I HAVE PURCHASED ONLINE ONE HAND WATCH SET THROUGH REDIFF SHOP AND GIFTS ON 10/03/2011 AND MY Order number IS 6354868 . I HAVE MADE MY PAYMENTS THROUGH MY UNION BANK OF INDIA BY ONLINE SERVICE. THEY HAVE DEDUCTED THE MONEY 449 RUPEESE FROM MY BANCK ACCOUNT, BUT I DID NOT GET MY HAND WATCH SET ON MY CROSPENDENCE ADDRESS OR DID NOT GET THE MONEY BACK TO MY ACCOUNT.

    Dear sir,

    1. After seeing a attractive advertisement in Rediffshopping I had ordered for a branded 'T; Shirt vide order number 6272443. The woman branded T shirt size ‘M’ was found of poor quality and improper size. A complaint was registered with customer support subsequently the item was returned by speed post. The parcel was delivered to M/s Shopping Mantra Enterprise, Borivali, Mumbai at the adress illustrated in customer support mail.

    2. There was no response either from Rediffshopping customer support or M/s Shopping Mantra Enterprises. Again under named individual contacted customer care executive telephonically. The executive directed to forward all postal correspondence (scan copy) to customer support through email on 04 Apr 11. Which was obliged by the undernamed individual on same day.

    3. Customer support unit sent on cheque of Rs 70/- (the expenditure incurred on postal returning of article). The content of the email recieved from customer support is as follows: -

    "Dear Adeshpal ,

    Greetings from Rediff.com
    We wish to inform you that we have forwarded your courier details to the vendor and and as soon as they are in receipt of the product the replacement will be dispatched to you.
    The courier charges of Rs.70/- in the form of a pay order in favour Adeshpal Singh of will be delivered to you within next 15 working days.

    Your replacement product will be dispatched by the seller within the next 7-10 working days.

    Further, we also request you to revert back to us if the replacement is not delivered to you within the above mentioned time frame so that we would be able to assist you in a better way.

    Assure you of prompt and courteous response on all your visits to Rediff.com

    4. I have contacted the same customer support unit many times but in vain.

    5. I submit that these are just looting tactic and clearing off of sub standard items.

    6. I humbly request you to kindly take strict action against these fraudulent firms.

      I had recieved a Dress ordered by me Order no 6460717 which was defective and the mail was sent to the rediff ppl the same day i.e 31st may 2011 but after recieveing automated reply that someone will contact u within 2 working days nobody bothers for the same.
      on the site they have written that the pc will be picked by the logistics and returned back but now they say u return it by courier.
      Thats not the way to do business Online
      Making fool of ppl

        Hi,

        I have a complaint with www.rediff.com, As i was a customer of www.rediff.com when they come into existence. I had lot of albums and photos in "Photo" section of www.rediff.com for my personal use and those were rare photos of good moment in my life.

        One day when i login to www.rediff.com to have a look on my snaps, i notices that "Photo" section has been converted to "MyPage" section with new interface and i was not able to get my snaps.

        I contected www.rediff.com customer support at "[protected]@rediff.co.in" and requested them to help me in getting those rare snaps back.

        But i was surprised to see the answer from them that "Once deleted can't be retrived", i repetedly saying them that that was not deleted by me, it was because of the migration with new interface, but i got the same reply from them.

        I am very disappointed with the services of the www.rediff.com. I am nither going to user www.rediff.com in future nor goting to suggest any body to use, if they can't protect customer data.

        Here are the conversation attached, which i had with www.rediff.com support.

        Let me make you understand,

        I had some snaps in myphoto section of rediffmail.com.
        Some day i login to myphoto section then i see a new interface of myphoto, that is my page now,
        and i was not able to get my all albums and photo in my page (new interface section). So can you answer me where are those snaps and albums, which i had in myphoto section of old interface and how can i retrive them.

              I have a Rediffmail account for few years, but recently facing problems opening it. For last 3 days, I'm trying to open my account, but it shows, Login Failed due to wrong Username/Password....but i know my Username n Password. my ID is: itsme.[protected]@rediffmail.com

              I have given them my Yahoo address for password recovery address. Previously, they would sent recovery password in my Yahoo account, but now all in vain. no message. WHY???

                I have purchased a Auto Car Vacuum Cleaner with light (order no 6447735) from RediffShopping (Ojjas Enterprizes), the price was Rs. 299 + shipping & handling Rs. 85, Total Rs. 395/-, The product I received was defective and not in working condition, I immediately contacted RediffShopping.com customer care via email and told the condition, they told to send back the items. when i ask the courier company regarding sending back the item, they ask Rs. 350. Then I emailed to the RediffShopping.com regarding Courier Charges of Rs. 350 and ask them to collect the product from my home and refund my money, but they are not answering my email and not giving any response, I have already wasted Rs. 395 for the product and not wanted to waste further Rs. 350/- as courier charges. I only want RediffShopping.com should collect back the product and refund my money.

                  I placed an order for a mobile handset with order no 6428652. They charged my a/c and the product was not delivered on time. When enquired they asked me to submit a copy of the debit card, a/c statement etc. When I refused to submit them they said they will cancel my order an return the amount within 3 days. Now its benn about 15 days and the amount has not yet been recieved. My mails to the customer service are not being replied to now.
                  I am agree with him. Same case happen to me. I order one product. I received that product but not correct one. So i return that product. Rediff say they will refund the amount in 7 days. now 2 month are over still no refund. no one is replying our mails. Please help to escalate this issue to their management.

                    from last few weeks rediff bol messenger is not wroking properly . m not able to sign in its just shows connecting and then error and somtimes if if it get connected then the chat rooms list doesnt open up. infact many people are facing the same problem. do something regardin it asap else you people are putting yourself on the bad track . yahoo is much better in this terms.

                              Sending a redffmail automatically adds an advertisement at the bottom of the message !!!!...

                              This is happening since May 1st week (approx.)....
                              and it is very annoying for the recipients of the email....

                              There is no option in rediffmail to avoid this advertisement....
                              How can a company have the rights to advertise in the message body of an email ???!!!!!

                              I can't switch to any other email service because this is my default Email-ID i have given to hundreds of people...
                              Please please help!!

On 19th of april i received an automated mail from rediff.com with details of order approved,product description, courier as Deccan 360, AWB [protected] Dt.[protected], order no: 6410007 and will be reached to you by 29th April or 1st of May.

                                Until 2nd of May I've not received the product or any intimation call from any agencies including rediff.com.
                                I've tried to check the status of AWB on Deccan360.com even mail, they replied back to me saying this is not a valid awb number which you provided.

                                People help me is there any way to regarding this to lodge a complaint in cyber crime or whatever applicable.

                                  I recd a vaccume cleaner through my order no 6384308.I found that the entire piece is a DUD.Its was like a
                                  childerns play item.The machine was noot working .I called up the call center and informed the same and aske dfor a replacement .I was made to understand that somebody will call me after several calls,i was told to ladge a complaint to customer care by email.I worte back and i got a revert that they will resolve the issue ,and i get a revert after a couple of days that the mandatory 7 days.

                                  Iam really suprised that a firm of such reputr is sending such defective machines an fleecing customers.
                                  even a roadisde shop is better.Iam not going to leave this and going to lodge a police complaint and complaint in consumer court

                                  I odered cannon digital camera(Canon Digital Camera A590 8.0MP & 4X Optical Zoom+ 2GB CARD+ POUCH + WARRANTY) worth ruppees 7569 INR through rediff shopping order number-5564644 on 30/08/09 and the lead time of the product as mention by rediff was 4 to 7 days. Today i have completed 17 days but still my camera has not been dispached to me and my payment mode was cleared on 31 st august 09. After every day follow up with rediff customer care i have not got any response and they always gave me false commitment that your camera has been dispached as telephonic communication records are with me. I am still waiting a possitive response from rediff.
                                  I have launched many complaints but not got a response (complaint number[protected],[protected],[protected]. Please help in this regards as i am getting mental harrasment by rediff shopping.

                                  Order no. - 6272069. Order Thru Rediff.com. I have received this courier packet today. Seel was properly packet.

                                  But After open this packet i found that its enclosed a single ipad but i placed order for three ipad.
                                  its may be mistake by your side. remember i have receive bill against 3 ipad but i get a single ipad.
                                  i am your regular customer you can't do with me like that.

                                  its my request to you please release remain 2 ipad as soon as possible. your immediate action will be appreciable.
                                  i have made already all payment rs. 755. please check your side this mistake. i am written you this complaint with confident.
                                  when i have open packet then immediate make contact to your cell but cell was switch off later i was make to contact on
                                  landlines number but no body answered. so, i am write you mail.

                                  its really poor service given by you. i am your regular customer you can't do with me likr that.

                                    I PLACED AN ORDER AT REDIFF-SHOPPING OF A BOUQUET AND CAKE TO BE DELIVERED AFTER 2 DAYS OF BOOKING DATE..ON THE DELIVERY DATE WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY SIMPLY SAID THE AREA WAS OUT OF REACH.
                                    I WAS SO DISSAPOINTED.IT WAS SOMEONE'S BIRTHDAY..AND IF THIS KIND OF PROBLEM IS THERE THEY SHUD HAVE INFORMED BEFORE OR ATLEAST ON THE DELIVERY DAY..BUT NO..

                                      On Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 itself, I was assured by customer support over phone that the account would be activated by the evening. However it has not happened.

                                      Today, April 23, I am told that they will activate it on Monday or Tuesday (one week after rediff.com account has been credited). I don't understand the reason for what appears to be pure procrastination and disdain towards your customers from your side.

                                      If this the way a reputed internet domain name and registration company deals with its customers?

                                      This is not the first time it is happening, and I have faced similar issues earlier during my long association with rediff.com...

                                      Dear Sir,

                                      I have booked one domain name www.woodex.in with www.rediff.com for one year. It was booked in may 2007. I have developed my website and want to link it the registered domain but i could not do because my domain name is blocked or sold to someone without informing me. Please help me out an take the appropriate action against the company.
