I paid Rs.1490/- vide HDFC Bank Chq. no.064948, dated 3rd August 2011,
in favor of APPCO Marketing Pvt Ltd, to an executive named Ms.Saroj,
ph.no. [protected]. The next day i recieved a call from Reliance Big TV that the dish would be installed within 7 days.After getting no further action from that side, i sent e-mail abt the same to customer care on 11th August 2011.
The next day the executive called to say he would come to install the dish. The dish was installed finally on 12th August, yet the service has not been activated even after 24 hours, even though i am supposed to get the 1st month free.
Problem areas :- Their toll free customer care no [protected] has IVRS only, & the option is for i) an existing subscriber to punch in their card number, or
ii) a new customer to register for new connection. That's it. You cannot register any other complaint or talk to an exec. So you keep waiting.

Reliance Big TV — Delay in Installation process

Dear Sir,

I purchased a Reliance Set Top Box (STB) from Reliance World, K. T. Heights M. G. Road, Old Station Road, Sangli on Oct. 27, 2008. The salesmen assured the installation of STB within 48 hrs of purchase, which never happened.

The Reliance World, sold the product, but refused to provide any service support for the same, saying the only point of contact is BigTV customer care. Tried to call Customer Care on[protected] &[protected], but no any representative have time to attend my call. I called for more than 10 min for each call, but was on Hold.
The Reliance World, Sangli is the worst of its kind. There is no politeness and empathy. There is not supervisor available to attend escalation calls. They never hesitate to disconnect the call, when they cannot answer to queries. This shows lack of quality in service (no call monitoring).

I am calling to The Reliance World, Sangli from last week but they are just giving next day promise about installation.

Can the people concerned wake up and provide sufficient manpower to meet the requirement of increasing customer base. If not, refund the money paid for a product which has no service guarantee?
Installation is not a problem now Big tv's installation is now faster and better than previous one so no need to worry about installtion delay just enjoy 32 cinema halls.

      Hi Sir,

      I had a Reliance Big TV connection which I hadn't used for about 5 months. Last month I received a call from a person stating that He is from Reliance Big TV, since I am not using the Reliance Big TV, I can return the setup box, remote and smart card and get a refund of 1200/-. I denied it earlier, but after repeated perstering from the person, I decieded to give of the smart card, remote and setup box only with the assurance of getting the refund on time that is promised in 3 days.

      But its about close to a month now, i still haven't recieved the refund. Please advise how to go about this.

      I have the cancellation form in which details of me surrending the setup box, smart card and remote is given. at the back of the form, the person has written that he will provide me the refund in 3 days.

      Can i lodge a police complaint if reliance does not response. Please advise

        hello Sir,

        I have taken Reliance Big DTH connection in scheme of buy one get one free as i have two TV at my home
        They said you will be paying 1.5 times recharge per month for both the TV, and minimum amount for one Rs. 127/- that means for both TV you will pay Rs. 255/- per month.
        And in this scheme i got 3 months free TV recharge.
        When after 3 months we recharge our TV we found we have two connections on which we will have to recharge it by Rs. 221/- per TV[protected]. I recharged my one TV and called the call center then for complain
        they said they cant take any complain for this as you have recharged only one TV, if you want to complain against the sales manager then please recharge your both TV.

        Afterwards on 6th aug 2011 my DTH was not working, i called at call center then they informed you dont have sufficient balance , when i asked y then they replied you have choosen 3 movies to watch n your balance was deducted so recharge i[censored] want to watch all channels, But we have never selected any movie to watch any day.

        I again tried to complain against this but they again denied

        So want you to take an appropriate action against Reliance Big DTH service

          Dear Sir

          We are a Reliance BIG TV Customer (SIM No.:[protected]. Our residence is relocated.
          Person who installed our Dish Antenna, Mr. Arun, was informed about this. But he did not accept any further calls from us regarding installation at new residence. This pathetic response from Reliance was not expected.
          Please take note of this complaint and send a person to install the Dish at the earliest.

            I have done an order from Home shop 18 about a mobile phone in which tv channels promotes this order and i have booked that by a con call, after placing that order(order no:[protected] Sub order no: 34525049, SKu code:16NO-BeetelGD405NITCF2, Product name: Beetel Dual sim mobile phone Qwerty keypad-GD405 with free Reliance Digital TV Connection worth Rs. 1590 with net price Rs.1899. this mobile phone contains a card Reliance Digital TV connection its totally free from the vendor but this card was not applicable in my city as the process that i have to call in reliance digital tv cc number and register my coupon number and also register city pin code before 31 july 2011 but their is no response for the same. and i feel cheeted about that product for free words listen.
            Reliance digital tv customer care number : [protected] chargeable( about 100-150 rs charged for calling in this number their is no print for the same that it is chargeable) coupon serial number:[protected].
            I have regularly calling in this particular number for activation of that product but their is no response from reliance side so please help me out for the same.

            We are extremely unhappy with the service Home shop 18 provided to us and as per the initial response from them we are really uncomfortable and insecure to place a order from Home shop 18...

            We would like to cancel the license with beetel product with Home shop 18 and would like to get atleast the money that we paid .Could you please help us to get justice.Please give us an immediate response as we are really frustrated by dealing with them and feel that we got cheated.

              Dear Sir,

              I am a regular costumer of Reliance BIG TV, DTH service. I have recharged by account in the month of October'2010 for 1 year Platinum pack subscription and activated through their 24x7 costumer care.

              Very surprisingly my services revoked on 18th July'2011 indicating that, insufficient balance in the account. After my regourus followups and emails, I got to know that, my account was running on monthly platinum subscription pack instead of 1 year Platinum pack in which there is a discount of 16%. Even I had never been informed about the changes made to my account.

              Even after complaining, response is very weak and even no solution to the case is made and finally reported that nothing can be done by the company. To get the details of my account when I am trying to access my online account with BIG TV, and found service unavailable since 5 days.

              Kindly help in this regard.

In this busy world, where nobody have a single minute time to spend worthless, the Company like Reliance should offer value added, handy and transparent services to save costumer’s time. As I have got the opportunity to write few of my obligations towards your Company services, being a well wisher, I would like to express my valuable suggestions for your Companies betterment and reputation.
              1. The company is offering online recharge facility.
              Suggestion: It’s good that, the company is offering online recharging facility, but there is not the facility to select the specific pack directly at the time of recharging. Company is forcing costumers to call costumer care after recharging to get the pack activated, in which, miscommunication may happen as I am suffering as stated above.
              2. The company is offering 24 hour costumer care facility.
              Suggestion: It’s good that, the company is offering 24 hour costumer care service but is through call centers, who are in practical acting like recording machines and unable to resolve any serious issues like financial matters, costumer grievances etc. The company should form a team of costumer grievance cell for rapid resolution of the grievances. In such way, costumers will become satisfied and help the company’s reputation grow up.

                    When it rains Reliance Digital Big TV (formerly Reliance Big TV) signal gets lost and comes back after few minutes. For last 2-3 days I am continuously getting signal lost message. There is not physical connection problem. When contacted customer care I was told that it is hardware problem at consumaer end and they shall be sending their service engineer to check and they shall be charging Rs. 175.
                    How justified is this when consumer is at no fault for this signal lost.

                    i had purchase big tv in nov. for 3500 with one year primum pack free but after three month my serice is discontinu i am realy tired from this service and i decide to fight with him i want help from u if any body know where i will complant and grahak munch web site please tell me
                    company sochati hai ek customer kay karega likin kisi ki hat gayi na to ye samaze ge aur mai chahata hu ki ye kam mai karu so please help me on this topic
                    Do not worry and panic. You can lodge your compalin with consumer forum in India. The Procedure is very simple and no lawyer is needed to argue this. Demand a compensation of Rs 2, 00, 000/- The consumer forum would defenitly help you doing this.

                    The Reliance Bigtv is a fraud. a definite fraud.

                    It is very much disguisting.

                    We need to join agains them.

                    I AM ROBIN FROM AYYANAVARAM, FOR REINSTALLATION OF RELIANCE BIG TV , I HAVE BOOKED A COMPLAINT ON[protected] AND TODAY IS[protected] STILL YET TO ATTEND.
                    I HAVE CALLED CUSTOMER CARE FOR MORE THAN 50 CALLS, THEY SAY EVERY DAY THEY WILL SEND THE TECHNICIAN.
                    IF TECHNICIAN IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH BIG TV, THERE IS NO NEED TO SELL A PRODUCT
                    BETTER TO CLOSE THIS BIG TV, INSTEAD OF DOING A WORST SERVICE.
                    I got a new connection for Big TV- i requested the cheque to be deposited when my connection is activated
                    its being more than 2months now that my services are not activated and my cheque was deposited immediately which is cleared
                    This is the situation with 5 people from our residential complex
                    When i call the manager they give me a statement saying that the cheque has not cleared
                    i asked them to return my cheque
                    they have taken my money - not provided the service and pathetic customer service and now not returning my money

                    Expecting help from u and struct action against them

                    BIG TV SERICE IS VERY VERY VERY BAD SERICE
                    I have registered a complaint on 29-May-2014 at big tv call center ( complaint no.[protected]as signals are not proper and I&#039;m not able to watch channels.&lt;?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = &quot;urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office&quot; /&gt;
                    But up to till date any technician not visit even I not received any call from big tv.
                    I call on daily basis at big tv call center but all in vain.
                    It take about 30 min. to talk with big tv executive.
                    Please help me how can I log a case against big tv in consumer court as I&#039;m suffering mentally and financially.

                    My Service request No.[protected] was registered on 14.11.2014.On 15.11 2014 I received a message from Reliance Digital TV, charging me Rs.175/- claiming that the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. In fact nobody has attended the complaint till date.

                    I regret to inform you that such attitude was neve r expected from a reputed organization like Reliance TV.

                          My Reliance Big TV connection had been working fine for the last 2 and 3 months.
                          during the last month an engineer called from your side to migrate and realign the dish towards a new satellite.
                          i cant see any Chanel but balance deduct from my account.
                          I lodged a complain . Which was closed automatically without a call coming from your side.
                          When I called customer support but they will not resolve my problem they says that i has been refreshed your Chanel u can see after some time .

                            I G.Dinesh kumar, is existing customer of Reliance Big TV having smart card number [protected]. I had recharged my TV connection for one year on[protected]. On Wednesday[protected] from 7.30 pm onwards the telecast has been stopped, at 8.00 pm I spoke to consumer care and he said that I have minus balance of Rs.152.97. He said that on my complaint in October 2010. they have serviced my set of box and the charges were Rs.175. I informed him that no service has been made and register a complaint for refund, he told that our retention department is opened from 6.00 am to 8.00 pm, hence you call tomorrow.



                            On[protected] at 12.00 pm I registered a complaint no.[protected] regarding non service and refund of Rs.175 in my account. She informed me that after one hour the service will be activated and the complaint shall be solved within in 2 days and at 6.00 pm I contacted and was informed that the service will be activated at the earliest.



                            On[protected] at 3.45 pm I received a call from reliance big TV (phone no. [protected]) saying that my recharge is nil from[protected] and would you like to recharge. I asked about my complaint she told contact customer care. My recharge expires on[protected] but they are simply harassing me by stopping the service. Hence I request your kind selves to take appropriate action against Reliance Big TV and control them not to harass customer like me for no reason and oblige.

                              This is to inform you that i have purchase Big TV (Reliance) Dish 14 months before with one yea warranty. But on 30th May 11 i received the minor problem and the problem is that in my display is been changed in Black and white. I logged a complain to Big tv. Complaint no[protected]. The engg came to my place and resolved the problem and he charged nearly 200rs and i asked him for receipt so he said that " We dont have receipt so will deduct it from your Dish balance amount which i recharged for one year" and after few days the network was completely gone. Since i was out of town i have complaint on 17th june 11. Complaint no[protected]. The engg came on 18th june and they changed the setup box and charged me again 500rs and i asked for receipt and they said we dont have, we wil deduct from your account and suddenly yesterday they disconnect my connection and when i asked they are saying that 700 rs are deductted from your account so we disconnected your connection.

                              Please help me to resolve this problem

                                IN THE MONTH OF APRIL I HAD GIVEN COMPLAINT ON RELIANCE DISH TV CUSTOMER CARE THAT MY REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE IS NOT WORKING. THEY FORWARDED MY COMPLAINT TO LOCAL SERVICE ENGINEER OF THEIRS. AFTER THAT THEIR SERVICE ENGINEER TO WHOM YOU HAD REFERRED THE COMPLAINT HAD GIVEN ME TELEPHONIC CALL THAT , AT PRESENT THE LOCAL AGENCY COULD NOT ACCESS ME I SHOULD COLLECT REMOTE CONTROL FROM LOCAL BIG TV DEALER AT AMLA MP. BY PAYING CASH. I ALSO ENQUIRED FROM THE SERVICE ENGINEER THAT IF I PURCHASED THE REMOTE CONTROL FROM THE LOCAL DEALER THE COST OF THE REMOTE CONTROL WOULD ALSO BE RECOVERED BY THE RELIANCE DIGITIAL COMPANY , BUT THE SERVICE ENGINEER ASSURED ME THAT THE SAME WOULD BE REIMBURSED BY THE COMPANY. SO I PURCHASED THE REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE FROM LOCAL SHOP BY PAYING RS. 225 . THE NEXT DAY RELIANCE DIGITAL TV HAS DEDUCTED RS. 250 FOR THE COST OF THE REMOTE CONTROL, STATING THAT THE REMOTE CONTROL HAS BEEN PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE ENGINEER. AS A MATTER OF FACT NEITHER THE SERVICE ENGINEER HAS TILL TO DATE SEEN MY HOUSE NOR VISITIED ME , AND AS PER YOUR SERVICE ENGINEERS TELEPHONIC CONVERSATION I PURCHASED THE REMOTE. ALSO THERE IS NO PROOF OF REMOTE CONTROL DELIVERY WITH THE SERVICE ENGINEER THAT HE HAS GIVEN ME REMOTE CONTROL THAT HE HAS REPLACED MY REMOTE CONTROL DEVICE. I CANT UNDERSTAND FOR WHAT REASONS THE COMPANY HAS DEBITED MY AMOUNT.IN THIS WAY THE COMPANY HAS DUPED THE CUSTOMER AND WHENVER I MAKE COMPLAINT TO THEIR TOLL FREE NOS. THE CUSTOMER CARE REPRESENTATIVES REPLY THAT THEIR SERVICE ENGINEER IS TRUE AND MY COMPLAINT IS CLOSED.
                                THE CUSTOMER IS DUPED BY THE SERVICE ENGINEER AND THE BIG TV / RELIANCE DIGITAL TV.

                                  I have taken reliance digital TV connection in Gurgaon vide connection number[protected], in the month of April i have been transferred to Kolkata. I contacted to Reliance customer care for the installation of Big TV in Kolkata. The Customer care instructed me to deposite Rs. 350 against the installation & further the plan charges as per the requirements. Finally on 30/05/2011, I have deposited Rs. 700 into my account & made a complaint to Customer care for the installation. Till date the Big TV has not been installed & mean while they have charged Rs 175 two times as a technical fault. The situation at the Reliance digital TV customer care is very pathetic & they every time use to have new complaint registration without having any solution.

                                  I want a very strict action against the reliance digital TV for harassing a customer and kept away since a very long from entertainment world to me & my family.

                                  Thanks for your Late implications, please take my contact number from your system itself... it is updated there. However, approximately one month gone and contacted number of times with your worst caring team. But yet no solutions...

                                  If my money is important for the Reliance group so high & this may provides ROTI to the group owner then i am welcoming him & will try to forget this money putted for entertainment of my family.
                                  Dear Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Ji, The situation in your this section is very poor in West Bengal & mostly in Kolkata. I am waiting since long to be Satisfied bu no one has taken care of me. And finally taken the Airtel Connection. Kindly look into the terms very seriously otherwise this pathetic conditional will drop down your reputaion into the Customers mind very rapidly.

                                    I am using reliance big tv DTH services for more that one and a half year. I have paid for one year subscription of base pack and a regional pack. But two days the channels I bought were not visible. So after waiting for a day I have recharged the account with Rs 1400.
                                    Still the channels were not visible.
                                    I have tried to call the customer care yesterday. I have tried for more than 2 hours to get a person on call. I had to listen to the reliance music and the computer lady for all these time. Today also I have tried around 2 hours ..
                                    At last I got a person on call, appreciating my luck I have talked to the person about my complaints to the person.
                                    But the executive is so novice and arrogant. He made me feel that "NEVER CALL RELIANCE DIGITAL TV"!!!! He talked so arrogant and the information provided was incomplete. I have seen such arrogance in some government offices in Kerala before. According to him, I have to get to Jail soon because I have recharged the account !!!!..
                                    I had similar experience with reliance big TV earlier as well.
                                    In my view point, Reliance digital TV are not showing the value of the brand "RELIANCE"....

                                    plus my punjabi pack for one month free..But without reason, they suspend the servise.
                                    i call to custmer service they say you have mini balace is Rs.0. please rechare now i recharge rupees 60.for punjabi pack for one year .they did start the service .

                                      coustomer care me complain karne per 10 munit ka time de kar 7 din lagata hai.
                                      Mujhe reliance big tv ko nahi rakhna chahata hu. Mujhe bar bar problum ka sikar hona par raha hai. Mai tang aa gaya hu mujhe mera rupya wapas chahiya.

                                        I have a reliance big tv sattelite DTH connection in my house,recently i activated
                                        one topup channel sony max on april12 and yesterday i called the reliance biv customer care to cancel the above mentioned channel from my subscription. That peoples give they cant cancel it now you want to call on jul 12 to cancel this pack, If they are saying june 12 its quite natural but they told that you want to take for three months. This Message is not given me when the activation process take place. I think this is a cheating business where reliance is doing to catch these channels money for additional 2 months from all cricket fans. I want to cancel the channel from my subscription or they want to give me my money back to my account
