they cancelled my policy on policybazaar and didn't give me any compensation or claim value for my car damages.

                  I had renewed a two wheeler insurance but the vehicle number, engine number & chassis number is incorrect but the owner name is correct. I had entered the correct vehicle number but it comes with a missing letter. Chassis number nor the engine number did not show when I was renewing. It directly went to payment.. only after payment it showed everything wrong. When I ask the executive they are suggesting no cancellation nor change requests as I have updated them when I have not. I fail to understand if the registration number is wrong how can the owner name be correct? Very frustrating.

                    Irritating calls

                    I installed policy bazar application to check some information. I never agreed for any calls from anyone from policy bazar, after which I kept on receiving repeated calls from different landline numbers sometimes 3-4 times a day.                     Same I checked in my savings account statement but it clearly showed payment was made to the policy bazaar but it did not fail.

                    Required evidence and mail already shared with policy Bazaar...
