pureit compact — POOR SERVICE

Dear Sir,
My name is Aneesa Ansari & my complaint no is C[protected], I had given request for faulty battery on 4/10/2011 But still there is no response in spite of several remainders from me. Every time I call I just get only assurances but no one has turned up so far. I really regret my decision for purchasing the pureit water puriifer. I just have one request please send somebody and take your purefier back as I no longer have the patience to deal with the pureit staff.

    Telephonic — Replacement of Battery Indicator

    Ref to my Telphonic complain reg Water Purifier still not replace the battery set. I have complain on phone so many times. Also complain with Sr. Person Rahul in last month. Alway committed me to solve the problem within 48 hrs but still no step has taken.

        it's very difficult to explain the problems i m facing in words due to non given clearity about my complain submitted for replace the Pure it battery.
        I m regular calling Hindustan Pure it Customer Care for replace the bettery since 14.06.2010 but every time i got the message that the executive will replace the same with 1 or 2 days but not any executive came for it. I m not understanding what is going on actually if you (Hinduatan Pure it) can not provide services to customer than it's better to close you product marketing.

              Sir,

              I am using Pure it for the past 3 years. Recently I came to Visakhapatnam on transfer from Secunderabad. As long as I was at Secunderabad, service in terms of replacing the Germ Kill battery kit was good. But after coming to Visakhapatnam, I am facing lot of problems in getting the kit replaced.

              On 26.7.10, I booked for a Germ Kill battery kit thru your help line. I was told that within 24 hours the battery kit will be replaced and I have been told that it will be costing only Rs.365/- only and I need not have to pay any thing else. Later in the day I have received an SMS on my mobile ([protected]) that my booking has been noted. Subsequently I received another SMS giving details of LSP and in this SMS I have been told that I have to pay an additional Rs.30/- towards installation charges.

              But even after three days the battery kit was not delivered and replaced. Then on 29.7.10 I lodged a complaint thru the pure ithelp line about this and I have been told by the customer service executive that, this time it will be definitely delivered within 24 hours.
              But I am very sorry to say that the battery kit has not so far been replaced even today i.e. 19.8.2010. With these standards of service if the company is trying woo the customers to go for Pure it, then people like will be constrained to launch a campaign against the company telling people how pathetic its post-sale service is duly explaining the callous attitude of the sales and customer care executives of Pure it.

              For everybody 24 hours means only 24 hours, but may be pure it I think it is different.

              I am at chennai, I have booked purit battery replacement on 24.11.2010
              for which i got an acknowledgment through sms and given their ref.as
              S10/CHN[protected] till 2.12.2010 they have not replaced it.
              But in vein again i phone to them and replied today only we have booked
              for replacement and thereis no reference on 24.11.2010.
              2.12.2010 reference isIS10/CHN[protected]

              Every time they told it will be replace within 24 hrs or 72 hrs but thereis no

                I purchased the Pure it on 15th May and the battery indicator was red on 01st June, I called up the customer care and informed them regarding it and they said that it will be done by tomorrow but nobody turned up. Again I complained and till date the battery is not replaced. Agent calls from Pure It and say, "Madam / Sir we do not have the battery available with us, please buy it from the market." We have not purchased Pure It to keep it as a show piece in our kitchen.

                When you can not provide the services or the battery then what is the point of selling a product.

                Somebody please look in to the matter and solve our problem as soon as possible.

                  Dear Sir, Please refere & register my complaint as end user of Pure it Water purifire unit,This particular unit was purchased from vapi @ 2 year back. It is fix life time cycle service replacement part type unit.During last 2 years we replace 3 to 4 time battery kit to put into the order OR re function o[censored]nit.But after last ( 3 monthe back) replacement of Battery kit our unit output is very abnormal & not in order.It delivers Un Higenic water & bottom part of unit is displays Fine dust particals & rusted patch marks visible from tranparant from outside. Repeatedly I complaint to HUL number but they are fail to take any action on there part/side. Please I requist your body to assist/guide me to reed of this serious problem.In my view Battery may be defective or Service mechanic had done mistake while assembling/replacement.                       I have purchased one Pureit water purifier for the use of my house. Now it is time to replace the battery of the equipment. I have informed the customer care for buying a new battery and booked for it. Then Sms came that their customer service agent will meet us within 72 hrs and give him Rs.365/- only for its cost. After 72 hrs the service agent have contacted me in phone and said that I have to pay Rs.100/- as service charge along with the cost of the battery. I have denied and informed to customer care about this.But their answer was not satisfactory. Now the product is kept useless

                        I had ordered (Order No. S10/SUR[protected]) for the battery kit for my water purifier on Tuesday i.e. 10 th of August 2010 but it is still not delivered even after 5 days i.e.Saturday (14 August 2010). A maximum of 48 hrs is specified. I made repeated calls to the helpline on tuesday, wednesday,friday though they registered complaints (complaint No- C[protected], C[protected] still there is no response.
                        This is really ridiculous for a company that is considered to be very prompt world over have worst after sales service like this. I think it was my great mistake to purchase Pure It.

                          I had registered a complaint regarding the problem with the "compact carbon filter" of the new purerit compact that i had purchased on 2 June 2011. The complaint number is C[protected]

                          On 3rd I received a message with the address which was wrong and called up your customer care to get it rectified. In fact the persons attending the calls seem to be quite ill trained.

                          Till today afternoon we were not approached by anyone related to service, I had a talk with the retailer M/s Sampoorna Supermarkets who in turn talked to someone who is supposed to be the team leader, I had a talk with him and he promised me that it will be replaced by afternoon. His phone number was [protected], I had sent my complete address including a very prominent landmark of the area to him by sms too.

                          Late afternoon I received a call from a number [protected] asking me the landmark and wanted to attend the call on Monday, and then informed me that he is coming to check the leakage problem, I told him that it is not a leakage but a manufacturing defect of the carbon filter and it has to be replaced then he said that he does not have in stock, after a lot of persistence he said that he will try to attend tomorrow.

                          At 9:34 I received a sms from TD-Pureit that they could not locate the address, which I feel is plain disgusting, I feel pureit is taking the consumer for a ride, end of the day it is the consumer that has to suffer for this in competency.

                          I am seriously considering making a complaint against you in the consumer court and sue you for damages for deficiency in service.

                              I booked a HUL Pureit purifying kit and the mesh via the telephone booking service..But currently it has been 1 and half month after the booking was made..there hasnt been any response from them!
                              I contacted the local agents in kollam district of kerala but they never pick up the call. The office is unknown! This is really a big failure in their service! Am stuck with their product.

                              They dump all the complaints made to their customer care centres.
                              They are Fooling around with every one.
                              Even Spares are not supplied...

                                i have purchased pure it water purifier on 21 april 2010, although they guarantees us life of battery of 1500 litres i.e of around 4 to 6 months, it had to be changed after two months because of redness of its indicator.we had it changed on 17 june and surprisingly after 1 month the indicator again shows red sign. we have complained it to the company but there is no satisfactory efforts has been done till now.My complaint no. is C[protected].

                                I purchased the Pure it on 15th May and the battery indicator was red on 01st June, I called up the customer care and informed them regarding it and they said that it will be done by tomorrow but nobody turned up. Again I complained and till date the battery is not replaced. Agent calls from Pure It and say, "Madam / Sir we do not have the battery available with us, please buy it from the market." We have not purchased Pure It to keep it as a show piece in our kitchen.

                                When you can not provide the services or the battery then what is the point of selling a product.

                                Somebody please look in to the matter and solve our problem as soon as possible.

                                  mere jivan ka kharab anubhav hindustan pureit kharid kar hua.[protected] ko eski battery red ho gaye mai es di [protected] par call kiya .24 working hours me battrry mil jane ki bat kahi par aaj tak nahi mila .us din se har roz 2 bar call kar raha hu har bar kahte hai ki sham tak mil jayega.par pata nahi wo sham kab aayega. inlogo ne mujhe mansikroop se dukhi kar diya.

                                  Dear Sir,

                                  At the onset, this is very upsetting to highlight such experience with a brand like Unilever wherein your customer service executives have rendered a ZERO service even after 30 days.


                                  We have bought your product in the month of October 2007 and the first five months were good experience. As promised by your product in very 1500 liter of water used by us we are suppose to change the battery kit.We are three members family to use pureit water . Out of the three two are office going and hence we only consume water once we come back from office at night and the rest is an infant. We have calculated that we consume 6 liter per day and in a month we should need around 180 liter . If I calculate as per my understanding I should buy Pureit NOT BEFORE every EIGHT MONTHS.I hope you will have my purchase details in your system.As per my understanding, I have ordered battery kit in the month of april2008 and July 2008 respectively.

                                  I the month of July I have called up your call center and expressed my dissatisfaction of premature expiry of battery kit, then sales person visited and request us to buy a fresh kit and assured us the the same would be highlighted to higher authority. In good faith I bought the 2nd kit.

                                  In the month of October 2008 we all were out of the house for 28days for long vacation. Once I cameback I found that kit had already been expired.It means this time the same has served us only for 2 months.I have called up help line and helplessly ended the call.


                                  Just for your reference I am referring the call center executive's lackadaisical attitude about the anxiety.
                                  I was connected to a Junior guy and he has reconnected me to Mr Vijendra Singh(supervisor)and I was promised that within 48 hrs my problem would be resolved.After that I had several conversation with him and all the time he has failed to help me in any way other than taking my customer ID. I write to you Evey after 30days of ZERO service from helpline. Most of the time Mr Singh is not eager to take call or I am connected to some other person who asks me to call up once again after some days.I had a talk with another supervisor(Ms Subhra Roy), who has finished her duty after sending a person just to take my battery kit number.

                                  We have faith in the brand Hindustan Unilever which has influenced our decision to buy Pureit. I would like your intervention in this matter and a favourable reply from you soon.
                                  Let me know if I have to send this letter to somebody in your department.

                                  Hindustan Unilever — Pureit Bad Service

                                  I have purchased pure it 2 months ago. The day i purchased the product i was started having issues of low filtration.

                                  After 2 month it stopped filtering the water .I checked their germ kit indicator even it was showing fine(Most of the part was white).

                                  So i registered complaint on 30th june 2011 .Till now I m not getting any service from them.

                                  I m calling the customer care every day but getting the same reply "We will sort out the complaint by today itself"

                                  I have spoken with n number of executive and their supervisors(including Rohit,Ashwin,Amar).

                                  It is really frustrating watching their add of claiming the safety challenge .How you people claim such thing if your product is not getting service for more than 12 days?

                                  I m spending more than 50 bucks each day so till now by far i have spent more than 700 INR buying miniral water. This is how you claim your safety challenge "By asking your customer to spend money buying miniral water."

                                  I have all the recording of your customer care executive promises.

                                  I shall expect strict action by today itself or else i will sue you people.

                                  There were lot of complaint numbers but this is the latest.

                                  i am using Hindustan Unilever water purifier- model- purit compact, after installing new battery kit of Rs. 350.00 , frequently water falls from battery indicator, battery installed on dt 13.09.2011, two times complaint given on customer care service, purit executive came & attended call, but still problem not resolved,

                                  pl. do the needful at the earliest & i would be appreciate if this complaint attending as early as possible as we are valuable customer of Hindustan Unilever co.

                                      Pureit Water Filter — service replacement

                                      Sir,
                                      I had requested for replacement of battery on 30 sep 2009. on [protected]. they promised to replace in 2 days. since then I had been calling and requesting but no action . I requested for the service manager number to raise a complaint . I was given a number of Mr. Madusudanan No. [protected]. to my suprise he never picks up the phone .( effective service manager ) .kindly advice me what i should do with this insrument as i am buying mineral water daily .

                                        With respect to the above subject, I requested to change the batter kit on 19.07.2010 after that I have spoke to call center more than 15 times, till date no one bother to come and change the same.

                                        When I called, each time they promised to send same day or next day. Till now nothing is taken place.

                                        I feel buying this product is good but service of HLL to customers is very bad in this product.

                                        I suggest people to think twice before buying this product. My request with company is when you cant serve to customers please stop selling this product instead off trubling the customers.
