Water leakage

I am brough PURE IT Marvela 2 years back and suffering from bad customer service. One of the top right side cylinder has broken from last few months for my pure IT Marvela. I bought Pureit last year with great expectations from HUL. I had been a user of Eureka UV for more than a decade. Besides the lower UV wattage, recurring cost was an issue with Eureka and as HUL quoted 3000l o[censored]se before replacement for a CFL, I believed the recurring cost would be less. However, water started leaking just at the end of 3month o[censored]se. We called in service center and the representative asked us to change the CFL. We are a family of 2, both working, and have our drinking needs satiated from outside during the day time. As per 3000l quoted number, it comes out to be 33ltr o[censored]sage / day for us, which would not be a case even if we wash clothes in filtered water. When we told him that its just 3 months from the date of purchase, he told us that it is a problem with a pressure as you are on the 9th floor in the 18th floor building. He asked us to put a pressure valve for more than a 1000bucks and we obliged. The problem however didn't end there. Every 3month we continued to receive a change in CSF light or leaking water. In today, I received the "change CSF" indicator for 4th time bringing my overall cost of maintenance to Rs4000/year. Had company not claimed of wrong numbers, I would have happily bought Eureka and paid ~Rs1500 for per year maintenance.

I still cant imagine company like HUL cheating people like this but I cant get 4th time unlucky with the same product. In addition, if its a faulty product, I would like HUL to make the corrections to the same and train its service personal who sell unnecessary accessories for unwanted reasons. I would appreciate if this complaint helps sort the issue.

    Hello sir, I am suresh s wani has purchased hindustan lever marvella pureit in 20 aug 2013 at Rs.7000 But after 10 days of purchase of this purifier it was leaking through the bottom. After the consistant followup to retailer and to company they changed it in jan 2014. Now again it is showing same problem. They are asking to pay charge. We want to buy other purifier but company is telling that we are not giving refund to it. We can resolve it but never refund it. They are charging Rs.1000. We got frustrated with this purifier and not at all Satisied with this. We need help. Thank you very much Suresh sakharam wani

      Our ADSL line[protected] is not working since last week. We have visited Lote Telephone exchange office 2 times and lodged the compliant. There was nobody at the time other than security person. Till nobody has came for checking and our line is still down. Please activate the line on urgent basis.

        I have purchased Pureit filter for 3050 and while selling the executive was confident that it is durable and hard plastic, however while cleaning after 2 months of installation, it was accidently fallen on the kitchen slab and got cracked from hardly 2 feet.
        This is really disgusting and disappointing on the quality and false statements from PureIt team while selling. And when I complaint to replace they say you need to buy a chamber for 600/-
        Totally waste and useless.

              My name is D Jagannathan, mobile number is [protected] from Chennai I bought a Hindustan Pureit 23 L Advanced Purifier in the month of Sep'13. It worked very fine & I would be cleaning the purifier once in 15 days since my usage is very less (If the transparent chamber is full, the water will be emptied in 2 days) In the month of Feb'14, I ordered for a Germ Kill Kit in HP Pureit Customer Care and they sent a person from Dynamic Agency, Anna Nagar, Ch-40 and the Person replaced the Germ Kill kit and got Rs.540 from us. After 10 days, the purification got stopped and I tried cleaning the purifier and it has not worked out. I called the Customer Care and they sent a person from same company and he did some cleaning & went off. Again after a week, the same problem happened and the same person came & did something & went off. Again after a week, the same problem happened. I called the Customer care and asked why this problem is continously happening. The service people came & replaced the carbon purifier (just bought before 30 days) and went off. (happened in Mar'14) Now again, the purifier need cleaning every 5 days & it takes 7-8 hours to have water collected in transparent chamber. Yesterday, I gave a complaint yesterday(24th April) and the Service people came today(25th April) and said the Puriifer needs to be cleaned every 7 days. If my usage is very less & if purifier need cleaning every 3 refillings, I am not satisfied with the product and the Customer care people said it is enough for cleaning every 15 days. Need an immediate action & replacement of the Purifier else the Court will give Justice to me & Penalty for the Company

              Dear Sir,

              The Customer care people came to my residence by 1st week of May & replaced with new germ kill kit & gave me an extra carbon polisher.
              The purifier has worked properly till mid of June month & then even after cleaning, the purification is not proper. So I replaced the carbon polisher with the extra one provided by the customer care people.
              Now, from 28th of Jun'14, the purification process takes place in more than 8 hours. If I fill the upper chamber with water in morning, it gets purified and get collected in the transparent chamber in the evening/night.

              I have done a great mistake on buying this product (wrong promises/faulty service) which required replacement of all things (polisher, germ kill kit) every month. My usage is approx 1/2 of the transparent chamber per day (if the bottom chamber is full, it will be consumed in 2 days). If the purifier is so bad & imperfect, let the Hindustan Unilever be questioned & asked Legal Penalty for selling such products.

              Need an immediate action, else, provide me the Legal dept of HUL to send Legal Compensation Notice for such bad product, worst service & huge mind tension.

                >>I have 2 and half yr old baby at home he is getting affected of water change i have explained everything to them but still no proper response from abdul and rahmath .

When my mom ask the gye, he told that he is a company employee & he have not much time to service that machine.But when i docated for service & replace spare, your executive said that, at the time of replacing spare, the total cost including.                     I had purchased a PureIT Germ Kill Purifier from a Dealer.
                    The Moment I brought it, it cannot fill completely and is leaking very bad.
                    Called Up Customer Service at[protected] and logged a complaint to fix the same Complaint No: "C[protected]".
                    3 Days later the Engineer comes, sees the item and could not fix it and returns saying he will come with senior the next day.
                    No responses for next 2 Days.
                    All calls to Customer Service Agents and the Sales Agent in Pune in vain, they rudely asks to return the item to the Dealer from where i bought it. Shame on Hindustan Unilever for providing such a service to customer.
                    Today the Sales Agent from Pune says they cannot replace the item, he will send a senior technician to look into the matter and fix it today. But nothing yet again :(.
                    I cannot begin to explain what ordeal i am going through, this can happen only in India where the value of customer is nothing more than a . We pay Taxes in all the forms everywhere, starting from our salary till the packet of milk we purchase, we pay Service Taxes, and this is what our Govt pays off after getting so much money from one person. No Service At ALL.

                    The Customer is to the face asked to go to hell and replace the item from where bought, despite the fact that it is the manufacturer who provides the Warranty not the dealer.

                    Shame on Hindustan Unilever, If i dont mean anything to them as a customer, the company should die of the Satyam Death.

                    Provided Faulty Item, and are now saying we will fix it for you, no replacement.

                      I had purchased 12 Litres capacity Pureit Intella last year. Now I want to change the germkill kit for the same, but every retailer is saying that kit for this model has been dropped off, and is not available with them, because company has stopped selling this product. Now I have checked their site for purchasing the kit online, but there also, they are not providing the same. please register my complaint, as if every year they are going to drop off their last year model, then please don't market their product, as we'll have to purchase the new model every year, and that will be very costly for consumer.                         I had requested for Battery replacement for my PureIT Marvella. HUL service executive changed the battery but gave another bill saying that the joints have leakages. I have immediately asked to replace it. When we start the machine it started leaking like tap water. We again called the service executive. In my absence he told my wife that ' I told sir that all 5 joints are leaking (which was never happened). I may not be water purifier expert but as a layman I can assure its a case of Incompetency of servicing agent. When asked explanation, some regional manager told me that it happens as a part of wear and tear. As per my understanding leakage have speed and it does not starts like a tap water. Now they are covering their side giving some stupid Technical reasons. People should know what to expect when you book replacement of battery. "Sir battery toh change kiya hai but aapka yeh kharab hai isko change karva lo nahi toh..."take care...Parashar

                              pure it water purifier WORST WATER PURIFIER

                              PUREIT Water Purifier . WORST ever product I have ever seen.

I have raised complaints 5 times and they hardly bother to take any corrective measure .

                                I purchased one knorr soupy noodles of Hindustan Unilever Limited from Senco Grocery(Prop-Subhas Sen), Debaipukur Rd, Hindmotor-712233, Hooghly (WB) one knorr soupy noodles (70g, Rs.12/-, B.No.-A240313A, mfd-03/2013, Exp-03/2014, Barcode[protected] and was prepared on 21.12.2013.But at the time eating we had to drain out the same. It was fully rotten / decomposed. Immediately on that date I tried to contact with them over their toll free[protected] from my[protected].The IVR voice was "your call is valuable to us. All our c/care officials are busy.will attend you shortly and so on."After about 30 minutes the line was disconnected.Few days after again I tried. One male attended. During lodging my complaint it was again disconnected.I want satisfactory & acceptable reply from them immediately, latest by seven days from the complaint date i.e. 11.01.2014, alongwith sufficient enough compensation from them according to my satisfaction as if it was eaten there could be infection in the body and even there could be life risk in case of a child, ill & old age person.
                                I am a Senior Citizen of 62 years old.

                                  I am very much thankful to your product. I have been using the same for last 7 years. However, your dealer at Alapuzha, Kerala is not responding to the complaints made by me for more than last one month. I find it very difficult and forced bring this in to your notice. The name of the dealer is one Mr.Thomas. Whenever I make telephone calls, he gives false commitments. I need one Filter, one Tap and one battery kit. I am working employee of a public sector organization. It is pained to note that how a dealer of a reputed Company like yourself can behave like this.                                     Dear Sir/Madam, I have brought PureIt last year and I am very satisfied with it. Now, I want to change the Germ Kill Kit and I am unable to find it in the market. Every retailer I visit informed me that the product is no longer available. I tried to order it in the internet by visiting your website. But, I could not find the GKK for my unit. We brought this product with the trust on your organization. Now, we are facing problem. Please guide me. I guess, there are many other users who are facing the same problem.
