I am using Pure it water purifier from last 9 months and it is observed that this product is faulty designed by default. In my pure it machine I found that by every 4-5 days ants are seen in pure water tank while at the time of selling of product they assure us of pure water. I don't know from where this ants enters in to the pure water section of the purifier. I have discussed this problem with my relatives and friends who are
recentely using this products and I am suprised that all are experience the same problem. This product is having manufacturing fault itself and must be replaced by the company.

With reference to the above I would like to bring to your notice that I have purchased pureit in the month of february .Wth in a month there was a silver line formed in a lower chamber which was complained on your helpline number ,The representative who attended the complaint neglected the issue saying it was due to temperature problem.
On October 14th the Germkill Life Indicator which showed red . I called up at your helpline number for the replacement of the kit . The executive who had came recommended me that it will last for few more days and see that the indicator turns fully red and there is no need to worry as the water automatically stops after off the supply of Pureit water, causing purifier to overflow from the front. This ensures no member of your family accidenlty consumes water that may no longer be safe for drinking. With the assuarance of the executive I was tense free and waited for the same till date the indicator is the same but there was salt crystals and the germs accumulated in the lower chamber . I spoke to the senior executive Mr Narshima but there was unsatisfactory feedback from him.
I request your goodself that I had received the faulty pureit from the date I purchased which was not accepted by your representative .
Till date the purification process is not working and there is no answer except to change the kit .
I hope you take my complaint seriously and get it replaced at the earliest to avoid any legal hassle.

AND RS 510 FOR 220 LTS WORKS FOR ONLY 5 MONTHS
ALL CONDITIONS ARE SAME WHY THEY ARE CHEATING IN BATTERY

PLEASE NOTE MY OTHER EXP TO CALL WAS RS 200/- AND
ALSO DISTURB MY MIND PEACE ...
I HAVE RECOMENDED PUREIT MORE THAN 20+ FRIENDS AND RELATIVES
COMPANY IS NOT PROPERLY LOOKING SO I MUST GATE PROPER
SERVICE AND MY LOSS AS REFUND

    I am water-Purifier -> HCL - "Pure-It" consumer.. have been its consumer for last 2.5 years..their service was good initially. Every 4 months the appliance Filter n Battery-kit needs to be replaced with new one (inidicator turns Red, indicating that appliance wont work any furthey with old battery). They service executive used to replace on time n collect the charges after showing the bill, which we used to pay-off.

    But last two occassions, had bad exp with "Pure It" servicing executives,had booked for replacement of kit , but got response after 5-6 days...

    Every 4 months the filter n Battery-kit needs to be replaced.But the Pure-It has increased the charges of simple plastic filter from resonable Rs35 to Rs 100 recently which was unfair, and also increased cost of battery-kit..which makes consumers think of the appliance, wheather to use OR not...

    The Service-executive person had come 5 days after booking for it, and that too, without the receipt/bill from Pure-It and had charged more than usual..
    On asking for producing the bill @home, he refused n then took his battery-kit back and left without replacing the old one with new one!!

    Hope :( such ppl dont get away without facing punishment, as they r also spoiling the image of HCL - Pure It!

    Need to take apt action n ensure that consumers are not treated like this again in future!

    First of all, I would like to know the total charges for replacement of the
    1) battery-kit and
    2) the filter cover @my house...since the person who had arrived was charging unusually extra I would like to know from you the total charges I need to pay him for this..

    Also, will he come with the bill.. ?

        I am using the Rs. 1000/- compact Pure it (10 litres ) for last 8 months. Each time i suffer to get Germkill kit for me. Whenever I went to the company they said no stock. i am ordering through the phone or sending SMS and i am wasting the monery for last 15 days. This is the third time I am suffering to get this kit. whenever I am calling the helpline each time different person attend the phone and said we are taking your order and send within 72 hrs to your home address. but still I am not get the kit.           In 2008 , I had bought a Pure-it water purifier. The usual battery life is of 1 year in this , as I was told by the supplier. . The battery is due for change is indicated by - a white screen turning red on the purifier face. When even after more than 14 months , it showed not even a trace of turning red , I called upon the service provider . who after cleaning the system said - Your battery is O.K.. The screen is still white . You people just continue with it .
          Now , when almost 2.5 years have been passed , that battery life indicater is still white. This means , the system we were provided with was a faulty one since beginning ; and we were consuming the same impure water for all this period.

            To Customer Care

            I have booked a Pureit Battery kit 8 Days back. I am yet to receive the Battery Kit till date. When I contacted the Customer care helpline they say to day it is not good day and we will delivery it someother day. When contacted the next day they take the order again and give 72 hrs time to deliver the same. How many 72 hrs do the company need to deliver the battery Kit??? Inspite of bluffing with customer why not make it available in Leading branded stores??? I hope you understand the customer's plight in getting a battery kit leavealone the service part of it. Atleast the person whom I spoke to customer service says he doesn't have his Manager's telephone number. Why bluff with customers??

            I would like to know by reply mail whether the same can be delivered today itself or not.

                I am a regular customer of Relaince Mart, my card number is [protected]. I would like to bring to your notice that I recently purchased a water purifier (Hindustan Unilever Purit) from Reliance Mart and while unpacking the Purit I found that there was a part missing. On contacting the Reliance Mart for the same it was told that the part is not required and Purit is completely functional with the provided stuff. When confirmed the same from the customer care executive of Hindustand Unilever, I was told that its an important part of Purit and I realised that how these people in Reliance are not just misleading customers but also ready to play with the customer's health. This also is spoiling the brand name of Hindustand Unilever.

                  Subject: Bad Service by Unilever (pure it Auto fill) , Date purchased - 18/8/2010,

                  This has happened with from the time i requested to change my battery kit. My Pureit Auto fill stopped functioning after they changed my battery. I have been calling them but there is no response. In case they pick up and attend, they won't come to your home for even to listen the problem. I bought this only 6 months back and the warranty period is still on. Never seen such a bad service any where. This product will not survive in the market for too long if they don't pay any heed to complaints.

                    Dear Sir,

                    I have bought new pure it form your dealer M/s Gayatri Electronics next To PCMC Building before 4-5 months. Then i have observed that it is leaking form bottom. I have logged call with your customer care.Complaint no C[protected]. Your representative have visited my house and told me to use feviquick at the leak i had showed him the original bill. Now the leak is not fixed and i still found problem with the product while buying it was told to me that if there is any problem the product will be replaced but till now nothing action has been taken.

                        I PURCHASED NEW HINDUSTAN UNILEVER PURE IT, AFTER INSTALLATION IT IS FOUND TO BE DAMAGED AND WATER KEEPS ON LEAKING. THE EXECUTIVE PROMISED ME, HE WILL REPLACED THE DEVICE, BUT IT HAS BEEN MORE THAN A WEEK, I AM NOT GETTING PROPER RESPONSE FROM BOTH CUSTOMER CARE AND EXECUTIVE.                           I own a pureit classic water purifier. I am having the appliance for the last 3 years. The service back up in Saharanpur UP where i was posted was excellent, but since i moved to new panvel the last year the service is pathetic to say the least. The only time I ordered a refill about 3 months back the man who came to change the cartridge was so unskilled that he destroyed all the locks in the purifier. The tap of the pureit broke about 2 months back and no one turns up in spite of repeated calls to the customer care. It is high time the company takes notice of this issues and revamps the set up to ensure continued costumer loyalty or else the customer is forced to change over to better brands with better back up.

                            Hi,
                            Been using ur Pure it water purifyer, and found it to the level of satisfaction, service was found ok- it gave a feel good feeling --till a month back.

                            As Routine the battery life was over,requested for change , it was done promptly.
                            After a month of replacement it started reading for a change, and to just check i cleaned the element as suggested by ur rep.
                            but there was no change and it started leaking from side.
                            called helpline -complain no.c[protected] no response.
                            again called helpline -complain no.c[protected]- your rep.comes to cross check the fact and finds that the complaint was right, and he said he will do the needful and left.
                            Then for two days no response and worst is that no body lifting the call, your rep, also gives incomplete mobile no.(How Clever).
                            after a hard try he comes again and ask for the ORIGINAL Receipt ---Reason cited is to forward to Company for replacement.

                            I have paid Rs.600 and should cough up more 600 for the next month---is it so.
                            what is Hindustan Lever doing - u feel happy abt this.
                            Pls tell me:
                            1) How to make difference between the Filter element(Battery) of Rs.330 and Rs.560(u talk in terms of liters)
                            2)why r Battery not in packed box,showing the cost.
                            3)whats the solution for my problem - my filter is been lying on side for almost for a month in spite of doing the required.

                            I request u to reply to my plead,to get a clear picture of your standing on this issue.

                              i have buyed a pure it water purifier, after filling water i found leakage, i called shop and informed, they gave executives number,i called him there was no response, and then i called Kerala customer care on 25th,26th,27th,&28th mar 2011, the customer call person told that he will send a person, he dint sent any one, i called 6 times, whenever i call they say they will send & they wont send. So today i decided to give back & go to buy any other good company product.

                              Pure It, Hindustan Unilever — Leakage problem from day 1, Poor Service

                              I have purchased Pure IT purifier from Shree Pimpri, Pune. From Day 1 there is leakage in the purifier. Customer care is very poor. Till today only once technician visited. And still problem is unsolved.

                              Please DO NOT PURCHASE PURE IT, HINDUSTAN UNILEVER water purified.

                                I am customer of pureit water purifier since last 5 months. They provide services regarding battery after same are lost the purification process. I have purchased that because of the service assurance of the changing batteries immediately within 24 hours, as said by demonstration persons. I purchased that considering such service, because drinking water is important for the health and immediate purification facility will help to get family okay....

                                first time I have ordered new battery on the 27-mar.-2011 but till today I yet to received battery (GMK) after booking order till today I made a three call & person told me to provide such service surely within 24 hours, we already book your order and within working day our person visit you & I will send your order number on your register mobile no. but I am not received any order number.

                                Jitendra dilip waghmare residing at pune with Customer Id- [protected] is extremely sorry to state that now we feel that we have done a big mistake in buying the Pureit Product. We had ample belief in the Hindustan Unilever product, but now it seems that we are cheated. For the past couple of days I have I think I make big mistake to trust on your company

                                    I recently found that the prices of certain product varies indifferently from what the general perception of people is in the market.

                                    Likewise

                                    Take the case of Maggie Noodles, what they have done is....they have increases the prices for bigger packets which is just opposite to market people believes.

                                    It seems now they started making fool of the general public in the other way, i.e. their new market mantra seems to be"Bada hai toh mehnga hai, aur phir public toh ...........hai"

                                    To make it more simpler for you to understand, see the below example:

                                    Say if 180gm noodles packet come for Rs. 15, what will you accept for 2*180 gm noodles...for most of the people answer will be Rs. 2*15. But actually you will find on the packet either its > 2*180 gm for Rs 30 or a bit lesser amount for what you deserve.

                                    Best would be go to the market.Check the price with its quantity and then compare it with its higher weight sample. My advice would be to always calculate per gm rate. You will get to know yourself.

                                      I just blame myself for buying a water purifier from such an mismanaged company. At the time of sale I was taken through the demo stating there is no further expenses in the purifier, within 3 months of purchase we came to know Its required to change the battery probably every 3 months. It was fine with me however no details from where to get the battery. The sales executive once sold me the purifier has no more time to attend my call. Neither the Toll free number works for placing the order.Now do we have a provision of returning the purifier back to the company... absolutely FREE. Please come and take away your box. FREE.. FREE..,FREE a life time opportunity.Else do have shame..contact me on [protected] and send me the battery ASAP.Don't worry for the payment . I don't work in Hindustan Unilever

                                        I have placed order for battery kit atleast 3 times in a time gap of 15 days and every time I call the Customercare people say the battery kit will be delivered in my door step with 24 working hours.
                                        But till date no germ kill battery has been delivered to me. Should I buy some other water purifying unit or wait for the battery kit to be delivered before drinking water.
