My purit auto fill water filter has been over flowing as the float is not working. The complaint for the same has been lodged through the toll free number last month. The same has been acknowledged by the local service center but no assistance was forthcoming and no spares are available with the service centre.

    my complain no C[protected] registered with pureit has not been attended since 06 Jan 2011.whereas company is promising customer service with 24 hrs. their response toward the complain is not at all satisfactory. this is not my first experiance with this company earlier also i had logged a complain of water leakage that was solved after 06-07 days by calling time an again.this time also i have called their customer service center more that 10-15 times and talked with their senior executives but still i have not been provided service.i feel they are insulting the customers right.
    please do the needful help.

      I had bought a 3 Unit Pureit water filter from HUL nearly a 8months back (Rajesh Adhikari Indore). Needless to say, i trusted the HUL brand while buying this product. The battery did not work as per their expected duration. One of them Within 15 days o[censored]se it got expired.

      After that repeated complaints to the company for replacing the battery has fallen on deaf ears.
      All calls to their helpline always resulted in the same answer, we are sorry for the inconvenience and we would assure you of the best service. I have registered three four complaints with them for the same. I my last order details are S11/GWL[protected].have tried to reach their senior management with mails; I am extremely disappointed that HUL is stooping to such lows. Whom can we trust if such big brands like HUL do not operate responsibly?
      Their manual itself claims that they will replace defective parts supplied by them. However, I am extremely sorry to say that even HUL makes false promises.We is talking about drinking water here. One of the worst services i have seen in my life.
      Kindly resolve matter as soon as possible i[censored] are able do .

            I HAVE PURCHASE PUREIT COMPACT ON 23/12/2010 AT IN BETWEEN 19:30 T0 19:45, AND I HAD LAUNCH A COMPLAINT ON 24/12/2010 TO PUREIT CUSTOMER HELPLINE NO. AND AFTER SEVERAL TIME, BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE.
            AFTER THAT I COMPLAIN TO FROM I PURCHASE THAT DEVICE, SERVICE EXECUTIVE WILL COME (SEVERAL TIMES) BUT THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT IN THAT DEVICE. AT LAST I WROTE A LETTER TO HLL PUREIT SERVICES FOR REPLACEMENT OF THAT DEVICE ON 04/01/2011.

            BUT THEY TOLD ME THAT WE ARE NOT REPLACE THIS DEVICE, WE CAN REPAIR THIS DEVICE ONLY.

            FROM DAY ONE THAT PROBLEM PERSIST.

              my parents are residing at trivandrum . the water purifier from pure it got some complaint .they called customer care several times.but they dosent respond.my old parents have to drink impure water for near about one month .after words they came and repaired it .although they told that its a free service they collected money frm my parents .iam at hyderabad . customer id no is [protected] .name of customer is p r pillai. internal id no is 22837874. invoice date is 2-6 -2010.hence mthe service of pure it officials in trivandrum is very very poor

                Sir,

                Sub: - Unattended complaint of Purit Water Filter.

                I purchased a Purit Water Filter about 2 years back and have been using it without any complaint. It is out of warranty now. I started facing some problems since December 2010 and I had contacted their Customer Support on 19th December 2010 to register the complaint. Till today, the complaint has neither been rectified nor have I received any follow up on this regard. I also had left the following letter on their web site complaint log. For this also I am yet to receive any reply and hence this letter to you.

                All I want is for them to repair my complaint and show a little more responsibility towards their consumers.

                The following is the letter I had posted on their web site complaint log on the 28th December 2010.

                “I had called in on 19th Dec 2010 to your toll free no. to report that water was not flowing down from the activated carbon chamber of my water filter. After verifying my phone no and address and after I had explained the complaint, just as we were closing the call, the call got disconnected. Since the lady had all the information, I expected her to register the complaint.

                Since nothing happened, on 21/12/2010, I again called up and explained the situation and also mentioned about my earlier call. This time I did get a complaint response no through SMS - C[protected] and she promised me that the complaint will be attended to the very same day.

                Again on 23rd Dec 2010 I called again to enquire about the complaint and after verifying the complaint no. the lady who attended the call this time promised immediate action since the next day was Christmas.

                On 26/12/2010 I again had to call customer care since nothing had happened and after profusely apologizing, the lady who attended the call now, re-registered the complaint and I got yet another no. C[protected]. Till now, nothing has happened.

                This is not the service or the lack of it that I expect from a company that has a worldwide reputation of customer satisfaction. If my complaint is not attended to within 24 hours, please be informed that I will be forced to contact the consumer forum.”

                I would appreciate any help that the forum can give me.

                  This is to inform you that before PURIT was launched in bangalore I had purchased from chennai and using but I am very much unhappy with service because every time when I order for a battery kit I have to remind them at least 7,8 times in spite of that it will not be delivered properly, this time it went from bad to worst ie so called executive Mr.Sreenivas who is representing M/S Rushabh Distributor basaveshwar Nagar Bangalore has broken the battery Indicator fixing upper part of the tank and the Indicator cover while replacing the battery and made the purit useless when asked him about the same he assured me that the same will be replaced in a week time without any charges (because it was his negligence) and given me in writing, but in spite of my several reminders to him and his team leader Mr.Anand there is no proper response from them and always his mobile will be switched off in the recent past only once I could speak to them but their response was very vague and they were adomant,every time when I place the order for battery kit it will be delivered by different person and nobody is bothered to address my complaint, now my purit has become useless, and through the broken area cockroaches are getting into the lower part where purified water is stored and which will not be in a usable condition, hence you are requested to give immediate attention to this and resolve the problem on a priority otherwise I will be forced to proceed legally and get this issue resolved through consumer forum. I still believe strongly that HUL will not ignore its consumer’s complaint and allow them to approach consumer’s complaint forum
                  and get the problem resolved.

                      Hindustan Unilever/Pureit marvella — leakage of water

                      Hello Sir,

                      i have purchaged pureit marvala in end of last year. from the first day it has a problem of water leakage. we have called to that technition person who fitted the marvala in my house at a time but he said, he'll come tomorrow.it was happned so many times that we have called that person and he wasn't come. after that for some personal reasons we couldn't call or couldn't do any complain regarding it. before one month we have complained again but no body replied,then before 2 days i have send a mail to the company and then they called me today. they have said that, we have to pay something to get it repaire then i said it is in warrenty period and it was the initial problem of the product from the first day when we purchase. please do the helpfull for us. my contact no. is +91- [protected] or [protected]

                          My Name is Aditi Thakre we had purchased a water purifier Pure it marvel la form Hundustan liver on 25th August 2010. It worked very well till the month of december , however suddenly the Germ Kill battery is not functioning and the water is leaking from the safety walt. I had called the call center twice 1st on the 20th Dec complaint no[protected] no one came from the company to check what the problem is in the device and i got an sms stating the problem has been attended. I again called the service center toll free no and spoke to agent Ms Ashwini i told her that the germ kill kit has not turned Red and still the water is leaking she gave me another complaint no on the 23rd of Dec 2010 ( Complaint no[protected] and assured me that the service engineer will attend my complaint within one day however no one came again and i got the same sms again that my complaint has been resolved.

                          This is very frustrating and to us as we never accepted such a Degrading service from a responsible company like Hindustan Unilever. I need my complaint to be resolved as soon as possible considering my product is just 3 months old

                            Hello,

                            I have bought Pure it from Star bazar thane in Month of Sep, however the unit started leaking very badly in December itself. When I launched a complaint on the call center, they informed that we need to change the battery. We requested then to tell the places whee we can find the same and he also booked one customer executive to come and visit our place.
                            However at none of the places the places the battery is available and the customer service guy came without informing at odd afternoon hours and argued with the servant as well with me on the phone and said to let in. Our maid got scared with his rude behavior and not allowed him in for any inspection.
                            Post that I have been again following up with the customer service for Battery but not getting any response. The customer service does not send home the battery for 10 ltrs and they are un-necessarily delaying the matter from 25 days.
                            And now the 10 ltr unit is not even available in leading stores

                            I also bought Pureit from Vijay Sales Thane. After usage of around 2-3 months I face problem with water filter. When I contact vijay sales, they told me to contact Pureit customer care. I tried to contact them on [protected] for purchasing the grem kit but the process was sluggish. At last I loss hope and waste time on it & now fortunately now I have move to Aquasure which service and parts are not intangible like Pureit.

                              sub: Complaint against inefficient service.

                              I have using the water purifier for past three yrs. Till now there is no complaint in it and serves its need well. The service provided by your technicians are upto satisfaction.

                              As regular I have ordered the pureit Battery on 14.12.2010 and the order no is S10/CHN1675. The battery was delivered by the regular Pureit technician on 16.12.2010 around 3 pm. The payment Rs. 365/- was done to the technician by mode of cash. When requested for the bill the reply given by him is “NO BILL”

                              When I opened the box to install the battery in the machine the battery indicated as used and it was half red.

                              On the same day (16.12.2010) at 5. 35 I called the customer care number and infromed the same and registered a complaint for change of battery, bill. The complaint was taken by the customer care executive and the complaint number given to me is C[protected]. Again to confirm the same I called CC number and checked the same complaint was confirmed to me.

                              On 17.12.2010 the complaint is not rectified, On enquiring on 18.12.2010 at 6.53 am the reply given to me the status of complaint is open and it will be rectified with in 24 hrs.

                              The third day On 19.12.2010 even 4.29 pm I called the customer care and equired the status . The Executive apologised for the inconvenience and again he assured for again 24hrs.

                              Till now (20.12.2010 even) nobody as turned up and the machine is functioning under the Old battery.

                              Kindly arrage for the new battery with bill as early as possible as the complaint is being dragging for nearly 5 days.

                              Don’t consider this mail as a complaint but make solution for this problem as earliest.

                                Sir,

                                I have ordered two water purifier of Hindustan Uniliver Ltd., (Rs.2900/- each auto filled model)) one for my colleague and one as gift for my sister. On 12.12.2010 an executive installed at my sister's place in my absence. On next day i went to my sister's home and i saw that purifier is incomplete and defected unit as there was no clips who join both the chambers, indicator was not there, one filter was missing and there is gap between two chambers from that gap any insects/fly/cockroach etc. can enter into the purifier easily.

                                On next days i.e. 13.12.2010 I contacted the person (Mr. Budhi Singh) who installed the same when I pointed out that this is a defected and incomplete piece and he at first instance these are not with the unit as this not a part of purifier, I again asked him to check one new piece or broacher and than tell me after five minutes talk at last he accepted about the missing parts. I asked his senior Mr. Parveen, he told me I will replace the unit and call you on tomorrow but he did not call me rather not answered on my repeated call. A person came on next day in my absence after my repeated request to come in my presence, he then place only two clips instead of three and again denied about the manufacturing fault and about indicator. I called on the Toll free customer care phone no. than a person namely Mr. Feroz contacted me and asked about all the things and I told him to replace the unit instead of repair or partly completion. Now almost 8 days have lapsed but nothing has been done from company side neither from dealer/distributor side instead of two three phone useless calls.

                                Now please tell me should I go to some higher authorities of the company if they are able to listen my and about the company’s product and service or should I go for some legal opinion. You can well imagine after 8 days of harassment and totally not satisfactory service how the customer think about the company. This market is buyer market not a seller market.

                                Hindustan pureit water purifier — extra charge and incomplete service

                                a prit expert came for the battery dilivery after the order was placed 3 months a go..and then on top of it he charged 560 instead of 510..did not fit the kit and went away

                                  Hi Team,

                                  I have been using PureIT water purifier for about a year now, and the customer care officer did not visit my place after making 2 complaints regarding the water purification.

                                  Why make such promises about 1 crore money back guarantee?? If so, then give me the money back or else resolve my problem!!!

                                  I am facing issues with the water storage unit where there is a green mossy kindof layer formed at the bottom, and even after cleaning the purifier every 15 days, it still shows back!

                                  This is totally unacceptable, and I need this resolved ASAP, or else I have to escalate it even to a higher level and claim the money back.

                                  Please look into it ASAP.

                                      i have baught the pure it from hindustan unilever, and having the algae problem since 6 months, 4 times i loged the complaint , they came and clear the same and promised that now it will not happen, but still the problem is on, now they are asking for service charge and say that i can do complaint where ever i want to do, but they will not come without paying service charge, actually the product is faulty but they are also not ready tio change it, [protected] is the cel number from where i received the call and they asked for service charge, i think the pruduct is not safe for family

                                        1) we are a nuclear family consisting of three members and had got above mentioned water filter fitted in august 2010 with the assurance that the battery had a capacity to filter 2250 liters of water . However we were surprised when the water filter started leaking in NOVEMBER and we were informed that the leakage was due to the battery which had expired. On contacting the office about the battery prematurely expiring I was told that this could be due to high temperature above 24C . We were not made aware of this by the sales person and when I told this to the senior executive I was rudely told that I should have read the manual before buying the product.And, we were not shown the manual before the purchase of the water purifier.Accordingly, on being told that we did not filter/consume the above mentioned filtering capacity, the executive again rudely retorted back, not ready to accept our version.
                                        2) Secondly, the above mentioned company promises service within 48 hours of lodging the complaint but, they did not adhere to it.
