Hello there,
I purchased auto fill pureit 23litres on 28 Mar 2016. since then i have replace my battery gkk once on june 2016. Now again I m facing the same problem two months after. the battery kit showing red. I have called the customer care many times but the complaint has not been rectified. instead i receive a confirmation text message showing that the complaint has been resolved.

Here are the usage pattern of my house
per week = 50 Litres Max (calculated on the basis of buying bottled water earlier - tubble top)
per month = 200 to 230 litres max

therefore in three months i have used only 690 to 700 litres max.
how come i was forced to change the battery kit in june and now also in august.

    I have bought pure it marvello ro in 2013, since then i have replaced germ kit twice and membrane once..

    Presently i do not see any alerts in filter to see any indication. But the quality of water is very bad. I have raised four compliant a in last 4 months... Every time one technician comes and says problem is resolved but it is still unresolved.

    On 8th sept, one technician told that membrane need to be changed cost is 2000. I replaced membrane in last 12 months. I really doubt the product which is fitted in filter.

    From 8th sept to 14th sept - have sent three compliants to [protected]@hul.com. But no technician attended the compliant so far.

    4 days before I changed battery set of my 14ltr pureit having sl no RPWCJ00803956 which is under free double warranty; after change water taste was purely poor not able to drink. Requested please do the urgent and needful action.

        I request Hindustan Unilever to have Comfort Fabric Conditioner to be sealed packed to avoid tampering of the product.
        Most of the time i see that the liquid inside is thinner compared to what initially I use to buy.
        I am a regular customer of this product and I strongly request you to seal-pack the bottle, as the packing is open, it is mostly been tampered.

          Hi I use a Puriet Marvella UV filter from past 1 yr & every 6 months I need t change the Germ kill kit. I was instructed that each Germ Kill kit would work to filter around 3000 lts before replacement. but here it is running out for 1300 lts only as we are a very small family & use it only for drinking.

          can you pls re-validate & check if mine is a defective piece or your information of 3000 ltrs as marketed is wrong.

            I had replaced kit set on dated[protected] for the Purit water filter at a cost of Rs 450.00 .After replacement of the kit, un tolerable bad smell is found and the filtered water could not consume which creates vomiting tendency . I had lodged complain vide no-C 21359822 and one mr Bimal (technician) attended the complain on[protected] and he replaced only the bottom kit of the filter saying that it has manufacturing defect . Yet after replacement of the bottom kit bad smell has not vanished and water can not be consumed . I am purchasing daily 6(six) ltrs of mineral water from market for which I am facing heavey financial loss .
            The Hindustan Unileaver is a reputed company of India, which should try to meet up public complain to protect its fame among the customers . Hope to get quick action from the authority to meet up with the complain .

              This is shear stealing. My usage is vert very less, probably I use 4 glasses in a day, due to my work and travel. Even after that the nonsense machine blinks up the lights to change filters in every 6 months. Even if there is no usage or less usage it forces customer to spend money and change filters frequently.

              These guys are taking advantage of the fact that once a customer buys it, he'll be forced to maintain it.

              My advise, don't buy it and save yourself

                Higly disappointed by the services of hul. Never expected i raised my complaint for germ kit replacement on saturday and till date my kit has not been replaced and facing si many issues. Not even been contacted by any one from customer care and initially it was told to me that it will be done with 72 hours if not dine will be getting kit free. Also the number which i spoke on earlier is coming switched off as cannot call on toll free number becz isd facility is not activated on my number. Can i get a resolution now or should i keep posting reviews on google plus pages as well along with star rating so that ur page gets badly impacted and completely been takrn down from google end trust me m working with google and no all pros and cons of it so dont fool ne around. Need quick resolution now.

                  I ordered germ kill kit of filter pure it classic 23 litres amounting rs. 525/-+ rs. 50/- on 26.08.2016, friday 12.24 pm. Message received in my mobile on the very same day and time that the kit will be installed within the three days otherwise free kit will be provided, but yet not installed. I request you to kindly do the same as soon as possible

                    Dear sir,
                    I have registered complaint for attending pureit service on 25.08.2016 and i got the following message
                    "thanks for registering ur complaint c[protected] with pureit. Our service technician will visit u within 1 working day. Pl call [protected] for any query"
                    Till date no one has attended the problem. I received a call from lalwani sales person from mobile no [protected] on 26.08.2016 at 18:10 hrs and person said he shall visit within half an hour, but as usual no one even bothered to call nor come for service.
                    Today again i called up customer care and they said your complaint is in progress and shall be attended. I called up lalwani sales also and he said that your complaint shall be attended by technician and his number is [protected] and today by 8 pm.

                    Each and every time we get very very poor service by hindustan unilever ltd and their counterpart lalwani sales. If the problem persists i shall be forced to lodge a complaint in consumer court against hul at entire risk, costs involved to hul.

                      I purchased pureit ultima ro + uv with oxytube from amazon.in recently. Your technician (Mr. Krishnamurthy) promptly installed the product on the 1st of this month. Immediately after the installation, in the presence of the technician the switch turned on automatically and water started getting waster. The technician asked us to book a complaint if the problem persisted. Since the switch started turning on all by itself on regular intervels, i booked a complaint within couple of days after the installation. The technician (Mr himesh) visited our house promptly but during his visit the switch was working fine. Again the issue persisted so called up customer care again demanding that the switch needs immediate replacement. The technician (Mr himesh) informed me that the switch in not in stock and i need to wait

                      Sir, it is 20th of august today and they haven't been able to resolve the issue in 20 days. Everyday so much water is getting wasted and for no fault of mine, i need to buy a germ kill kit early. Not just the water getting wasted but even cleaning up afterwords is also a pain. I called up customer service twice and demanded to speak with the floor supervisor but both times the supervisor was not available. Such is your customer service. I was informed that sp enterprises, bangalore handles the service issues in our area so i called them and spoke to them directly demanding the whole unit be replaced or be provided with a free germ kill kit for all the water being wasted for the 20 days delay from your end, but they bluntly refused.

                      Sir, i did not pay rs. 20, 000/- + for a defective product or a pathetic and uncourteous customer service. Hul has a reputation and i hope you live upto it.

                      I request you to kindly make sure that the unit is either replaced or i am provided with a free germ kill kit at the earliest.

                        I purchased pureit classic 23l on 9th august, 2016.
                        But in my 1st use the taste is ridiculoue, no change in odour and qulaity is very bad. This is a fraud purifier playing with the emotions of customer. I want my refund. Pure it has to refund my amount.

                        I raised complained more than 3 times but there is no proper response. Please refund my amount asap

                          We wish to surrender the Ultima pureit as the frequency of product replacement is too high and the part's cost have to be borne by us and are not covered even if the purifier was purchased less than a year back and is within warranty. We are not happy with the product and feel that we are being duped by asking to pay additional costs for part replacement (its not even completely been a year since we bought it)

                            I have bought a pureit marvella ro+uv in may 2016 from natraj entirprise bhangel noida 201301, this is just 3 months buying this product, i started facing bad taste of water. Today technician visited and he diagnosed that the main membrain of ro is faulty.

                            I have n - number of problems against natraj enterprize, i want go to consumer court against then else they should compensate the ro membrane free.

                            This is not just first complaint about them, you just take a look to the history how many problems they have created within 3 months, i believe the have some sort of way misguiding customer.

                              Hi All

                              The RFS / 15873646 and the germ kit was booked on 3/08/2016. I spoke to Sushil at customer service first and he claimed he is unable to help me in any ways, the attitude of the agent is unacceptable and unprofessional.

                              The call was escalated and I was assured that by customer service supervisor name Abhishek that the tech will come the next day by 12 noon but never came, later I was promised the tech will come by evening 7 pm but again never came. I did not receive any call as well.

                              The overall experience is pathetic and day by day the service is deteriorating. I am using pure it for more than 8 years but this is the worst experience . This is just a feedback that one day, pure it will experience the same fate as Nokia and Blackberry had to face ie will be out of the market soon if nothing is done.

                              Now I will soon shift to Aqua guard for a better service.

                                Ordered a 3000 litre gkk fitted by pureit on 30 apr 16.
                                It gave only 800 litres output and stopped functioning on 25 jul 16. Lodged a complain with pureit on 28 jul 16, complain no. C[protected]. The gkk with manufacturing defect not yet repaired/ replaced by pureit.
                                The local dealer/ service provider of pureit called and demanded rs 100 for visiting and inspection. He said it is no use visiting and blamed my water quality for premature expiry/ malfunction of gkk.
                                He refused to repair/ replace the gkk and is putting pressure on me to buy a new gkk.

                                On 02 Aug and 03 Aug 16 I emailed [email protected]. They replied back saying they will take action within one working day. On 03 Aug 16 I received a call from Pureit product support Bangalore, mobile number +918067570200. The caller asked details about my problem and said they will call the area manager Mumbai and have the matter resolved. On 4th Aug 16 HUL Pureit finally send a technician and replaced the faulty Germ Kill Kit with a new one. Though with a little delay and a some hesitation HUL Pureit finally took corrective action to replace the faulty product supplied by it thereby taking steps in the right direction towards protection of consumer rights. I thank HUL PUREIT for the support extended to a customer towards protection of his basic rights as a consumer. I also thank this forum for the support extended throughout my ordeal.                                 On 3rd evening at about 1600hrs, I got a call from Pureit product support Bangalore, they told me they will call the area manager Mumbai and have the matter resolved. Later got a call from Pureit Mumbai office, they assured me they will send a technician today and resolve the problem. I am still sceptical. Let's see what happens.

                                On Friday, 04 Aug 16 HUL Pureit's technician visited my home and replaced the faulty Germ Kill Kit. Though with a little delay they did resolve the problem. I thank HUL Pureit for the role they have played in protection of consumer rights thereby setting the right example.

                                Consumer Protection Act, 1986 (COPRA) which was already dealing with unfair trade practices. Section 2(1)(r) of COPRA defines unfair trade practice as: "a trade practice which, for the purpose of promoting the sale, use or supply of any goods or for the provision of any service, adopts any unfair method or unfair or deceptive practice, including any of the following practices, namely:—

                                making any statement, whether orally or in writing or by visible representation which:

                                falsely represents that the goods are of a particular standard, quality, quantity, grade, composition, style or model;
                                falsely represents that the services are of a particular standard, quality or grade;

                                HUL Pureit advertises and claims that it's GKK's gives the amount of water they are rated for.
                                After the product gave only an output of a quarter of its rated value, when the consumer approached HUL Pureit, Pureit/ it's reps refused to repair/ replace the defective product and tried to justify the low output by saying that
                                1. A GKK only gives half the rated output normally
                                2. If the output is less than half the water quality is bad

                                HUL Pureit therefore may be held guilty o[censored]nfair trade practices for false representation/ claims of performance of the said product for misleading the customer
                                False claims by Pureit that my complaint has been attended to and resolved. I am attaching screenshot of the sms sent by Pureit to my registered mobile number

                                  I have raised complaint for leakage issue for uv marvell, after that three technician came.
                                  First (vikrant) told need to change valve which i changed, after that 10 days i changed germ kit.
                                  Then again leakage issue start 2nd technician (sanjay) came told now need to change ball so then i refused to changed contact to the customer care, after that new technician came (nilesh). he told problem with electronic circuit after check device then after 15 min told circuit is ok need to change switch overflow indication. these guys are cheating which are from hiteck service centre from pune.
                                  So check this issue otherwise i need to take legal action. you are reputed organization. you should solve customer issue asap. check my call details with customer care.

                                    I had purchase pure it on 02/06/2016 and installed on 03/06/2016. After installed water is not coming and complaint against complaint no c[protected] on 03/06/2016. Your technical person visited and replace the round carbon from the new product and replace with another one which is not as the same size which he replaced. Now again the same problem arises.
                                    I need a proper explanation that why your executive replace the part with some other size and why the new product getting such bad experience.
                                    Request you to please replace the product with new one or else i have escalate to mr srikant b.

                                    If the problem is not rectified as earliest i have to lodge a complaint in consumer forum.
                                    And

                                    As i am complaining from last 1 month regarding the below issue which is still not rectified.
                                    All the time your technical changing the black carbon part & after two or three days same problem arises.

Same time i had ask him to replace the new part as i am suffering from last month and i ask him to speak with our senior officer for new one.
                                    Today your worst technical person mr. Vicky (Mobile no – [protected]) calling me on sunday and giving me threatening calls that he can’t able to put new part and said (Kya karna hai karlo or kisko call karna karle). Now i need explanation from the hul why am i purchase this from u.

                                    Need your reply on the same on priority or else i have to lodge fir complain against the hul person.

                                      I booked gkk1 kit for 1700 on 16/07/16. with promise service it must be installed in 72 hrs or after that it is free with reference rfs/15301014
                                      I wait till 20/7/16 and callback to customer care due to kit is not installed that time they told me that ur kit is installed in 24 hrs free of kit cost with complaint no c[protected]
                                      After that technician give call me for instalation with payment of 1850 he clarifies me that due to unavailability of kit we cant installed in promised time i refuses to give him kit prize as customer executive told me
                                      Till date after 7 days kit is not installed
                                      So kindly clarify me that i[censored] not eligible to fulfill ur promise why make such policies
                                      And ur jr executives and sr executive hritika is not able to give proper information they just told me we r forward ur complaint
                                      So kindly atleast u think on complaint and install kit aspromise policy

                                      hi this is dr yogesh patil on next day of cosumer complaint person call me from banglore office of pureit no is [protected] and give me confidence that ur gkk1 kit is installed withoutcost upto evening of 23 july 16
                                      he called me at 1.15 pm
                                      till this time no kit or atleast photo of kit installed
                                      so conclusion is that
                                      1 company clearly must be mention that we cant give proper service in time at time purchase of product
                                      2 sinior authorities have no any control on service center
                                      they told me dont give payment and technician told we have no need to follow company policies u must pay after promise period
                                      3 last one i have doubt this complaint help me or not

                                        Sir, madam,
                                        I have lodged request on 1 july 2016 about my 14 lit pureit about broken glass part to be replaced with new one on chargeable basis.
                                        But till tiday 20 july 2016 there is no technician visited my place.In between i had called 3 times & every time you customer care fellow said sorry, tomorrow you will get the part & service definitely.
                                        But till today unfortunately we are drinking boiled waterwater as our pureit is not working.
                                        I am very much unsatisfied about your service.
