Respected Sir,
I am Jitesh Dembla & my Account No . [protected] Sir without giving any information they Blocked my Account and in between i have paid the payment to someone by Cheque and the cheque was dis honed. That person is ready to file suite against me in a respective court. And it was happened because of Rani Bagh Branch. Sir the main problem is that I am getting Pension from Haryana Government PPO No . 20627/F-HR Legally it should have to come till 25yrs of age & my DOB is[protected] but it come till Sept09 by mistake of your Rani Bagh branch Officer's. I don't Know anything about this rule & now they blocked my Account for recovery without any information. Sir please do something till tomorrow or I have File a case against the Punjab National Bank in Consumer court.

SIR,

Rani bagh branch of punjab national bank do not making my credit card inspite of having all proofs regarding this. They told me that you should have minimum 4 lakhs ruppes in your account to have your own credit card, but this type of rule is not given by customer care of credit card branch and also they told me that this is not any rule which a customer should have. I have important online work to do in which credit card is very neccesary. Please sir help me or give me complaint number to call and request there or please suggest me what to do..

      I completed all the formality related to opening of DMAT account on 28 oct 2009.
      But my DMAT acount is not opened till now. I have done all the formality at lucknow Gomti nagar branch.
      its near about 2 and half month but account is in pending condition.
      i am unable to get the reason behind this.
      is it the legal time duration to open the DMAT account.
      when i go to bank then they are not giving me the reason.
      even they call me one time" saying that one signature is remaining". so i go there and do the signature.
      i talk to manager after than my form is accepted by concern department (it's all done on 12 december 2009). Even it is more then one month but my account is not open till now.
      I think this is a bad response from PNB side. By doing this they can loose their customer.

        i opened an account in Punjab national bank ; sec 16 D Chandigarh and Mrs. Arun Jhamb from PNB was assisting me in month of september'09 .... she gave me an ATM card in hand and said it will be activated with in 24 hrs .... n then u can start having your salary in this account.... when it was not activated in 1 month period... i contacted them , i received a message that your documents are not complete.... i complied to there request in first week of november'09... still i didn't got a reply from them.... and in last month of December i received a call from PNB that sorry for inconvenience please have a new ATM card....
        i will be highly thankful to you if you look into this matter

        Dear SirMadam,

        This mail is regarding the ACNo- [protected] (Account Activation).
        As i am the customer of PNB Daryaganj Branch Since long time & i was using the ATM too, Since longer time i have not used the ATM Card for Withdrawal.
        Today i have checked my ATM Card but it was not working. There for i have spoken to Diljeet in Customer Care[protected], As per him my account got deactivated.
        i could not able to Withdrawal money, in the mean time he suggested me to contact to branch for Account Activation. As i am not in the position to visit to New Delhi as my posting is in Bangalore.I have tried to contect to Daryaganj Branch over the phone[protected]/23275223/[protected], But there is not response, bell was keeps on ringing...
        I would request you to please do the Account Activation.

          Dear Sir,
          I am Sulekha Devi.I have a saving a/c no.[protected] in PNB at Punjabi bagh.New Delhi.I used my ATM Card for cash withdrawl of Rs.5000/- but bank atm did not work & I withdraw the same amount on next day from HDFC Bank Atm of Rs.5000/-. But bank has debited the amount twice.I requested to bank to Plz credit this amt.They have told me that they will take 10 days.
          Sir I am thinking about their mistake & trying to make fool the people. I want to take early action against this.

I tried to transfer Rs 2000.00 Through ATM Card No-[protected] of PNB from the ATM of Punjab national Bank at Kutubkhana at Bareilly. However the transaction was declined due to transaction time out reason. After some time on dated 24 the November 09 when I Checked my account in PNB bank ATM . In my account Rs 2000 Dr in account.
          In view of above may I requested PNB Bank to kindly credit Rs 2000 back to my account as soon as possible.
          Our complaint No 23488951 dated 31 December 2009 is registered in your Channai & Gurgaon Call center. He is give the reply we are short out complaint with in 21 days. But no response from your call center. At present he is says This is branch Problem Ple contact to Branch Manager he is solve the problem.

            A/C NO.-[protected]. MY PNB DEBIT CARD WAS STOLEN AT HOWRAH JUNCTION ON 24 DEC. 2009 AT 9:30 PM. IMMEDIATELY I HAD INFORMED TO NEAREST POLICE STATION. ON 25 DEC. 2009, I REACHED AT JEHANABAD, BIHAR. THAT DAY WAS HOLIDAY. SO I WENT TO PNB JEHANABAD BRANCH ON 26 DEC. 2009 AND INFORM HIM ABOUT LOST OF DEBIT CARD. THEY GAVE ME A PHONE NO.- [protected] AND TOLD ME THAT CALL AT THIS NUMBER AND BLOCK YOUR DEBIT CARD. SO I CALLED AT THAT NUMBER AND INFORM HIM ABOUT MISSING OF MY DEBIT CARD. AFTER VERIFICATION THEY TOLD ME THAT NOW YOUR CARD IS BLOCK AND GAVE ME A REFERENCE NUMBER[protected] ABOUT MY COMPLAIN. AT THAT TIME THEY ASKED ME ABOUT MY LAST TRANSITION FOR VERIFICATION AND I TOLD HIM & THAT WAS TRUE. BUT AFTER THIS, SOME ONE HAD SWAPPED MY ACCOUNT WITH Rs. 11849.00 IN FOUR TRANSITION. AFTER THIS INFORMED THE BANK & ALSO TO SERVICE PROVIDER OF PNB BUT THEY ARE NOT GIVING ANY REASON SO I AM IN PRESSURE BECAUSE I AM A STUDENT & THIS AMMOUNT IS VERY BIG FOR ME.

              I have a saving bank account in Punjab National Bank Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. On 3/10/2009 my account was hacked and an amount of Rs.16000/- was transferred from account to a PNB account at Kanpur. The full details of the culprit (Name, a/c No., address) is available with the bank. The culprit is recepitant of scholarship from UP Govt. His name and a/c No. and the college is available in the UP Govt. Site (Scholarship Management System) Complaint is filed in PNB Anushaktinagar Branch Mumbai and Cyber Police Mumbai. So far nothing concrete has come out. Whenever I contact the bank Manager in this regard, he says bank only can provide the information. Only police can help in the matter. In my opinion Bank is also equally responsible for this.

                  I am holder of joint account no. [protected](savings) with PNB., Lodhi road. On 14.11.2009 I had withdrawn a sum of Rs 7000/- through ATM. the amount has been debited four times in my account and credited only twice on the same date i.e. 14.11.2009. The net effect of these entries is excess debit of Rs 7000/-. As such another credit of Rs 7000/- is to be afforded in my accoun t.

                    hello,
                    i kapil babbar opted to book my train ticket through irctc which costed me 315. but due to connection problem or server malfunction i could not book one. but my payment got deducted twice (315+315). when i later complained i was told transaction will reverse back within 72 hrs. i got my money back but they have deducted service charges.
                    why should i pay a service charge when i have not availed any service????
                    when i called pnb regarding it they told me they have not deducted any charge they provide online ticketing free of cost, it is irctc that has deducted charges. and when i call irctc they are saying it is pnb that has deducted service charges.....
                    what to do???

                      PNB IS NOT EXTENDING BENEFIT OF TDS AS PER DTAA(DOUBLE TAXATION AVOIDANCE AGREEMENT) ON NRO DEPOSITS.
                      OTHER BANKS LIKE BOI AND ICICI BANK ARE ALLOWING THIER NRO A/C HOLDERS BY DEDUCTING TDS AS PER DTAA. I AM THEREFORE SHIFTING MY DEPOSITS TO THOSE BANKS. MY CUSOMER ID WITH PNB IS ARS000910. I AM A NRI RESIDENT OF INDONESIA. AS PER DTAA THE TDS ON MY DEPOSITS SHOULD BE DEDUCTED @ 10%. BUT TO MY SURPRISE THE SAME HAS BEEN DEDUCTED @ 30.9%.
                      I THEREFORE WOULD ADVISE ALL NRO DEPOSIT HOLDERS OF PNB TO HAVE DEPOSITS WITH THOSE BANKS WHO ARE AT LEAST AWARE OF INDIAN LAWS.

                          Whom so ever i may concern,

                          I have been applying for education loan from Punjab National Bank

                          Lucknow, Aashiana Sector - M Branch.

                          I have applied 4 times and each time the HUB office, situated at Kapoorthla, Hazratganj, Lucknow has rejected my application over absolutely absurd things. i applied for 7.5 lacs for overseas studies. There was no relevant rejection statement each time. i have been completing every requirement stated by them. Still at the end, they reject it on absolutely absurd things.

                          My 2 year of academic life has been wasted due to this stupidity done by incosiderate loan officers "working" in PNB ...

                          I dunno if consumer complaint thing works or not .. will this thing will be read or not.

                            dear sir/madam,
                            i would like to lodge a complaint against Punjab National Bank as i suffered a lot from it's poor service quality. I had to make a withdrawal of Rs. 15000, on the date of 06/07/2009, using my ATM-cum-DEBIT CARD. I was withdrawing this amount from ALLAHABAD BANK'S ATM, After a long period of waiting(approx 10 minutes) my account has been debited the same amount but i didn't get the cash.

                            from that day onwards, PNB's employee (Punjab National Bank, Chirki, Giridih, Jharkhand) makes a lot of excuses. Although i have submitted a numerous complaints always their staff make a new excuse.I had lodge a complaint(complaint id[protected] to their help-line, but after 12 days they sent a message stating that my complaint has been rejected, and suggest me to contact my local branch.
                            I had almost lost the hope from any corner. If you can make any help towards my problem I will be ever grateful to u.

                            Respected sir,
                            I am a costomer of your bank since 2006. My account no. [protected] and it is running actively. I had loghed a complaint regarding ATM transaction. My account was debited with Rs. 6000/- but I didn't get the cash. The transaction was done on 10/01/2010. the complaint was loghed on they very day & the docket no. given to me at time of complaint was 23944385. I am not getting any response from your toll free number, they are delaying the matter by saying that the amount will be credited in the account in 2-3 days.
                            Since it has been 45 days & I have not received the money, your good self is respected to please resolve the case as soon as possible.

                              WHY THERE IS HARRASEMENT OF CUSTOMERS PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, BO-NANGAL RAYA, JANAK PURI. NEW DELHI.
                              1. TRANSFER OF CHEQUES OF THE SAME BANK ARE NOT PAID/TRANSFERRED ACROSS THE COUNTER IMMEDIATELY. TAKES 2-3 DAYS.
                              2. PASSBOOKS ARE NO COMPLETED AFTER MAKING PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITED CASH ACROSS THE COUNTER AT THE TIME OF DEALING.
                              3. WHY ALL THE WORK RELATED TO MANAGER POWER PUT ON NEXT DAY?
                              EITHER IT IS ATTESTATION OF SIGNATURE, OPERATION OF LOCKER AND ANY QUERY RELATED TO LOANS AND IT IS SAID THAT I AM NOT A LOAN PERSON. STAFF IS SHORT AND I DON'T KNOW WHO WILL DO THIS WORK.
                              4. HOUSEKEEPING OF THE BRANCH IS SO POOR THAT THE OPENING TIME OF THE BRANCH IS NOT BROOMED AND THERE DUST EVERYWHERE.
                              IT SEEMS THAT NO SWEEPER IS POSTED.IT DEFAMES THE NAME OF THE BANK.

                              When I complaint to manager ...He said there is a short of staff, he is not polite with Bank Customers, Nobody is Here to help old age persons to guide.

                              Manager will work only when Customers were angry.

                                With regard,
                                My father had taken a loan from PNB of 1.5 lacs, and had paid all the installment and got a clearance certificate from the bank after all the compermisation three(3) years ago, but after three year bank is saying that there is still some ammount to be paid, and we have to pay that anyhow.
                                the matter is that, if still there is some amount to be paid, then how the bank has provided us the clearence certificate.

                                  I have sent remittances of Rs. 1,28,265/- from Riyadh on 25.08.2009 to my Account No. [protected] in the PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK KHANPUR BRANCH (2380), HOOGHLY – W.B. 712308 through corresp. Bank HDFC BANK Mumbai, India. HDFC Bank Mumbai has issued a DD of Rs.1,28,182.27 vide no. 918109 dated 26.08.09 drawn on Union Bank of India Khanpur – 539228 and sent to the Punjab National Bank said branch.

                                  On the several occasion when I enquired for the credit of the said amount Bank personnel replied that it’s a outstation DD so it’s gone for collection. Whereas, as per your cheque collection Policy Cheque Drawn on other banks at other areas, i.e. other than metro/state capitals Collect Within 14 days of tender of instrument.
                                  But it’s a matter of great regret that till date the said amount is not yet credited into my account.

                                  In consequence of the above I am facing tremendous financial limitations and hope that you can understand the situation very well and requesting your good self to look into it and resolve the matter at the earliest and oblige.
                                  I shall be looking forward to hearing your positive response soon.

                                    there is complaint about atm transaction. my father's account in punjab national bank . I had transaced amount from SBI ATM in[protected] amount TWENTY THOUSAND but i recived the the amount only TEN THOUSAND and statement is also showing TWENTY THOUSAND I have registred complaint on PNB HELP LINE NO MY COMPLAINT NO IS 1973566 .But till now they did not give the feedback regarding this complaint. so i request you pls handel this case

                                      hello sir,
                                      I, Gopal Das Chanap, have a saving A/C in Punjab National Bank (PNB) Civic Center Bhilai & also have a ATM of PNB number[protected] and i try to withdraw the money (Rs. 10000/-)
                                      from SBI ATM machine, Maroda Utai, Bhilai (6995) on 11/07/09 but i did not receive cash and when i check my A/C the same amt had been deducted.
                                      I made complaint for this case at the PNB Bank but there has been no response till time.
                                      I again made complain in customer care (toll free no[protected] times but get no output and also PNB bank have tried so many times to their PNB head office.
                                      So Plz give the solution to my this problem.

                                        i have to say about pnb branch in siyana (bulandshahr).they give such a very stupid service in bank to customer. They do not how to talk customer they think we are his servant.Even Manager attitude is also same.They are not ready to tell about bank policy. Really Such a stupid policy.

                                        last so many days whenever i go to pnb srinagar, no one to entertain me . i just want to latest entry on my passbook, no one do this simple job. they are giving the server , electricity and busy causes.

                                        I, Ashish saini account holder in your bank, branch of Tri nagar (Delhi).

                                        Due to unavoidable reason and personal behaviour of your branch staff, I have planned to discontinue my CC, SA & RD account services from your prestigious bank only because of your staff behaviour of mentioned branch as they all are selfish and wants to be at their home before 5 pm anyhow, whether customer have to roam here and there for cash deposit at 3.55 pm or any new customer wants to attach with your bank they directly deny for accepting form and cash as well, even their cheif/ manager have much interest in gossips or hello/ hi with the other peoples or staff members rather to solve customer’s problem or inconvenience.

                                        Today February 23rd 2011, i went their with my aged mother for her new account and FD purposes but your brach staff directly deny for providing service with a unprofessional statement that “bhai sahib aab hum 4 bhej tk account hi thona kholte rhenge, hume b ghr jana h humne cash tally kr liya h, agar services s satisfied nhi ho to manager pa jao ya kisi or bank ma” and they all are playing with me by guiding me another counters, that go to Mr. Jain he’ll guide you or go to Mrs. XYZ she’ll deposit your cash and so on so i torn my form their and decide to discontinue with PNB and will opt for Standard chartered bank or ICICI any private bank who know how to behave with their customer and care take them.

                                        I’ll not disclose any individual’s name as it does not suit to fetch bread and butter from other’s mouh and hope you’ll take any stern action for the same and will handling this problem professionally not as they do.

                                        Punjab National Bank is the worst bank as far as customer service is concerned. My complaint is regarding treatment of customers if you are transacting at a branch other than your native branch. Each branch has different procedure for accepting cash deposit from customer belonging to other branch. For example, Branch at West Patel Nagar, New Delhi accepts cash for other branch customer from 3-4pm. The branch at Sector-1 Noida issues token (10 customer in one sequence) and lets the customer stand outside branch entry door (imagine the heat in May/June). The Sector 18, Noida branch is one step ahead. They let you stand in scorching sun outside the branch where they have a dingy window to accept cash from other branch customer. I urge the all the harassed customers of PNB to close their accounts and let the scoundrels (bank staff of PNB) know that their salaries come from the business that we give to bank. I urge citizens of my country not to tolerate the injustice. Be LIONS. Speak up and claims your rights.
