pureit compact — Battery premature expiry

Battery became expaired after 35 days o[censored]sing. Company is offering 750 Litters of water filteration for this product. I have used maximum 100 liters of within this 35 days, as we have only 2 members in my home. Now company is demanding payment for replacement. Please do needful.

    I had purchased Water Purifier- Pure IT almost a year back. There is a germ kit battery needs to be relaced every 3-4 months costing Rs.365/- each. Suddenly they started charging additional charges as installation/ Travelling charges of Rs.30/- along with battery. When enquired, the updates were given that the Area is coming under Outside Service Area. However there is local office of Pure IT available locally not more than 2Km.
    This was never informed/ discussed while purchasing the unit. Every 3 months we have to incurr Rs.395/- (Rs.365+ Rs.30/- as additional charges). This needs to be addressed pl.

    Pureit water purifier — Battery Kit

    I have submit my comlaint on dt. 17.08.09 to customer care and they assure me that your kit has been chanded in 1 working day. But the kit has not been changed yet.
    Despite four complaints since 21st oct.2009 my battery kit has not been replaced .It ts shame on part of corprate giants like HLL.

    Pureit Water Purifier — Replacing battery kit

    I had requested for replacement of battery kit on 17/7/10 at 14.30 hrs was given order no S10/DLI[protected].PUREIT sent message on my mobile that their representative will visit within 72 hours. No body came till 21/7/10. As such another complaint no C[protected] was got recorded from my mobile no [protected] to customer care no [protected]. on 21/7/10. Once again, as usual, their was no response. Therefore, on 23/7/10, I talked to them at phone no. [protected] and senr a message also. The messsage was delivered to them at 11.36 hrs.
    They are interested in selling the product. There is absolutely no after sales service.
    I am 68 and forced to drink unfiltered water during rainy season when quality of municipality supplied water is always bad.

      Your one crore promise/slogan is untrue and is a publicity stunt only. We got changed the kit of your pureit water purifier. Six months have passed of the use of this kit. but it has not turned to red. We are drinking contaminated water.

          Dear All I feel sad to tell you about Hindustan unilever product PURE IT I purchased long year back this water purifier few days back I requested to change my battery kit but after replacing that kit Water we getting have a foul spell and we not able to drink that because of that bad taste and smell not only this the person came to replace that (Mr. Vivek) not provided bill for the same and told after 72 hrs you will receive SMS as your invoice but no SMS I received so far & the person while replacing Kit broke its carbon filter earlier it was placed properly I launched Complaint for the same at pure IT help line but no action taken place so far I don't believe Hindustan unilever such a big brand doing these kind of things to consumer so I would like to share be aware of after sales service of Pure It in your area before purchasing your water purifier

            i purchase purifier from rimpi electroworlds frm[protected].now in this problem of leakege occur in battery i m going to dealer but they says noe u will be charge rs.400 for it but at the time of purchasing they give us warranty of one year.the problem will occur within warranty period so why should we spend money on it.

              I,purchased (from newdelhi,khanpur) a pure it device (RPB[protected])on 10th-Mar-10,but after one/two month i observed that the instrument is not purifying properly,i saw the clhorine particles are flowtting on the top of the water level in the safe water chamber.then i called up the customer care 0n 2nd july they lodge a complain (complain # C[protected] and said that our expert will visit within next 48 hours.from that day i am waiting for their expert.this shows that, what kind of service these people are providing after sale.now i want the reason why complain is not entertained till today.this kind of service is really unexpected from such a reknowned company like HUL.this was my 1st exeperience about this product i.e"PURE IT".now i am waiting for a favourable responce.

                This is regarding a Pure it Complaint.I would like someone from the management their to address it. I have contacted their customer care several time to know the escalation procedure but never got a proper response.
                I ordered a battery on 7th july,2010 and was told that it would take 48 hrs but nobody contacted me. I called the customer care several times to follow up but even they were not able to answer my questions.I received the battery on 17th july morover a wrong kit was sent.
                Finally,the battery was replaced but the water was not getting filtered.I called the cust care to again to get a field tech.Again i was told that it wud take 48 hrs but nobody turned up.I had to call up several times. I spoke to several agents Raghav,Atul,Hussain etc.Even when i asked to speak to supervisor i was always told that the supervisor is busy.When i insisted it took them 15-20mins to transfer the call and most of the times the call was disconnected.
                Finally i got a call today from the tilak nagar centre that they wud be sending a tech.I told them that i am in office and their wud be nobody in the house until 6pm.He said the field tech can come any time.Though i have told the cust-care several times that please send somone in the evening.

                It clearly shows that you guys dont care at all about the customer's time.And i have never seen such a poor cust-service before. When i asked them the manager's name nobody told me and the escalation procedure.

                When u sell any product also care about cust queries after that.

                  Dear Team,

                  I have purchased Hindustan Uni lever Pure It (Autofill) Water purifier on June 2010 from Hindustan Uni Lever agency which in my home town Muzaffarpur (Bihar-842001) near Vishal Studio Tower chowk. I paid 3200/- for that purifier and pure it executive who came to install the purifier told me that ,i will get the receipt/Bill of that amount within 1-2 days.
                  he noted down my address and name also in order to make tha bill. But uptill now he didn't give me the bill of that purifier. As i think if i have purchased any thing then it is my legal right to take the bill of that article for which i paid.
                  I called more than 20 times to that pureit execuitive whose name is SITESH and Contact No is [protected],but every time either he didn't pick the phone or give me baseless excuse.
                  I am not able to understand that why he is not willing to give the bill/receipt.

                    It showed that pureit uses unregistered chemicals to purify water which can cause cancer and many other decises
                    You use the chemical that is used to clean the swimming pool water.

                    Hello Abhijit sir,
                    I had also watched that programme shown on news 24 last month, and i was also very worried not on what it was showing on the channel but on what wrong clips it was showing by the channel for increasing its trp. You cant believe it, on what these news channels are showing these days. They sometimes even claim to find GOD and door to HEAVEN which even scientist cant.
                    Moreover i would like to remind you of that episode, that the channel never used to speak anything against hul pureit, it only showed the pictures of pureit water purifier and that too also not very clearly with pureit name or hul logo. This was only done to increase the viewers intrest on their show. Pureit is under gone through the toughest test use to check the quality of water and is approved by US EPA. It has also been awarded by UNESCO as the best non electric water purifier award.
                    So i would like to tell that, You are not at all required to be worried if you are using pureit water to drink. I can assure you that million of people are using pureit water for drinking and is 100% safe.

                      I have complained about my battery kit problems at customer care helpline on 22/7/2010.They have promised me to resolve it within 24 to 48 hours. Inspite of repeated reminders there is still unsatisfactory response from the company & as such I am facing a lot of problems because of there irresponsible behaviour. i have a child who is 1 year old and he got ill because of drinking tap water instead of filtered water. this had happened just because of them because if they had turned up i time this wouldn't have happened....... so help me regarding this matter as soon as possible. thanking you

                        I have ordered for my pureit kit last month and after giving so many reminders it changed,but some how the candle become red in less then month,and i am just calling to to helpline no body is taking it to serious,after giving reminders one exeutive visited and he said yes this is faulty kit,but for this to changed you have to talk to our area manager,he has given his name and phone no since i am calling Mr ankit garg,but he also passing this complain to another day and now he is not picking up the phone.pls look into the matter and solve it.i have given written complain to your website also but it does not help me.

                                Hindustan Unilever — Wrong Promises and bad service

                                Please send the Email or Contact numbers of the greivance department in hindustan unilever.
                                i am not happy with the service provided to me plus with the product.
                                i had purchased pureit from hindustan unilever dealer in mumbai(jalaram dealers) near dockyard.
                                first the sales guy gave me false promises that the battery of Rs 365 would work for minimum 6 months or 2000 ltrs. where as the baterry got over within 2 months with just utilisation of 1000 ltrs. we are 4 members in the family and daily we use 10 ltrs to drink and cook.
                                secondly when i called help line to come and change i got a call from jalaram after 2 days and when i told him to get baterry of rs 365 he got battery of rs 510 mentioning they do not have baterry of rs 365. so the customer have to buy the costlier one with no option. secondly they were so rude and when i called up the dealer to catch the sales guy manoj([protected]) who is giving false promises to customers some Mr arvind([protected]) pretending to be the complaints incharge also promised me that he will catch hold of manoj and ask him to meet me. but since 5 days they both have their mobile phone off. Manoj is still working with jalaram dealers and is still fooling many customers.
                                i need to escalate the issue higher authorities in hindustan unilever.

                                    This is to bring to your notice that a pureit germkil battery kit and microfiber mesh replacement was ordered by me on 25th of June. Till date the kit has not been received.I am talking to HUL’s customer care executives almost everyday to enquire about the status but they all have just one reply that they are really sorry for the delay and that the kit will be delivered within 48/72 hrs.
                                    Initially they told me it will take 1day/2days to process the request
                                    Then they said that they are having some problem with their field executives and a person will come positively in 3 days. Every time a new complaint number was given and an SMS was sent that the person will come and replace the kit, which appeared very convincing.
                                    After that the excuse was that the complaint is set at top priority/most urgent status, and will be attended by tomorrow.
                                    More so, on 5th of july, I received an SMS that your complaint has been “attended”, which came as a shock to me as no one has come to replace the kit here. I called again at HUL helpline, the customer care executives take my details but after that they disconnect the call.
                                    Then I dropped a long mail to HUL pureit complaint cell and lost all hope of getting the kit replaced. But on 15th, HUL gave a call from Mumbai[protected] that they are sending the kit and it will reach in 3 days.
                                    Am waiting still.......
                                    The cost of innumerous calls is not as pinching as the wait. They should tell once and for all the cause of delay and the time required by them ( 1 month- 2 months) to give a replacement, instead of keeping the customer waiting.

                                    My name is Solomon. I have purchased pure it in the year 2006 at chennai. The product no. RPM[protected]. I have already replaced the battery by ordering the same through my relatives at chennai in 2008. Last year end I have moved out to Bangalore

                                    Now I am very much upset over their so called good customer support system for delivering the kit. I have ordered for the battery kit on 20.6.09 order no. Since I could not get even a telephonic call on 27th I got back to them and they gave the complaint no: C[protected]. Inturn the helpline person informed me that on 29, they will deliver the battery kit.

                                    After waiting for more than 15 days, again I called the helpline and he gave the complaint no: C[protected] and informing that by on 6th definately they will deliver the kit. Now I have waited patiently up to 11th and today I made a call. As usual by sayin "we understand your problem" he registered the complain and gave the complaint No. C[protected]. When I instisted he told that he will be connecting his senior sales executive. Nearly after minute the response came that he is not available in his table.

                                    Frustrated again, just now I made a call again another helpline person repeated the same the meaningless words "we understand your problem" and not given the complaint no.

                                    As a customer I do not know, after buying their product why we have to suffer like this. Even in my first call I told them very clearly that the red indicator is alost full and I need the replacement immediately. He assured but the company fails to complie their responsibility. The irresponsblility and their hypocratical talks like "they are attending immediately" irriate like anything. The after sale service is especially very very very poor in Bangalore.

                                    HUL Pureit — Non-delivery of Germ kill battery

                                    I bought a Pureit Home Water Purifier in about July 2009. Recently the Germ Kill Battery Kit needed replacement and as suggested in the instruction manual we called the helpline number on 15th Sep-09 order for the Kit replacement. We were told it would be delivered in 3 working days. 18th Sep- 2009, we called again to check about the status since we had not received any replacement kit, and we were told that our request would be put on “higher priority” and that someone would deliver the kit by end of day.

                                    We haven’t heard from anyone even as of this morning. So I called their helpline no. ([protected] and the call centre executive very promptly told me that we have the record of your calls but we cannot do anything except put the request in the system. We don’t have any contact with anyone from the company sales or service people. When I asked if she could give a manager’s number she said she doesn’t have one.

                                    I find this entire thing a mockery of customer service.
                                    I bought the product on the assurance that it was being sold by a reputed company like Hindustan Lever and was promised that all the spares and service would be easily available. But like many others my experience has been otherwise.

                                    Not only does this indicate that not enough attention has been paid to the after sales service by Hindustan Lever, it also, in a lot of ways, indicates that the company is only worried about the sales of these products and then leaving the hapless customers to fight for themselves.

                                    I guess we will have to resort to the word of mouth publicity and ask our friends and colleagues to stop buying Pureit (although the product itself is good).

                                    hindustan lever pureit — Non-delivery of Germ Kill kit

                                    Dear Sir/ Madam;

                                    I had placed an order for my Germ Kill kit with Hindustan Lever Pure It helpline. They said it will be delivered in 3 days time. On the fourth day, in the absence of non-delivery, I again called up and said that the said kit has not been delivered. they said that they are re-registering my complaint and in 3 days it will be delivered. Again after three days passed, on the fourth day i called them and they said that no complaint was registered earlier, but we will register it now and in 3 days the kit will be delivered. In all it is a week now and the kit has not been delivered. without the kit it is not possible to run the appliance ans it is the main functioning unit.

                                    Kindly look into the problem and suggest remedies.

                                    Hindustan Lever — poor after sales service

                                    I have purchased a water purifier Called PURE-IT.I have to change battery evry three months.I called several time to the help line number they book my order and always assure that battery will be replaced within 24 working hour, but no body comes to replace the same.
                                    They change their local office without any information to customers.I am surprised recently when I enquired about the address of their local office from help line number,the address which they gave was old address,I informed their help line number that office has been changed from the address which you are providing.
                                    It is cheating that after saling the product they are not taking any interest in providing service for which I am ready to pay the service amount.

To my surprise the product had complaints, such leakage of water from the kit. Now the complaint had been attended by HUL service engineer, saying it can't be solved from his side but would communicate to the dealer & accordingly the dealer would send his service engineer. I'm surprised as to why the company is not taking initiative to solve the problem, instead the customer has to go from one door to another simply to solve the problem. Its companies responsibility to solve the matter rather than customers lookout.

                                    ITS MY ADVISE TO THE COMPANY TO STOP SELLING THE PRODUCT FOOLING THE GOOD FAITH CUSTOMERS. I HOPE SOME POSITIVE RESPONSE SHOULD COME FROM THE COMPANY ITSELF.

A technician from authorized service called me at 7PM & confirmed to deliver battery by 8PM, made me confident that it is a call to give excuse for their failure at later stage.
                                    To our surprise the boy with pureit uniform was present at 7.30PM & fixed the battery to our satisfaction, they delivered service much faster than the promise time, this is possible for the professional organization with strong management.                                     My purit got leaky and registered complaint about a month back(aug 12)and my complaint no is C[protected] and one technician from Saligramam, chennai said spare parts are not available and said will be set right soon.even after 45days or so no person has turned up, very poor service.
