Reliance Digital TV (Reliance Big TV) set of box is not functioning since 31.07.2012. This connection was installed on 26.06.2011. When went to the dealer from whom I have got this installation, he has been asking for Rs.700/- for repairs. We have never misused any electronic goods. My account number is[protected]. The dealer person name is Mr. Shakeel, mobile number is [protected]. I have given the box with eliminator yesterday evening at 17.30 hours. I request you to kindly extend help the best possible way as i am a retired person. please extend your kind service.

    Myself Govindnarayan Agrawal of Tumsar Dist. Bhandara. I have pay Rs 1708 on 10/October/2011 for 1 year subscription to BIG TVs dealer at Tumsar. But they have cut our srevice on 3/8/2012. I used to pay payment every year like this only. They have closed our connection which is illegal. So, I request that they should restart our connection. My smart card number =>[protected].

    Reliance Big TV — NOT GIVING SERVICE

    sir mene 20din pahle BIG TV ka connection liya tha, jo 12 din tak achhe chala. par ab vo 8 din se chal nahi raha he hum BIG TV ke custmer care pe comlaint kar kar ke pareshan ho gay he vo bas hame complaint no de dete he or bolte he ki 12 ghante ya 24 ghate me ho jayga par 8 din ho gay he abhi tak un logo ne kuch bhi nahi kya he, hamare ghar par jo install karne aya tha vo bhi hamari nahi sun raha he vo bas kahta rahta he ki ye problem mumbai se he or mumbai vale kahte he ki bhopal se sir 8 din se hamari koi sun nahi raha please aap is mamle me mer help kijiye.
    Reliance products should not be purchased on launch. Wait and watch for a year till they work out internal processes before taking any risks. Well most of you dont have the brains and will jump again at the next Reliance offering nevertheless without any inquiry.

    I had thought plenty Reliance experiences online should make you to think before applying. So well stupids like YOU ALL DESERVED THE CRAP Reliance is dishing out.

    BIG Tv (Reliance) — Complaint regarding non employment of pack

    Sir,

    I have purchase BIG TV Dish and my Smart Card No. is[protected]

    My TV Cut off by Big tv on 12.05.09 due to non balance .then I contected his customer care on phone, and ask him that I want to Stater-3 pack for one year . so what amount will be paid by me . and He said if you Deposit Rs.2096/- then this pack vallid upto one year .

    After this I Depsited Rs. 2100/- on 12.05.09 for this pack and told him my Starter -3 pack to be emplements . and I am regulerly phone to Customer care of BiG TV and also sent Email form 18.05.09 but not emplement of the above .

    Now I am again contected to customer care to day, and discussed the above matter to .seioner person Mr. Verma and he said that you deposit Rs.100/- more then we will start the same .

    My porbalms is that I Regulerly contected his customer care and aslo sent email and he said we will be emplemnet with 48 hrs for the same . and now they want to Rs.100/- more from me . this is Breach of Trust . and now the position of my TV is that your balance as on date is Rs.1990/ aprox and your next recharge due on jan-20010 . which will be wrong because this pack only 10 Months instead of 12 months

    you are therfore requested to kindly look into the matter and and infom me what action to be taken against this .please advise

    BIG Tv (Reliance) — Signal Lost

    Sir,
    I am a BIG TV customer having the a/c number[protected]. I have been confronting signal lost problem since 13/09/09. I have registered my complaints many times by calling to the customer care number with the complaints numbers[protected] on 13/09,[protected] on 19/09,[protected] on 25/09,[protected] on 28/09,[protected] on 30/09,[protected] on 06/10/2009). I have also complained through the mail on 30/09 and 06/10. But sir until now i have not gotten any service.

      I have been a Reliance Digital TV subscriber for a year & 10 months (Con No:[protected]. On completion of the first year of service, I renewed the service for another year (the user, indcidentally, is my octogenarian mother, who is a pensioner), paying Rs 2,978/- for one year on October 9, 2011. If I recall right, the pack is referred to as diamond south pack. The amount paid was as per the amount mentioned against 12 months' subscription for the pack.

      I was surprised, therefore, to receive an SMS today (03 Aug, 2012) informing that the service had been suspended because of inadequate balance in my account. Puzzled, I called the service's consumer care number. I was told that though I had taken a year's subscription & paid the amount in full - in advance - I had been charged at the monthly subscription rate multplied by the number of months & now there was not enought balance in my account & the service had been cut.

      Further, I was told that I had been "remiss" - in failing to call up consumer care & informing them that the year's subscription I had remitted should be taken as a year's subscription & not month-to-month payment!

      Digest that ridiculous construct on a straightforward online transaction! That is Reliance for you - totally unreliable!

        The DVR SetTop Box failed and they needed to replace it. Raised the complaint on 07/07/2012, the Request No.[protected]. They called and told they didn't have DVR setup box in production to replace it. so after 2 weeks we decided to degrade to HD setTop box on 23/07/2012. For compensation they gave 3 months free services but didn't fix the new HD SetTop Box. Till date i had been calling up to check on the status of the SetTop box and they keep on telling 2 more days.

          My name is kalpana yadav and my Reliance Big TV Smart Card Number is[protected] connection is in the name of Mrs. kalpana yadav who is residing at 1568,maruti kunj ggn.My COMPLAINT NO IS[protected] REGISTERED ON 9TH JULY AND[protected] REGISTERED ON 29TH JULY.Our Contact Number is [protected] and [protected]. I have registered complain on 9th July, 2012 (Sunday) regarding that our setofbox is showing poor signal due to which I'm unable to see tv. And your executives told me that problem will be solved in 48 hours that is by 10th July, 2012. But till now (i.e.) 1st august 2012 your executives have not come nor made a call to us. Everyday I’m calling in customer care number from 9th till this now (i.e.) I made a call on 10th, 11th 12th, 13th 14th AND STILL I'M CALLING but there is no response from your side. This is my warning mail to you that if your executives do not visit and solve the problem within next 24 hours that by 2th AUGUST 2012 (11a.m) I will take this matter to CONSUMER COURT. And I will make sure that strict action is taken against you.

I have paid for one year subscription of special pack and a regional pack. from few days the any channels is not working & after one week daily massage in my mobile no [protected] (your a/c no.[protected] are suspended please recharge minimum of Rs.279 to) but also we had paid for one year subscription .

              My complaint against Reliance Big TV. I have Reliance big tv past 2 year's smart card no.[protected] . My TV connection was lost yesterday evening and when i try to contact with customer care there is no response and if some body picking the call they repeted same massage we will look in this issue and still i am facing this issue i got the error code 400 singnal loss. And that customer service is very poor of this service provider................

              If anybody look into this issue and take responsbility it's greatfull to me otherwise i have to think about the change Service provider.....

              Reliance Big TV — Reliance Big TV connection at my home

              Sub: Subscription No.[protected]

              Dear Sir,

              I had a perfectly working Tatasky connection at my residence, which I had disconnected after a rep from Reliance Big TV came to my residence and persuaded to take its connection by paying approx. Rs. 1700/- with three months free subscription. Subsequently, I took the connection and paid the money and the everything worked well for 3/4 months.

              But, after this whenever we tune to Channel No. 861 - Asianet - a regional facourite channel of Malayalees - one of the still (scene) from the earlier programmes, which we had watched, appears on the screen very often - to be more preceive it comes for 1 or 2 seconds in every 2/3 minutes and disturbs the programme that we are watching and enjoying at that time.

              I have been reporting the above problem to Big TV customer service executives and till today the problem is not solved. I presume the company has unqualfied and untrained workforce. Now my last complaint on 17th April on the subject has not been attended to till now.

              I hope, my problem will be resolved through your at the earliest.

              Hi My self Ramesh Chand, I want to escalate complaint against reliance big tv as my tv is showing signal lost error code 400, and I have already get service provider no.[protected] from customer care last saturday, but still I didn't get any call from their engineers or no body comes to my home for correct this, and when I call CC they just saying that your complaint is still open and we look in to this as soon as possible, but its around a week I have already wait, and how much time it will take more, even CC do not know, I think Big TV gives very poor after sale service and I don't recommend any body to purchase it, and I also think about to change service provider. if any Reliance team see this I request them please look into this matter My smart card no. is[protected] and you can reach me on [protected]

              Hi My self Devesh Pande, I am getting error showing signal lost with code 400. I am trying to call Reliance customer care from last two days but my call is on waiting for more that 15 min and I am not able to go through the customer care to log the complaint.

              I really don't know what to do, if customer don't pay then the connection get disconnected with in sec. But if there is any issue then Reliance don't bother to look for the solution. I really not satisfied with the service.

              Whenever weather becomes little bit cloudy or windy it loses the connection, where other DTH operator works perfectly fine for all my neighbours.
              I have complained many times, but still It is not been solved. customer care explains me on phone that in rainy season sometimes it loses connection and all that. Technician comes and go without any solution providing different reasons like In rainy season it happens (He even accepted that Big TV loses connection and other DTH operator does not).
              WORSTTT Service I have ever experienced. No proper customer care response.

              Dear reliance big TV and all their subscribers it's not any temporary issue reliance big TV is unable to broadcast signal because of suspension of transponders available to them by Antrix corporation due to non payment of dues after mutliple payment reminders and star and zeel network had discontinued their channels to big TV even before over same non payment of dues you can check news. So instead of wasting time in complaining or reaching reliance big TV try consumer forum as if big TV wanted to continue their services they would have made payments and services would not have stopped so try to get your refund and switch to a good service provider or else you will be left like Banks looted in recent years by some big businessman in order to maintain their luxary lifestyle.
              My smart card for reliance digital is[protected]. My connection is not working since past 5 days. I am getting this error 400. And i have called the customer service several time, but there is no proper resolution yet. I want my refund and also filing for disconnection will opt for some other dth service provider which will give better service.
              Don't wait change subscriber now.

                    Please help me from Reliance Big TV …. BIGGEST PROBLEM / No solution from them.
                    Mine is a Parent / Child connection bearing nos.[protected] & 149. After completion of ONE Year, I recharged and made official request for pack change / activation in time, with excess balance (during the 1st week of July, 2012). All this happened only when I could communicate more than 10-15 times with the customer care executives.

                    However, on 19.7.2012, I received a shocking SMS that my account was suspended due to insufficient balance, reflecting to no picture in my TV. Since then, we are contacting customer care executives repeatedly, who are informing that some new tariff was reflecting at my account by mistake which is showing negative balance and the same would be corrected only by the back-end. They often apologise without giving proper commitment nor contacts who could actually be held responsible to rectify the issue.

                    We do not understand why we need to be penalized by stopping the services resulting to its suspension though we made all perfect communications along with payments. We simply conclude that it is not joy for entertainment through Reliance Big TV but, mere punishment for subscribers.
                    Somebody, please help ; RECTIFY THE ISSUE.

                      every month I am getting Message One week before to Recharge Again and Disconnecting Service on Said Days.
                      I have Contacted Reliance Customer care and Physically Thier Relaince Shop is Dr A S Rao Nagar they are very Roude and even dont know how to talk Customer.
                      They have Supplied Remote Handset which is very low distance 1Mtr given complaint but not solving problem.

                        My Smart Card No is[protected]. I have registered complaints repeateadly for change of wire but inspite of assurance from customer care that compalint will be attended in next 48 hours no body has bothered to call even after 15 days of compalint. This is regular practice and such companies which cannot provide services should be closed so that customers are not subjected to unnecessary harrasment.

                        its true even i have purchased BIG TV in mangalore from past four days no engineer have called me, but my i have called customer service centre num thrice every time they say they will be pass on the message to concerned department, they never give customer complaint num as they say their systm is dwn, please whoever are new customer please go these and never got to buy big tv, here in mangalore major sellers have removed BIG TV banner and kept inside.
                        Same case here. I bought the BIG TV kit on 26th Aug, today is Sep 1st till today, no one from the service side of BIG Tv had called me, and have lodged more than 4 complaints, they have given a different case id for each complaint, but not resolved the issue so far. I think Ambani is making money in this venture as usual.
                        This is the same case for me as well. I have got the BIG TV kit on 28th Aug and today it is 5th Sep. Till now no body had called for installation. We were told we will get the engineer for installation on 2nd Sep. From that time, i have called numerous times to the Customer Care. It will not connect, even if it connects it takes 8-10 min (will be in music), even after that the customer care engineers say the same thing, "will forward it to the concerned department, they will contact you asap". Nothing had worked for me, finally i decided to return back the kit and planning to visit the reliance showroom where i bought it. I think TataSky is better now and i am regretting my decision to go with BIG tv. It is a BIG flop
                        This is one of the product, i am already upset and annoyed about this product. is there a way to let know the concerned officials at big tv, that they will be held responsible and will be pull to the court.

                        Big TV - — Failure to install connection and pathetic customer service system

                        I purchased Smart Card No.[protected] on August 26, 2008 forenoon. We were told that we will receive a call from the Engineer within 4 hours seeking appointment. Till evening we did not receive any call. On calling Customer Service (after waiting for >15 minutes hearing the music and recorded message that everyone is busy) I was told that somebody called on my second contact no. and we gave a time of afternoon August 31 for installation. On denying the same and explaining, first the Customer Service Agent expressed that once it is scheduled no changes can be made. On insisting that it was a false report from the engineer and no such time was ever given by us, they agreed to schedule it within next 48 hours and gave me a complain no.[protected] and told that somebody will contact.

                        On 27th when we called again in the afternoon the same story was repeated and after significant argument the Customer Service representative agreed that it will be installed by 1600 Hrs on 28th August and the Engineer concerned will call. Till now (4 PM 28th August), we have not received any call and the Customer Service representatives are continuously busy for last 20 minutes since 3 3:30 PM(we have been getting same "busy" message since 2 PM).

                        How long will you continue such "Services" - It seems the model of just collecting money from consumers and then simply forgetting them has been adopted. There is no other number also on which one can try contacting you people.

                        It is really pathetic to say this is one of the worst Product launched by Reliance.Eventhough it has been launched at the first, customer satisfaction is the worst.It has to be routed out completely before they cheat more innocent customers.The service engineers are not qualified enough to take up the challenge.Since the day i got connection i am not able to access not even a single channel.I strongly suggest people not to go for this product.

                        He he he he! Do you think Reliance really bothers about your complaints? Not at all. They already have your money, so why will they care now? Reliance mobile, reliance internet, and now this reliance Bigtv. All Reliance products are backed by worst customer service. Reliance ADAG group has highly inefficient and even corrupt managers at the district level. There is no accountability. Whether dealing with customers or local vendors, they really insult you. I have bad experience with Reliance, as i was an advertizing vendor for Reliance at Mysore and they got work done by me and did not pay. Anil's Reliance ADAG group needs to learn about customer service from elder brother Mukesh, as they have not learnt it. Its not technology but only good customer service which counts in the longterm.

                        I am not totally agree with your argument. i am also using big tv dth since 2 months. yes in beginning i got some delay in installation but their customer care guys were polite and helpful towards me. also after installation i called them regarding recharge procedure and they helped me in faster and very informative manner. i have no issues with big tv, hope your problems will sort out soon.
                        I got the same problem and was not able to get proper signal. its not a big issue i called their engineer and when that guy came he show me how to fix [You can fix the Dish on terrace;outside your House Wall or veranda.Dish cannot be installed inside the house as it receives satellite signals to function effectively]
                        Try to move it in 360 degree its easy and simple task you can also do it on your own.

                        BIG TV — Poor Service

                        Subject: Complaint about Service – Regarding.

                        I have purchased the BIG TV which has been installed on Monday (10.11.2008) by your service Engineers. On Tuesday (11.11.2008) when I switched on the TV and your Setup Box, I am not able to view the channels where it shows “POOR SIGNALS STRENGTH”. As soon as I launched the complaint (Complaint number[protected] dated 11.11.2008) in toll free number and I have spoken to Mr.Kannan of your customer service cell. He guided some tips over phone to sort out that problem but I am not able to sort out the same. Then he said he will send Engineers to sort out the problem on Next day (12.11.2008). He guaranteed the service person will attend the problem the next day (12.11.2008) itself. After waiting for one day no one turned up to attended the service. Then I made a call to the toll free number, the call was attended by Ms.Reychael she told that on Tuesday the person (Mr.Kannan) who have taken up the call has not recorded properly. She again gave me a complaint number[protected] assuring the service will be attended within two days (i.e. on Friday -14.11.2008). When I called in the Friday evening Mr.Vinoth have taken up the call and he assured that the problem will be sorted by evening itself.

                        But still there is no one attended till date, I don’t know whether you running a BIG TV or SMALL TV IN THE MARKET. If you’re rendering same kind of service in the market your name will be get spoiled. I need a person immediately to sort out the issue or else its better to take back your setup box and refund my money.

                        BIG TV — Poor Poor Sarvice

                        i bought big tv on 14/11/08.and activation date is 15/11/08.but settop box was not working that time.then eng.told us settop box is corrupted.after two days I went to yash enterprise near subhashbridge circle ahmedabad.that time they said our eng.will come to your home and then he can resolve your problem.but company eng. Also don’t know very well about how to connect settop box with tv and dish?after four five days later 18/11/08 I could saw my tv with channel….but….still all premium pack channels like Zeetv, HBO, Hungama etc. I cant see.i bought 2690/-smart pack.my SMART CARD NO:[protected].i talked this problem with customercare 8 times but they always said me sir technical problem is there then they took my complain.but after one day I tried to know about my compalin progress and they said me sir there is a no compalin here…sometimes they told me your details is not complete..please try to activate my channels.
                        this is not my problem.no one other company takes longer time to comlete data…your service is so poor..this is my horrible experience with your company and stll it is.tell me what to do?????

                        Reliance BIG TV D.T.H. — Very Very poor quality of Customer Service

                        I purchased BIG TV on Aug 7th. First problem is Installation happened after 5 days with repeated followup. Majority of my time gone only to followup customer care[protected]. This is very very useless.
                        Secondly, till 2 weeks the channels are visible. Later while watching on a very good day (Nov. 20) sudennly there was flash message to contact Customer care. The answers were ridiculous. I was discussing, why they disconnected for the channels which I had subscribed? They noted the complaint and addressed "within 48 hrs this shall be resolved". but that 48 hrs did not happen till DATE (Nov. 27). Customer support is totally unprofessional attitute. There is no escalation mechanism - They even say to go "whereever you want to go - you can go. This is the process". I don't know whether how this problem gets resolved. Since payment is made I have no other choice than "SUFFER". My smart card No. is[protected],

                        I advice everyone not to invite troubles -- ESPECIALLY the frustration you get when you get unnecessary disconnection while watchin mid of program.

                        The service is absolutely hopeless - I once again mention not to buy this product and regret later. Suffering customers will deffenetly teaches a lesson like this poor quality companies.

                        Reliance BIG TV DTH — poor service & bad response

                        Dear Sir,

                        I've purchased a DTH connection of Reliance Big TV, three months ago.
                        My smart card no. is[protected]
                        Since one month, it's set top box is hanged frequently.
                        Frequency is not fixed, sometimes it is hanged 20 - 25 times within 30 minutes.
                        I've logged four complaints regarding the problem.
                        My three complaints are already closed with remarks of "solved the complaint".
                        Details are as follows:
                        First complaint no. 82346855 dated 06.12.08,
                        Second complaint no. 82968247 dated 12.12.08,
                        Third complaint no. 83323774 dated 17.12.08 &
                        Fourth complaint no. 83857740 dated 23.12.08.

                        Although they have made a commitment to solve within 48 hrs, but it is doubtful.
                        this will also be closed without solution, as usual.
                        Pl. look into the matter and help me out.

                        BIG TV — POOR QUALITY

                        BiG TV is also Big froud, Big cheating, otherwise why they are showing same hindi movies again and again, every month some film is repeated. Quality of picture is like a painting almost blurred which their mechanic is either not understanding or not able to improve it .Certainly it was a Big Mistake to subscribe such a useless dish connection
                        I had never seen such a nasty service provider. i'm based at hyderabad & i had been follwing with customer service for regional telugu pack channels which are not coming after subscribing also & everytime customer service repersentatives has promised that my problem will be solved after 10 to 15 minits since 8 days & very disgusitng is customer never receives a single feed back call of his complaint

                        BigTV is pathetic service provider. They had good products but their systems are pathetic. Their accounting system is poor. They have no way of managing primary and secondary connection. Their communication with the customers is pathetic.
                        Their service levels mentioned on their web site are misleading and they dont have an effective way of addressing customer complaints. They would refuse to log customer complaints sighting reasons that are beyond reason. Get rid of it to !!!

                        Hi iam Gagandeep Kaur, I have got your Big Tv box installed at my home "Its on name of Amritpal singh"ID No.[protected].I got it installed sometime last month it was working good initially but now giving lot of troubles.Iam facing problem with few channels and also if shift my tv from drawing roo to bed room (which is st hardly 10 feet distance)it doesn't work.This Box is installed at my home and my parents stay there.they both are senior citizens so i communicated to your customer care on behalf of my parents but i was shocked to see the poor quality of service, I called your customer care on 04/06/09 at your customer care and spoke to someone Manoj in chandigarh he was OF NO HELP.                         This complaint is regarding whenever i recharge my bigtv using your via craditcard/ netbanking i see somthing written on this recharge now page on your website but i can understand this language please correct this as soon as possible so that any other custumet do not follow this problem during recharge their big tv using recharge option.
                        The service of recharge option tab is very poor becasue whenever i recharge using recharge tab and click on via credit card/netbanking i see the new page on which recharge now is written but i can not understand the smart card number and after enter my recharge number it accept but on the next page the same thing occur please correct this so other custumer do not follow the same problem.

                        Its the peek period for football viewer because of 2010 world cup and two sports channel espn and star cricket is not working at all, screen is black without visuals only big tv logo on it and audio is cracking, other channel is working properly but little bit problem in sony and sab tv.
                        when i complain about this problem they told me that its an hardware problem and the service charge will be deducted for this, how come its an hardware problem when all channel is working properly, customer executive response was unsatisfactry and rude and they are also not providing complain number if you do not ask for it 2-3 times.

I have many times called to[protected] I have talking to customer care, till now not yet new installation, why delay of new installation? I gave phone number to [protected], [protected].

                        I want new installation, when will need arrange the installation?
                        I had registerd my complaint today on toll free no of reliance big TV at 9.00 AM, but my complaint registed at 7.00PM in evening on same day. Now they are telling that complaint will be solved in 48 hours from the time of complaint registered.

                        So many time i had told about the procedure to surrender the connection, but they never confirms.

                        A person at customer care center says that they cannot connect me to satellite while it is raining or about to rain. So, he says, no picture shall be available during rainy season. If this BIG people could not find a way to give uninterrupted service to customers during rainy season, why can't they develop a new technology that can stop monsoon in Kerala forever ?
                        No picture during raining at all. All I could see is a RED screen. If the BIG people cannot solve the problem, they should rename the product. " Reliance RED TV".

                        Reliance Big TV — POOR QUALITY HARDWARE

                        I M A RELIANCE BIG TV DTH service user for almost 2 years and i m perhaps the most harassed by them.
                        their dish is made of such poor quality that everytime wind blows it bends and u have no signal. then u have to call in an engineer to get the signal back. this is the routine for the last 2 years. everytime i have to shell out 175 rs. and this happens every month. Last time they assured me that they will not charge me any money for the repair, but when i checked my balance i was again feeling cheated. I finally requested them to change my dish and i was even ready to pay for it. But when i asked them for warranty for the new dish , they plainly refused for any as it is not their company policy to provide any warranty for hardware. Now i'm left with no option but to change my DTH operator.

                        Reliance Big TV — to lighten the big tv logo as appeared on the screen

                        i am customer of reliance big tv since 3 years. Every time when i switch on my television i saw channels, the logo of reliance bigtv appears on the side corner of each channel and too dark that it becomes impossible to see the background image of any program or news headline displayed on it. Please kindly resolve this problem.

                        The Reliance Big TV service is very pathetic. We have a HD connection with Recording. 15 days ago, the set-up box stopped working. After calling the customer care, we filed a complaint. Their executive conveyed that the setup box is not working and we need to replace it with a new one which will cost us Rs 3000/-. Which is ridiculous !.... Secondly , the company replaced the existing setup box with recording with the one without reecording ...! Again ridiculous !...... And after doing that, the smart card needs to be paired with the new box. The executive who installed the box said that the card will be paired within 2 hours. After every 10-15 minutes, the TV screen shows Smart Card Pairing Error. We need to shut down the Setup box from the main plug point and restart it all over again, every 10-15 minutes.. We called up the customer care many times, first they said problem will be resolved in 24 hours, then 48 hours, then 8 days, then 15 days..... Till date it is not resolved ! The most disguisting part is to get up every 10 min and restart the setup box.... And the worst part- the executive says we cannot disconnect, no refunds. This is harrasment ...!

                        Our account has been deactivated since 4 days. We have been calling up the customer care continuously since then. Even after making 100 calls and explaining the same thing to multiple customer service executives, the issue still remains unsolved. After these several calls, as advised by a senior executive, we even recharged the account immediately However, the account still remains suspended.

                        None of the executives were able to guide us properly nor anyone could give us a concrete solution on anything. Everything seems to be out of the process and authority of everyone. If that's the case, why is this even called a "Customer CARE center" is my question.

                        We have wasted the whole day without us being at fault and still with no solution given to our problem or no deadline given for us to wait.

                        MANY OF THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES ARE ARROGANT AND ARE CLUELESS ABOUT HANDLING PROBLEMS OF SUCH INTENSITY. THEY HAVE NO MANNERS OF TALKING TO THE CUSTOMER.

                        WE HAVENT EXPERIENCED SUCH A PATHETIC SERVICE BY ANY ORGANIZATION TILL DATE.

Now its been 2 months since our tv has stopped working. When i checked my big tv account last day i was shocked to discover that my account has been debited twice in the name of the service which i failed to receive.                           Its been 17 days that we have been complaining constantly.Our hd set top box is not working. The set top box is in warranty and they are not turning up for any replacement. But it has not been taken seriously at all. The senior supervisor and the technical head both are aware of it, but none of them have taken any action. my account number is[protected]. .                             Reliance TV (previously BIG TV) has suddenly hit upon a novel way of forcing its old subscribers to buy new set top boxes for its DTH services. At 7.15 p.m. on 25th June 2012, all the channels of Reliance TV went off air due to 'signal problem'. Repeated calls at its consumer centre from 7.15 p.m. to 10 p.m. got only one reply-'cannot take your call at the moment as the computer system is down for updation, please call after some time'. I checked with some of my neighbours who also had Reliance TV and found that they too were facing the same problem since 7.15 pm. Then suddenly an engineer from Reliance TV (wearing the unifrom of BIG TV) shows up at my door at 10 pm and asks if my Reliance TV is down. I'm surprised as my complaint had not been registered and yet the engineer showed up. When I asked him how he came to know about the problem, he evaded the question. He checked the system and announced that my set top box has developed some fault and replaced it with new one and demanded Rs. 525 for it. I protested that how could the set top box develop fault all of a sudden when it was functioning fine until 7.15 pm. Further, how could set top boxes of other people also in our complex develop fault at the same time, i.e. 7.15 pm? he had no answer. All he said that if you want the services to resume, new set top box will have to be purchased. New set top box will carry the warranty of 12 months. What guarantee is there that it will also not 'develop fault' after 12 months once the warranty period is over. I see some big game plan in this forced interruption of services by the Reliance TV. I request the authorities to look into the matter and stop this company from committing 'day light robbery'.

                              Respected Sir, Myself is Ms. Niharika Arora, a consumer of Reliance Digital Big TV, my smart card no. is[protected]. I am complaining not working of my set-top box since April 2012 to till date. I have taken this connection for my aged parents for there best time.But they unable to watch the same. They are senior citizens. In-spite of calling again and again customer care is not helping me in any manner. I have paid full amount for 1year connection but unfortunately not watched properly a single day. My complaint nos. are[protected],[protected],[protected].....Basic problem is the Set-top Box which is not working. When I Complaint in customer care, they responded that they do not have the new box in stock, therefore they cannot help me at all as they are helpless.The movement i raised my voice they disconnected the line. Many times they keep me holding my line to 30-45Min's by saying that they r connecting the line to the senior levels. Even My father Mr. Vijay Kumar Mehta(Retired Govt Bank Employee-Senior Citizen) called them, the customer care employees misbehaved badly with him, same as with me. I feel Reliance is a very Big Organisation, even though they are helpless to satisfy there customers.This is my humble request to pls resolve the issue or help me in getting my money back.                                 At first i had a reliance big tv then i later got reliance digital but the older big tv is not yet dis connected and now if i recharge the amount is going for both the accounts(digital tv smart card no[protected]big tv smart card no[protected]in the name of Anand rao . kindly cancel big tv and activate the digital tv as soon as possible.

                                  I have registered my complaint in that due to weather conditions my dish of reliance digital tv is been damaged, kindly send the engineer, i registered this complaint on 15th may 2012..customer care executive gave me the request Id and committed me that my request will be served in 48 hours...on 17th may 2012 , no engineer turned up, i again called up in night on 17th..again the executive committed me that my request will definately be served on 18th...again no engineer turned up...i again called up on 18th night that still my request is been not served and asked the executive to transfer my call to senior dept..he did that and again on 18th executive of senior dept committed me that my request will be served on 18th..on 18th when no engineer turned up i again called and person from senior dept committed me that my request will be served on 19th for sure..when again the same no engineer turned up on 19th as well , i again called up and again they committed that request will be served on 20th may'12...when again no engineer turned up on 20th as well i again called up..customer care executive who picked the call i asked him to transfer the call to senior dept he talked so rudely and asked my rudely that why should i transfer your call..i will not...when i insisted him than he only transfered my call and again they are committing that request will be served tomorrow...THEY ARE COMMITTING WRONG THAT REQUEST WILL BE RESOLVED IN 48 HOURS...AND ITS BEEN NOW 5 DAYS....THEY SHOULD BE HANGED AND CASE SHOULD BE FILED AGAINST THEM SO THAT ANY BODY ELSE SHOULD NOT BECOME FOOL AND DOES NOT BUY SUCH SERVICE..

                                    with heavy heart i have to inform you that i am new consumer of your reliance digital tv connection insatlled on 12th april 2012.
                                    due to unhealthy weather on 12th may 2012, there was problem in dish that was installed. since then "signal lost" is bieng displayed.
                                    problem yet increased when no action was taken for already registered complaints:
                                    on 12th may- complaint no. 201 050 37
                                    on 14th may- complaint no:[protected]

                                    please take neccessary step to resolve my problem asap or wise it will take me no longer to submit same to consumer court.

                                    hope you will understand my problem, unconvinence caused by non availiblity of television signal lost for such a long time

                                    digital tv — not working since 15 days

                                    I M USING UR DIGITAL TV SINCE 2 YRS. THIS IS FIRST TIME HAPPEN WITH ME. MY CUSTOMER ID IS 4478334 & MY NAME IS NILESH MODI. MY M# [protected]. I HAD LUNCHED COMPLAIN BEFORE 15DAYS BUT STILL NOBODY HAS COME & DIGITAL TV STILL NOT WORKIG... THIS IS VERY POOR SERVICE FROM UR SIDE. I MADE CALL IN CALL CENTER THERE PEPOLE ALWAYS SAID PERSON IS COMING TODAY WITHOUT FAIL BUT I DNT KNOW WHICH TODAY?? PLS RESOLVE MY PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.                                       the company service is waste earlier wen i have purchased the Reliance big tv connection ,
                                      the executivr promised me that you will get all the channels which you required appox, in 150 rs,
                                      now that executive is not lifting the phone,!
                                      and if i am givng complaint to the customercare they are telling that it is not our responisibility,
                                      and now i am unable to get the proper signal in my area as promised

                                      Reliance / Big TV — wrong promises in installation

                                      I have purchased a set top box of reliance big TV from a dealer on[protected] and he has promised that the installation would be done with in a day. As a part of process I have contacted the call centre[protected] on[protected] at 7 am for lodging a request for installation, I have been provided with ref. no. [protected], the executive has also promised me that the installation would happen the same day.

                                      As the same didn’t happen I have again contacted the call centre on[protected] for complaining and they have provided me the complaint no : 74914496. But to my surprise even a complaint didn’t had any effect, so I had to contact the call centre back on[protected] three times around 7 am and every time the executive who picks the call replies me that there is no supervisor available at that point of time and also they don’t have the transfer facility to the supervisor. I have also asked them the escalation process in reliance; they reply me that there is no escalation process and have simply disconnected my call abruptly. When I tried for fourth time a lady executive who picked the call has transferred the call to the team leader by name Bhuvaneshwari(how did this happen now?). After a long discussion for more than 30 minutes she has assured me that the installation would be done by end of the day without fail and she would be following up the case personally. I have also asked her what if it doesn’t happen then she suggested me to visit the nearest Reliance web world and can give a written complaint. As per her suggestion I have visited the web world at Kukatpally where in the executive there informed that the web world doesn’t take care of the service part and they are interested only in sales and also denied taking a written complaint from me. He also answers recklessly that call centre is the only means to get the installation done and there is no other way of contacting the service team (Hell with the process).

                                      I have again contacted the call centre on[protected] around 6.30 pm to hear the same version that the supervisor is not available and the transfer facility is not available (the whole process of setting up the call centre is defeated). The executive who has picked the call this time has also told me an interesting fact that all the service engineers are busy for next two days and the installation would happen only after that.

                                      Based on the assurances from reliance one of my family members who are regular employees had to stay back in home waiting for the service engineer to install (who would compensate me for this?). In despair and with no other go I am putting this complaint in this forum.

                                      Request you to provide me the best resolution and do justice to my time and money.

                                        BIG TV — not working

                                        I am using the connection since 10 months.Last two days any of my channels are not working but same time I am charging for it.Last two days I am calling to customer care they are telling my smart card ID number is wrong.My id number is[protected].Toll free number is not working properly same time I am charging for other land line number,i.e.[protected].I have already lost 100 rupees by phone to call them.I need action against it.
                                        My big TV smart card no.[protected] has been recharged yesterday with Rs.300- but not unfortunately not working. Nobody at Customer care listens. I have made 3 attempts since yesterday but invain. Is Big TV vulnerable to growth???

                                        Just within a month I have purchased Reliance Big TV. Within seven days it was stop working. I had register a complains regarding that but no body is taking care. Over telephone I had given the information to Mr.Shekhar as well as Mr.Ranjit. Both of them are employee of Reliance. I was surprise that after cross more than 10 days How a person is not responding.
                                        In this circumstances I 'll suggest to all my friends that in future no body will use RELIANCE BIG TV.
