Pure It — Tape of Pureit Has Got Leakage

The Tape Has Leakages From Tank and seems white colored Tresses in the Tank.
I have purchased pure it Dt.18/06/09. From this date i am facing the problem of leakage from corner at bottom side.I raised the complaint ( Complaint No. C[protected] But no response from service dept.
I will wait for two days only otherwise I will go to consumer court to raise the complaint on your company.

Pure it — LEAKAGE

DEAR SIRS,
I HAVE LAUNCHED A COMPLAINT FOR THE LEEKAGE OF WATER IN THE INSTRUMENT ON 6TH WITH MR.SURENDAR (HELPLINE [protected]). HE TOLD THAT IT WILL ATTEND WITHIN 24 HRS. AGAIN I SPOKE TO ONE PERSON ON 7TH BUT NO RESULT.
THEN 8TH I SPOKE PREMA NO RESULT.
TODAY I SPOKE TO DEEPKA AS OF NOW NO RESULT.

IS THIS IS THE WAY U TREAT UR CUSTOMER ?
CAN ANYONE OF THE HIGHER OFFICIAL PLS LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND DO THE NEEDFULL AT THE EARLIEST.
I have purchased pure it Dt. 20.09.2007. From last 2 days i am facing the problem of leakage from upper side. So please send your service man immediately on the following address.

i have called ateast 5times for thr service of purect,about the leakeage of the purit.every time when i call i would be asured that the service will be given ib 2days but still now i didnt get any service.THE SERVICE OF THE PUREIT IS REALLY WORST.

MY MOBILE NO IS [protected]. I HAVE ORDERED FOR PURE IT BATTERY RS. 550/- APPROX. BEFORE 15 DAYS, I WAS TOLD BY THE EXECUTIVE THAT BATTERY WILL BE DELIVERED WITHIN 48 WORKING HOURS. BUT NO ONE COME TO ME OR CALLED. AFTER ANOTHER 10 DAYS I HAVE RECEIVED SMS FOR CONFIRMING THAT THE BATTERY IS DELIVERED OR NOT FROM NO. [protected] & [protected]. I HAVE REPLY IN NO. BUT NO ACTION AGAIN. AFTER 4 DAYS I CLLED ON THE NO. [protected] AND REQUEST HIM TO DELIVER THE BATTERY AND THE PERSON TOLD ME THAT OK I WILL DELIVER THE BATTERY BY TODAY. BUT TILL DATE NO ONE DELIVERED THE BATTERY. WAHT A POOR SERVICE BY PURE IT. THE WATER SMELLED. WE ARE BOILING THE WATER ON GAS. I JUST WISH WHY I HAVE PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT, WHY NOT OTHER.

IF YOU CAN TAKE ACTION, IT WLL GIVE RELIEF ONLY.

    This is Sarvesh Kumar Singh S/O Dr. Amarnath Singh.

    My father Dr. Amarnath Singh. have made complaint more than 40 times from June till date for fungus seen in the Pureit water tank (lower part). His Mobile No. is [protected] Each time your correspondent told him that your problem will be sorted in next 48 hours or next working day but till date no action has been taken. No one came to solve the problem. What is this ? Why fungus is seen in the lower tank when you claim that water is pure.

    Please take appropriate action as soon as possible.

      AUGUST' 2011 WITH CUSTOMER CARE OF PURE IT HINDUSTAN UNILEVER . THEY ONLY ASSURED ME BUT NO ANY TECHNICIAN COMES TO MY HOME TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM. NOW, TODAY I ASK FOR THE NO. OF TECHNICIAN THE CCE GIVES THAT NO. TO ME. I, ALSO CALL THAT TECHNICIAN BUT THE WAY OF TALKING OF THAT TECHNICIAN IS SO RADICULOUS AND HE SAID ME I DIDNOT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM IF YOU CAN DO ANYTHING CAN DO.

      ACTUALLY, THE PROBLEM IS, I HAD PURCHASED A PURE IT COMPECT OF10 LITRE FROM R.K. ELECTRICALS, GOVIND PURI ON 3RD OF JULY' 2011 IT WORKS PROPERLY BUT ON 1ST OF AUGUST WATER PUT ON IT DOES NOT PURIFIED AND WATER FELT DOWN. WE FILTERS ON AN AVERAGE OF 10 TO 15 LITRES IN A DAY THAT SUMS ONLY 500 TO 600 LITRES. BUT AS PER THEIR BOOKLET PROVIDED ALONG WITH THAT PURE IT MACHINE STATES THAT IT ENDS ONLY WHEN 1000 LITRES OF WATER GET PURIFIED.

      THE TECHNICIAN ALSO TOLD ME THAT HE DOES NOT CHANGE THAT BATTERY, HE CAN DO SO ONLY WHEN I GIVE HIM MONEY FOR IT.

        Sir, I have purchased pure it compact of hindustan unilever on date 5th august 2011 from mathura uttarpradesh india. On 6th when i started my device it started leaking from basement area, i called pureit helpline for assistance, they said my complaint will soon be processesed and i was given complaint no-C[protected]. its been more than 10 days each and every day they keep on saying mam we will come soon and daily i will get new complaint number i am fed up of this service my device is totally new and when i reported this to shopkeeper he said this is company problem now i am not getting any option daily i am wasting my call charges and daily i m being suffered the person who looks out after all this service process is from agra n daily he gives me new excuse.

        I have registered my complaint for pure it auto fill for leakage problem on 29 July 2011 & by the 1 Aug 2011 it was addressed but problem was not solved completely. Then again complaint was registered & on 3 Aug 2011 was addressed that to was not solved completely. Then after complaint was registered on 5 Aug 2011, 13 Aug 2011, 16 Aug 2011, 17 Aug 2011 & last on 18 Aug 2011. Every time it was assured that within 24 hrs your complaint will be closed. But till date it is not completed.

        I want immediate action on this otherwise I will have to approach to " Grahak Panchait" or national news channel if not solved immediately.

        very bad service...i purchased pureit on 9th sep 2012 and i complained to customer care for installation and today is 14 sep i called at least 50 times every time they said your problem will be shorted out till 8 o'clock evening but 6 days has passed and they did not come still my pure it is not working really very bad service after sell we should not by pureit i think..

          Subject: Problem Persists after Complaint No. C[protected]

          In reference to my last complaint with the above given complaint no. , I am shocked to inform you thet your device is still not functioning properly.

          We had many visits from your people who have tried to solve/set the unit in proper working condition, but they have failed. I give below a complete log of my complaints,you may also check with your records:

          01/07/[protected]------- Customer Care officer with a team of technicians attended and replaced few parts
          21/07/[protected]------- Complaint lodged for overflowing
          21/07/[protected]------- Visit by technician
          23/07/[protected]------- Battery replaced
          25/07/[protected]------- Complaint lodged for overflowing
          27/07/[protected]------- Technician attended
          31/07/[protected]------- Again leakage of water, complaint lodged
          2/08/[protected][protected] Technician visited, replaced a part and observed no change. They will visit again.
          4/08/[protected][protected] Technician visited and replaced a part
          09/08/[protected]------- Observed leakage again
          12/08/[protected]------- Complaint lodged

          In the last visit from your technician on 4th August, a part of the unit had been replaced, but after two days we find that water is again leaking from the unit.

          All this only re-emphasizes one point that the unit is defective and needs immediate replacement, which your officers have also expressed their concern about.

          I had purchased Pureit with a great hope of getting good performance than other purifiers but I am totally upset to find that I still have to drink plain unfiltered water.

          Hope to get a replacement and a better future of pure water for us, I end here.

            PUREIT COMPLAIN[protected]----6TH aUGUST

            Customer Care Department,
            Hindustan PureIT Water Filter,

            I, Mrs Smruti Mahulkar, would like to inform you that we had purchased the Hindustan PureIT water filter in 2008. Since then it was working fine without any complaint.
            Recently on 22th July we notice ALGAE Formation inside the last container of water storage area.We respectively,contacted your customer service department and asked them to inspect the container and water ( Registration no--C[protected], which they promised to do so, but nobody from the support team came on for the visit. To my utter shock we got a message on 30th July as (sorry to inform you that we could not trace your adderss), which not possible as we have change our kit every 3-4 times a year and the executive reaches us within 48hrs.
            After, this incident I have continuosly contacted your customer service department and spoken to the Ms Jyoti, Mr Mahesh and the senior customer executive MR Atul, Mr Ajinkya, MR Amar , but they could not take any quick and appropriate action.
            Suddenly I got a call on 4th July, from a local PureIt service provider that his executive would visit me as per their convinence, we are a working family, so I requested him to send his executive at 8.00pm on Friday( 5th July), to which I was clearly denied.
            Due to the Algae formation we have not been using the water since last 15days, we have a small kid at my residence.
            After so much of follow ups and talking to so many seniors, I am sorry to say that this is the most pathetic customer care department we have come across.
            NOW AT THIS STAGE I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM "PUREIT" THAT I WOULD BE FINALLY GOING TO THE CONSUMER COURT AND PRESS. AS OUR COMPLAIN WAS NOT ATTENDED ON TIME ( AFTER 15 DAYS) WHEREAS, THE COMPANY CLAIMS OF GIVING SERVICE WITHIN 48HRS AND ALSO GIVING BIG BANNER ADVERTISMENT ON TELEVISION.

            Claims regarding 1Corore -- peoples trust, is a utter nonsence , where there is a "ZERO" dedication of your customer care department...................................................

              Sir,

              I registered a complaint for leakage in my pureit, a sevice eng. came to check it and took rs.50 from us for a visit to check and identify where is the problem. Then the next he came with the top champer and battery kit and changed it and took rs.1200 and also said that there wont be any problem hereafter. But again there was leakage and we called the service eng. This time he said the bottom chamber has to be changed...

              Dear Sir
              We are using Hindustan Unilever Pureit Water Purifier classic model. By mistake the lower transparent chamber polisher's lock( 's' shaped small part) has got lost. We gave complaint many times but they are keeping on telling that they have placed the order and it will take time to get it. Already one month is over. We care complaint to customer care and also to local dealer, but response is same.
              With younger children in the house we need that spare part as soon as possible.
              Please do the needful.

ON 16th OF JULY 2011, WHEN I FILLED THE WATER IN IT I FOUND IT WAS LEAKING THEN LODGED THE COMPLAINT IN THE PURE IT CUSTOMER CARE ON 18th JULY 2011 AND TILL DATE I AM FREQUENTLY CALLING THE CUSTOMER CARE BUT I AM NOT GETTING ANY PROPER RESPONSE FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE NEITHER THEY ARE SENDNG ANY EXECUTIVE TO SEE WHAT THE ACTUAL PROBLEM IS NOR THEY ARE REPLACING THE DEFECTED PRODUCT IN WHICH THERE IS MANUFACTURING DEFECT.

                    Pure It from Hindustan Unilever — PUREIT UNIT SUPPLIED HAS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT

                    I picked up myself, a Pureit unit on 04/12/2007 AT 07.00 pm, Device serial no. RPM[protected], color maroon; from the local agents Jalaram agency, Navpada office located in Thane West.
                    1) I was told that one of their rep shall come for demo the very same day. Noboby turned up until 06.30 PM. I called up the concerned rep (FIROZ) and he said he shall come over next day morning hours.
                    2) Upon assembling the unit, I found that their is a substantial gap between the middle and purified water reservoir. This I informed the rep and he promised that he will look in it next day.
                    3) He came next day at 10.45 AM and upon observing the defect, tried to convince us that it will have no impact on the performance of the product. The issue was explained to the rep that we know that the unit will purify water, but what use is the purification process, if the purified water can be contaminated by dust etc which will enter through this gap. He insisted that upon filling with water, the gap will be eliminated. But he himself was afraid to do so. Upon observing his comfort level, we asked him to replace the part.
                    4) he came again at around 3.30 PM and brought a spare reservoir, which also did not fit. We again asked him to take back the unit and organize a replacement. The matter was also communicated to the Pureit helpline. They discussed the issue in front of me. They responded that by evening (08.00 PM) i.e on 05 Dec, they shall organize a replacement and sort out the issue.
                    Until this time, nothing has happened.
                    5) I called up the helpline today at 1035 Am and asked what is the status of the issue. Nobody knew what action is to be taken.
                    I asked for my refund of monies, they now respond that the area sales manager will come back to us with replacement.
                    I am sick and tired of calling the helpline and asking for solution, where nobody is responding.
                    I wonder, for a product, for which i have to call the helpline every couple of months or so, how it will work out.
                    I WANT MY MONEY BACK. IT WAS A MISTAKE DECIDING BUYING PUREIT.

                    I have placed order for a battery and a water filter white mesh on[protected] at chennai office. But I have been responsed by your office by supplying battery only on[protected] through Phoennix Associate, Chennai-71 and supplied vide their cash receipt No.1135/[protected] without your invoice. After making several complaints on this regard to your chennai office they have booked again a fresh order on[protected] by their Ref No.S08/CHN[protected] and informed me that they will supply the same within three working days. Till today there is no response from your chennai office. I had a talk with Mr.Vinod today with chennai office and I asked the status of the above reference he reports again I have to book fresh order. But I do not know how long I have to wait for even a water filter white mesh. Absolutely there is no response from your chennai office to me regarding booked order. Let me know where I have to order and make complaints if any failure on delivery of any order place to your chennai office. I hope that you will take necessary action on this issue with prompt steps for refrain this kind of delay. Please let me know the status of above reference given to me by your chennai office.

                    I am staying in Hyderabad. I am using Pure-it. I have ordered for a Battery Change about 2 Weeks ago. I was told it will be changed withing 3 working days. I am still getting calls from the Customer Care (Who does Not care) about my request. Unfortunately they are only making calls & not any action is taken.

                    I have even talked with few of the Seniors viz. Mr. Shravan Kumar & Mr. Naidu from Hyderabad who everytime says that by tomorrow if the battery is not changed then we will personally come & change it. Sometimes they give answers like their Technician is on Leave / he has already left from here, will be reaching to your house shortly.

                    I strongly reccomend that "NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT, AS THOUGH THE PRODUCT IS GOOD THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE".

                    I want to purchase a PureIt water purifier for that I called up your customer care no [protected] dated 11.06.08 for a demonstration of Pure It, reference no. - [protected](Name- Rahul Bhattacharya). From that day continously I following up with your customer care executives (14/06, 16/06/18/06, 20/06/23/06) but till date no one came for demonstartion. From kolktata I received calls 3-4 times ( mobile [protected]), the person every time assure me that his person will come to my palce, we wait for him but till date nobody turned up. I called up that number to know why nobody turned up after so many assurance, one day they said their shop closed, second day someone felt ill they took them in hospital, third day they don't have any stcok etc. What is going on.. Am i choose a wrong brand ...their are so many brands in market but I trust on Hindustan Unilever product. If demonstartion period such better experience happened then I am afraid about after sales service. I don't want to loose my faith on your company..pls do the needful.

                    I have booked our query on june 15th regarding batery change in our pureit water pureifer, they commited it will happen in next 3 days, but still today (08.07.08) making continous calls to local office (pondicherrt[protected] simply the answer is before comming to your home we will ring and come there, this is the response for more than 20 days, due to water problem(not good) we purshased the pureit, based on the company name but this problem is prolonging as on date.

                    I bought PureIt water purifier with lots of trust a month back. The purifier developed algea deposits at the bottom chamber of the PureIt.

                    The compaint was considered and technician came and cleard and went off. The same thing was repeated a week back and I fell sick after drinking water from it. I called customer care and asked for refund since I have lost faith in this product. Now, the reputed company like Hindustan Unilver is telling that it is not in our policy.                     The amount of water coming out from the water tap is very slow. We have to wait for atleast 3 min to fill even a single glass of water. Even the tap is very much delicate and it got damaged while pressing to take out the water. I have already placed a requset for that tap. They are charging Rs.70/- for that.

Somebody from your Guwahati branch contacted me over telephone and asked if I am interested in purchasing your "PUREIT" water purifier. As I shown my interest One Pc. Pureit was sent with one Mr. Prahlad Kalita on 20.10.2008 from your Guwahati branch (address not known by me) who described regarding Pureit with the unit brought by him. When asked about the bill he assured me that the bill will be delivered on next day and he collected Rs. 1800/- being the cost of the unit. However I got signed the voucher for the same. Regarding the warranty card also he told me that the same will be sent alongwith the bill.

                    I now want to know, when the bill will and warranty card will be delivered?

On enquiring from their call center it was told that I should not worry and someone would contact me.                     same thing happend to me also. As per the company's instruction, the consumer has to change the battery pack when the battery level indicator turns red. So my wife booked for the battery pack on december 2008 by calling purit help line. since then we are receiving fake promises that they will deliver the battery pack with in four to five working days. till now its going on. some body pls. advice me what to do such cases. The company is boosting their sales by showing continues advertisements in all the media's so at least some body has to take an action to stop the ad's of such irresponsible companys with out considering how big it is.

                    i m from tatanagar I had purchased pure it water purifier in aug08 & now i want to replace battery but i m not getting any response from ur executive.

                    My name is P.C.Reddy from Hyderabad & my customer ID is [protected] and Mobile no. is [protected]. I have purchase a Hindustan Uniliver Pureit on 24/9/2008. As per the instructions manual the life of the battery should be 1500 liters of "as save as boiled water" and it will be indicated by the Battery life indicator. We normally consume 15 liters of water daily. We noticed tha even after a period of 4-1/2 of months there was no ibdiation at the Battery life indicator and called your call center on [protected] and complined in the first week of February 2009. We were informed that the issue will be resolved by sending the technitian within 24 hours. To our surpise no body came untill[protected] the last day of warranty period. On[protected] one of your technitian attended the machine and informed that the Battery life indicator got stuck due to manufacturing defect and will be replaced on payment of about Rs. 550/- including the water filter. We I questioned him that the defective part should be replaced he refused to replace the defective part including the battery on the ground that the warranty period was over and demanded about Rs. 550/- towards cost for the battery and filter. On refusal to the amount demanded he even did not fix the opened unit properly and the water from top chabmer is not getting into the next chamber. The present status is the unit is lying unused as a show piece. Since I have informed your customer care much before the warranty period I am entitled for free repalcement of the defective part along with the battery.Hence kindly replace the defective part and the battery immediately. Otherwise I shall publish all the details in my city that can damage your companies reputation and good will. In addition I will move to consumer forum for redressal.

                    I had ordered for a battery replacement for the purit water filter on 20th April, 2009 vide docket no.S09HRH[protected] and till date I have not received any replacement.                     Because the product itself is not good.
                    The BATTARRY as they so call with AUTO SWITCH OFF is not a battery (nothing electronics associated) at all.
                    The WHITE portion as you see from out side, as the company climbs the battery indicator is nothing but a "WHITE CHEMICAL TABULATE " which is water soluble and the red portion is a red colored plastic below the tabulate.
                    When the water passes through the WHITE CHEMICAL TABULATE (battery as the company says) it gets dissolved in water and the red plastic to hold the WHITE CHEMICAL TABULATE comes up, it’s the indicator showing to replace the battery.
                    Moreover the battery as they say has been so trickily designed that when the WHITE CHEMICAL TABULATE dissolves completely and the red portion comes up fully, a VALVE or STOPPER is there it stops water from entering the bottom container (tank with tap). And water from the upper container passing through the battery OVER FLOWS through the indicator which is red in color.
                    So we can’t use the filter any more as all the water gets drained through the indicator,
                    So the only option is to change the battery which is very expansive.
                    I have sent the samples to the laboratory to know the contents inside the "WHITE CHEMICAL TABULATE” which is inside the so called battery.
                    As soon as the reports come regarding the contents of the "WHITE CHEMICAL TABULATE” I will let you know the same.
                    If any one volunteers to test it and know the content PLEASE DO POST IT ON THIS FORUM.

                    When you are not able to provide services in peplacing the batter kit, i sincerely request the company to stop producing the product.
                    pureit is working good. But one can enjoy the product till the firsr bettery gets exhausted.After that the company is not giving response to replace the battery kit.so, next step after using first batters is to through the product into dust bins. dust bin is the suitable place for it.
                    The company's response is very good in giving demo and make the people to purchase the product. It will happen even within hours of making a call.But if one asks for battery replacement, i doubt atleast they will respond to the complaint atleast within three months.
                    i recommend people not to buy the product as people will unnecessarily fall into health risks.

                    The said customer as referred above is my ailing father aged about 70yrs. To my utter distraction this is to bring to your kind notice that we have purchased your product " pureit" through SWZ, Jitender Trading Company, Flat No. B2, 12 Narendra Nagar, B.T. Road, P.O.                     Since then we have changed and or replaced the battery/device as mentioned in the subject of complaint according to your instruction as and when required by calling your pureit Helpline - [protected] whereas the said battery is not available in the open market which is absolutely under your control.
                    But, this time we have had experienced to our extreme bitterness of rude-demeanour and the useless chat of marketing of a new battery of your company using my father's call to your said Helpline on[protected] which you didn't provide toll free.
                    In as much as, for the last one week my father made several calls requesting the booking no. for the required battery and tentative date of installation. But your Helpline Call Attendants were very much reluctant to comply the request of my father an ailing senior citizen, even considering the utility and exigency of the device for the purpose of healthcare.
                    Further, I would request you to keep it in the mind that your company is obligated to the owners of the pureit in supplying the said battery on payment of scheduled price since it is under your absolute control.
                    In view of the above, this unbusinesslike, unmannered behaviour and gross non-co-operation is a blatant violation of natural justice which is most unbecomming on the part of a renowned multinational company like yours and we took serious exception to it.
                    Though your call attendants both male and female are in the habit o[censored]nrevealed their names to the customers, but one of them has disclosed her name as Arpita Banerjee during the period of constant calling of my father as mentioned before.
                    Ultimately being vexed on the disregard to my father I am constrained to lodge this complaint with the hope that your due consideration will redress my genuine grivance.

Repeatedly submitting complain overy telephone but unfortunately till date no action has yet taken . As a result I have been suffering from dysentery also having heart desease. I am 72 years old. Now i have shifted to kattuppakkam, chennai. I again called pureit for change of battery kit. they till had not provided it. this is very worst service. they r having my mobile number but still r telling that they had noted my address wrongly. they r not calling me and if i call them they r stating reasons like no profit for them and its not me who attended my call. is this the way one of the good company's service to be? please take necessary action.

Actully we are getting fraud from this company, now we are understand what was the status of company, after this we are not bought any product of Hindustan Unilever.                     Hindustan Unilever — Battery change Complaint pending

                    Dear all,
                    I had purchased Hindustan unilever's Pureit water filter in 2008 (Cust. ID-[protected]), we have had 1 battery change since then.
                    On 18th june 2009 I had lodged a complaint regarding the change to their complaint no. [protected].
                    Since then I had called to them at least 10-12 times for a meager change.
                    A Multinational company Like 'Hindustan Unilever' shouldn't boast off their services, if they have such a poor service network & only sing their product on Silver screens.
                    I would never recommend of this product to anybody even if its a low price product.
                    I hope there would be somebody who could resolve this small (yet so essential problem, as its related to drinking water) problem of mine.

                      Sir,

                      I have been using Pureit water purifier for quite sometime and used to change the battery kit as and when required. Normally once I change the battery kit, i used to draw around 2300 litres of water ( as per HUL's gurantee.

                      I have replaced the battery kit 2 months back by paying Rs.550/- to the HUL agent and got it fixed. To my surprise, the filtering unit is blocked and I am not getting any water. I have informed HUL rep and they yet to attend. This is first time i am experiencing this problem.

                      I shall be glad, if HUL advise their franchese in Nilgrist district, Tamilnadu to replace or rectify the battery unit at the earliest. Their prompt response and service will definitely improve their business.

                                I had asked for germ kit replacment and had called the service centre about 30 times and still they have not given me the battrey replacment till now. I had also asked them to replace the tap as it had broken but the service is pathetic. My Pureit is now a showcase item lying unused for 5 mnts waiting for the service.

                                If the service of replacement of germkit battery is so tardy I wonder why they have entered it into such a venture . Instead of purifying water they are adding agony to the customer minds.

                                      I have bought Autofill purifier in Feb'11. It worked without any problem upto completion of battery. In end May’11 the Germkill kit has been changed and within 10 days the problem started. The purification has got stopped and water was coming out. I lodged a complaint. Your service personnel came and taught us how clean the charcoal ball. Since then I am facing severe problem with this charcoal ball. Please note that the quality of water is same (tap water from Kolkata Corporation) as what we used in Feb-May’11. Around 15 days back I have again called your service personnel and he had to admit that the charcoal ball is defective. Now the time gap has been reduced and in every 3-4 days the same jamming problem is occurring. I am sick & tired with this device and had it been known to me before I would not have purchased this filter. I am sure that the quality of the original one and this new Germkill kit is different and it is not expected from a reputed company like Hindustan Lever. This defective charcoal ball should be replaced immediately I have lodged complaint in Pureit website and got no response as of date.
