I am a customer of BigTV since more than 1 yr with parent & child connection.[protected] However, I have been cheated twice while recharging. Once when I recharged for 3 months, they deducted it monthly and finished it in two&half months. Secondly, I charged for 6 months, they deducted full amount even for child connection. Even after various complaints, they did not correted giving excuse of the computerised accounting system. So better to be causious before opting fot this connection.

    Worst marketing
    I bought a BIG tv connection through appco marketing though i dint appco is marketing for big tv,later when i called the executives they neither picked my calls,after searching for thier number in business directory i came to know that their office is in mumbai,when i called them they says the cheque has been encashed and they will install within 2 days but till date no one has turned up, the name of Ritika who promised and now she neither responded to my calls nor call me back. It is very shame to reliance name even..

      Sir,

      I purchased a Onida TV and received a Reliance Digital TV coupon as a free gift with 1 month free subscription. I placed the work order for installation on 22-Feb-2011 and according to customer service the time required for installation is 4 days.

      From the time I have placed the request, I have been calling every day and no one has come for installation till date. Here the ISP(Installation Service Provider) has become the "KING" and as customer I need to bend to them according to their time and style of work.

      Even then all efforts went in vein, and I hear nothing than "SORRY FOR INCONVENIENCE"

      This is the worst service and response i have ever received and my suggesstion to all the readers is please DO NOT go for Reliance DTH connection.

      I want to escalate this issue to the higest authority to educate them how their customer service and ISP departments works.

      Please provide me the contact details of the relevant authority.

        Respected sir,
        We took 2 connections of reliance big tv in the end of march 2010. Since then we had multi-connections,but the company were saying that you have no multi- connections.
        Then finally we complaint to make our connections multi,
        but they sad you should recharge your a/c first (the bal.was Rs. 0 in both a/c),so we recharged Rs.300 in our smart card no.[protected] on 13 feb 2011 , and on 14th feb. 2011, we registered the complaint.(They sad your complaint will be resolved within 48 hours.)
        On 17 feb . when we called again, they said you recharge your another a/c also to proceed the complaint, smt. card no.[protected].
        we recharged our a/c[protected] by Rs.200 on 18 feb.
        finally about on 25 feb. ( in 11 days) our complaint was resolved.(and the connections were made multi).

        But the main issue is that in our a/c the balance was Rs. 41 (approx.) [total in both a/c] on 25 feb.
        The balance is too less as per our expectations.
        And on 28th feb. it was Rs. 0. (total)

        I had checked the balance after recharge, and till 23 feb., it was there (before connections were made multi).
        We have bronze pack and add on packs , monthly subscription Rs. 205 (app.) for one conn.

        When we asked them , they said you have not made any recharge of Rs. 300 in february.
        We complaint many times, but they did not registered our complaint.
        Now I want to ask if we had not recharged, so how we used the service b/w 13th to 18 th in[protected] a/c????

        Sir I request you to help us to get back our money.

        BUT COMPNAY HAS THE ONLY 5 HD channal in there pack.

          Dear Sir,
          Sub: Request - Regarding - long pending request - not solved still now.


          I am Shanmugasundaram.A.K., My Reliance Digital TV Subscription number :[protected].

          Please Spend 2 minutes and read my difficulties with your service:

          Last 20 days my service was interupted due to setup Box problem.

          On Feb 14 th 2011, i contact customer care for picture not continued in my broadcast area salso setup box automatically getting "ON" and "OFF". So he took as a complaint, then next day(15th feb 2011) nigth 9.45 p.m. one service person came to my home(with drunk condition), just see the STB and told "you must replace that" and gone. Also Rs. 175.00 Debited in my account, so my service was interupted.


          So, 16th feb 2011 i recharged with Rs.200.00 i contact customer care and gave the request for replace my STB with cost of Rs.500.00. So my request was registered, also i requested to attend service only by Sunday only, so the technician called me on saturday, i told please come on tomorrow(27 th feb 2011), but on that day he didnt contact me, so i contact him 6 or 7 times but he not response my call.
          But again Rs.175 was debited in my account.

          So on that same day(27th feb 2011) and told all stories and i asked him, " why again Rs.175.00 debited in my account?", he replied me " you service request was closed, but we are wrongly debited that amount in your account. So now take as a request for refund activities, that amount will be refunded within 48 hours, So i was wait up to 72 hours, but my amount was not refunded(still now not refunded and no broadcast).

          So, everyday 2 or 3 times i has contacted to customer care, but they were gave me same reply, " it will berefunded soon", but today date as 03.03.2011. But still not any satisfied action from Reliance digital TV.
          So, again today evening(03.03.2011) i contact customer care, and explain all stories with that executive(ms/mrs Nithya). She again registered two service request one for refund that Rs.175 to my account and another one for replacing my STB with cost of Rs.500 only. Also she promised me my money will be refunded within 24 Hrs.

          So, still i am waiting for your valid service for me.


          Some problems in local service persons for spoiling the Good will of Digital TV:

          1. Always they are asking money on hand after service, but customer care executives told dont't give money with them, only pay by recharge. So what can i do now?

          2. I need replace my STB by only cost of Rs500.00, but that local technician told they have only Rs1300.00 woth STB also they need money onhand oafter service, now also wat can i do?



          Please take necessary actions for solve my all problem, also pl answer my above questions.

            I am using Reliance BIG TV since two years continously. I just got a problem showing that there is no signal. I contacted customer care at [protected](toll free) and asked what to be done on 27 Feb 11. They asked me to press a red button in remote control. I have noticed that the Dish is showing First Installation, and signal quality is poor. They said me that their Engineer would visit and rectify the problem, whereas I replied that there is no such neccessity of Engineer and I would look after the problem for signal strength, still customer service personnel said to top up my dish so that Engineer will visit, Again I repeated the same that I don't want any Engineer , I will look up myself. I myself changed the direction of focal and found working normal. The very next day Rs. 175 have been deducted from my account and when I called the customer service they kept me on hold saying there is some technical problem in their system. on 29th Feb afternoon I called and asked why they deducted the amount. The customer service replied that they deducted since their Engineer visited my home and rectified the problem, whereas I shifted my house as well as telephone no. which I have given in my first installation address. I called the customer service and asked for the details of the Engineer and which branch had sent him,, the reply is keeping on hold and disconnecting the calls.

            Reliance Big TV — Customer service issues

            Sales man sold multiconnections to me and said they will be billed separatly. Customer service don't have any control and lot of people don't even speek english. Each person says different things. I recharged my primary connection for one year value pack and requested for kidsplus as an add on and recharged the account with additional 28 rupees for kids plus but no use. Representative says wait for one hour and the package never activated. They asked me recharge it again and again and finally told me that I have to recharge again with 761 and now they were asking me recharge again for regional packages. It is very frustating since each representative tell differently and there is no written statements from them. I paid lot of money in 3 months and don't know what to do.
            I told them in very simple that I need telugu regional package and kids plus on my primary connection. My primary connection smart card no:[protected] and secondary connection smart card no:[protected]. I never used my second one but still have to pay for it.

            I have registered the customer login at reliance bigtv so that i can view my account balance and as well as to recharge when the balance came low.. but now the login facility is gone in the reliance bigtv netwok why?
            i have recharged for yesterday date on 18.07.2011 but my service not start my smart card no. is[protected] jitendra kumar my mobile no.[protected]
            my free chainal not show my tv some month why? and not chatting with customer care no. to my registerd momile no.[protected] (AirTel) why?
            pls solve my complain urgent
            i paid advance of 700 RS for reliance big tv on august 23, till now i didnt get any responds or connect

              Respected Sir/Madam,

              I, myself Ratikanta Mishra is a customer of Reliance BIG TV bearing smart card no.[protected]. Due to insufficient balance my connection was suspended on 23rd Feb, 2011. On the same day, I have recharged Rs 100/-. As the set-up box was off at that time, it has to take 4-6 hours for reactivation. But this was not happened. I was in waiting for more one day i.e. 24.02.2011. But the status was as it is in before and a message was appeared as "Error 200, Unsubscribed Chhenals". So, I came to the contact of BIG TV customer care in[protected] on 25th Feb, 2011 at 8.57am and told him to reconnect as there is sufficient balance in my account. They also assured me to keep power on to the set-up box and wait for 1 hour and you will be reconnected. Even after waiting 2 hours, i.e at 11.27 am I called him again and same response was done by them to wait one hour. Similarly, I gave him 3 more camplain, requesting him to reconncetion on 25th Feb,2011 (Tolal 5 complain for this case in 25th). Today in 26th Feb,11, I have also recharged Rs 100/- more and contactd them to activate my account but same response they are adopting to solve the matter (wait for 1 hour, your account will be reconnected, however after suspention of my account, the balance has been deducted in daily basis.

              Sir, Please help me how can I get connection and also give a lesson to Reliance BIG TV authotity not to provide such type of service to the customers...

                Sir, I booked a Reliance Digital TV on 22-feb- 2011 and they promised that installation will be done with in 48 hours and it is written on the paper also. I have called customer care 12 times and they say every time same thing- "sorry for inconvenience, we have sent the request to the technician department and they will contact you shortly". It has been three days, so far no one has contacted yet.

                I too have a bad experience with the Reliance Digital TV connection.
                Although payment was made on 5th August 2011, the Dish was installed only
                on 21st August 2011. The activation was supposed to be made within an hour,
                the same is not activated till 1130 hrs today the 22nd August 2011. The problem
                I understand that the marketing company M/s APPCO Group who sell the Reliance Digital TV
                has not transferred the charges to the Reliance Digital TV till now and hence the delay.
                There is no response from the people from APPCO Group.

                  I bought a connection in the month of January fro a dealer called APPCO Marketing Pvt Ltd by paying Rs.2980.00 wherein one extra dish connection was offerred free. They offerrred threee months free channels after which they said we would have to pay for the prefernce channels.Till date no one has bothered to contact. This tantamounts to cheating and the dealer should be located and arrested for duping customers. The call center is also of no assistance whatsoevr. Reliance Big TV should change their name to Teliance Big Cheats

                    This is in regard to my swapping of reliance set top box with HDMI.on payment of Rs 2090/- It took 5 days to install the product due to wrong information that we will provide the HDMI cable with the new set top box.Then they have told us we will provide one month free HD channels but it is also not fullfilled till date after so many calls made to the company.I think false commitments and slow service is the motto of such a big companyPlease look into the matter seriously to retain atleast your old customers.

                      We were approached by Suraiya Kannum(Mob: [protected]) Marketing Executive of Appco Marketing India Ltd for Reliance Big TV Connection. We Paid them 1490/= by cheque drawn on syndicate bank cheque No: 957932 Dt 19/01/2011. And subsequently the same got realised on 22/01/2011. After which i have been trying to contact them they anever lift the phone.Last week someone picked the phone and told me to contact the Office situated at #126, MM ROAD FRAZER TOWN, BANGALORE.560005. Near BATA SHOW ROOM. Again I went there could not locate the place. I think now i have been duped of my money. Any how i will put the same in Consumer Court

                      Reliance Big TV — Reliance Big TV- Cheating customers

                      Reliance Big TV – Cheating the customers- my smart card no[protected]
                      Reliance has unethically deducted amount from my balance for the channels which I have not opted for anytime. They have activated those channels under my pact without intimating me. For e.g. they have activated NEO sports twice and charging twice from my account. Not only that they have activated Hindi movie plus and NDTV plus channels under my pack and charges are made regularly.
                      They have stooped the services of some pay channels for last 3 days and when I called their customer care, they are not resolving my problem. I have called Reliance customer care and send mails to them multiple times but they are not taking any initiatives to solve my complain. As I have taken up the connection for a year hence nothing is now in my hand, I have to continue for some more time.
                      It is now become a prudent practice for Reliance to cheat people. It is very much from their responses that they are not concentrating on customer complain and issues. They are just completely ignoring the issues.
                      It is my sincere request all please don’t take any product of Reliance whether it may be digital disk, mobile etc..
                      Guys, be careful about the Reliance Big TV.

                      Whenever you give a call CSE will talk to you and if he cant do anything he will simply disconnect the call. There is no hierarchy in complaint escalation.
                      If you are planning to buy a new connection Reliance is the worst to prefer. I have suffered calling to the customer care every day and sending mail to the customer care every day. You will not get any solution other than an automated response.

                      Please think of it, if you are planning for digital tv service provider. Do not believe the words "Indias best digital TV service Provider."

                      These people are just misusing the customers patience.

                      BIG TV — non receipt of fund

                      vide transaction id [protected] of icici bank, a sum of rs 150 has been debited to recharge big tv account no[protected] but the same has not been credited and tv is still disabled. pl restore my service.

                      Reliance employs some agents to sell their Big TV services. The guys who came to sell told me many lies about their products before I signed for it.

                      The lies were
                      1. All movies that are released will be available for viewing on Big TV Choice Pay within one week to ten days. The Choice pay has horrible collection of movies released some 6 months before.

                      2. You can use the USB slot on the set top box to watch movies. The USB is just meant for firmware upgrade.

                      3. Whenever you are out of station for couple of days. Just remove your smart card, the days will not be counted in the billing.

                      So naive or foolish of me...I fell for those. These agents will be out of the loop once Big TV representatives come into picture.
                      I have had a terrible experience from the time i bought it. I purchased a Big TV connection in Sep 08. The installation was pretty fast but for 1 week after the payment the activation did not happen. All I could watch was a red screen asking me to pay.

                      When the activation was done I was given a wrong package and since i had opted for a long term package they told me I will only be able to get the channels i intended to watch after 1 year. All this for no mistake of mine. The customer care is most unprofessional and least bothered. After continously calling for 2 months my problem got rectified.

                      But after the initial 12 months I was auto migrated to some scheme and my regional pack was changed from Kannada to Telugu without my permission. I am still unable to get the problem rectified. The call centre employees lied to me and told me to recharge for a certain amount and call back. When i recharged they used to tell me that changing the plan was not possible and i will have to wait for 1 more month. I have now decided that i will no longer use Big TV and switched back to my cable tv.

                      The worst part is once you lodge a complaint they dont bother to check whether it has been solved. They just close you complaint case giving some lame reason and till date i have lodged atleast 50 complaints but havent received a call from any Big TV employee enquiring on the service. My letter to their office and mails were also not replied to. You can only call the customer care and they dont have offices so once u ve bought Big TV there is no way you can make Reliance accountable.
                      In simple words " Dont buy Reliance Big TV"

                      I have got the connection of BIG TV ,during time of new connection i was told that if I will not recharge the card free to air channels will remain continue but it is not followed by the company.

As i am very sorry to tell you that I am very upset from your service ( Big Communication industries in India) I am old customer for you . ( Smart Card No.[protected] I closed your services on 30.4.2011. Some of your executive call me and they came to my house and take set up box and other things . They did on same day . Now today morning the same lady and hat executive didnt pick my call for long time. After so many call I Called her from other no.. She pick up the call and I am really shocked on her conversation. That telephone conversation was very rude and horrible . Please take care of her other wise I will complaint to CONSUMER COURT . I have ackowlegment for the same and I already recorded that day conversation on my mobile. Please note down her mobile no. [protected] and executive no. [protected]. If I am not received any call by end of this day then I am going to complaint Consumer court tommorrow and after words to your higher level. please note down my no. [protected]

                      Reliance Big TV — Cheated

                      I have recharged my connection for year but they deducted for monthly basis and not refunding the extra amount of deduction.

                      I have taken one year subscription. Now, it is displaying that smart card pairing error.
                      I am been trying to speak with coustomer care executive on Big TV toll free number from last 15 days. The call gets disconnects abruptly. It is very disppointing.

                      Don't you have minimum responsibility to speak to your customers? Are all Big TV executives died?
                      Is ther any alternate numbers to speak with Big TV executives? or Consumer court is the right choise?
                      Consumer Court is the only choice to deal with these. Even I have been facing issues with them and finally after repeated calls, caught hold of one of the execs and lodged a complaint. But even 1 month after lodging the complaint, no one bothered to visit my place although they called few times initially and assured a visit.
                      CHEATERS BIG TIME

                      We were holding smart card number :[protected] .In sep 2012 we recharged for a bronze pack valid for 1 year and they said we have to disconnect the call and call back again.First of all they put us on hold for atleast 20minutes.We called again and confirmed that we are taking the one year package .We wasted atleast one and half hours for it.

                      Now in April2013 our account shows suspended.We called them up today and it was such a hell.the first executive who picked the call ILAKKYA said that the amount was deducted on monthly basis because we didnt call back and confirm to them that we need 1 year subscription.We tried explaining to her that we did call back and to please check the records.She kept on repeating the same thing like a machine that "please recharge ..please recharge." she didnt even listen to us properly.We told her to connect to her manager.Who was another arrogant femaile.:LAVANYA:.she said that she is the top most manager at the office .she was not even listening to us.She kept blabbering .We told her we would take her to court.How can a manager be so arrogant?we lost our cool .

                      Dont they train how to handle customers.This lavanya kept putting us on mute which irritated us even more. We told them to take the request for deinstallation.She said she cannot do that.We told to connect to that same person who took the call last year.She said she has no provision to transfer call.She cannot take a complaint request .we got super pissed off.

                      She started off like a machine "sir please recharge to avail our services and just DISCONNECTED THE CALL.

                      People please dont BUY RELIANCE BIG TV.BIG TIME CHEATORS !!!

                      I have taken connection big tv realiance used for two years we got problem sum technical issue so we conact to the executive of realince big tv the executive name was subash ( contact no [protected]) Mr. subash taken our set top box in month march it now no response he has cheated us.                       Cheating Customers with a bunch of BULL ...My set-up box...of this Bloody Cheap company ...didn't work ..and complained i got a replacement after paying 500 and after 32 days...with two months the crap didn't work...i complained again they asked me to pay again ...but i talked to the customer care head and he assured me that i was in the warranty period after many hours of convincing him...now after getting the setup box the cleared my account and made it to -amount...and refusing to pair it ..until i pay up...if i ask for the head they say he'll come after 11 after 12 call us at that time ...the think we're job less or what...i seriously think of going to consumer court ...after this cheap Chinese Goods Selling Company...

                        I have given complain for changing of my address from Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad on 15.02.2011at 10.45pm & got request no is[protected], I have given my full new address & got confirmation of the new address, they told me they will send the person within 48hrs to my new address & company will deduct Rs. 350.00 for the charge of transferation.

                        But I surprise to know by voice mail that on 17.02.2011 morning they were deducted Rs. 175.00 from my A/C & no body has come to do the connection at my new address.

                        Then I got connection to the customer care I came to know that they have send the person to my old address & new address still with them but they are not able to relocate the address, again they given a new complain no. to me regarding adress change :[protected] & other one for deducting of money :[protected], What a poor service, on 17.02.2011 they are again telling it will take 48hrs again to do the connection at your new address.

                        A company is related to service industry can do like this?

                        Are to sure you can do the best service in future for me?

                          i have complained to reliance big tv call centre on[protected] as iam not able to get signals first five minutes, after five minutes i can able to watch the programmes on tv . i recieved a phone call from big tv person on[protected]and he tried to do bussiness instead of service.thats why i rejected the service but the amount of rs175 deducted from my account without veryfying wheather technician visit my home or not.                               Despite several mails sent to the customer service of Reliance BigTV regarding the Immediate surrender of my connection without any further delay..Smt Crd No:[protected] and haggling over the issue since 04t Feb i am yet to get solutions ,just speaking to one supervisor or the other and today dated 10th i had to loose my cool to another supervisor of yours named Ashok and again i was just assured that someone higher up will definitely address to my issue, but still waiting and narrating you the entire story again in person.
                              I have this connection in the name of Amit Prasad and i wish to bring to your kind notice that i am so dissatisfied with your services that i want an immediate disconnection and removal of your Set top box from my premises.
                              I am not at all satisfied with the type of services rendered by you. Now please show some patienceto go through my whole greviences.
                              I had a problem of sound in the month of December last,i knew that it was due to set top box but when i complained to the customer care but i was told that the set top box was absolutely fine(even without inspecting) just by giving some instructions to switch on, off and others.I was told that there was a problem with my Tv however when i told him that my TV was a brand new one.I had to call for the servicing of TV and was forced to pay for the engineers visit as my TV was purchased from Singapore.He cam and he proved that actually the TV wasfine.
                              Your so called service engineer comes and after inspecting everything he admits that there is a problem with the box, he tells me to pay Rs 175 towards his visit and Rs 500 towards the replacement of a serviced set top box.I objected then too and said that a new one is available for Rs 999 the why should i pay and get a second hand to have problems just after the expiry of the warranty period.
                              I called up the customer service and told them that i am not interested in the connection and asked for the refund of my money which was lying excess with Reliance. They said that i will not get the refund as there is no policy.
                              I kept on asking the address of Reliance office in Chennai but i think the person to whom i was speaking was an “idiot” as he didn’t know the address this is what he said to me and he thought that i am a fool and will not be able to find out the address. Actually he did not want to give the address or he was not allowed to do so.
                              I went to your office at Haddows road and met Mrs Neetu and explained all the things.She immediately took up the issue and convinced me that the box will be replaced and i will not be charged, i also agreed.But to my surprise both the amounts were charged whereas i know through Mrs Neetu that she has requested for the waiver and it will take a day or two.
                              Even that time i told her that i know for sure that there will be some problem later with the set top box.I was really a fool to agree to her regarding the serviced one although i would have got a new one by paying Rs 990.Will you not agree that it would have been wise paying 990 and getting a new one instead of paying Rs 675 and taking a serviced one.
                              I started getting some problem since jan 01stbut this time the picture used to become still(as technically termed by you set top box hanging) I thought that may be because of new year, but the problem still remained, i just recharged for the minimum amount ad thought of actually complaining after the 90 days period so that the warranty is over and i can have the upper hand.
                              After being fed up suddenly i see that i have lost the connection only to find out that only Rs 175 was refunded back and not the 500, i messaged Mrs Neetu but there was no reply and i called her only to find that she has resigned the job from Reliance.(Actually i am very sorry for her if she lost her job because of the commitment that she gave me regarding the refund)
                              I called the customer service on the 05th afternoon and again requested for the removal of your instrument so that i can install a new one , i was put on to a supervisor Ms Reshma and she promised me that some one will call me but unfortunately no one called me from the so called concerned department of yours. I called up again at around 22 30, Mr Bala attended to my call but i think he was too junior to handle my querries and promised that a supervisor will call within half an hour, i was expecting the call but again the same story, probably the Tea break was not over so around 23 10 i called again and this time too Mr Bala came on line after raising my voice he put me on to Mr Karthik but this time i was with a supervisor whose hands were tied(as per Mr Kathik).He too was not able to solve my problem however according to him he has escalated my issue.
                              On account of all these i and my family could not see the best of programmes of Saturday and will miss Sunday’s too.I do not know how will Reliance compensate for that.
                              I want to come out of this mental agony caused because of Reliance and therefore humbly request you to take away the connection as i am seriously not interested. i do not want to miss tomorrows programmes at any cost otherwise there will be a fight in my family as my family never wanted reliance again and i am not interested in spoiling the harmony of my family because of the agonies caused by the inefficient service of Reliance.
                              I know that my mail might not be read but wish to inform you that i have intimated that again i will not take a repaired settop box and i want a new one.
                              If not i want you to take back all your instruments from my premises before 11 AM of 6th Feb. If Relaince wants to retain customer that i will be only if a brand new set top box is given otherwise i am not interested and if all your instruments are not removed from my premises Reliance will be charged a rental of Rs 150 per day which will be the charges of guarding your instruments.
                              It is the same treatement what you give to your customers. Just because my money was with you out of blackmail i was forced to use your connection as you wouldts refund the money, u charged even without informing me , but i am informing you the charges and without the payment of the rentals instrument will not be given back.

                              I was just browsing through this site and was surprised to see so many complaints against Reliance BIG TV. I am also one of the agitated subscribers of this pathetic service. The only reason why I'm here again is I wish to know why does the government of India allows such companies to function in the first place when there have always been complaints regarding this company.
                              In the present day, when there is talk about e-governance etc, I feel the govt should step in and fine this company heavily.
                              I had complained some days back because, I had requested for a plan change and as per the new plan I was supposed to view only some of the channels. To my horrow, I was still receiving all channels, on enquiring I was told that the new plan was active but the old plan was also active and as a result I was charged for 2 plans.
                              I'm not sure if Reliance employ brainless people or whether they are paid any compensation? well it seems so as my name has been misspelt as per the records even though I had submitted my PAN Card at the time of installation. THe call centre doesn't seem to know anything.
                              The Prime minister talks about a growth rate of 8-9 % per annum, to achieve this goal, we need service providers who provide honest services not providers like Reliance BIG TV, who are only increasing tempers of the general public. I regret having subscribed to BIG TV as I was told by friends not to do so.
                              The government should take action when there are so many complaints against 1specific complany.

                              Despite several Complaints made customer service of Reliance BigTV in Gulbarga, Karnataka .regarding the lack of channels and lack of service it has been so bad . I had paid for 1 year and since from june my channels are not working. Once on e boy came and repaired andonly 3 minutes its worked. So what am i going to profit. What a poor service? Really bad . Can a person wait 3 months for any technical problem to be solved? what do you mean the people need? Any way never more tellling others that Big TV is good. This will be my last complaint. Dont do anything. Please take away the dish from my house.

                                My name is Gaurav Dharod i am the user of Reliance big tv & this is my user id no.[protected]. i had canclled the Reliance DTH service . Then i had received a call from the company regarding the new scheme which says 3 months of paid service & geting 1 month of free service. I had applied for this scheme & this was my request no.[protected] but after geting 3 months of paid service , i did not get the month of free service.So i called the customer care executive, the executive filed my complain & gave me d complain no.[protected] & told me that they will give me a call in 2 or 3 days . But after receiving no respons from the service provider i my self called the customer care executive & told every thing again & after listening to my complain again this time he rudely disconnected my call without giving any solution to my complain & after that when ever i call them they put my call on hold for 30-40 mins. this kind of behavour was not expected from such a reputed company & that to Reliance which is known for best service & belives in customer satisfaction. I was totally shocked by such kind of service.
                                I sugest to every one not to use RELIANCE BIG TV.

                                Reliance Big TV — not given proper service after complaint on warranty

                                i like to inform you . in big tv which is one setelite tv service and it is relince brand servece.so i m perchace it before 1 month ago .my complain is company engineer in not give proper service after i complain in company toll free no.

                                BIG TV — careless

                                My setup box number is[protected] is not working from 14.11.2010, complained through phone and they deduct Rs. 150 from account even without solving the problem and i am daily calling them at least 5 to 6 times a day and they are telling me everyday telling that will be sort out by evening and morning and still my problem has not been solved. I want to return the setup box and please tell them to return my amount because every month i am having problem of setup box and they are deducting Rs. 150 from my account, hence please solve my problem as soon as possible.
                                I am suresh kumar rai stying at nallasopra(w).my smart card no[protected].my big tv desh is not working from last 5 days. i called many times in castmer care but no satisfectory response get.every time they saying that after one hr dish will start but dish is not working till date.

                                  I have BIG TV Connection. I wanted to discontinue my BIG TV Connection for 3 months. I called on customer care and write mail to them. They said that you have to write a letter to us than only we can discontinue your connection. So, i wrote letter to them but they didn't respond to me and taking charges from last 2 month while we are not using it. Now, they are saying that you have to again write a letter to us.

                                    On 15th January, two marketing people from Apco Marketing working for Reliance Digital TV came and offered us two new connections in an offer for 7,500/-, which we paid for in the form of a check dated 17 January as it was a long weekend and bank clearance would be on Tuesday. It's been a torturing experience since then as we get calls that they are going to come for connection but no one shows up. I have called the customer care #[protected] times, emailed multiple times to [protected]@reliancedigitaltv.com, [protected]@reliancedigitaltv.com, and [protected]@bigtv.co.in, took the interaction reference numbers for the looong calls with the executives but for no use as of now.
                                    One time, the executive told me that the senior is busy with a meeting, not come to office yet, and many times hung up the phone on us, without us speaking any thing wrong ( for which they should have recorded proof in case they record their calls).
                                    The last option was to at least cancel our account, but even that is not happening now and they are not responding for that.

                                    Is there any way where I can get justice on this matter of fraud?

                                      I had registered technical complaint, for getting “Signal lost error” on TV.
                                      Your engineer solved this issue by connecting a new LNB input pin to the
                                      setup box.
                                      Service request No. is[protected].
                                      For this, your engineer took 40 Rs charge from me and when I asked him to
                                      provide a bill, he refused to give a bill.


                                      Kindly provide me answers to below questions.

                                      1. What is cost of a new LNB input pin?
                                      2. As per consumer law, every customer has rights to ask for a bill. Why
                                      Reliance Big TV do not provide bill to the customer for such technical
                                      assistance?
                                      3. Not providing bills for such assistance is documented in any of your service clauses/teams and conditions etc...?

                                      Please provide me answers for above. If answers are not to my satisfaction level, let me know to whom shall I reach?

                                        I am using a Big tv connection from last 2 years, we have relocated from chinchwad to Rahatani, we informed to the bigtv guy where we have purchaged the dish, that guy came and took Rs500/-fixed the installation, but we are not getting the services its showing the signal lost message, i called up to that guy but he is not available and called up to customer care they asking me to pay 350 rs again but the installation was already done only they have to start the services, for that they have the strict company rules so they are not doing the need full and, every day they are cutting the amount from my account, so i have asked them to
                                        1. cancel my services and get my amount return back, but they will not cancel from there end they will never return back the amount
                                        2. installation was already done, so only for get my services they are again asking me to pay 350 rs, if installation was not done it is fine that i can pay 350 to the engineer, already every thing was done but they were not giving my services back
