I bought a Reliance Dish TV Connection in the month of June 2011 . in the month of October when I got recharged still after two months it is not activated and my charges is also exoseted. I rush to the nearest dealer of Reliance but they refuse to help me and told me to register the complaint in customer care. In customer care no body respond.

We purchased big tv box nearing a month. We kept calling hundreds of time for installtion .After nearly 15 days or more.
Istallation was done on 235rd this month. As of now with several phones to various numbers given by various persons still our Bigtv is not activated. This is height of waiting.I really don't understand why so long. Nobody came after that.
Is this the way you people work??? This is very pathetic.I am annoyed.
We have Hathway connection from past the day it was launched.We have no problem at all .One phone call the very moment there are there at home. Becos everybody got your Bigtv so my husband bought one.If I had know earlier I would said "NO". If the activation is not done today I will go to consumer court. My smart card ID # SHYSTC[protected]

Reliance Big TV DTH Service — MISLEADING ADVERTISEMENT MISCOMMUNICATION

I RECHARGED MY ACCOUNT ON 19 DEC 2008 WITH Rs.500. I AM NOT ABLE TO GET MY ACCOUNT DETAIL THAT HOW THEY HAVE DEDUCTED THE BALANCE. THEIR IS NO SATISFACTORY ANSWER FROM THE CUSTOMER CARE WHERE I HAVE CALLED AROUND 25 TIMES IN LAST 3-4DAYS. THE ADVERTISEMENT ARE MISLEADING. AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE I WAS TOLD SOMETHING ELSE AND AFTER THAT THEIR IS NO PROPER RESPONSE. P

Reliance Big TV DTH service — deficiency in service

Hi,

My Big TV subscriber id is[protected]. on 23/12/2008 I recharged my account with Rs 500 & today I called up Reliance Big TV

customer care at [protected] to activate Max Plan which has a value of Rs 393 (monthly subscription). As per customer acre

executive the max plan has been activated but even after refreshing my –top box I am not able to view any of the channels

like Filmy, Neo Sports, Zee Business etc offered under max plan.

On 24/12/2008 I called the customer care multiple times and reported the problem but haven’t got any resolution, customer

care has also logged complaint # 83929157 and assured problem resolution within 4 hours but the problem still persists.

On 25/12/2008 again I called up Big TV Customer Care multiple times stating the same problem and Customer Care executive

again logged a complaint with complaint # 83969077. This complaint was logged around 10.30 am on 25/12/2008 and Big TV

Customer Care executive told that the problem has been forwarded to Big TV technical department and problem will be closed

within 48 hours but no action has been taken till 28/12/2008.

On 28/12/2008 again I called up Big TV Customer Care multiple times stating the same problem and Customer Care Supervisor (Ms

Usha) again logged a complaint with complaint # 84267106. This complaint was logged around 11.30 am on 28/12/2008 and Big TV

again I have been assured that problem will be closed within 48 hours.

Again called customer care and told them that I am not able to view any channel offered under Max Pack, logged complaint #

84429727, on 30/12/2008 around 9 am, BigTV assured resolution by end of day 30/12/2008 but no solution provided.

On 30/12/2008 at around 1.50 pm I called customer card and as usual (for the last 4 complaints) I was told that complaint

has been closed and smart card has been refreshed, but my problem has not been resolved till date.I have already lost a week

due to ineffieicient services of Big TV.

Again on 30/12/2008 around 2.13 pm complaint #[protected]not able to view any channel) has been logged.But the problem was

closed without providing any resolution.

Again on 31/12/2008 at around 1.52 pm complaint # 84572523 has been logged and still I am awaiting problem resolution from

Big TV.

Everytime Big TV has promised that a technical engineer shall call me & visit my home for fixing the problem but no one has

called me nor visited me and the problem stands unresolved.

I think Big TV is fooling the customers and failing to provide proper services.

I want my money to be refunded and I have wasted a lot of time. Why should customer's call the customer care multiple time

and suffer for no fault of their's.

Look forward to a response & help from Consumer Court for this issue resolution

I Devender Singh customer big tv since last three month with SMART CARD ID[protected] having problem to get STARTER 3 which I activated on[protected] at 3:00 pm. But I am not watching any channels after paid subscription of Rs.213 till now. I made numbers of calls to yours customer care no: [protected].They tells every time to resolve my problem within 4 hours. But after passing almost 96 hours no action has been taken. Please solve this problem or deactivate all my services.

Reliance Big TV DTH Service — Transperancy and Access to my Subscription account.

Dear Sir,

My Reliance Big TV DTH customer no. is[protected]. I took the DTH connection in the month of November 2008. I subscribed to some top up packages alongwith the base channel pack. But I am unable to keep track of my account and recharge. Of late inspite of charging the amount suddenly deducts.

I have complained BIG TV to either provide a log in service where i can view my account details or send me a statement.

The average time taken to contact the customer service personnel is 30-45 minutes.

Why is subscribers account not transparent like with mobile post paid or any other service?

Pls help me access my account till date from the date of subscription to the packages i have enrolled and the top up packages and my renewing amount details. I think as a customer i have the right to access my account details anytime i wish to.

Hi guys. Good news. After i put this complaint here. Reliance has embedded bigtv with reliance mobile registration and all the details are mentioned in one "my services" of any reliance usage. Way to go. Thank s for the support.

while im talking with one of the Customer Service Assoiate named Akshay at 1:06pm dated 02/12/2010 from the mobile number [protected] of Bigtv Customer Care, then he harrased me for long 28-30 minutes, and after that he wanted to talk with the customer.
when I educate him that customer not able to talk in hindi or english any language except Bengali, then he said that "customer must have able to speak in those two languages, ."
for this reason only that customer not able to speak in hindi or english, so he wasn't do the activation as per his company norms.
what ever I know that we are living in a contry named india, and as a country man we all respect all the languages all over in the country. So my question is that how a man sitting over a call centre in bombay can disrespect the other languages except our national language ??????????????????????????

    I tried reaching the number from which you called but it asks for extension number. Currently the request id is closed. May I kindly know the reason why it is closed when still that pack is not activated. The reason for the closure they told me was insufficient balance, I want to clarify you that I want to activate silver plus package with Multiple TVs, Multiple Benefits offer on my second connection(i.e 50% discount on one year pack since the parent connection already has silver plus package).     It is very unfortunate to inform you that your customer service is worst of its kind I have ever seen in such a big company like this.
    Fo the past one month I have been trying to activate Silver plus pack on my child connection with the benefit of 50% discount for one year pack on my child connection.
    I am so sick to call your call centre to call because I have called the call centre atleast 8 times from 28-Sep-2011 to 21-Oct-2011 and still the issue is not resolved.
    Everytime I call them they give me a new Complaint number, these are some of the numbers[protected],[protected],[protected] and some more which I have not noted it down.
    And also there is amount getting deducted every day from my account with the basic pack , every time I call I need to have the correct balance for activating silver plus pack.
    It is a kind of cheating you are doing not at all happy with your services.

        on that day i got a call from some agent of reliance digital tv n that agent said me that they will send me a engineer on 26/oct/2011
        On 26/oct/2011,i got a call from engineer,he asked me about my address i said him to come at a particular hospital and i will get there. i was waiting for him there
        he called me again n again n were telling me that i couldn't find your place
        then finally i come to know that he was finding me in jalandhar
        he was calling me from jalandhar
        but in actual i was in my phagwara city
        this is one of the biggest mistake Done by reliance big tv
        DONT BUY SUCH CHEAP PROVIDER

          I had activated the ten sports pack in july.I let it run till the lockin period.Meanwhile in the month of August my yearly pack expired. I activated the Platinum pack and continued. I called the customer care after the lockin period of tensports and told them to cancel it. The customer care person did so and i continued with my day to day activities and did not bother.As ten sports continued i thought it was cancelled. But Big tv performed a fraud on me by continuing to deduct the sum of rs 33.ON top of this there connection 8is so bad that it keeps getting disconnected.I request action to be taken against this fraud.

            Sir, i have activated 3 months platinum pack on 5th of october. I have already paid Rs 1125 to Reliance digital tv. From 21st october i am unable to see any channel. It shows you are not subscribed to the channel. Instead of subscribing it shows this error. I called almost 50 times to customer care on [protected], but they are telling it will be solved in 15 minutes but its not solved yet after 4 days also. I really fed up by their service. They are not at all serious about my issue. Sir please help me. I have already paid the amount to reliance digital tv otherwise I would have bought new dish tv connection of other company.               Dear sir/mam,

              Requesting you to please help in to resolve my issue as add-on pack not working from last 6 days even after recharging with sufficient balance. Unfortunately, I am having 2 set top box of reliance digitaltv company and due to harrasment i recieved from your company([protected]) i stopped recharging my first set top box[protected]. Problem started when i recharged my second set top box[protected] online with rs100 to activate add-on pack(zeetv-zeecinema) which got suspended due to nill balance. Iam continuosly calling since 5 days to reliance customer care but nobody resolved yet except transferring my calls to senior department. When i got irate, they threatenend me that they will disconnect the call instead asking me for the concern. My mother(tripta devi) called your distributor at nadaun(himachal pradesh) on number-[protected] on 8th oct at nearby 7pm but the person started using vulgar language to my mother. Is this a customer service ? What if anyone use a vulgar language against your mother when you seeking help from any customer care center? I never experienced such an inresponsive customer care. Sometimes i think of breaking both set top box and throw it in front of your customer care premises. This is my last approach to you. Please help as add-on pack still in suspended mode.

                None of the DTH service providers including TATASKY, RELIANCE BIG TV, DISH TV, AIRTEL DTH, VIDEOCON D2H, SUN TV, DD DIRECT PLUS are providing Islamic Channels to their Muslim Viewers. Whereas they are providing all other religious channels. Why this partiality being done and why the Government is not taking stern action for this partiality. These channels are providing other religious channels like, Astha, Sanskar, God Tv etc. We, all Indian muslims appeal to you to take up the matter with the concerned authorities and please arrange to include the islamic channels viz, QTV, Peace TV also in religious channels respecting the sentiments of indian muslims.

                PLEASE DO NEEDFUL & MAKE ARRANGE FOR THE SAME

                  Hi ,

                  This is to bring into the notice of Public how reliance digital TV cheats with there very bad customer care Services. I am a reliance digital TV (BIG TV) customer since Apr'08 . Recently I shifted my house from Kondapur to Nallagandalla. When contacted them for a re-installation at my new address their CSR agent asked me to recharge my account with Rs350. I recharged the account using rechrageit now facility (I have all the transaction details with me to be produced in a consumer court).On 13th I called their Customer care and asked them to take my request for a reinstallation at my new loction. The account immediately gt debited with Rs350. The CSR updated my new address from Kondapur to Nallgandalla and said that the transfer of address request itself is the service request for installation at my new address. He was reluctant to provide any service request no for the same when I insisted he reluctantly provided me some no for which I never recieved a SMS.
                  No body turned up from the technical team to do the installation at my side. On 28th Aug onwards I started reciving SMS regarding suspension of my account . If you have not reinstalled my connection how ur expecting me to keep re-charging your account ? When contacted on 29th one of their smart CSR with a fake accent told me that I have to recharge with 350 rs again as my service is suspended . When I asked as I have laredy paid for the service which I never got he said he can't do anything as he is not seeing any service request for the same but he acknowledged that I have made a payemnt towards shifting. He asked me to pay again 350rs whichout any valid reason apart from saying your account is suspended. When mailed their CS tthey also replied with same thing . I wonder what CRM system they are into and how unethical this company can be ? I don't trust them any more. No way I am going to py them again for a service which I have already paid.

So what do you think you are on a daylight robery ? Your intelligent CSR who took my request of change of address said the change of addressw is the request for reinstallation at my new address.

                  Please check your CRM system what was my old address(XXX,Safari Nagar,Kondapur,Hyderabad) and what is my current address its reflecting(XXX,Nallagandala,Hyderabad). No body turned up even after chargin 350 rupess from me ,so again you are asking me to pay 350 for the service which you never gave. So what do you think do your company follow any ethical practice or only looting /fooling people . And please stop being too smart . As matter of ethics I'll pay 1K for a new installation from some differnt operator but I will never pay you again for the service you never gave .

                  You have the worst customer care service I have ever experience and I regret my dcn for going for a reliance product. Please send some one immediately to do re-installation or tell me why i shouldn't send you a consumer notice on highly unethical practices for not providing me services for ehich I have paid.I will publish this in all available social media so that people will know that you don't have a system to serve a transfer /change of address.How you fool and loot people.

                    I got a call from Reliance BIGTV DTH representative asking me to recharge the SmartCard[protected]. I said I am not using it and I won't be using it in future. Hence she asked me to return the Set-top box with remote, adapter and the SmartCard and later the amount will be refunded and She said she will be sending a representative on the same day (19th July 2011). I agreed and as I was busy at office I did not question her much. A representative came to my home and picked the above said items and gave an acknowledgment, which is a cancellation form customer copy. He had signed as Veeresh and had put a seal "RELIANCE BIG TV DTH KARNATAKA". He also gave a phone number ([protected]) to follow up.

                    Since then I kept on calling [protected], a lady picks up the call, she just says she will get back and with out listening to the next word, she cuts the phone. I tried calling Veeresh's Service engineer's number [protected] and it is switched off.

                    I also tried calling Customer Care [protected], they said they don't have any information about it. They told me that my account is suspended (not canceled) and asked me catch hold of the people who collected the items.

                    Now except those people phone number, I don't have any other information. How do I get my things back or the amount refunded?

I had lodged several complaints (from 13th July 2011) for the matter to the customer care executives, the local office and the head office, but till today no one has attended the complaint.

                        Though my account was active at the time of registering my first complaint I had to recharge my account forcibly just to register my complaint. None of the service personnel even bothered to contact me. Yes, I get calls from head office but just to know that my problems is successfully solved (What a technology - they installed a new dish antenna from a remote location).

                        Now I am determined not to use this product further, I want they just take back their 'toy' product and refund all of my payments for which they have cheated me.

                        Therefore I request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

                            Our Smart card no[protected] in the name of Mr.Jagannath. We had paid Rs.4560/- in the month of January 2011(4th) being the one year subscription for Platinum package which has 171 channels with one Regional Pack free. accordingly we selected Kannada Pack as the regional pack. in addition to above we had requested for Tamil pack by paying Rs.5/- per month for 12 months.The system worked for three months smoothly and all of a sudden entire tamil pack was Deactivated without any notice. when we made enquiry we were informed that we have requested for Kannada comedy channel as well as Ten sports.the money for Tmil channel has been adjusted again above channels which we have never requested. Both channels were deactivated after fighting for 15 days with your customer care dept.Now for the last one week we have been deprived of viewing Kannada channels.when we enquire with your customer care we have been informed that there is no balance in our account. we took lot of patience to explain to your executives about the plan. we could not satisfactory reply or explanation
                            and they are arguing on the same subject.they will ask us to be on the line and after sometime they will never come on the line.This futile exercise went on for SEVEN days and finally one Mr.Mahantesh was able to register our complaint vide no.[protected] dt.31.8.2011. we have been told that problem will be solved within 24 hours. we observe that nothing has been done since thia complaint. We take this opportunity to remind you to solve the problem immediately, otherwise we are forced to put the matter in News Paper and other media.

                                This is my worst ever experiance with a reputed company.
                                Sticky (glue like) liquid is found below the set top box,and it is tough to clean.

                                complaint no.[protected] was registered with call centre on 23.08.2011, and it was replied that the complaint will be solved within 24 hrs., which is still not done.

                                The same was reminded on 25.08.11 vide complaint no[protected], and I was assured that this will be looked after within 24 hrs.

                                The same is not resolved till date, and when I made a call today I was replied that system is down, please try after some time. Such hopeless service is not seen by me in my life from any of the reputed company

                                  I was informed about Technition visiting charges when call BIG TV customer care as Rs.175, as I had been outstation so my acct was not active. I agreed when 1st Tech came he said its a no signal problem and it needs to checked by another Tech, the other person said that as we had built a roof top we need to move the dist to another wall within our terrace, when asked cost her said there will be cable cost & the visiting charges. we agreed. after finishing he informed us Tech Visit charges Rs. 175.00 & as 27meter cable was used one meter cost is Rs.12.00, we specifically asked if any more charges he said that's all. As per my earlier discussion with customer care I had taken a package worth Rs.215.00 per month, so we charged our account Rs.250.00 & Rs.500 for Tech cost. As out acct was still inactive we called customer care & were informed that there is a ADDITIONAL relocation charges Rs.350.00. we were SHOCKED.
                                  I argued with Supervisor, Karthik & Ms. Indu for 2hrs. who then assured me a call back with an investigation within 24hrs and till then my acct will be active. with no call back and acct inactive I called back and came across a very rude person Mr. Sendhil (Sup) who said I have to pay the amt no matter what. I said I have discussed with other sup. and I am ready to pay what was informed to me but not what wasn't in fact I have already paid in total Rs. 750.00. this person didnt wanted to hear anything there was no sorry for no call backs just kept repeating me to pay. I siad to him I am ready for a conference with the tech as we were assured there will not be any further charges, but he didnt budge.
                                  I wanted cable and had to option as a customer my rights had been violated!!!
                                  When IO tried making payment through IVR through my Credit card the IVR declined but there was a deduction of Rs.100.00, I raised an investigation provided transaction no. to Mr. Balaji who gave me complain no[protected] on 8th Aug 2011, I was informed 72hrs timeframe. I was held with some work and called back on 23rd Aug, 2011 only to be informed by Mr. Darvin that the investigation failed as the previous agent mentioned the payment was done through online, again I got a complain no[protected] and another timeframe of 72hrs.
                                  Its frustrating the amt of TIME, ENERGY & Money I have wasted. Their customer service was horrible with no say by customer. NO callbacks made as promised and when asked there was no sorry. I had no choice was charged wrong & uninformed but with no solution but to pay in what they said.
                                  As a customer do I have any say? any right? when charged wrongly? how can we stop such a malpractice.

NOW THEY HAVE STOPPED MY SERVICES , MY CHILDERN ARE FEELING VERY SAD.

                                      My Reliance big TV is showing no signal for almost 36 hours the limit they said to rectify the problem is 48 hours.

                                      You can not call them directly it's same story press 1 then press & press.Everytime some new person will answer you & you have to repeat the full story.

                                      Secondly if Iam not able to watch my TV then why Reliance is deducting per day charge from my account.

                                      I feel TATA SKY is the best as I have that connectionalso till date no problem.

                                        I am completely fed up with the service offered by reliance big tv. I had prevailed a yearly pack of worth 1309 Rs on 2262011. I can enjoy that service only for two months. Their after I can able to see few channels. I had called customer care and enquired about. First they appologise for the technical issue and next we got our service back. But next day again services lost. We had call customer care many times, but they assured as soon we will get service back. But still now we didn't get services back. But now they told as that we had canceled the pack and in order to restore service we need to Pay agin 280 Rs.

                                        This is complete injustice for me that they offer one thing and provide another. Please help me to get justice on this.
                                        I would like to add one more thing about above complaint. The behavior of the customer care executive one miss Vijina is completely bad and irritating. How a corporate company like Reliance can afford Customer Support executive like this
