I had purchase a WATER PUTREFYING unit PURE-IT under invoice no. RPM [protected]-[protected] from Vidhiya Agrawal Agency, Hindustan Uni-Lever Anency, SHAHJAHANPUR.
That after about 10 months the system stop functioning and I called on help line [protected] who logged the complaint C[protected] and there after until many days no response was received as per the direction of attending my complaint therefore again I logged a 2nd complaint after 20.03.2009 on dated 04.06.2009 complaint no. C[protected] followed by dated 08.07.2009 complaint no. C[protected]. Since the area agent Mobile. no. [protected] was contacted and he says that as on this day today the company head office has not sent the KIT which went unserviceable within few days of it's implantation in my PURE-IT system. It may be noted that since the germ killer kit is a unit sealed and compact and has no visible opening in any site to conform the germ killer substance of it's quantity of consumable material. There by what ever KIT was brought on Payment of 365Rs. and replaced by there serviceman Mr. Santosh Kumar Mobile no.[protected] was implanted by his self. The same KIT worked only for 10 to 15 days and never fulfilled the guarantee as said by the HINDUSTAN UNI_LEVER PRUE-IT product. This KIT was again removed by the Agency's Serviceman and taken back upon my Complaint no. 1 on dated 20.03.2009. Every time I am asking the local agent he is not taking his responsibility into it. And says to Report the matter to Consumer Form. As a consumer I feel very much cheated by these tricks in essential commodity Business Agencies. Now that a considerable time of 5months has passed that this complaint is pending and I have wasted enough time and money in making calls and approaches to the complete gamnet of this company willfully and deliberately playing with the customer and giving falls guarantees of after services to the consumer, I am really helpless and beg the Consumer Forum to take action and let new consumers not suffer and cheated any more. Water is bad every were and hygienically it very much necessary that a filter be implanted before the use. These companies have a very high attraction but after their success if fetching money from the consumer they forget and not attend to after sale services promises to the consumer This practice should at any cost be ceased or else it will form a JUNGLE RAJ where the Consumer Forum is heading for justice and low to the product consuming citizens.
I pray an immediate action be initiated leaving a mark of Honour.

    hello,
    my name is dinesh and my contact no.[protected], bangalore.
    my problem is that i have placed an order for battery kit on 9th of this month and still now i have not received it. i made a complaint on 15th and aswell as on 20st and still now i have not received it.
    this is not the first time happening, when ever i place the order they take around 2 months to deliver.
    this is serious issue and they are spoiling companies reputation.

        I had purchased HLL's PureIt water filter on 23/12/2008. The filter was working fine until 10days back it auto-shut off because the battery kit needs to be replaced in 8months. I had immediately put in a request for new battery kit, the executive at the time of installation had said the the battery kit would be replaced within 3days of registering the request. I have been calling the customer care 3-4times a day ever since and the only response i have recieved everytime has been that they have forwarded the request further and have been giving me the assurance that we should hear from them shortly but still haven't recieved a mere call even.
        The customer care executive cannot connect me to their senior they don't give an direct no. or even the number of the service centre.
        They are very quick in sending in a person to give sales demo and the installation of the system during sale time but the after sales service is a real bad joke.
        I went through several forum & sites and have come across several listing of similar grievances from people all over India and after going through them I seriously regret purchasing this useless filter and why didn't go through these forums before purchase..
        The last resort left for me is to file a complaint in the consumer forum and seek resolution. Probably the consumer forum could stir them into action.

          i have given complant 3 times automatice you close complant without cheaking why !!!
          i have replased battery in july it got dead in september ist week
          i fill once use hole week, i think it have been cheat me by given used battery when i cotacted manjunath pureit manger told me and his no [protected] i was shoked to hear about it

            asked for a refill two weeks ago. I was assured of one immediately after 3 working days. I am still to see any sign of it. The call center is useless. I call them everyday and they repeat the same lines - that it will come by 8pm (the time they close the call center!). Of course, it never comes. Ask for the phone number of the shop that should service our area, and they don't even know it! Pathetic to say the least. While we would expect better responsibility toward consumers, this company appallingly seems to feel neither responsibility or accountability. It is atrocious. One doesn't know where to turn - can't believe its actually a corporate!!

              Sub: Complaint regarding Pure it water purifier

              Respected Sir

              I am having your pure it water purifier since more than one and half year. My customer id is [protected]. I have to change my battery kit after every 4 months. Since last 3 times my germi kill battery indicator is not working properly. I have come to know after one and half month as the level of that white battery doesn’t indicate any change. I made complaint to your call center all the 3 times and after one week your person came and changes that thing. Last time I made complaint in your call center even at delhi but no one can understand my problem. All people ask me to put order for new battery kit. But I have problem only in white indicator which has powder for germs kill. At this time also the same problem arises.

              If every time this happens then there is no mean to keep purifier. My husband got infection thrice and also stomach problem within last two months.

                Dear Sir,

                With due regards, this is to bring to your notice that I, Shilpam Sood House No. M27, F-Block Sector 57, Sushant Lok 2, Gurgaon, 122001, as a customer of Hindustan Unilever has been cheated with its product named PureIT Water Purifier.

                When I called the call center ([protected]) for a demo it was acknowledged the very same day, so I bought the product on 02/08/09 by giving cash payment of Rs. 2000, from their PWE: Mr. Honey, Mobile no.: [protected], [protected]. I have only been given order booking form (RPM [protected]) as a bill and was told that I will get proper bill and Warranty when somebody will visit my place for servicing after 15 days.

                After the very first hour of installation the purifier started to leak so I called Mr. Honey back to look at it. He came back and fixed it, but now it doesn’t filter any water. I’m constantly trying to reach Mr. Honey but both his phones are either switched off or he doesn’t attend to my calls. I have also called up at the call center ([protected]) twice but no action has been taken as yet.

                I feel completely resentful after all this harassment and really wish to get my money back with apologies from the company.

                Looking forward to a timely and appropriate action.

                    I have pure it water filter which I bought last year. The machine has developed some problems for which I called up customer care twice but no one has turned up so far. my mob no is [protected]. you are requested to instruct your engineer to attend the same.

                    I purchased a water purifier of your company last year. No one comes to change the kit and i myself purchases the kit from your krishna nagar dealer situated in east delhi.
                    But know there is some problem in the purifier but after regular complaints no one is coming to attend the complaint. they always says someone will be coming in next two to three days.MY customer id is : [protected].

                    Pureit by Hindustan lever — Poor service

                    I bought a Pureit Water purifier two years back and i had booked a battery kit on 1st Feb 2010. I was told it will be delivered within 2 days. but no body turned up. I recommend not to use pureit because of there poor sevice.

                    You HIndustan Unilever stockist Sai Vyankateshwara Corporation is not provide good service abt the delivery abt the all HUL products. Also the area the relation of the market is nor good .The all sai vyankateshwara corporation the particlular is not good behaviour in market. He always bada relation with all super market.And also the return charges also high 250.
                    I have request to hindustan unilever company to check out the ralation of the all super shoppy with his relation.And also return charges and company to change the distributor .Because in FMCG sector goo relation is always impotrant. This is my complaints

                      Complaint no is C[protected].
                      To whom so ever it may concern

                      I purchased the Pure it in Baroda and after my retirement, I shifted to Jalgaon (Maharashtra)
                      I am regularly using Pure It, but last one month I observed a fungal growth in the instrument and So I Lodged a complaint with local helpline and the complaint no is C[protected].

                      the local fellow, is not capable to handle the complaint and also not giving the proper guidance to whom I should talk to. The instrument is not in used from last 15 days to 1 month and facing difficulty in getting pure water in my age of 60yrs
                      I have communicated so much time to local help line and now fed up.

                      Pure It — fungai..

                      I have seen the development of fungai in the filtered water!!! after n number of call, no one turned up. Still fighting with customer care, not sure what to do?

                        I am Santosh Kumar, and contact no [protected], I haveve booked a Germ Kill Battery on 1st Aug 2009 through helpline no. [protected].they assured me that within 3 days company will deliver the battery to my given address(B-25/C jeewan park, near shiv mandir, janak puri but none of any executive has neither contacted nor came to change the battery. Again I called from 3rd of Aug till today almost daily 2 times regarding my problem to the helpline nos. than every time they assured me that by today your problem will be solved but still problem pursued. Till today no executive has contacted me.


                        so pls do the needfull step which is realy required.

                        I Have purcahse a pureit water purifier from Kapsons Enterprises 3717, Netaji Subhash Marg, Darya Ganj, New Delhi-2 on 3rd of August 2009. when i asked them for bill they say that bill will be made by Hindustan UniLever's Limited and they give it to me after 2 day.

                        when i came home and installed my pureit purifier i found it is leaking near battery indicator.

                        on 4 august i make a complaint on company customer care and complaint no is - C[protected]
                        they asked me that someone visit to my house but no one visit my house though i complaint again on 7 and today 8 of august. they didn't deliver my bill also.
                        sir do something i'm drinking tap water.

                        same probelm to my water purifies after the changiing the the battery lot of my freinds in trivandrum also not getting battery in time. the technicians never turned after changing the battery . Service team also not bothered whether the system working properly or not. it is like like a third rated PIMP canvassing for 80 year old lady after doing makeup telling the age is 18 and beautiful and truthful because customer are in shortage of time this wekness is exploited by these companies. this letter come from deep desp we felt after buying this PUREeeeeeeeeeeIFIER
                        Change of Germ kill battery
                        I am Shraddha Hase From EXCEL GAS & EQUIPMENT PVT.LTD, and contact no[protected], I haveve booked a Germ Kill Battery on 8th Feb 2011 through helpline no. [protected].they assured me that within 1 day company will deliver the battery to my given address(304, Bldg 6, Sector 3,
                        Millennium Business Park,
                        Mahape, Navi Mumbai 400710) but none of any executive has neither contacted nor came to change the battery. Again I called from 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th of Feb till today almost daily 2 times regarding my problem to the helpline nos. than every time they assured me that by today your problem will be solved but still problem pursued. Till today no executive has contacted me.


                        so pls do the needfull step which is realy required.

                        I took pureit purifier Auto fill 4 months ago.It was properly working till the end of the first battery life.I ordered a new battery worth Rs500/-.The new battery worked for only 1 week, and then suddenly the purifier stoped working.I called the customer care toll free no.The representative said that he will come within 48hrs.But he didnt came.Now almost one month is over after my complaint, but yet I got no response from them.
                        I would say that Pure it is one of the worst product I have ever purchased.And the customer care service is also very bad which gives no response.I would advise that not to purchase pure it, its a cheap and worst company.

                          First of all i would like to bring in your knowledge that customer support is so poor i have ever seen of any company. I have been using HUL pureit water filter for the last 6-7 months and there has been some problem with the unit i. e pureit water filter for a long time as per told by your service boy. We have been getting response from your support team that the part i.e.faulty in the unit is not available in the comapny to replace the same. Now you take the unit from my place and refund my money else i have to go to the consumer court for the same.

                            It has been over 10days since we lodged a request to replace the tap. While we were told it would be done in 2 working days, we had a remind them again four days ago. I get a call today saying they do not have stock of the blue tap. The call centre is very well instructed to say "I can understand... and I am sorry for the inconvenience... and I will forward your request...). It is a pity that due to the inefficiency of a company as reputed as HLL, the call centre agent has to face the customers agony. I am told it will be fixed by today evening. I really hope so!!

                              i'm really disappointed with HLL Water Purit it product itself, right from the day we bought it, I had requested for a change in battery for the Purit Water Purifier of HLL i[censored] call up the help line, they say we;'ll send someone by 1 working days, i ve called up 2 times in past 12 days, but no one has turned up, every time u call up, they repeat your address and your number and the complaint registered but no action taken. Can some one help, ..its a utter waste, they still keep advertising in tv and outside Food World outlets..for more customers to fall prey to it...ridiculous. this company appallingly seems to feel neither responsibility or accountability. It is atrocious. One doesn't know where to turn - can't believe its actually a corporate!!
                              I am very angry with HLL. It is very bad.
                              I am one who purchased Purit when it came to the market . The service at the time of introduction was good. Now they have increased the price of the so called battery(there in no electnonic device or current but only clorine) For relacement one have to wait for weeks to gether. The reply given by the Purit show room at Venus, Perambur is too irritating. It is high time to switch over to some other prompt and service oriented water purifiers available in market. HLL had a very bad reputation because of the irresponsible service in dealing with the replacement of the basttery kid.

                                Defective battery kit.yet to be replaced.
                                I am Vishwas Garg. We brought this product when it was launched initially. Customer care of this product is really hopeless. They always say that the complaint has been escalated and it willl be resolved in 2 working days. But the 2 days never comes!

                                I have lodged the complaint regarding faulty battery kit on 17-07-09 on helpline that out of three functions of the pureit one function was not working that is why after the replacement in last october battery didnot indicated it red signal to replace the battery but no response, then I lodged the complaint on website then on 24th july one executive came & took the kit for testing & made a promise that the kit will be replaced free of charged in next two or three days but till the date it is neither replaced nor we get any response from the company (which was supposed to be replaced in 3 working days). I had been constantly in touch with the customer care regarding this. I get nothing other than the false promises made by the executives. This is really pathetic.

                                Now we feel that we made a wrong choice by opting this product.

                                I have logged several calls regarding supply of faulty battery.Duration of your battery is 3 months, be the same a little more or less. We have only three members and the undersigned is spared his time in office i.e. from 8 A.M. in the morning to 10 at night. It has become very tuff to replace the battery within every 3 months, though it was assured from your end at the time of purchase of your product that the battery will be functioning at least 6 months according to number of your family members. Kindly do the needful.

                                I bought a pure it water filter on 8th of July ' 09. Intially it was working fine
                                till 4 months. after wards, I replace a battery kid in the end of Nov' 09
                                and paid Rs. 400/- and above. Now, it was not working properly, after
                                made several complaints. Every time your person came and attend
                                and did some thing, but again same problem. instead of gives drinking
                                water, your pure it filter gives dirty water.
                                Now, We are using mineral water get it from out side, after spent
                                so much of amount with you. I thought this is dective piece.
                                Kindly replace a new machine with good condition.
                                I am very much of dissatisfied about your product and service.

                                yes i agree i have purchased pureit on 18march2010 and within one week it stopped filtering the water i have made four complaints againt it but yet no action is taken i must say its a hopeless product & request people not to buy it even if this is a brand product

                                  I bought a water filter (Hindustan Unilever - Pureit) last year.

                                  Battery of Filter has expried 10 days back. Request for supply of Battery has been submitted on 27/07/09. It was told that the battery kit will be supplied within 2 working days. But till date it has not been supplied.

                                  On 01/08/09 I called again to know the reason for non-delivery. Again It was told the battery kit will be delivered today itself. But no one came..

                                  When I called todays ie. 03/08/09 I was told that the Your order was booked on 01/08/09.

                                  So, kindly look into the matter and do the needful. There is no system for tracking of orders placed. Even they dont give any order / ref no.

                                  The service of Hindustan Unilever is very poor. This has happened second time and the filter can not be used.

                                  I lodged complain on 11.6.08 ( complain no. S08/KOL[protected] regarding replacement of battery & other technical default . Called twice to remind the complain and they assured me on 11.6.08 to serve within 48 hours, but no action yet taken and even they do not entertain customer warmly and do rough behave . I'v become faithless and hope more customers are being cheated by the company .
                                  Lodged several complaints on mobile No.[protected] for replace ment of battery and accessories. Since I am facing a lot of problems to redress my complaints, pleasse do needfull.

                                    sirs, The product was bought in the name of my wife, S Kanthamani, about 2 yrs ago.customer ID no :
                                    [protected].Device ID:RPM[protected]. On 27-07-09 I ordered Batterykit. A service man called on us
                                    on 28-07-09 & changed the bat.kit.& went away, saying that it was ok.After a few hours there was heavy leakage of water from the bottom of main chamber.I reported to the call centre. on 29-07-09 a service
                                    person came & replaced the rubber washer of lid on the polisher & declared that no leakage would be there
                                    thereafter & went away. I again noticed the leakage from same place on 31-07-09. ( 0n 30th & 31st I was busy with Varalakshmi Puja celebration, visiting temples, etc, ) On 01-08-09 I again reported to the callcentre
                                    seeking, their service immediately.I was nonchalantly answered back with the stock-phrase that my complaint would be attended to within ' 24 'hrs.I protested & remonstrated with them that this kind of
                                    routine rule of ' 24 hrs 'could not be applied bureaucratically in this instance as it is an unredressed
                                    continuation complaint since[protected]when bat.kit was replaced. Then they assured me that somebody would call on us positivly that day before 8pm i.e. 01-08-09 & it was re-affirmed by them sevaral times,
                                    even by 7pm.But, nobody has come till now, i.e.6pm.[protected]till this posting !
                                    In most of the other organisations, like banks, if the cutomers' grievance is not solved within a specified
                                    time or at the desk level, the customers are entitled to approach highier authorities, whose address,
                                    tel.no., e-mail address etc. are displayed in booklets, brochures, name boards etc.
                                    Blatantly unfortunately, such an avenue is not available in this much advertised, having calibre &stature of great, gigantic proportions-called HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LTD. !!. The only avenue for customers to ventilate their grievance is CALL CENTRE, who are well trained to talk glibly & sweetly, to escape from their responsibility .
                                    Pl.advise me / suggest to me the ways & means to tackle this vexatious, recurring problem.

                                      I have been using this Purit Water filter manufactured by Hindustan Lever Limited for the past two years and have always had problem in getting them to change the battery or any filter related problems. The HLL service staff is very callous and they do not seem to bother, that after placing the complaint we need to stay at home, the time the service people tell us that they will turn up, as we are working folk. They do not turn up at the said time and this time around they have not bothered to even enquire after repeated reminders about a related problem. I am extremely frustrated and advise the public not to go for Hindustan products as their service is not bad but worst, they do not value your complaint nor your time. Their intention is only to push their products but not take care of them. It is almost a MONTH AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR THEM TO RECTIFY MY FILTER PROBLEM, which they have not done. They don't seem to care for their company's reputation. My request once again to the public is not to buy their Purit products as I do not want every one to suffer the way I did with their callous attitude towards the customers.

                                        I had purchase PureIT on 25th July 2009 evening 7 p.m. On next day morning i had found the problem of leakage. I had complaint for the problem and told the sales man to replace the unit. But the sales person open the unit and tight the Polisher cap and fix the unit. After that the leakage problem solved but other problem found about Fitting of the Transperent Water storage unit. It is not fit properly. I had complaint daily to change the unit or solve the problem. But no one can handle the problem. Only get message that we had not time because of net Complaint. I want replacement of against these unit. Other wise i am complaint in consumer forum against the HLL.

                                        I had Complaint daily to Sales manager Mr. Johnson but it not solved till date

                                        HUL Pureit — LEAKAGE OF WATER

                                        I have a pureit supplied by HLL. Recently on Monday i.e. on 5.7.2010, i noticed leakage of water from the bottom most unit of the pureit. On 6.7.2010, a complaint was made to the customer care number and it was assured by the call centre executive that their technician would visit within 24 hours to rectify the problem and that we were required to pay Rs.50/- which was agreed to. On 7.7.2010, a person did visit our house to see the problem. On checking the unit, he said that a washer is required to be changed and that the same is not readily available with him. He assured that he would come the next day to replace the same. On 8.7.2010, to our dismay, the person did not visit. So on 8.7.2010, another complaint was made to the customer care. The call centre executive taken another complaint and assured that their technician would come and solve the problem within 24 hours. But no one turned up on 9.7.2010. Again today i.e. on 10.7.2010 I contacted the customer care and my call was attended by one Mr.syed. He again said that he has taken the complaint and within Monday i.e. 12.7.10 evening their technician would come. For replacement of a small washer that too after having complaint about the leakage, the company is taking a time of about one week. With the way their technical service as mentioned above, I am afraid whether on Monday they would come or not.

                                        Can the Forum initiate some stern action against the company.
