Dear Sir,
My name is Pradipta Narayan Ganguly & my customer ID [protected], I had given request for change of Mesh Filter, several times in Customer Care of Pure it & they assured to deliver the same within two days, but it was never been delivered. When inquired again they assured to send it within seven days, and these process repeated for several times. I have personally gone to Pure it Service Center in Barrackpore but nothing improved. My complain is that sir if they are unable to supply the spare parts for the filter then why do HUL continuing with new product and neglecting old customers.
So I have strongly decided that I don’t want to use this product, if I'm not being served with spares.

    Our pure it started overflowing from 28th jan,complaint lodged on the same day,came for checking on 31st, couldn't find anything wrong.Again by evening it started overflowing , after many calls today(2nd feb) it was found that overflow is due to failure in sensor.I request u to replace the same with immediate effect.Product ID-"RPMAF00038934".Purchased on 12th june 2010,battery changed on13th dec along with detailed examination of all parts(changed within 4-5 months).
    Now it has started overflowing ,this is within one month of servicing.WHY TO WASTE SO MUCH MONEY ON A PRODUCT WHICH GIVES COMPLAINT EVERY MONTH??????
    THE SENSOR HAS TO BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY AS THE PRODUCT IS NOT EVEN ONE YEAR OLD!!!!!!!!

      Subject : Anti employee attitude of the Hindustan Uni Lever ltd. in India.
      Iam an Ex.HUL employee who had put 30 Years dedicated service in the company .I have been compelled by the company to go on V.R.S for joining a part-time course as value addition..Because of their compulsion I forced to take V.R.S in the year 2006.
      Up to this date they have not moved my papers to the govt.to get my eligible EPF ,with the result Iam not getting my EPF pension.This anti employee attitude of the MNC will certainly have impact on the performance of the company.Even though the company is an MNC they don't have any efficient administrative set-up.In my case I have already submitted the required forms on 2006 itself.Up to this time there is no action from the company side.Now Iam moving through legally to get my EPF pension.

        I have been using Pure-it from 2002 in Chennai. I shifted my residence to Vadodara and now i am facing problems with the replacement battery. I have placed order several times. Everytime they take a new order and say they would send an order no. to the mobile that never comes, not does the battery kit. I don't know what to do. If trusted companies do this kind of after sales service then...

          I have ordered for a battery replacement of my PureIT C.S [protected]. The manager and the staff of the PUREIT call centre misbehaved with me and my wife and laughed while logging the complain. The order was placed 2 days back and the battery was not replaced as on 1st Feb.Now the manager is telling me that it will require another 1 day to deliver. I cannot tolerate this delay as I have my son 1 year old in my house who require germ free water the most.
          This PUREIT company does not bother to deliver things on time and moreover misbehaving with the customer. Hence I would suggest no customer should purchase any product from them going forward.
          Please take serious action against the manager of the Pune call centre and the staff(name: Vijayendra). Pune call centre no : [protected]

            I am terribly upset with the service support of Pureit it's pathetic. Hope HUL does something about it. Unable to get the service center number even after contacting customer care.

              WATER NOT REACHING MAIN CONTAINER

              1. i bought Pureit from Ambala after getting impressed by their massive advertisement campaign " ek crore ka challenge". it performed satisfactorily for sometime but however suddenly in dec 2010 the water stopped getting filtered into the main container,

              2, Till then there have been many attempts by me to solve the issue by launching complaints.. i checked with some of my friends , they also are facing the same problems... one of them has also launched complaint in this forum..by the way so called engineer came after repeated reminders. He told me that the filter had got blocked and then he cleaned it under the running water and filled the filter with water. The water got filtered however took lot of time.eg one litre of water takes 5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!(imagine)
              3. but now water has stopped filtering only.
              4. It is not understood as to what is the problem and the service engineer being sent is not qualified to rectify the same, the company as it claims is not living upto its reputation.
              5. I dont understand what is point of creating a technology to get safe water and ask for challenge when the the water doesnot come in main container only.its very sad state affair especially when the complete household is dependent on safe water.
              6. please solve the issue.

                1. I brought a Pure it water filter on 04-Jun- 2010 from Variety Hall Agencies,TULSI MALL, Coonoor (T.N). The bill No is 3740, TIN No is [protected] & CST No is 330222 dt 17.7.71.
                2. Since Oct 2010 the filter has stopped filtering water. On giving the complaint to Variety Hall Agencies a person was sent who also came after I had to remind them at least three times. He cleaned the filter and it worked for about a week but not as it used to initially.
                3. I dont whom to approach for getting the filter replaced as it is causing a lot of problem as far as the health is concerned.
                4. I had put this complaint two months back also but no reply has been received till date. It is a shame that a company like hindustan unilever has such a poor customer care services, it seems this product which they had launched is a failure & the company itself doesn't know how to correct it.
                5. It is time for the management to wake up before its too late.

                    With out attended the complent daily I have received S.M.S. your complent has been attended.
                    Regarding this I have reported Higher management and inform them for this false reporting. They said We shall attanded ur complent.
                    But His executive call me and demond visit charge.
                    I said to him this is on under gurentee. But he said with out to & fro Charge He will not come.
                    I have informed Pure it higher management but they also fabour his executive.
                    While Customer Care of it said to me i[censored]nder Gurentee Then no need to Pay any thing.

                    I have given SMS to pureit to buy the product 1 month back. But till date no one has been turned up to give free demo and nobody called.

                    This is what they are giving services to the consumers. Just they are advertising that's all. No action beyond that.

                      WHILE PUCHASING PUREIT WATER PURIFIER I WAS TOLD THAT COST OF GERMKILL KIT INCLUDES SEVICECE CHARGES AND THERE WAS NO DELIVERY CHARGES. BUT WHEN I PLACED ORDER LAST WEEK I GOT SMS TO PAY RS. 400 FOR THE KIT AND RS. 30 FOR DELIVERY. WHEN I GOT A CALL FROM LOCAL SERVICE AGENT HE TOLD ME THAT RS. 30 IS SERVICE CHARGE. WHEN I TOLD THAT NO SERVICE CHRGES TO BE LEVIED AS PER THE TERMS AND CODITIONS OF SALE HE SAID THAT IT IS DELIVERY CHARGES..SO IT IS CLEAR THAT CUSTOMERS ARE CHARGED SERVICE CHARGE IN THE GUISE OF DELIVERY CHRGES WHICH IS CHEATING BY HINDUSTAN LEVER.

                        I have purched the pureit last 1.5 years ago in gurgaon city. At present i am living in Kashipur ( uttrakhand ). I have changed the GKB last 15 days ago. After purifivation of water we found like mudy & smelly. Again i have ched the GKB. But the water purification is as same as.My Pureit Sr. No. is RPB[protected]. I am already comlaint by phone in customer care & complaint no is C[protected] last 7 days ago. but nobody attaind the complaint & Two times massage is given by your customer care that somebody is attended the complaint. But nobody attaind the complaint till time. Pls. do some thing on urgent basis.

                          I have bought HUL pureit. now the purifirekit is over. My customer id is-[protected] in favour of santosh kumar . I bookked for a kit by dialing customer care help line of pure it at Patna branch on 11/01/11. The help liner assured me to provide the kit within 78 hrs.but it is still not provided up to 24/01/11 in spite of several reminders. he also did't provide me booking no. by giving plea that his computer is very slow in spit of several reminders. I call him on the help line no.--[protected]. My pureit is kept idle without the purifier kit leading difficulty to drinking water. kindly help me and solve the problem by lodging a complaint against the defaulters. My mobile no .is [protected].

                            I have purchase a water purifier from Balaji Bartan Store, Rustampur Dhala, Gorakhpur. on 17.01.2011. But in your product leakage is being observed contineously from the same day. I have complain several times on your help line number. But my problem could not be resolved till now.

                              I am feeling so insulted to send this mail, but still I need to do the same to stop your practice of harassing the customers.

                              I am having your Pure IT water purifier from 2009 onwards. I had replaced the battery once in 2010 and it was something INR 350/- odd charged to me. The guy initially who came and installed the purifier had informed us that the charges would be only for the battery and not for coming and changing the same (i.e. it is free). In 2010 when it was changed also no extra charges were levied.

                              On 07 Jan (afternoon) I called up your helpdesk and ordered for a replacement of the battery as the indicator was almost red. The guy (Arijit) who handled the call, took the request instantly and informed me that next day somebody will come and replace the same and the charges would be INR 365/-. He also informed that he will be sending the request number through SMS to my registered number [protected].

                              Surprisingly I received two SMSs which actually give some address and phone number of pure it shop. I was really annoyed with this kind of misguidance and called up again the Helpdesk on 08 Jan (morning). I spoke with Suparna, who told me that since the area I stay is non-serviceable (suddenly it became), hence I need to pay INR 30/- extra if someone comes and does the replacement part. Or else I need to go and buy and fit it myself.

                              I explained her that this is not the first time I am getting it replaced. She was not willing to understand. WILL IT COME IN MY DREAMS THAT YOU CHARGE LIKE THIS?

                              ISN’T IT YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO INFORM THE CUSTOMERS REGARDING THIS? YOU SHIFT YOUR SHOP SUDDENLY AND MY ADDRESS BECOMES NON SERVICEABLE???? How can you do that?

                              I spoke with the Manager (??), Rakhi Thakuria; who was really ADAMANT and not willing to help me out. Is this the way you provide customer service??

                              I trust you are aware of the market and your rivals. You think that this kind of cheating will increase your customer base and Market price!!!!

                              I was once again taken aback when a SMS was received by me on 08th only that the battery has been delivered. If not please send SMS to bla bla…. PATHETIC !!

                              Finally one guy came yesterday in the afternoon to replace the battery and demanded the extra charges and was leaving my place without replacing. Since I had to look after my Family’s health, I had to pay the amount INR 395/-. This is not a matter of INR 30/-, it’s a matter of FALSE COMMITMENT, IRRESPONSIBILITY, ARROGANT CUSTOMER SERVICE, CHEATING, FRAUD… and the list continues.

                              I want this mail to responded by some high level managers and not by any CSEs, as they will not be able to understand the depth of the issue stated here. Let me see what action Pure IT takes.

                                Hindustan Unilever Pure It — BATTERY

                                Hi Sir / Madam,

                                We are using the HINDUSTAN WATER PURIFIER "PURE IT" for the past one year. The machine is working very properly but not the agents or the disturbitors.
                                Each and every time for battery replacement we have to go behind the agents or the distributors like dogs, for a single battery replacement we have to call those concerned peoples for the equivalent amount of the battery, i mean if battery is say eg inr 500, we have to call them for the same value or even some times more that that.
                                Regd this same subject i viewed lot of complaints from various peoples, the concerned department should take proper actions on this company.
                                i hope so and pray for the same.

                                I am Kadambari Khaire from pune. On 27th Aug i received a call from the company to take down my details so they can come and replace the battery. I had told the man that none o[censored]s are there home, other than weekend (saturday and sunday) and i wud appreciate if they could manage something at same time. It was good that today i instantly got a call from their executive who was only rude and said he can't manage to come over the weekend...so i urged him to make it any day as per his convenience to come after 5 as thats the last i can adjust with work. He denied saying..."u see what u have to do" as he cant manage. Their office is just 10 mins away from my place n m sure they can make it by 5. With this rude attitude should we leave our work. My only complaint is that they should have proper executives n if first when they assure to come at particular time, the executive should not deny it later.The executive never gave his name, however i have his number that is [protected].

                                Hi Hindustan Liver Pureit,
                                Glad to inform you that Hindustan Liver have cheated me and they are cheating others too. I have purchased Pureit on october 2008, the battery for the same worked for 9 months, after that i replaced the battery as it was red on 04/06/2009. The new battery worked for 30 days and after that it turned red again which was quite amazing. I talked to customer care regarding the same. They just given me a complaint num and told that a guy will visit my place with in 3 days, but no one did. Then i called them back and they again given me a complaint num as said the same thing i.e guy will visit you soon. Finally after 15 days a guy came and started saying we cant do anything for the same, then asked him to give me a num of his senior named Zubair, talked to him and he asked me to write a complain letter. Wrote the letter and guy came after 8 days to collect the letter. I called them everyday for the feedback. No one was answering properly, i wrote mails and other things but nothing happened. I dont have any problem paying 365 for the new battery but the customer service i experianced was worst and untolerable. I had a trust in Hindustan Liver Products from my childhood days which was broken. And in my future i would never and ever recommend any one for Hindustan Liver Product.
                                Hope you read the mail, so that you can come to know whats happening in the backyard of such a big BRAND HINDUSTAN LIVER.

                                I am using a Hindustan Unilever Pure it which needs an immediate change of Battery. I am trying the helpline numbers [protected],[protected],and [protected] since last years but the line disconnects in between. No one is even calling me back. I have wasted my 100 to 150 rupees in calling them. I STRICTLY CONDEMN THEIR SERVICES!...
                                I have ordered for a pureit 1500lt battery on 10.04.2010. No IS10/CBU[protected]. But till now I didn't receive the battery. Kindly help us to receive the same. SMS to [protected] is a waste one. I have lost Rs.3.00 on it. Your helpline is also payable by me (Rs.6.00 per call).
                                Telephonically i informed on 24.06.2010 to the company that ir is necessary to change the battery .
                                the response was that we will change the battery within 2 days . but after making phone calls several times thet have not hange the battery . every time they are telling that we will change the battery today/ tomorrow/ in evening etc.

                                I bought a Pure It about four months back. Battery of the said Pure It got finished. Battery is a main part in this product as if battery gets finished then the filtering gets stopped and nothing happened. I ordered for the battery about a week back and on daily basis I am following with the company. Every time I am getting reply that I will recieve the battery today but nothing happens. When this company sold the product, their reprentative came to my home for giving demo in 2 hours and now nothing is moving. My order number for the battery is S10/DLI[protected]. My family is drinking water without filtering and it may casue health problem. I do not why companies sell this type of products for which they do not have customer support system.

                                  I had purchase a bottle of Kissan tomato ketchup from food bazar, alipore, kolkata, manufatured by Hindustan Unilever Limted.

                                  It is observed that after opening of the bottle a few days latter their are some formation of bubble and bad smell. I had tried to approach HUL over the phone no. given on the bottle but the same was not in existance/reachable. Then I had send complains through email but is over a month now, HUL is not at all responding.

                                  Kindly take up the matter as suitable.

The complaint for the same has been lodged through the toll free number last month.                                         I had bought a 3 Unit Pureit water filter from HUL nearly a 8months back (Rajesh Adhikari Indore). Needless to say, i trusted the HUL brand while buying this product. The battery did not work as per their expected duration. One of them Within 15 days o[censored]se it got expired.

                                        After that repeated complaints to the company for replacing the battery has fallen on deaf ears.
                                        All calls to their helpline always resulted in the same answer, we are sorry for the inconvenience and we would assure you of the best service. I have registered three four complaints with them for the same. I my last order details are S11/GWL[protected].have tried to reach their senior management with mails; I am extremely disappointed that HUL is stooping to such lows. Whom can we trust if such big brands like HUL do not operate responsibly?
                                        Their manual itself claims that they will replace defective parts supplied by them. However, I am extremely sorry to say that even HUL makes false promises.We is talking about drinking water here. One of the worst services i have seen in my life.
