Hi,
I have a Reliance Big TV connection. The settop box is not working for the past one month and I have filed more than 4 complaints with customer care. One technician came to my place and mentioned that settop box need replacement. He said he will come the next day, but after that nobody turned up. It's almost a month and I still have no cable connection. Big TV customer service is absolutely non-existent. I waited almost 20 mins to connect to the call center and after that keep hearing the same repeated assurance that somebody will come and check it in the next 24 - 48 hrs. But nobody ever turns up. Reliance Big TV is a big NO NO...if you are planning for a new satellite TV connection. These are absolute crooks who absolutely do not bother about the end customer. I have tried approaching the nodal officer today and will find out how it goes. Given the way things were handled till now, I don't have much hope. I don't want to pay up one more time for another connection with another provider and that's the only reason I am staying with Big TV. But I can't wait for ever and will try another connection if my complaint is not resolved in another 2 - 3 days.

Big TV DTH — Setbox not woring

My Setbox is not working for last 20 days. After serious of Compliants also, BigTv is not taking any steps.

BIG TV — Set top box not in order

My Big TV Card No.[protected]. Your cable DTH TV service is not working since last 10 days. It's installation condition is shown poor on TV and not functioning further. I have phoned toll free No.[protected] so many times but your phone line is not connecting. Kindly check my connection immediately and send the cable engineer so that he could find out the problem and repair it.

BIG TV — Set-Top-Box not working

The Set-Top-Box Is Not Working.I Checked the connections and re pinned it again. When I switch on the plug,the light on the adapter and the set-top-box blinks, and a tick tick sound is heard.

    my smart card no is[protected].i recharged my account with rs 1000 on 10-11-12 around 8 pm using internet via debit card. Recharge was not successful as i did not got any conformation message from RDTV on my email as well as on my phone,but the money has been deducted from my debit card and i have also got the payment receipt after transaction.When i call customer care they always say that their systems are down so the cannot provide any help.Please tell me where should i go now.

      Never ever take a reliance digital connection. In case you have please do not try raising a reinstallation request.

      I hold a connection with Reliance Big, with subscriber id as[protected]. When i moved to a new residence, i tried raising a request for reinstallation and was told by the customer care that their process is to raise an uninstallation request and once that is completed, then only i can raise a reinstallation request. In addition i need to recharge my account with Rs 350 before i can raise the request as well. So i raised an uninstallation request and then started the drama. There was no response from the reliance team for more than a week and then i uninstalled the full set myself. I raised a reinstallation request and thought that at least this time the company might respond properly. Then again there is no response. Now when i tell them to cancel my account and refund my money back, they give strange comments like they dont have a refund option.

      Is Reliance taking customers for granted?
      This is a good example how a stupid management irritates a valuable customer and harms the company as well. Company receives a good sum in the name of installation. There ignorance may lead to disconnection as well. Actually real problem lies in customer care system, because they are just fools and know to talk only, that too meaningless. While the top management is always responsive..

        This is to your kind notice that I am recharge my reliance digital TV. on dated 22nd Sept -2011.at 3 pm With Rs.241.00 reference no .5245934 and my smart card no.[protected].through [protected]@com and Payment ref: no CCA11IDZP388- and payment receipt by Avenues India Limited from my HDFC A/c but the amount not credit on my reliance digital TV A/c. till date . after that I have already send so many reminder to [protected]@paytm.com but there is no respond form your side or still date not showing any recharge a/c balance in my reliance big TV or not getting any refund .Already I am complaint 5times regarding same but no satisfy answer/solution getting from your side.
        So please this is humble request with reminder to you, please short out this matter as soon as possible.Either recharge my reliance big TV or refund the same amount to my bank A/c.

            My reliance big TV account no is[protected]. I am constantly getting Smart card pairing error(108) and unable to view any channels from past 8days. I have raised a service request for the same[protected] and yet to receive any resolution for the same.

            Reliance, BIG TV — Not able to view any channels

            I have installed a BIG TV DTH in Bangalore/ Koramangala, my Subscribers I D is[protected], I have contacted the customer care 20 times and send 10 emails. But all went in vain. It is very big disappointment for me for not getting any channels from last 20 days.Finally I dont know whom to conatct and how to set the problem right. The customer srvice is just a bluf and noting can be done from there. The whole BIG TV has become dummy. so finally I have decided to go for consumer court.
            I had big TV installed about a month ago and I was getting all the channels for about a month. Then one fine day I could view only 2 channels Gyan Darshan and the review channel. Now for the last 5 days I've lodged over 50 complaints and sometimes they say they are sending an Engineer in 28 hours sometimes it is 48 hours. So far no one has come and I am on the verge giving up on these guys. It is a shame that Reliance a reputable company can let this happen to their customers. It is the brand name that makes a product sell. So this is going to damage the image of Reliance. M y mart card no. is [protected]

            the worst thing that happened to human race is tata indicom&tatasky, it's very sad that ambanis trying for that goal knowingly or unknowingly wish them worst of luck..that, s that.come to think of ...VIRGIN MOBILE, too bad she, s already PREGNANT MOBILE But then what do you expect from mushraf...?
            i was wondering, just wondering why S.P.of CDMA origin are thinking the MASSES are AS**es...COME to think of that .there was a saying, .That you can fool somebody everytime&everybody sometime blah..blah..&&& mind you conditions apply especially when they are in small prints...

            The signal strength is very weak and most of the time I am not able to view channels.
            I tried calling your customer care centre more than 100 time sbut not getting through even after waiting for 10 minutes .

              I have the reliance BIG TV connection at my home with smart card number "[protected]".
              I monthly do the recharge of 300/-.
              Recently I recently brought the new flat. I have removed the reliance dish from my old house & installed it at new home.
              Everything working Fine..
              I called reliance customer care (Salim Shaikh) & requested to change my address but they are saying to change the address they Will charge 350/- Rs.

              I told them, there is nothing to reinstall, they still said they will charge 350/- (which is not expected as everything is installed)

              I don't know why they can not change the communication address directly.

              Please guide me to proceed further.

                This is with reference to the installation of Reliance Dish . Two Executives Ms.Rupa Roy([protected]) and Mr,Ratnadeep Dutta from APPCO Marketing (India) Pvt.Ltd. visited our premises at F-171, Nanakpura, New Delhi. on 8th September 2012.They offered us a scheme to installation of Reliance DTH under Pack Name Bronze. We paid a sum of Rs,2990/- vide cheque no. 794463 dt.08/09/2012. We were told that Installation will be done within 8-10 days. But till date it has not been installed.Moreover they are not responding to our calls also. With great difficulty I was able to get the number of the Engineer.Mr.Avishek([protected]).But the mobile is constantly switched off. My Customer Application Form No is [protected]. I had registered under the name Ms.Deepali Das. I have been trying to contact the Reliance Helpline also.But all in vain.


                I regret to inform that inspite of making the payment I have not been provided the services and I have not got any co operation from the executive.If they are unable to provide me with the services kindly remburse my money and take action against the executives.Kindly let me know the status at the earliest.

                Reliance Dish TV — dish tv & the people related 2 service

                The people who come 2 market the product do not tell u about the extra hidden costs the TV hd does not work even after installing & when u call them their phones are busy or out of range . N finally when u reache their helpline then they tel you it will take 2 days . Then there will be 10 ppl who will call & ask u same questions & when u tell them that you have already told everything b4 instead of doing service recovery they will hang up on you n show u attitude just coz they have nothing 2 loose & the money is already in their pocket . Think 10 times b4 u buy.

                    My smart card number is[protected]. I put Rs.2400 in my account and I have given service request to upgrade my connection to HD on 31/08/12. From customer care they promise me they will give me a new HD set top box with in 24 hours, and i got sms saying our technician will contact you soon.After 6 days technician changed my set top box.Old set top box he took. Technician gave a service request to get paired on 07/09/2012, and request number is[protected].So the set top box showing "error 102 your set top box is not paired with the smartcard".I call customer care on 9/09/12 they said our technical department is doing this kind of job and they are on leave wait for another 2 days after that they will fix it. I wait for 2 days nothing happened.I called again they said your service request is under process it will take 15 days to solve.I already paid for the channels till feb'13. Now I am not able to watch any channels.One of the worst service I ever seen my life.

                        Hi,

                        We have been relocated from Hdyerabad to Pune and in Hyderabad our connection was working fine. The world start falling when we asked there customer care to switch our connection to Pune. We took everything with us and since 27th Aug we are calling there customer care for installation.

                        A good thing is if a request not severed in two days it will be automatically closed. Customer is on the mercy of the call center people. Every-time they are asking us to raise a request again and other good thing is still they are charging you for the digital box service, so they are at a win win situation.

                        I recommend all not go with reliance big tv, here big is nothing but the pain which they give you. Even if you have gone,any time when are you relocating just throw your instrument and everything as its just a extra waste you are carrying with you.

                            Hi, my smart card no is[protected]. I made four complaints related to the very poor signal quality. and every time it was told to me that "it will be resolved in next 48 hours."
                            First complaint - 4th Aug 2012,[protected] closed without any ACTION.
                            Second complaint - 11th Aug 2012,[protected] closed without any ACTION.
                            Third complaint - 16th Aug 2012,[protected] closed without any ACTION.
                            Fourth complaint - 18th Aug 2012,[protected] closed without any ACTION.

                            While complaining I had discussion with senior costomer executives - Mr. Yogesh, Mr Sachin and Mr Rahul. No one is able to solve the problem.

                            Very luckily one day I got the call from service engg Mr Nitesh ([protected]) and he told me "main aapko service nahi de sakta hu aap fir complain ker do".

                            It is not the right way to talk with the customers, please make them educated and SOLVE MY POOR SIGNAL QUALITY PROBLEM ASAP. I am still waiting for service.

                              This is to let u know that my service are not working since 17th Aug,2012.The first complain was made on 17th aug, and the complain number is[protected] and it was told that it will be fixed in 24 hrs.several calls have been made after that but nothing has been done yet.even spoke to managers,they promise that i will get call back from the concerned team in the next two hrs but has not received any calls till now.

                                  i gave complaint on 11-Aug-12.

                                  Setup box was not working, stops automatically every 10 min's. This is the new connection installed in March-12.

                                  No one attended the complaint and the complaint/ case was closed. surprised by looking at the message that the case was resolved.

                                  I spoke with customer care again today(16-Aug-12). and asked them to escalate. How come the request closed with out attending the issue.

                                  let us see how it goes.

                                  TV is not working since 15 days.

                                  Reliance Digital TV — Not attending the complaint

                                  I forwarded the complaint to Reliance Big Tv Customer Care on 2.04.2011.But till today ie 6.04.2011,the compolaint is not resolved.I talked to Five customer Care Executives along with Two Senior Executives,Who don't know how to handle the problems of the customers but they know how to deal only with the customers.
                                  Instead the balance is being deducted daily.I feel that they need only the money but not the customer satisfaction.
                                  Hope that they resolve the issue at the earliest.
                                  Also hope that they may not get the time to resolve.

                                  Reliance Digital — Not attending complaints

                                  This is in conjunction to the other complaint I submitted re. Reliance Digital not getting my Voltas ACs installed. Apparently, I purchased two extended warranty coupons (No. 24304 and 24306) for both the ACs I bought and it has few leaflets giving discounts and offer on other items and services besides the usual warranty. There is one leaflet offering free service for any product and I am continously calling Reliance digital at the number provided[protected] since last 3 days to avail the same but no one cares to receive the calls. I am wondering what Quality of Service does Reliance publicises about. Being such a BIG brand in the market and carrying the name which implies "WE ARE RELIABLE", what is it truly offering?

                                  This is simply a breach of contract as they have not been following the protocol. I appreciate some prompt action on this as they are fooling customers by charging heavily on these coupons.

Coupon No :- [protected]. i have just also call to customer care for the attending my compalin but no one is coming to my place so please help me or guide me who will me give the service. When i just contact to toll free regarding my complain they are just saying that from your site engg just updated to us that you don't want the service. But i want the service so please again requesting you provide me your service...!!

                                    I'm unable to watch TV due to poor signal quality. I have already complained to customer care about this on 10th august (complain no[protected].
                                    I don't get any call from your engineers not even from appointment and your company promises to resolve the problem in two days...
                                    I am getting very worse services and I am very disappointed.

                                    Reliance is giving very bad services to consumers. I have booked a complaint 5 days back saying my set-top box is not working and I am still following up with Reliance Big TV customer care representatives. My smart card number is[protected]. Everyday when i am calling customer care i am getting a reply that a technician will visit me TODAY or TOMORROW morning. And from last five days i am getting the same reply. I feel like cheated. When i booked the complaint, I was told that the technician will visit and REPAIR if possible, otherwise will replace it. Now they are giving me reason that the set top boxes are out of stock. I would like to know - for a technician to visit and repair an existing set-top box, is it necessary to have a brand new set-top box?
                                    Otherwise, to replace with a new set-top box, why do you need a technician? You can courier it to me. I can connect it with the cable.

                                    .I am highly dis-satisfied with your service and my advice to others here is - NEVER EVER PURCHASE RELIANCE BIG TV

                                      Hi,

                                      We were paying Rs 298 from February 2011 towards our TV service with Reliance Big Tv. On 13th of August they have suspended our service telling that we need to Rs 460 toward the add on plans for English movie channels and for sports channels, were in these plans are a part of our South Gold pack of Rs296 with 182 channels. I have the online bill for last 7 months. In the past 7 months they have never suspended the service and now they are asking us to pay extra for the channels which are already included in our package to restore our service. What should I do? Why should I pay extra for add on channels which is included in our package? So kindle please help in resolving this issue. Reliance customer service is not helping at all.
