There is a calculation mistake in my last 4 bills regarding the consumption of Power unit (KWH) which caused me more bill amount.

I have already tried to contact customer service via whatsapp no. [protected] (hoshiarpur) as given on official PSPCL website as well as via email. They have not responded to any of my query even when I call the whatsapp no. the person disconnected the call by saying that he is on holiday and cannot help. I also contact the sub division office but they said that we cannot help you. So, Finally I decide to complaint here.

1. Bill issued on 03-MAY-2018: NEW and OLD meter readings are same but consumption of 170 KWH has been put forward.

-- According to 170 KWH the new meter reading must be 9445.

2. Bill issued on 03-JULY-2018: OLD meter reading due to the previous issue is 9275 but its actual reading is 9445.

-- According to 9445 as OLD meter reading, the power consumption must be 479 but it is 443
-- (-36 KWH less)

3. Bill issued on 13-SEP-2019: Calculation mistakes.

-- Actual (New meter reading - Old meter reading) =[protected] = 415 KWH
-- On bill = 509 KWH
[protected] = 94 KWH
-- (+94 KWH extra)

4. Bill issued on 29-OCT-2018: Calculation mistakes.

-- Actual[protected] = 113 KWH
-- On Bill = 268 KWH
[protected] = 155 KWH
-- (+155 KWH extra)

Overall = 155+94-36=213 KWH
Conclution: We have paid 213 KWH extra

All the 4 bill are attached with correction marked. Please verify it.

I have raised a request regarding meter not working properly and changing for the same. I have already submitted the request amount for meter changes, but it's 5th day and no action taken from them.
On asking for complain resolution they are we have not meter in our stock and giving waiting time for 1 month.

Although they are asking for separate money to resolved within an hour.
I don't get understand why they are not responsible for their work.
When we will free from these types of corruption..

When i contact with higher authorities he is not listern the concern. Why pspcl person is not coming for meter reading and why every time customer suffer due to govt person not did his duty as per govt policy.Plz do the needful.

Subject : amount of advance payment credited in other account

Respected sir,

I, narinder singh bhatia made an online payment of advance of rs. 10, 000/- against pspcl a/c no. [protected] of widow manjit kaur at mandi gobind garh through my debit card no. [protected] which was rejected by showing insufficient balance but there was a sufficient balance in my bank account. After few seconds i received a massage saying that an amount of rs 10094/- has been deducted from my accounts no. [protected] in punjab & sind bank, mandi gobindgarh.

After a long struggle i received a letter from bank showing that same amount is credited in pspcl consumer a/c no, [protected] of baljit kaur in place of [protected] of manjit kaur (Copy attached).

Kindly verify my attached scan copies and please help me to get my amount to be credited in correct account.

First of all i would like to bring to the notice of all consumers that price is being hiked by pspcl every year and the hike is charged from previous year, what is this logic, if the price is hiked today it should be charged from today onwards why from previous year. Secondly i feel that the subsidy given by govt. Like free electricity etc. Is being charged from us as the tariff in punjab is very high as compared to neighbouring states. If a govt. Gives subsidy just for vote bank it should be given from their own pocket. Why a layman always suffer.
Hope the team will raise this issue so that a layman could also get a sigh of relief.

I have received a bill amounting - 5860/- which is very high as compare to my previous bill amount.
We have a very low consumption as per our daily needs. I have also submitted a letter in electricity dept kharar on 10th oct. They have suggested to share the video of meter.
After submitting of meter video they have updated 8200/- bill.

This is to inform that i have been living as a tenant in an apartment since 3 months. I have got the previous bills of around 500 rs. However, with the same usage, the bill has amounted to rs 5320 for this month. I want to know if it is mistake of person who took the reading or there is some other issue. Again in oct's bill, that 5192 is added and this months bill came 7453!!! Please help me to sort this problem. I am a private employee and cant go to department every alternate day. This is a humble request to you that in our area that is mohala nanaksar, st. No5
Tedi road new shimpuri ludhiana theft of electricity directly from metre box is happening from 2 months. A group of 4-5 people always stand near to metre boxes everynight and even demage many metres and broke the official seals in order to do this offence. We have all prooves with us like pictures of these incidents. I am also attaching some pics of damage metre boxes and seals to this mail. Kindly please help us to stop this criminal offence so that everyone take a breath of relife from these kinds of people.

We went to pspcl office, kotkapura for paying our electricity bill on 09/10/2018 at around 01:30 p. M. We always pay the bill amount through cheque, as this is one of the secure means of money transfer. Yesterday when we went there, the person sitting at suvidha centre (Where cheques are deposited in kiosk) refused to accept the cheque and asked us to deposit at physical window.

We went to physical window and the person sitting over there also refused to accept the cheque and told us that we accept only multicity cheques. We asked him to provide us with a written circular or an official notification, where it is written that only multicity cheques are accepted. But he refused to provide any of these. We said him that if he can’t provide us with any circular or notification, then he has to accept the cheque and provide us with payment receipt. To this, he reacted in anger and used foul words (Just like an illiterate person uses in anger). Also, he forced us to write on a paper that if the cheque is not cleared then we will pay interest and penalty.

This was a complete harassment and dictatorship by an illiterate and inefficient government employee. If he can’t provide us with any written circular/notification then how he can force us to provide anything in writing.

Moreover, it is a routine practice in this office, by the employees sitting there, to unnecessary harass the customers and never giving a proper reply for any query. They just enjoy the government salary and perks for doing nothing.

It’s our humble request to you, kindly get into the matter and take strict action against such kind of employees, specifically the one mentioned above. Due to these employees only, government departments are lagging behind and the image is deteriorating day-by-day.

We had narrated this matter to je, sdo and xen on phone. But had not received any reply till now.

I have paid my 2500rs bill on 12 sept 2018.which is been again added up in the bill received in oct 2018.kindly do needfull.

Dear pspcl team,

This is regarding account z74gt743948x.
We are currently out of country and there is no change in meter reading but still the bill shows 532 units being consumed and rs 4610/- as bill amount for aug'18.
Similarly for sep'18 there is again no usage and still we are charged rs[protected] being mentioned as previous arrears).

There seems to be serious negligence here. Can you please check and ensure correct bill is shared from oct'18 and additional amount paid is either refunded or adjusted for future bills.

This also appears to be a corruption issue where the electric meter is not even being checked and fake readings are being recorded and people like us are being harassed with wrong payments... I will file a vigilance complaint if you will not address this issue in next one week. I need this payment reversed to my account.

I'm gurwinder singh from v. P. O. Nurpur chahta tehsil nakodar, dist jalandhar want to inform you a pspcl pole installed just outside of my house. The pole's condition is very bad & poor. Also it is not in actual positioned.
Kindly visit to site & take necessary action immediately to stop any mishappening due to this poor pole as early as possible.
