Hi,

I purchased a **Hindustan** Uniliver Water Filter Pureit Classic on 10.02.2011, the details of the product are given below:

Within a couple of months the Water Filter started MANUFACTURING Fungus in it and was growing at alarming rate.
When representative came he told this is fault of sunlight even when it is kept inside the room. Somehow sunlight found the way to curve infinitely to hit the Pureit with pure agony and helped it's dear fungus to grow. What a fantastic reply.

We raised complain couple of time and each time complain was registered as Pure PUREIT is Leaking. Why leaking nobody knows as every time those guys are ready to write a new complain with super dedication for LEAK. Please find the numbers below:

The highly intelligent technician came and replaced the POLISHER CARTRIDGE, from that day it is magically not even filtering at all. Every time manual intervention is needed to get some water.

Why the fungus appeared at the first place is not explained and i read in consumer complaint forum on internet for the similar thing; no action is taken till date.

Please have a look at the snaps i took for the Pure Pureit which manufactured FUNGUS.

Kindly have a look at the complain which i have for you guys below:
Why the fungus carrying Pureit was not replaced at once as it was responsibility of company and you guys are accountable for the same.
Why you are not concerned if someone fall ill after drinking that dirty water which is clearly so dirty.
Why the request is again and again raised as Leaking, why not with the complete details
Why and how you guys will repay if someone gets a dangerous disease from this filthy water
Why you are having that 1 crore challenge when your own product is such a bad example of manufacturing fungus inside it.
I am really tempted to send the photograph and sample to News channel and raise a FIR against your company. Please let me know one good reason for not doing the same. you think that you can sell whatever you want without having any responsibility.

I really dont know what to say to you guys as the whole staff is so ridiculous, they dont tell the name of manager or the concerned person to whom the complains can be raised.

I will not recommed this to anybody and will write a post on the same on social networking site mentioning that how irresponsible your comapny and managment is on these serious issues.

    I took pureit purifier Auto fill 4 months ago.It was properly working till the end of the first battery life.I ordered a new battery worth Rs500/-.The new battery worked for only 1 week,and then suddenly the purifier stoped working.I called the customer care toll free no.The representative said that he will come within 48hrs.But he didnt came.Now almost one month is over after my complaint,but yet I got no response from them.
    I would say that Pure it is one of the worst product I have ever purchased.And the customer care service is also very bad which gives no response.I would advise that not to purchase pure it,its a cheap and worst company.

    Your product & service is 3rd class, in fact all o[censored] at H.U.L.r 3rd class people who r selling such worst product called pureit.Instead d name should be dirt it, spoil it . Your company only wants to make money by fast pushing d product (so called FMCG) & not to care about customer at all.You people are so miser, kanjoos marwadi that in order to save your money, u never call-up ur client inspite of my giving mobile no.([protected]) to u n.no.of times but instead keep on sending useless smses to us (by using mobile companies bulk sms facility) My dear Hindustan Unilever (jokingly called hindustan chi lever khanari in marathi) why don't u subscribe to unlimited talk-time facility of mobile companies & talk to us at least once.or r u scared to talk to us after selling your bogus & fake product called pureit.
    Lastly; all that I would say that come & take back ur horrible pureit lying idle with me for past couple of months & refund my monies.
    Pureit Battery kit is bit costly & its price tag needs to be lowered as it has to be replaced after @ every 3-4 months depending upon the usage. The company has to take its cognisance & be price sensitive so that the customers do not feel pinch to their pockets while replacing battery.
    Also; Hindustan Unilever has to improve its sales & service attitude so that customer is not taken for a ride.
    Customer care no.should be toll-free & not premiumly charged as is the case now.
    All these cases reflect on company's image & its product in the long run.
    I hope d company takes serious note of the above points & corrects itself.

    I am facing a similar problem. Got the kit replaced but the purifier stopped working after a week. This is extremely annoying, I have heard about this issue from many people.
    I contacted helpline. Not sure if my issue will get addressed. But you guys are swindlers and your product is not worth buying. Pure-it is a super flop.
    Send someone to rectify the issue or take this useless product back and refund my money.

      hindustan lever pureit — Battery Replacement

      I have booked for a HLL PureIT Battery Kit a month back on 17/10/08 (Response Number-S08/BLR[protected] and so for those executives didn't deliver me with one. My repeated phone calls to the Customer Care and mails were in vain.

      I never seen such a bad response in my life so for. And i don't know where to move from here. There promise to deliver battery for a charge of 300Rs. in three working days is utter NON-SENSE

      Executives dont even connect us to higher authorities so that we could get some valid explanation.

      Dear sir,

      Battery life of pureit supplied by your agent may be completed. Though I contacted but till date I hv not got any response.

      Shall be happy if you can arrage to send some one to change batter of my pureit.

      It was told by your agent he wl come after 1yr to check up battery life and total performance. But sir, it is only consolation once they can gv any product after that it is really very hard to contact them. Moreover, they never fulfill their comitment.       We placed a request for battery on 1st July 2010 but of now we have receivdd any update on that.

      now the situation is like the HLL excutives are asking us to pay extra money (black marketing) for the same.

      hindustan lever pureit — battery replacement

      I am Sanjay singh negi, bought and using pure it water purifier for the
      4 months. For battery replacement I have placed requests for so many times by calling their Custmer Support number which was provide by them. But I am not get any response from any of theperson in the custmer support depatment. Iam really vexed up by placing my requests several time. Till now I haven' t get the battery replacements. This show thier bad attitude towards the custmers. I will going to Inform all my collegues & friends, and also will advise them not to buy this poor customer support Hintustan Lever puer it water purifier. plz have some action to against my complaint.

        I have purchased a Unilever's Autofit water purifier in the month of December 2010. Now some GREEN SPOTS are formed and they are developing in lower tank. I have given a complaint to customer care on [protected] on29/05/11. I was given reply that it will be attended within 24 hours. Nobody have turned up till night of 30/12, when i contacted on phone, they give the reply that it will be attended in TWO days. When i asked whether we can the water, they are unable to give any reply except that IT WILL BE ATTENDED. Till time it is not attended. please do needful

          Good morning.

          I purchased Kissan fruit jam couple of months back. We found the fungus immediatelyy when bottle opened first time and after that register the complaint in customer care of Hndustan lever. They only wants a bottle for their in house analysis. Where i want a very strict punishment to them. Its a not a mistake but i can say its Crime. They are playing with peoples live that is also childens live mostly.

          I have attached some images of products which kept with me. They are not serious about this matter and after my many mails to them nothing is happening.

          Request you to help us in this matter and try to show images and information to peoples for awareness against such big name.

          Please suggest how to proceed for legal action.

                sir,
                I have pure it water filter which I bought 20/07/09.he machine has developed some problems for which I called up customer care twice or thrice but no one has turned up so far.he just give me complaint no. C[protected],C[protected].
                have serious doubts about quality Hindustan Lever Pure it, which is supposed to do five stage cleaning and kill bacteria etc.

                In my case; I saw green alge in the transparent section and from then I am not using it.

                I don't know what those five stage cleaning...

                  Water collecting ( Transparent ) Chamber was broken and was replaced with new battery fitted. The tap is leaking and this has been brought to the notice of the executive who came and replaced the chamber but in vain. He promised to put new washers and fix the problem the very next day but did not turn up even after a week and is also not lifting the phone. Very pathetic service.

                    I bought a Hindustan Unilever product viz. pureit compact on19/05/11 from a local shop from where they done the installation & packed the material in two parts,where the first part consists of top chamber & batching chamber & the second part consists of bottom chamber & cleansing collection chamber. On 23rd May'11 I placed the first part above the second part of the purifier& started pouring water in the as per the manual. But when the bottom chamber started filling with purified water after about 15 minutes I analyzed that water is choking in the right side & coming out of the purifier.
                    On 23rdMay'11 morning I lodged a complain in the customer care with the complain no.C[protected], & on that evening a Service Engineer arrived in my house & before starting his work or without knowing on which product his complain is made for he is asking for Rs. 50 which is his service charge. It is ridiculous. After that he entered my room where the purifier is placed & explaining me that due to some water which has been stucked in between the Bottom Chamber & Cleansing Collection Chamber the water is choking out of the purifier & also told us that if the water will be washed out than the choking will stop,on asking him to open & clean the water,he answered-"It will take time to open & so he will not open it". Atlast I pressurised him to open the chambers & wash the water out. After opening & washing the chambers also the water choking didnt stopped but still the sevice engineer is telling us that it is not a defect & it is due to the stacked water though he washed it out.
                    The most astonishing thing happened is that after departure of the service engineer I again lodged a complain for replacement of the bottom & cleansing collection Chamber ,the customer care executive informed me that next day ie on 24th May'11 their executives will arrive & sort out the problem but next day nobody came but still they send me an sms on the vary day that their engineer visited the complain & please give your feedback though on that vary day not a single person visited to attend the complain.
                    So still now I am facing the problem & cant get the solution.

                    Yeah the complain has been resolved to my satisfaction though after two days, but I still have a complain & that complain is of offers which has been started from 15th of May to give coupons for winning either 1 more year warranty or free of cost pureit product. If your company is providing this offers only for some selected states than it should be informed that this offers are for selected places only. I have bought two pureit products on 19th of May & on asking about the coupon in the retailer shop they just refused by saying that they are not known about any such offer. I was amazed with the reply of the distributor when asked about the offer his reply was "I dont have any such information but I will let you know within 10 minutes" but till today I dint got neither the information nor the coupons, & now after spending almost Rs.100 for coupons & rectification by calling the customer care & distributor & retailer I am now totally frustrated. My humble request to Hindustan Lever please dont give such unreachable offers & if you throw such offers than please mention the places where it is easily chasable.

                    Really not fully satisfied with the Pureit Support team.

                      A battery germ kill was ordered for res 550/- + 30/- delivery charges which is 580/- . The executive who came from Shreya Enterprises (HUL) Pureit, Shop no 10 Sai ram gokul dham society siddharth nagar, kopri colony, thane east, 400603, charged rs 50/- estra without cleaning the device. please tell me if this is a dacoti or a proper customer service. There was no one at home but only a old lady, who narrated the entire story . If this could not be sorted from your end i will have to launch a manual complaint at the consumer forum. This will also be reported to the local police station

                        I had ordered for a new germkill battery through telephone. The request is confirmed by the company by SMS and received as request no. RFS/385372. I am getting SMS from the company regularly for reply asking whether received or not. I replied no. Till date no one contacted me for supply. It is almost one motnth since I orderd the battery. Please look in to it.

                          I brought the Pure It intella product in the month of September 2012, and today I found out that in the main container there is algae formation in the bottom. Earlier in this month I was facing the stomach and body problems and my doc suggested that may be this is due to un--pure water, but as I was in the good impression of pure it, I denied the reason it, which now I think, that is not true.
                          We think that you provide your products for the customers good health in the brand name o[censored]nilever so please try to maintain that brand name.

                          I sincerely request you to please send your person for checking my pure it battery and filter life and try to replace it as soon as possible. As I am unable to you it till that time.

                            lakme peach &plum fruit moisturiser container cap does not lock properly & spilled the thinner fluid into cloth in my suitcase. It is 100 ml, rs. 130/ , 9/10, B. No B26. I purchased it but never expected this poor quality from such a big multinational company/ brand. please acknowledge the quality measures & remedy.

Not even the germ kill kit. My complaint for leakage is lodged on 29/04/11 C[protected] then on 04/05/11 C[protected] then 09/05/11 C[protected] but since today i.e. 19/05/11 i have not recieved any service or not even a call from company. I am fed up now just want to throw that filter in the sea. I will never buy any of it and i will never recommend to any of my friend or relative to buy one.

                                Hi,

                                I have been using Pureit since last 5 months. I have experienced no filteration twice. Currently the filter is not working and the water is not dripping in the lower box. I have registerd at least 5 complaints with the Pureit service centre. They do not have technician who work on Sundays. I have been following up with them since Saturday 14th May 2011. The call center executive who received my complaint promised me (after much persuation and leting them know how after sales service is very important) that their technician will call me on Sunday after 9 am. However no one bothered to call. After that a technician landed up at my place 4 in the noon on Monday. Obviously no one was home since all o[censored]s are working professionals. He refused to come back after 6 in the evening. I registerd 3rd complaint after which, a technician came before informing or calling me that he would come by 6.45. Even then I told him to wait there for 20-25 min within which I would have reached home. However he outrightly refused and informed me very rudely that he cant wait and I can complaint against him to whoever I want. Is this the way to behave with customers? Anyway seems these technicians have the last wordin the company and can afford to behave this way. Even after this when I told the customer support executive he registered only complaint and informed that technician will not wait and he can come only next day. I even spoke to his senior but he said he's helpless. They didnt even have the technician's contact number to take their case.

                                I bought Pureit because it Hindustan unilever product and was expecting a good aftersales service. But to my surprise they have very bad after sales service and why on earth they cant have technicians working on Sundays or after 8.

                                I am buying water and spending on it from Sunday if that is not enough these people are treating us consumers like doormats.

                                Now could any one please help me to tackle this issue?

                                Thank you! The technician arrived on weekend and repaired the filter. Thanks
                                I bought Pureit water system on 17.10.10 vide receipt no.MSM[protected]..after paying rs.2000 in cash.it was installed by Mr.Naveen kumar jha..mobile no.[protected]..it worked pretty well..then i called their customer care for the replacement of new germikill kit...which was replaced by Mr.joginder(mobile no.[protected])..on 5.5.2011..after paying a cash payment of Rs.580...with the assurance that the new battery shall purify 2250 ltrs of water...however it did not work as per the claims by the company...I HAD TO ORDER ANOTHER ONE ON..1.9.2011...replaced by Mr. Naveen kumar jha...I explained him my problem...he also agreed with my complaint and then made me talk to his senior..Mr.Amit..who was not ready to accept the lesser amount of water purified by their kit...i was assured a F.O.C.(FREE OF COST) replacement by Mr.Naveen after carefully inspecting all the relevant parameters set by the company, to refund me my money with in a week or 10 days.
                                BUT IN SPITE OF SEVERAL CALLS NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN FOR THE REFUND OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY...YESTERDAY I WAS TOLD BY MR.NAVEEN TO LODGE A COMPLAINT THROUGH MAIL..AS HIS SENIORS ARE NOT READY TO LISTEN TO HIM...
                                MY REQUEST IS TO REFUND ME MY MONEY AT THE EARLIEST...THANK YOU..

                                  I have a leakage problem in my marvella water purifier. I made my first complaint on 16th morning around 10:00 Am. I was told the service engineer would come within 24 hrs. However that did not happen till evening of 17th so I made another complaint and this time I was told it would be rectified eithi 12 hours as this was my 2nd complaint. Fortunately the service engineer came on 18th evening around 6 0 clock and to my surprise he told me he does not knows anything about Marvella. I made another complaint the same time and I was told it would be rectified by 12o clock on 19th its already past that time while I am writing this feedback and complaint.
                                  So I would rate the services provided bu these guys as simply PATHETIC.

                                    hindustan unilever pureit replace battery on my request with paid INR 550 on 11th april which fail the function within 15days after instalation & become RED. after my so much complained & contineous follow up for 15days they replace the defective one with new one whose cost is INR 300. it is direct loss to me of INR 250.
                                    it is just like cheating with customer.

                                    The loss has started now as this will keep on going... but you should be happy that you have got a good water filter. because the old type of filters are usless and need to keep on changing the filter tubes.

                                    If you had taken the sweet converting water filter which rates come arround 10000 and more there there are 4 filters which will cost arond 2000 rs so what you had taken is good filter and be happy with it. As you know any using mechin will we comes under problem. yes i aggree with bad service from the Uniliver but comparing to other services

                                      The worst ever possible customer service.Even I have faced the similar problem.My Battery Kit has not been replaced inspite of numerous calls.Hindustan Unilever Limited should withdraw the product if they cannot run the show properly.
                                      such a shame ful response by the company they send there represetative through thier dealer Mr Pardeep Mishra mobile number [protected] , he repalce the defective battery and ask for to pay for this we refuse as had paid already , he take out and replace one.
