I bought Puma Jago Ripstop Shoes on 09th Jan 2016 from Puma Store in Madiwala, Bangalore. Model no. is 18792202 and shoes size is 10. Price Rs.4999.
Within 10 days of purchase I realized some manufacturing defect in Left shoe and I returned the shoes for replacement. The store employee told me that within 1 week I will get the replacement but I had to wait for 3 weeks to get my replacement and that too when I kept proper follow-up with them. There was no communication from Puma Store regarding the replacement of shoes which is very unprofessional. Finally, after rigorous follow-up when I did not get any positive response I asked them for refund and then suddenly I got a callback from them saying that my replacement has been approved and I need to go to any MRP store of Puma to collect my shoes replacement which was really shocking & unacceptable to me. First of all, I did not get any response from Puma for 3 weeks and then they told me that I have to visit any other store just because they are Out of Stock for same shoe model...Is it my fault that they do not have stock in store?? Or I am paying for my biggest mistake of purchasing shoes from Puma?? Seriously, I did not expect such an unethical way of treating customers by Puma.
By seeing no choice, I agreed to visit the other Puma store. After checking the new shoes in Puma Store in Forum Mall, Kormangala, Bangalore on 14th Feb, I agreed to collect them and at this point came the biggest shock...I was told to pay Rs.500 extra with reason that prices have shoot up for this shoe model. So, when I tried to justify my reason of not paying extra 500 bucks they tried to make me realize that its my mistake that I went for replacement. When I argued with them & with Madiwala Puma employee, they clearly told me that either you pay extra 500 bucks otherwise you can re-collect your old shoes. And when I rejected both offers and asked for refunds they shamelessly told me that I wont get my money back...Wowwwww, Congratulations to me...I have been robbed of 5000 bucks by Puma...thats what I felt at that moment. What a high level of professionalism & ethics shown by Puma to its consumer...I really really appreciate it. Finally, I realized my worst mistake of life of choosing Puma rather than other brands who are more professionals and show more ethics to their consumers.
Now, I do not have my shoes...I did not get my money back and to top of that I was treated in such an unprofessional way by Puma like I am an alien and I am asking Puma to give me shoes for FREE. So, now I want my money to be refunded because I do not have anymore energy of visiting any Puma store or following-up with those stupids who do no know how to treat their customers.
Puma customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
