I booked the long life battery replacement kit on 05/10/2009. After that no one visited till 22/10/2009. Calling a number of times they give only new complain number but these were useless, still no one contacted or visited.

More over they used to send message that ur complain no ( C[protected] and C[protected] has been attended if staisfied SMS SER0 or 1. How can one be staisfied or unsatisfied unless and untill one visits.

I think I made a mistake after buying this water purifier.

hindustan unilever/pureit water purifier — significant delay in delivery of battery for water purifier

dear sir,
i had requested for the battery for water purifier on 13.07.09 and got the assurance for the delivery within 2-3 days, but it has been delivered on 21.07.09, after long 8 days, we suffered due to the same. now i want to know the in what ways company's commitment are reliable to us.is their any guidelines are there through which company can be bounded to fulfill its commitments.

i am sherry from china, i have seen your inqiry from internet. you said you need ro machine. we are manufactory.

RO machine of 50-6000GPD water purifier equipment has been widely used in household, villa, food and drink, electron, medicine, electricity, chemistry as well as other fields.

we have a complete work team including R&D dept, purchasing dept, production dept, QC dept and marketing dept and so on, We producing all plastic parts by ourself, such as housing, all kinds fittings, low and high press switch, restruictor, ball valve, clamp, PP and so on, All parts through our strict testing . and have specilized in this line for more than 10 years.

i send you and eager to express our wish to cooperate with you.

i know it is very difficult to find a good suuply, but i know this line, hope some of my suggestion will help in line of reverse osmosis machine!

I booked the long life battery replacement kit on 23/10/2009. After that no one visited till 10/11/2009. Calling a number of times they give only new complain number but these were useless, still no one contacted or visited.

More over they used to send message that ur complain no ( C09167427, C[protected] and C[protected] has been attended if staisfied SMS SER0 or 1. How can one be staisfied or unsatisfied unless and untill one visits.

I think I made a mistake after buying this water purifier.

I had booked a Germkill Battery on July 07, 2010. The order number is S10/DLI[protected]. I was told the delivery would happen in 48 hours, as usual. When it was not delivered, I called up again and lodged a complaint. The complaint No. is C[protected]dated 9 July, 2010). I also placed order for another one- vide order number S10/DLI[protected]dated 9 July 2010). So in all I have ordered for two. Till date not even one has been delivered. Subsequently I inquired about it ten times more and complained as many times. These complaint numbers are: C10242035, C[protected]. Surprisingly after one such conversation I got text message stating your complaint has been attended to and is being closed. It also asked for feedback to which I responded saying I am not satisfied. I don't know what "complaint has been addressed and attended to" mean, as the underlying point in that complaint is non-delivery of the Germkill Battery, which is still due. You may find all my correspondence against my mobile number [protected] in your system. I am surprised at the attitude and level of service provided.

    i purchase Water Purifier from Hindustan Unilever in Jan - 09, it cost Rs. 2000/-, and it needs to chnage battery every after 1500 lit water purification.

    i order battery on 9th Oct 2009, till this date after 5 times follow up i not recd any communication or battery from Hindustan Unilever, when i call on customer care (Not Toll Free) atleast 10 min i have to talk with them and just keep phone with assurance that in 1-2 days i receive battery.

    i got irrited due to this and now i want to lounch complaint againt this company and give back this unit and take my cash, phone call cost as well as irritation cost from company

        Dear Sir,
        I purchased Pure-it water purifier, a product of renowned Company, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. The date of purchase was[protected] and it has a warranty of one year against any sort of complaints. On[protected] we noticed suddenly water leaking from the Battery Kit (an attachment in the Purifier) which the company say needs to be replaced after every 1500 Ltrs of water purification. We are four members in the family and the purifier had only been used for four months after its purchase. How can we consume 1500 ltrs of water in such a short span of time. We made a complaint of the problem with the company on[protected]. The also sent their representative to check the problem, who agreed that the Battery Kit is faulty since 1500 Ltrs of water cannot be consumed within such a short time by a small family, but inspite of that the Company is not agreeing to replace the Battery Kit at free of cost basis although it is in a warranty period.

        These company promises a lot of things before sailing the product to the customers, but after it is sold their attitude totally changes. At this kin of an after sales service is not expected by a Company like Unilever.

        We would therefore request you to look into the matter and take up the matter with the company.

        Dear Sir,

        I have bought the above said filter on 10th of Feburary 2009.. After three months, I have replaced the battery kit for both purits.

        For both batterykit, the delivery person, not yet provide the bill. Also, there is a bleeching powder smell is coming from the purit when we take water. The indicater which will automatically make red, it is looking as two pieces (like broke or damaged)... And now this is a time to change the battery kit again for both filter.

        I have booked the battery kit as well as service complaint on 14th Oct 2009. At the time of booking the customer care people confirmed me that the new type of battery kit (worth Rs.510/- included all charges) will delivered to me with in three working days.

        After several reminders to the call centre, till now I have not received the battery kit for both filter. Now I am unable to using the purit due to water flowing out. I have called every alternate day from the date of booking.

        Could you please confirm, when the battery will replaced to both purits??

          Hi,

          I am a resident of Andhra Pradesh and I have purchased Pure IT water filter 3.5 months back.
          There are problems since day one:
          • The lower chamber had some scratches on it.
          • From the second month onwards the water started turning green. Initially I thought it was a problem with my cleaning during the starting days the algae used to form once in two weeks there after the algae started forming every alternate day which made me curious and I enquired my neighbors if it was the same problem and they told no. So I had raised a complaint for the first time.
          • The customer care person came he cleaned the lower chamber and the tap and he informed me that if the problem arises then he will replace the lower chamber.
          • He charged me Rs.55 for replacing the upper white filter.

          For four days the water was fine and on the fifth day the fungus started forming in the lower chamber. So I had to complaint again and I clearly mentioned in my complaint that the water is turning green and need a replacement.
          Today the customer care person comes to my house and he just sees the device from a distance and says that “The device needs to be replaced”.
          So, he called his manager and informs the same. The manager asked us to wait for ten minutes. After ten minutes he gives me a call and asks me to call the customer care executives again. I stated him that I have already registered a complaint then why should I call them again…..his answer was “there is a difference between Fungus and Algae”.
          He asked me call [protected] and inform them that algae is forming in the base chamber.

          But why should I call you people again and again…………..it’s your responsibility………….it’s not about giving advertisement saying One Core and all that prove it in your device.

          My husband, my kid, and myself all three o[censored]s were suffering from fever because of the water infection. I do also have all my Medical Reports stating the same.
          Once we stopped using Pure It everything was fine.

          If no action is taken then I know how to handle it.

            DEAR SIR,

            I PLACED AN ORDER FOR THE BATTERY LIFE INDICATOR COVER ON 16.09.09 VIDE PUREIT ORDER NO. S09/CBU[protected] FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF THE SAME. I HAVE MADE SEVERAL PHONE CALLS TO THE HELPLINE. DURING ALL MY CONVERSATION THEY WILL ASSURE TO REPLACE THE SAME IMMEDIATELY AND REGISTERED A COMPLAINT VIDE NO HMQ[protected] BUT TILL NOW THE GOODS WAS NOT REPLACED.

            THEY SELLING THE THINGS ON THE FALSE ASSURANCE THAT THEY WILL GIVE PROPER SERVICE IN TIME BUT ONCE THE GOODS WAS SOLD THEY TREATING THE CUSTOMER LIKE DOG AND MAKING US TO BEG BEHIND THEM.

            i registered my complaint on 28th jun

            Complaint- leakage problem
            on 29th again talked to customer care they gave following no again C[protected]
            As on date(12th july 10) there is no response from the company.

            i have a water filter of hindustan unilinver since may 2009 and since 11th of this month i have been continously registering the compalint in the customer care no.of hindustan uniliver the complaint is about the replacement of the tap of the water filter and every time i call i get the same answer that ur complaint is been forwarded to the head office and within 48 hours our executive wud visit u .....and the next time i call the previous records wahses away and new complaint no.gets registeres and so on. previous complaint no. was C[protected] AND TTHEN C[protected] AND THE LATEST ONE IS C[protected] and in between 2-3 more complaints are there but without the complaint nos. so here u r requested to please take the action so that my purpose get done .

              I had purshed the pureit a year ago. Now it has the problem that the water is not filtering porperly.
              we communicated the customer care several times more than 10 times. But there is not response from Hindustan lever side. We are very sorry to see that the representatives of the Hindustan lever are very irresponsible. My mobile no is [protected].

                Dear sir/madam,
                On 11 Oct 09 I complained to pureit helpline for replacement of battery kit(Order no. S-09/DLI 0515/007289) but till date no battery kit is supplied to me. Mean time daily I contacted helpline and every time I was assured that battery kit will be supplied to me. On 13 Oct 09I also contacted Mr. Iqbal who installed the water filter and he gave me mobile no. of one Mr. Sanjay when contacted Mr. Sanjay gave me the mobile no. of one Mr. Rajkumar and when contacted Mr. Rajkumar assured me that the battery will be supplied to me. But till date no battery kit is supplied to me. Can you help me? Thanks.

                  I am residing in Triplicane,Chennai.I bought one New PURE IT water filter last november 2008. I changed the candle twice till date. Actually it is working very good.The problem is for the past 15 days the water is not filtering properly.I tried my level best to clean the dust with the small pump given by you. But in vain it is not working. I have given complaint thrice to the customer care.To my surprise till date no person from your side approached me. I am very unhappy the way you treated the customer.The last person I contacted is Mr.charles on 15.10.09 at 9.45 am.he has assured me that your person will come before 8.00pm
                  today(i.e.16.10.09)to my house.Hope you may give positive reply to this mail and assume you will the send the service man immediatly.

                    I have purchased a pureit on 12/02/2010. My customer Id is [protected]. i am surprised to see that in the bill my name is recorded as Dibyendu Basu instead of Dibyendu Banerjee.I have lodged my complain several times, but still today (24/03/2010) I have not received my correct bill . I am surprised and shocked to know that attitude of the company (pureit) is we don't care, you can do anything, though I told that it is an criminal offence to change a name of person, but their attitude is don't care you can do anything.
                    Also they did not give any service still today though I have lodged complaint. Is their any solution to the above complain or I have to digest this.

                      PATHETIC SERVICES

                      I think that Hindustan Unilever workers have only one work that they just sell the machine and after that they don't bother whether the machine is working or not /PROBLEM RESOLVED OR NOT.
                      I think these branded products company just made their own rules and no body is there to take relevant actions against them.

                      I am a customer of pureit & had buy a pureit the last year dt 20/12/2008 and from the first of the day i was running behind your customer care. and i am really very sorry to say i had a very bad and negative experience with PureIT Customer Support in regards logged a complaint on june-2009 (reference no. C[protected] , on 19.09.2009 (reference no. C[protected] , on 30.09.09 (reference no. C[protected] & on 01.10.2009 (reference no. C[protected] and one is missed by myself which is registered on july-2009. The pureit have water problem ( at the last stage of water getting white type of discharge its look like POND water). After that lots of follow up regularly as i was not getting sensible answers & never find any respose from the customer care regarding the logged REFERENCE NO. and never find why it was happening? As since then I used the same dirty water as i have 2 years of old baby. If i use the same water then why i bought the pureit , its more better i should to used drum water..... with use chlorine....

                      Each and every time customer care given me to visit nearest shop which is located at kalkajji i.e., H-6B, Basement , Main road, kalkaji, deelhi -110019. But the shop wass not there. Now i am running behind the PUREIT and although you dont have any head office we have only option to call dirty customer care.

                      At this time if i didn't get any response and nobody help me out to giving me better solution then file case against PUREIT just because of your valuable & good service. And BECUASE OF YOUR BEST SERVICE WE ALL HAVE STOMACH DISORDER PROBLEM.........& day-by-day problems are raised in place of resolved
                      In all the years I've ever dealt with technical customer service, I would have to say that PUREIT is the worst!

                      Despite repeated reminders, I have not had any response OR any solution from the PUREIT. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

                      At this time, I am very displeased and unsatisfied with PUREIT Support. Though I am upset, I hope we can work together to change that or else pls take back your product (PUREIT) from my home.

                          Hi..
                          We bought HUL Pureit Water Puriefier (Customer ID - [protected]) a year ago. As per the details mentioned for battery renewwal (after 1 year) we called pureit customer care to come and change the battery. We also agreed to pay the amount for batterywhich they have mentioned to us. They gave a complaint no. S09/BLR1774_010301 and also told me within 3 days it will be changed. But its almost 4-5months over still no one came....We trust them and now we are paying for that ..just waiting..? Is this a value of customer's trust? If they can't handle all these queries of customers better stop all these nonsense.

                          HUL/Pure It Water Purifier — Change Of battery

                          I got a call from Delhi HUL official on 12th of january09, they asked me about product, and they also asked me that when i change my batery of device, i replied them, " no i have never change the same, and need to to change. they replied me "company engineer will come with two days to your residence to change the same. but till date no body has visited to solve my problem.

                            On last May I have purchased one pureit water purifier from westbengal kharagpur, just after 5 months i have noticed that the battery reflecting as expired. While registering complain at Pureit call center it was shocking to know that they are not providing any guarantee on the battery during the purchase time but they do provide warranty on a battery if I am going to buy a new one from them. It seeds that pureit is having a very cheep kind of business strategies. Please note my consumer number is [protected].

                              Dear Sir

                              I have logged a complaint with the helpline on 2nd Oct for battery replacment. It is more than 4 days now ( Though they promise for battery replacement within 72 hours). We are without purified water for last 4 days. (The product haus auto shut mode the moment battery is over and you can't use it). I ahve spoken almost 10 times and escalated to floor supervisors (Mr Rajat Gupta.Ms Sarita,Pulkit sharma) and all of them are bunch of irresponsible people with no ownership. They are non responsive .

                              Kindly help me on this so that other customer do not face such challenge

                                I have purchased one Pure-It (Water Filter/purifier) from MATRI ELECTRONICS (HMV), ANDUL NEW MARKET, ANDUL-MOURI, HOWRAH ON 13/4/2009. They have quoted in thier bill the product Sr. No. 2576 and Code No.[protected] at a cost of Rs.2000/-. While purchasing pure-It, Matri Electronics advised me to contact pure-It representative Mr.Samar Ghosh (Mobile No.[protected]), Ramchandrapur, P.S. Sankrail, Howrah for after sales service / battery kit and any other replacements. I have also contacted the M/s Matri Electronics, from whom your product was purchased by me.

                                After 3 months of the purchase, Battery became unworkable. Accordingly Mr. Samar Ghosh was contacted repeatedly for replacement of the battery. But he has not yet visited/made fruitful efforts to replace the battery kit.

                                Kindly take immediate action for replacement of the battery kit. Your assistance is sought for.

                                    I am having a Puerit water filter. The service of the company is too bad. whenever I ask for repalcement of germkill chlorine battery, it takes atlesat 15 days and more than 20 phone calls to replace the same. Moreover, while selling the product the companies representative said that the chlorine battery and other products can be baught seperately, but now they are saying to replace the same along with other two products that are included in the kit, i.e. the compact drum filter and one more spare.

                                    This shows that the company is making people fool while selling the products and later on squezzing out their hard earned money by selling other products along with one product by packing it in form of a kit.

                                    Hence I will request all the people to buy this product with keeping in mind that it will cost you Rs. 350/- minimum per month to maintain it and drink water from it.

                                    Pureit Water Filter — Impure water sediments

                                    Time and again I had been complaining to the Company to look into the problem of dirty sediments settling at the bottom. I am regularly changing the Battery through their service centre.They acclaim that it is 100% safe to use the filtered water and the product is fetching a Rs.1 crore Challenge prize, being widely advertised in TV channels recently.
                                    Will the company wake up atleast now.

                                    Pureit Water Filter — lot of delay for replacing the battery

                                    I called to the Customer care to replace the battery by calling to [protected].
                                    every time they are saying you will get the call from executive and they will replace, but i caleld them around 4 times but there is no response at all.
                                    very bad service, this is not the first time, i am facing this problem 2nd time .
                                    I am an old customer using Pureit.
                                    Recently, the service provider / distributor of Germkill Kit of my area
                                    i.e. Ghatkopar East has supplied me a kit wherein seal of the Battery's pack
                                    was tampered with and half open. Its printed on the plastic cover that the seal
                                    should be intact when delivered, else, do not buy. I tried to inform the delivery
                                    person calling him on his cell but the reply was "aisa chalta hai" "wohi use karo
                                    koi problem nahi hai" When I asked him to replace the same, he replied I can contact
                                    any one and nothing will happen. That is when I had to register a complaint
                                    with call center on the same day i.e. 16.12.2013. Since no one turned up, I
                                    followed up with call center on 18.12.2013. On 19.12.2013 I got an SMS saying my
                                    they could not trace my address so pl call back. They cud trace my address
                                    for all these years incuding on 16.12.2013 (to deliver the kit) but not after I asked
                                    for replacemant. Now I doubt the authenticity of the materials being delivered since
                                    the last kit for 1500 Ltr lasted only three moths when our consumption is harldy 10 Ltr
                                    per day. More so, for last 15 days, water from the top vessel takes 5/6 hours to get
                                    thru the battery and lower chamber. Many carbon particles can be seen on the bottom
                                    of middle vessel when we clean the same. All these lead to guess about Quality of
                                    Kits being distributed / sold.

                                      My customer ID is [protected], using pureit water filter from last 8 month. Usually my Germs Kill Battery runs more than 3 months. I have ordered GKB battery on 24-07-09 and it has changed on 27-07-09.But this time it expire on 05-09-09, means after 1 month and 8 days. This is definitely due to manufacture fault of GKB battery.
                                      I have logged the complaint for replacement of this faulty GKB battery six time details given below,
                                      1st Complain on 09-09-09 complaint no – [protected]
                                      2nd Complain on 16-09-09 complaint no – C[protected]
                                      3rd Complain on 19-09-09 complaint no – C[protected]
                                      4th Complain on 22-09-09 complaint no – C[protected]
                                      5th Complain on 23-09-09 complaint no – C[protected]
                                      6th Complain on 25-09-09 complaint no – C[protected]
                                      But till date nobody is serious in pureit company to resolve this issue. My family is drinking water without filtration due to sleepy behavior of Pureit Company. Now I am feeling I did a mistake to purchase pureit water filter. The reliability and service of this product is very poor and no body in service dept is looking this matter seriously.

                                        I sunil kumar sharma purchased a Unilever Pureit water purifier on 23/07/2009. After this i am realising that this is the biggest mistake done by me and i have lost my 2000 rupees.

                                        First thing i have to say that Customer care is one of the worst employment by the company and the service provider or sales man of the company is cheating the customer by providing wrong and misleading information.

                                        Secondaly at the time of installation they say that the capacity of the battery is 3000 ltrs. and it is actually less then 1500 ltrs. itself.

                                        They say that the upper net and other thing are change which include in Rs.300 and now the cost increase to Rs.510 as well as they have not changed the upper net.

                                        So i request all of the reader please please dont buy this product in future.

                                        I have purchased the pureit last 4 months ago and the person selling the unit told me that the said battery will last nearly 365 days and it will cost you 365/- only that means Re 1/- per day But not this cost me 4 per day The salesman doesnot given me and showed me the pump which was the accessories coming with it.
