Dear Sir,
I bought a Pureit water purifier on the year 2008 for my homely use. I am staying in a Police Quarters just 100 meters far from the Pureit Sales and Service Center, Asramom, Kollam. I am fully satisfied with your product. After buying the product, I advised my relatives and friends to by the product and many of them are using the product. But unfortunately the real bitter thing happened while I need a service to the same product. The tap of the product was damaged and I directly informed the matter to your office at Asramom on 20th August 2009 for replacing the tap. They wrote my address and mobile number and assured me to replace the same on the same day evening or on the next day. But they did not come or replace the same. After a week I again came to the same office and enquired about the tap. They again promised to replace the same on the next day itself. But it also was an unfaithful promise. After that several times (6 or 7 times) I went to that office and enquired about the same and they replied the tap was ordered and yet to be get. The tap was not replaced till the date and the water purifier was not in a condition to use for the last 45 days. I was totally disappointed about your service. This type of service will lead to tarnish the product image. Hence I request you to take speedy actions to recover this type of pathetic services.

        Hindustan Unilever is claiming that the Pure It device will auto switch off the filtering function. When it comes to reality the function is not working in the devices they manufacture. My customer ID is [protected], I purchased the device in the month of Feb-09. Last time when the battery was exausted, I ordered a battery, after repeated complaints they changed the battery after 8 days. When I asked that engineer about auto switch off option. He is simply saying that in some devices it will work and in some devices it will not work. But on device they are displaying that the device is featured with auto switch-off option. When they are not able to make the device with auto switch off option, why they will give so much of advertisement and fool the public.

          Dear Sir,

          I had ordered for a battery replacement for the purit water filter on 14th September, 2009 and till date I have not received any replacement. I have been calling the helpline [protected] every day and I get the assurance of it being delivered everyday, but?? I am really sorry to say that the service is one of the worst and 3rd rated, people handling the service don’t know how to talk nor they know what customer service is.

          I thought HLL would do a better service since it is an Indian brand, but it is killing.

          If you cannot deliver the battery, what is the point in having the water filter? I will be going to the consumer court to claim my money back for the in-efficient service you people have delivered.

          At least you guys should have called me and given me a time frame / delivery date, but every day there is a promise which is never kept.

          I will ensure that none of my friends nor will my employees buy this product.

          1800 Rs is a small price for HLL, but it is hard earned money for the customers.

          So I have strongly decided that I don’t want to use this product.

          So send a guy to my home and take back your product its no use for me & my family.

          Hope you will look in to this and ensure you do not take customers for ride

            Intially I used candle filter. I purchased a pureit three months back. Normally the water supply from local municipality is fresh & clear. So I got clear water from pureit. The difference could not be understood. Last week I changed the accessories of pureit and simultaneously got some dirty water from municipality.
            Surprisingly, I found that the product is unable to clear that water, which is done by local candle filter. I made complain, one representative came to me suugested to add some liquid.
            My complain-
            1) In respect of clearance of dirt pureit is less useful than candle filter which against the declaration by the company.
            2) Why shall I add extra chemical which is not declared by the company and not tested where I don't had to add any chemical in candle filter.

            Water seems to have a lot of black carbon particles.So, it made me feel that pureit is not fulfilling its purpose of purification. Even after passing water through puriet, many particles are visible...

              I Purchased a Pure It device in month of Feb., 2009. I ordered a GKB on 7th Sept., 2009 their order no. 047962, that day I told that my order will be executed in 72 hours and the same message I received by SMS also. On 9th, 11th and 13th Sept I called customer care and informed that I have not received my order. On 14th also i called customer care and informed that I did not received any call or the product. I fed up with the kind of customer care. When they are not able to supply the spares, whey they release the products into market. I request you to instruct the company to take out the pure it unit from my home and pay me the amount what I paid at the time of purchasing.

              Hindustan Unilever's Pure it — Awaiting for the cash receipt

              Dear Sir/ madam,

              On 30th of May'09, we had purchased the purifier (Pure it) and paid the cash( Rs.2000/-) after getting the demo by Mr. Manik Kumar Sen, as committed by him to give the cash receipt on either 1st or 2nd June, 09. When I called up on 4th, he again assured to come in the same evening, but did not turn up.
              Is this kind of behaviour expected from such renowned company.I am really repenting to have bought this purifier.

                I have personaly go to your Ambattur franchasee,(no one can approach} and book the water filter.One of the person his cell no [protected] he is deliver the filter.Then i will contact 10 times but he will not turnedup for demo. Your agency will not responding the customer quires. I have purchase HLL company product,that why i will go there.Look into the matter and do the needful immediatly.

                Pureit Water Filter — No response to the complaint given

                I am a consumer of Pureit Water Filter. My cell number is [protected]. I have lodged a complaint for changing the battery kit and water filter on 2nd Sept 2008 for which the reply was that within 3 days the call will be completed. Since there was no response I once again made a fresh complaint on 6th and was given an assurance that the call would be completed on Monday the 8th.

                Since nobody turned up today the 9th I once again made a complaint, shouted at your staff for not sending the person. I gave them a deadline that by today evening the call should be completed or else I will be forced to take severe action by talking to the superior staff of the company.

                Now I would like to know whether the call will be attended or not or else I will be forced to throw the water filter out and go for a better product.

                  We are three person ( in total ) in my family.
                  We have purchased Pureit water Filter in August - 2008.After working of 9 months,having filtered appox.1,000 ltr. of water the battery expired ( Where as Co. claims that germ kill battery will filter 1,500 ltrs.of water ).
                  Any how, I got replaced the battery in May - 2009, and only after 3 months the battery expired again
                  ( became red in total ) just having filtered appox. 400 ltr. of water.
                  Pl. note there is no change in family structure as well as in the the place where filter installed.
                  It means Co. like HUL is cheating with the customer.
                  Who will bear the cost of Rs. 365/- again and again ( the cost on new battery )?
                  If there is any quality lapse in battery, than Co. should have replase the battery free of cost.
                  I hope the Co. is very reputed and will look into my geniune problem.

                    Thanks, for your prompt response to my complaint. But, I don't feel safe yet to use my Pure It as a simple cleaning, only with the cloth & plain-water, is not just enough to make it safe for my family as it doesn't ensure against further deposition of moss.

                    There is a water leak from through-ing oring.1st complaint on 1st february and next complaint on 2nd february till now no one attend the complaint. The germ kill both filter and battery kit of the said filter became RED and as per your instruction manual that was useless. I have booked a germ kill battery kit on 15/07/2009 with your customer care - [protected]. Then after I have repetedly calling to you Customer Care (Pune) from last around 02 months, but I am only getting response that it will be delivered within 24 hours. I have repeatedly lodged complaint to your end but so far I got nothing. I am really astonished, a brand name like HUL is providing such a worst customer service.

                        BUT THIS TIME YOU ARE FAIL;ED TO MAINTAIN YOUR REPUTATION BECAUSE IMPORTANT THING IN ANY PRODUCT LINE IS SERVICE AFTER SALE.                           I have procured a unit of Hindustan aqua pure at Patna. The customer care no [protected] is one such no which you have to give 100% and try min 7 days to get once and when you ask the company to deliver immediately the company says it will take min 72 hrs. what about the hours which it took to reach the no. Its really cheating in part of the company to sell the product and now give such a poor service.

                                We purchased pure it from Hindustan Uniliver with customer id [protected] after going through their advertisement Blizecrig. The service of these people is very very poor and inspite of several calls they ignore to attend to the customer for replacement of the battery / catridge. They are too much interested in marketing their product for the first time for ~1800 rupees or so. Can any one in their heirarchy responsible for service take this matter seriously and instruct their sercice staff to attend to it immediately. My phone number is[protected].                                       im very disappointed with the customer service of pureit water purifier. its been a week now that we have been regularly asking the service centre to change the battery.. even after repeatedly going to the service centre (80ft road, mahesh nagar, jaipur, Rajasthan) personally there has been no response... the people there always give unrelevant excuses and have been making us suffer for the past 1 week. if still there is no response from their side we will be forced to take another purifier of a better company with better service and we would ask our known ones not to buy this product. hopig there wold an action taken soon against this... hope it doesnt go unnoticed.

                                      I am using pureit water purifier from last six months. I have requested to repalce the battery kit from the last fifteen days and also requested over phone several times. My request no is S08/DLI[protected] and Sl. no. is RPB[protected] which is installed at C-265, STREET NO. 4-A, WEST VINOD NAGAR, DELHI-110092. but till date nobody came to supply and replace the battery kit. I have also requested three months before to clean the apparatus but my request is attended after ten days when several times contacted over phone.                                       Pureit water purifier — VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

                                      We bought pureit water filter 3 years back. I also recommended my parents to buy and they also bought the filter. They were very prompt in delivering the product. But when we complained that there is fault in machine they didnt turn up. My father also call many times but there was no response they attended the complaint after one month only, that too after shouting at them saying that we will go to customer court. They don't show interest in attending the complaints. Even I have called customer care and gave them the complaint but still now there is no response. Being a good organisation we expected more form you. But you very much disappointed us. We didn't expect this poor service from you. Please do take action, otherwise we will take this issue to the customer court. Expecting favourable reply.

                                      i requested on 26-sep-09 for a new battery for my Pureit water purifier by calling pureit helpline [protected]. they gave a 72 hr time for delivery. after 3 weeks- there is no delivery inspite of several reminders from me. they call and tell me that the person is at the junction and he is on the way, so i have taken leave on many days to wait for this this. similar instance happened 3 months ago when i requested a micro-fibre mesh. this reached my home after a month of several reminders. i want to get a refund of my water purifier as i am not able to use it without battery. pls help address the complaint.

                                      Unilever-Pureit water purifier — No response to request

                                      I have been using Pureit water purifier since a year. In the past few months I have called Purelit helpline to request Battery / Micr-fibre mesh. On each of these occasions- i was assured of delivery within 2 days but inspite of several calls on a daily basis, i recieve it after a month of followup. they raise a new request every time i call and pretend that it is a new request. Their outlet is a km away from home but they say that they are unfamiliar with the area and could not find my house which is near the main road. I cannot use the product without the battery or the mesh.When i went to their outlet nearby they coul dnto give me the product as their accountant wa always away.
                                      I am tired of being duped by Pureit and their promises. i want to retrun the purifier and get a refund. This is the third complaint I am making to consumer forum regarding this in the last 4 months. Kindly help solve the problem and ensure taht companies who promise support when they sell their products keep their word. thanks.

                                      What's happening with your company.... Its really shocking. When I tried to call your customer care executive , he uses a sweet English word "I apologize".                                       Unilever/pureit water purifier — Poor Servicing

                                      Pureit servicing is very poor. I have purchased a pureit purifier some four months back. Now it seems I have purchased the headache. The service wing is so horrible that they could not fix the problem and insisted to make a complaint to the company head office. I am contacted the concerned and sent a complaint to the company also, but not received any reply till now. After going through the following article, I have left with no option.

                                      Certain water purifiers like Hindustan Unilever’s Pureit are using TCCA generated chlorine which is not even approved by EPA for long term usage as a primary drinking water disinfectant to purify the water that we drink. EPA has permitted the usage of this chemical to purify water only during disaster relief situations. And while we are at it, we are exposing ourselves and the ones we love most to the risk of bladder and rectal cancers. And we are not alone; there are millions of Indians across the nation drinking such water without knowing the effects of its long term consumption.

                                      Mr. Unilever, will you please clarify? If it is not, will you please look after to improve the services?

                                      Pureit water purifier — Poor customer

                                      On the 27th May, I raised a complaint c[protected] as the PureIT water purifier bought by me in Sept 2010 was leaking. I was informed on the next day a technician would attend to the call. The next day at 7:30am I was informed by the customer service rep that the leakage was probably as the filter and the candle needed to be replaced. The cost would be 285/- + 115/- rupees in addition to the charges of Rs. 50/- for the technician's visit. In the evening around 7pm I called for the 3rd time to remind customer service who assured me that someone would attend to my complaint before 8pm.

                                      Today is the 30th. I reminded customer service again who said they had put in a note that my call would be attended to between 8-11 am. Yet no technician has come. I however received a call from [protected] in the morning asking for my address which I confirmed with him. He told me that someone would attend "before noon". At 3:30pm I again received a call from [protected] informing me that he had mistakenly gone to Thane and therefore could not find my residence. However on each of the calls made earlier to customer service they repeated my address which very clearly stated Khandeshwar. When I spoke to the person (Sagar) on [protected] in the morning again I repeated the address. How and why he went to Thane is beyond me.

                                      The fact that he also told me that since there was no one available my call would not be attended to today.

                                      This type of customer service is totally unacceptable.

                                      I am not sure if my problem will be solved or not or if it will just save me a lot of trouble by throwing this water filter out and procuring one of the many options available in the market today which I am sure give better customer support.

                                        I have purchased Pure it ( reg No.[protected] form Cuttack, Orissa before one year. Now its battery has gone out of order.
                                        I have requested to concerned agency at Badambari, Cuttack for its replacement at least twenty times but they do not here me.
                                        I surprise to know that you are making challenge for getting pure water from pure it on one hand while your agent not responding to our repeated request. I would like to know whwthwer Your machine "Pure IT' can provide pure water without battery? If not then why your agent not listening me? What it is fun of keeping the machine without battery.
                                        Where should I request to get our battery replaced immediately?
                                        If this is not being done i shall have to move to consumer court.
                                        Please do the needful urgently.
