Sub: - Unattended complaint of Purit Water Filter.
I purchased a Purit Water Filter about 2 years back and have been using it without any complaint. It is out of warranty now. I started facing some problems since December 2010 and I had contacted their Customer Support on 19th December 2010 to register the complaint. Till today, the complaint has neither been rectified nor have I received any follow up on this regard. I also had left the following letter on their web site complaint log. For this also I am yet to receive any reply and hence this letter to you.
All I want is for them to repair my complaint and show a little more responsibility towards their consumers.
The following is the letter I had posted on their web site complaint log on the 28th December 2010.
“I had called in on 19th Dec 2010 to your toll free no. to report that water was not flowing down from the activated carbon chamber of my water filter. After verifying my phone no and address and after I had explained the complaint, just as we were closing the call, the call got disconnected. Since the lady had all the information, I expected her to register the complaint.
Since nothing happened, on 21/12/2010, I again called up and explained the situation and also mentioned about my earlier call. This time I did get a complaint response no through SMS - C[protected] and she promised me that the complaint will be attended to the very same day.
Again on 23rd Dec 2010 I called again to enquire about the complaint and after verifying the complaint no. the lady who attended the call this time promised immediate action since the next day was Christmas.
On 26/12/2010 I again had to call customer care since nothing had happened and after profusely apologizing, the lady who attended the call now, re-registered the complaint and I got yet another no. C[protected]. Till now, nothing has happened.
This is not the service or the lack of it that I expect from a company that has a worldwide reputation of customer satisfaction. If my complaint is not attended to within 24 hours, please be informed that I will be forced to contact the consumer forum.”
I would appreciate any help that the forum can give me.
