Plz note i had purchased marvella uv water purifier in year 2015. After completing 1 year problem starts.

Problem: suddenly sf and gkk2 filter lights became red. Service guy came and touched something on back side circuit and fixed the issue immediately. But he told that better to take extended warranty (Which costs 2100/-) because if all lights became red, then you have to swap all the circuits along with pump which costs around 5000/-.

My question:
How did he know that it would become red soon? Is this common issue? Why company is not showing the interest to fix this known issue?

Reason for asking above question is, all lights became red next day itself. Is this something wrong in its circuit? Is this programmed intentionally to get such kind of error? Even though filter is able to work efficiently, why does circuit shows 'red' lights?

    Pls note before few days i hv purchased 10 pack of shampoo jasmine black which is @ 1 rs each. Where the quantity is in packet 5.5 ml.. But i surprisely chk that in one packet is to lower weight. After weight the all packet i check that this packet is under short quantity. But no have any likege or any othars packaging dispute. I already contact ur customer care no fr infrm that but they strongly denied that its impossible and suggest me tto weight the packet to various weight machine. Aftr that i want to know ypou that how can you provide us the short quantity product like that. Stil now this packet is with me with out any tempered. Waiting for your clarification, thanks

      Dear sir,

      I had tried to get the germkill kit from local stores available at patna. But, they are unable to provide. So, i tried to get the same online through company website https://www.pureitwater.com/in/order-gkk. But, there is no response from the site after confirmation of the order. I tried 3-4 times but all in vain.
      I also tried to register myself on the site but the registration page is not working. After entering all the data when i try to submit, it displays the error to try again later. So, please help me to get the 1250l germkill kit. My gkk is already exhausted and i am not getting the water in bottom container.

      Help me.

        This is to inform you that I am using Pureit marvella RO for the last three years.
        I have also many other appliances like fridge AC washing machine geyser etc.
        All these product do not burden me with atrocious service charges,

        I am a senior citizen and would like to keep my expenses with in my budget.

        I am giving you below the list of repairs I have done for the product in a span of 8 months and the cost of the service used.
        1. Nov 9 2015 ...Rs 1650
        2. Jan 13 2016 Rs 3450
        3. June 1 2016 Rs. 340

        Tomorrow there is another replacement which will cost Rs.3500.

        In a matter of 8 months I am spending Rs 9000 just for replacing spare.
        this is a recurring activity every year which is almost equal to buying a new water filter. This is pure injustice.

        Kindly take up this matter and relieve gullible consumer like me.

          My mom had ordered a Kissan ketchup bottle in the month of March.When I opened it on 28th March, to my surprise, the bottle cap was broken(cap was corrected using a sellotape) and ignoring that when I opened the bottle cap, I could see the black coloured liquid surrounding the bottle.
          After a month of complaining, in April, a representative, without any prior intimation, came and collected the wrong product from my granny. I have been calling and mailing since then that please collect the defective product but there is just no response.They do not even bother to write back.

            Hi,

            I bought a Germ kill kit 3000 liter in Nov 2015 from the shop at my place and I started wondering from last month why the germ kill kit indicator is not going red as it has been over 6 months now.
            So I started keeping eye on it and finally called pure it customer service to complain this.
            Technician declared that the germ kill kit is faulty.
            now I raised 2 concerns with them which is mentioned below :-

            - I have paid for the faulty germ kill kit and i was hoping to get compensated for that
            - My family and I have been drinking unfiltered water for 6 months now because of the faulty germ kill kit so seeking for the answers what if we come across any health issues because of the unfiltered water.

            I have talked to customer service but they really don't have any idea and leaving all on the technician and technician called me and declared that the germ kill battery is faulty.

            I have been using the 'HUL pure it' water purifier for 7 years now, and there is no grantee that it will not fail again if i buy another battery.

            I will go for different brand water purifier brand but before that i want to give it a try if issue can be resolved.

            Please your help is really appreciated.

            My issue was finally resolved after i put my complaint here at consumer complaints. I asked technician to provide me with the new germ kill battery. Firstly he denied but later i asked for at least 1500 liter germ kill battery as a compensation ((Mine was 3000 liter though)) and technician gave the the new germ kill battery of 1500 liter a day after and he charged rs 100 as a technician visit charge.
            PureIT / Hindustan Unilever customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
            My issue was finally resolved after i put my complaint here at consumer complaints.

            I asked technician to provide me with the new germ kill battery and technician gave the the new germ kill battery of 1500 liter (Mine was 3000 liter though)
            I just gave it a try but never thought that actually it is going to work,
            Thank you Consumer complaint for giving us a such a nice platform to raise our concerns and get the effective solution. !!
            And this 5 star rating is only for Consumer complaint forum ... Cheers !!

              I have purchased a germ kill kit 2 months back (3000 ltrs) but that kit is not good as it is not working used only below 1000 ltrs and when I log the complaint no one is attending that. I have logged the complaint two times in a week and one time the complaint has been closed without attending it and the second complaint has not been attended yet and I am facing a lot of problem due to this.

              Very bad and worst experience with pure it, request you to take the strict action against the dealer of the Rajahmundry and to solve my problem ASAP.

                I have orderd a germkill kit for my 14 ltr advance pureit on 21/05/16 & rfs is 13521872. I got this msg ("your licensed service provider is: tops enterprises lsp phone :[protected], mumbai 421202. Pl note pureit helpline no. Is changed to[protected]".) after that i called on given mobile no. But the service from tops enterprises is very poor their executive are making only false commitments. Still i haven't got the germkill kit. What to do?? Pls help me.

                  I have a pureit marvella ro at my home. A few days ago i got my gkk1 changed as it was blinking red.
                  2, 3 days ago the water from the purifier started stinking. It was a foul smell. I avoided it thinking of null possibilities of contamination due to my trust on pureit.
                  Today in the morning the water flow decreased from the tap, but the machine showed tank full indication. I registered complaint and technician came and found almost 5 inches long worm like creature (Centipede or something) stuck in the tap.
                  1. I want to ask hul pureit (Who claim to clean i crore virus in a litre) howcome such a big thing enter your delicate and advance cleaning system and reach till the outlet tap?
                  2. I have a new born at home, how can we ensure safety after such an incident?
                  3. Is some cleaning actually happening inside or there are just some small and big boxes placed to befool the consumer?

                  I and my family are really afraid after this. The creature almost resembled a small snake. Just imagine, we have been drinking that water for last few days.

                  What can hul do for my assurance now?

                    We are the consumer of pureit water purifier since 4 years. Ideally we preferred 1500 litre germ kill kit, always.In earlier stages it used to take 2 months or more at an average consumption of 20 litre. But now it close to 40 days or less, kit turns completely red. And result water leakage

                    This is all about poor very poor production of germ kill kit.

                    In the gap of every 5-6weeks, we have to replace kit to avoid leakage.In course of reduction in service of 1500 litre kit, it seems company is cheating with customers. Yes, now in close to 40 days, kit were useless. That means 20 litre x 40 days = 800 litre. Therefore company is making us a fool, and producing kit of limited capacity on marketing of 1500 litre

                    Hence, we shout upon the complete dissatisfaction against service, product, brand and values.

                    Please check these complain and do initiate proper resolution permanently..

                      I bought water purifier of Pureit Classic RO+MF, since 28 days back and from since 28 days am unable to drink water as machine selled is not working even after calling service engineer he is just making fool, but he is not coming. Once he visited but the purifier just worked for 5 hrs again it stopped working. Please help me since monsoon is coming and please tell is it possible to replace the purifier as it has too much problems.

                        I recently got a pack of 100 lipton tea bags and several tea bags were empty. A brand like hul is expected to have a quality check. Not just one or two bags I have at least ten such bags. Worst part is when I called the company, they were pretty casual about it and said they will replace the box and investigate the matter. the empty tea bags were tangible proof of the quality failure which is unacceptable and defrauding.I have packed tea bags to prove my claim.

                          All of a sudden, there was leakage detected from the upper body next to the life indicator shell of Classic Model. So immediately the service complaint was launched. And it has been done repeatedly for last 5 days. Still nobody has reported from the service department.
                          It is been really dissapointing on the service part. Inspite of continious request considering the summer season nobody is responding.
                          I have been spending almost Rs. 500 daily on purchasing drinking water form the store. And off course it has made me think for the second option of changing into other product were atleast this kind of issues will not come.

                            This had reference to my complaint dt 15th april regarding newly installed purifier not working. So far the complaint is not attended properly. One technician came twice and did something and pump worked for few hours only. The response from cc of hindustan unilever is worst among all. None of cc executive attend the call even after 20 minutes waiting in line and spending lot of money. Now again the agency who installed the unit says spare not available. The technician and the pureit person are trying to cheat us by not responding even after 3 weeks. We are senior citizens and facing lots of problems. And spending money for drinking water.                               I bought PUREIT CLASSIC RO+MF on 16/04/2016 and service engineer came on 18/04/2016 installed it and went away. Filter worked only for two days and after that it stopped working as water is not getting auto filled. Launched complaint as well as rang a call to local service engineer of PUREIT to come and see but since one week past away but still no one has came.
                              The worst service ever i faced in my life from PUREIT, Please do something on complaint number C[protected], Second thing without knowing to me complaint has been closed.

                                Hi please anybody don’t buy pure-it water purifier, i would like to share my experience with pureit, i have purchased pureit marvella with jug model one and half years back. I faced with water leakage problem after 3 months. Then i raised a complaint with customer care, more than 8 months i spoke to 5 or 6 manger also. They are telling today or tomorrow sure problem will solve. But i don’t know which today or tomorrow. Whenever i spoke to customer care, i am getting two messages. I have lot of messages but few massage only i have mentioned below. One more thing: no toll free number. Think about, how munch amount spend?. Already spend a lot of money to customer care. But problem is still pending. So i am going to throw out pureit and buy good company water purifier.

                                  Least bothered about customer service. Ordered new device on Saturday (16 Apr'16) but got to know on Monday(18 Apr'16) when called call center that order was not booked. So booked it again and was informed that will get delivered on Tuesday (19 Apr'16) but till not deliverd and call center is not at all aware. It seems they dont require any additional bussiness.
                                  Really worst service till date.

                                    I have purchased RO+MF model purifier on 10_3_2016.It was not working since 14 th April. I lodged complaint on 15th, I was told the complaint will be attended within one working day. On 16 th April one technician came and some adopter problem and it will be replaced on 18th.every time calling cost huge money and unbearable waiting.                                     I have one pureit ultima water purifier and registered mobile no is [protected].

                                    15 days back i registered one service complaint because it was giving me indication to change gkk1.

                                    One guy(vijay kumar) came and he cleaned the gkk and said no need to change for now.this guy was really dumb and i want him to be terminated immediately.

                                    After 7 days of that i was feeling some problem with the water

                                    I again registered one complaint to check it.

                                    An another guy (normally this guy comes for service to my place) and checked the water tank and found thousands of red ants inside the tank and it was stinking like anything.

                                    He cleaned everything.

                                    I want to ask a simple question this kind of products you are making?

                                    You are selling health product and can you explain me how ants entered the water tank??

                                    I am going to consumer court with all my details and you have to pay hefty penalty for this.

                                    You have just played with my life and god saved me and going to file FIR for attempt to murder against Unilever.
